Introduction

Tiger Woods 11 is one of the easiest sports platinum trophies there is. Even if you are new to the franchise, you should still be able to get platinum within a day's worth of playing. You will need to be connected to the PSN to accumulate GamerNet points, which is what skews the Online trophy amount.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Take the Survey/View the Video

You can get a gold and silver trophy without ever seeing the golf course. At the main menu screen, you can go to the Latest News tab by hitting R2 and take a simple 1-question survey (Hanging Chad) and watch a community video (Couch Potato)(at time of this guide, no videos were posted yet but they will be here).

Step 2: Ryder Cup

Your next easy task will be to earn the USA Vs. Europe trophy by participating in the Ryder Cup. The beauty is, again, you don't have to actually play any golf. As soon as enter the Cup, you get the trophy, you don't actually have to play it.

Step 3: TeamPlay Mode

You can get Team Player and Packed Clubhouse at the same time. Use the Boost Thread to find some counterparts that can all be online at the same time. Under Online, you will want to go to Ranked Matchmaking and select Team Play mode with minimum amount of players at 24. Now it's a waiting game trying to get 23 people all to join your game. The good news is that once again, you don't have to play anything because once the lobby fills and the game starts, the trophies will pop up.

Step 4: Online Tournaments

There are two online tournaments that you need to participate in to achieve Learn from the Pros and Played the Pros. For Learn from the Pros, you just need to enter any live tournament with the Ball Path option turned to "Leader" or "Top 3". Once you enter the tournament, the trophy will unlock. To this point, you still probably haven't even played a round of golf, but for Played the Pros, you actually have to complete the tournament and submit your score. It doesn't have to be pretty, just need to finish 18 holes.

Step 5: GamerNet Challenges/Course Specific Trophies

There are 5 course-specific trophies to unlock that you can do in any game mode. I suggest unlocking them while doing an 18-hole Showdown in the GamerNet Challenges. Simply find a challenge that you think you can beat at one of the 5 courses you still need to unlock and play through the full 18 holes. If you are successful in beating the challenge, you will get a lot of GamerNet points (Anywhere from 600-3,000 depending on difficulty of challenge) on your way to 5,000 and 10,000 (GamerNet Specialist and GamerNet Pack Rat) as well as unlocking the course specific trophy. At some point during your play, you should unlock FIR, GIR, Showing My Skills.

Step 6: Cleanup

At this point, you should only have a few random trophies left (Blammo!, Nice View, Best of the Best, Stay Focused, and Reading the Green). Follow the guide below to get some tips on all of these if you're having problems.

And that's it! You should now have the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 Platinum Trophy!

Hall of Famer
Congratulations for unlocking all trophies in Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11

Automatically unlocks. Congratulations!

Nice View
Complete an 18 hole round with a final score under par using True-Aim (1)

At the Main Menu, go into "My Tiger" and select Game Options. Turn True-Aim on and the difficulty to Amateur then go into Play Now. True-Aim basically removes the circle that you see when you zoom in on the hole, and doesn't allow you to follow the ball in-flight. You can still use the focus bar and Putt Previews to help you out. To easily remain under par, create a custom course featuring the same easy hole (Suggest hole 9 at St. Andrews) and play it over and over, getting the hang of where to hit and how hard, etc. (Thanks to zeze for tip). To create a course, go to Play Now and select "Random 18" as your course and hit . Select St. Andrews Hole #9 as all 18 holes. Using Tiger, just hit a 3-wood off the tee with a little bit of top spin and you should find yourself with an easy eagle putt every time.

Stay Focused
Use Focus to hit a 375 yard long drive.

Under Play Now, select Bethpage Black as your course (you can play any course, but Bethpage has some nice elevated tees to add distance), Tiger Woods as your golfer and go to Options and set the wind to "Gale Force" with "Sunny" weather. You can also use the "Custom" hole select to only select holes that are longer than 380 yds to keep you from wasting time on Par 3's. Play through until you get a hole that has a wind to your back. Use Focus Power Boost (tapping L1 or X during back swing) to build up your swing power to 115-120% and when the ball is in the air, continue tapping L1 or X while holding up on the L-Stick to get a lot of top-spin on the ball. The only stipulations for this trophy are that it must travel at least 375 yds and land in the fairway. If you have a 25mph+ wind at your back, you should get this no problem as long as it is in the fairway.

Team Player
Play in an Online Team Play match

See "Packed Clubhouse."

Packed Clubhouse
Compete in a 12 vs. 12 Online Team Play Match (2)

Under "Online", find a lobby and set your match options to "Team Play Mode" and the minimum number of players to 24. Now you must sit and wait, and hope that the game fills up in a reasonable amount of time.

You will want to use the boosting thread located here to find some partners and try to get on at the same time. The only thing I will add is to set aside at least a half hour of trying to get this. Don't jump in-and-out of games trying to find one more full because chances are, there aren't. If you stay in the same game for a while, eventually people will keep joining.

The good news is, that as soon as your lobby is filled and the game starts, the trophy will unlock, you don't actually have to play.

Best of the Best
Beat an EA Sports GamerNet Daily Challenge

The GamerNet Daily Challenges are the challenges that pop up when you are playing a single player round. As long as you are connected to the PSN, it will automatically download a Daily Challenge to the hole you are playing.

For par 4 or par 5 holes, it is typically a Long Drive challenge that can be beaten. If you are using Tiger Woods as your golfer, try to use the Focus Power Boost (tapping L1 or X during backswing) to get your power up to 110-120%. As the ball is in the air, push up on the L-Pad and keep tapping L1 or X to give the ball top spin, which will make it roll further. If your ball goes past the marker for the Daily Challenge, the trophy will unlock.

Learn from the Pros
Play a Live Tournament with ball paths turned ON (1)

No actual golfing required for this trophy. Just go to the "Live Tournaments" option from the Online menu and find a tournament you are eligible for. Before you go into the tournament, hit to bring up the Ball Arc options. From here, make sure that the "Ball Paths" option is on "Leader", "Top 3" or "Top 5". As soon as you enter the tournament, the trophy should pop during the load screen.

USA vs. Europe
Participate in the Ryder Cup

Just go to the "Ryder Cup" option at the Main Menu, select a golfer, and enter the Cup. During the first load screen to take you to the 1st hole, the trophy will pop, simple enough.

Hanging Chad
Provide feedback by taking a survey (3)

The easiest Gold Trophy you will ever get. At the main menu, hit R2 to go to the "Latest News" tab and find the Survey. Hit to take the survey and once you submit your answer, boom, gold trophy.

Couch Potato
Watch a Community Video in Latest News

At the main menu screen, hit R2 to bring up the Latest News tab. From here, there will be a video that you can watch. At the time of this guide being written, EA had not uploaded a video yet.

Showing My Skills
Post an EA Sports GamerNet Challenge

After you take any shot, hit R2 to enter the GamerNet replay menu. From here, you can upload your shot to the EA Sports GamerNet Community. Just set a win condition and hit "Post Challenge" and the trophy will unlock.

Hold my bag as I bust your clip
Bust an EA Sports GamerNet Challenge

Under the Online menu, go to "GamerNet" challenges and find an easy challenge. The difficulty of the challenge is based on a points system, so if you find one that is worth less than 50 points, chances are it is a simple shot that can easily be beat.

You can also achieve this trophy at the same time as "Best of the Best" if so desired.

GamerNet Pack Rat
Earn 10,000 Player Points in EA Sports GamerNet

GamerNet points are earned by completing Daily Challenges in single player mode or GamerNet Challenges from the Online menu. Your best bet to quickly accumulate points is to do 9 or 18 hole showdowns. These showdowns range from beating a score of -3 through 9 with a 3 hole birdie-streak to scoring -22 with 18 GIR through 18. Based on your skill level, find a challenge that you think you can beat and play through trying to match all of the Win Conditions. If you are the first person to beat a challenge, you get 2X points which is super-helpful.

You can also find a boosting partner and create a custom-18 hole course of the same easy hole 18 times in a row. To do this, go to Play Now and select "Random 18" as your course and hit . Select St. Andrews Hole #9 as all 18 holes. Using Tiger, just hit a 3-wood off the tee with a little bit of top spin and you should find yourself with an easy eagle putt every time. Finish the 18 holes and you can submit your round as many times up to 6 times, which with a low score full of eagles, should only require 4 or 5 attempts to get to 10,000 points if you are the first to try it (thanks to Burnz23 for this tip).

GamerNet Specialist
Earn 5,000 Player Points in EA Sports GamerNet

See "GamerNet Pack Rat."

Played the Pros
Submit a score in a Play the Pros Live Tournament

Under Live Tournaments, go to the "Play the Pros" option. These tournaments will only be available from Thursday-Sunday since you are competing against real-life golfer's scores from the PGA tour. All you need to do is finish 1 round of 18 holes, and at the end of the round be sure to hit to submit your score. Your position in the tournament or score does not matter.

Host of the Ryder Cup
Complete a round of golf at Celtic Manor in any game mode

See "Site of the PGA Championship."

I see the Statue from HERE
Complete a round of golf at Liberty in any game mode

See "Site of the PGA Championship."

Going for The Greenbrier
Complete a round of golf at The Greenbrier in any game mode

See "Site of the PGA Championship."

Arizona Heat
Complete a round of golf at TPC Scottsdale in any game mode

See "Site of the PGA Championship."

Site of the PGA Championship
Complete a round of golf at Whistling Straits in any game mode

You must complete 18 holes at each individual course listed in the trophy descriptions (Celtic Manor, Liberty National, The Greenbrier, TPC Scottsdale, and Whistling Straights) in any game mode, but you MUST complete 18 holes. If you play match play and defeat your opponent after 13 holes, it does not count so I would stick with Stroke Play.

I strongly recommend playing a 18-hole Showdown in a GamerNet Challenge to help you on your way to "GamerNet Pack Rat". Just find a challenge that you think you can beat that is played at the trophy course you are looking to unlock and give it a go. Even if you beat or fail the challenge on the 16th hole, you still have the option of finishing the round out, letting you unlock this trophy. You may not earn the GamerNet points you hoped for, but at least you'll get the Silver trophy for finishing the course.

Secret Trophies

Fairway in Regulation
Land the ball on the fairway after your tee shot.

Very simple, with your first shot off the tee, simply land the ball in the fairway. Should come without trying.

Green in Regulation
Land the ball on the green with at least 2 fewer strokes than par.

A Green In Regulation is getting on the green allowing yourself the chance for a birdie put. For a Par 4 hole, you must be on the green in 2 shots, 3 shots for Par 5, or on the green in your first shot on a Par 3. Again, this will most likely come without you focusing on it, but if not, St. Andrews has a lot of short Par 4's that can be easily reached in 2, if not 1.

Reading the Green
Sink a 50 foot putt

I did this on St. Andrews hole #9 because it is a large, fairly flat green. After your tee shot, pitch the ball onto the green so that it is at least 50 feet away and you have a fairly straight shot to the cup. Once you are located at a position you think you can handle, line up your shot the best you can and then use Putt Preview by hitting L1 to see your line. If the line doesn't lead directly to the hole, adjust your aim as best as possible based on the feedback you got from the Preview and attempt the putt. If you miss, just retry the hole until you get it.

BLAMMO!
Hit the green on your first stroke at Sawgrass 17

Go to Play Now and select TPC Sawgrass as your course. Before starting the round, go into Game Options and for Hole Select, pick "Custom" and select Hole #17 only. This will save you time from having to play the 16 holes before it. You will also want to set the weather to "Sunny" and wind to "Calm" to make sure the shot is easy as possible.

As long as your first shot ends up on the green, the trophy will unlock. If not, hit start and retry.
