STEP 1: Offline Trophies
Get used to the mechanics of the game and focus on character-specific KO trophies and ones for counter-attacks or completing Arcade mode in various times. Many of these you will get without really trying for them. Also start working on Perfect Fighter by keeping track of your fight progress with and against each fighter (see trophy for more details). Overall you have to do a minimum of 44 playthroughs (roughly 2 for each character) for this step.

STEP 2: Online Trophies
In order to get all the online trophies you will need to play 1400 matches and win 100 matches in Arcade mode. This is where the bulk of your platinum time will be spent. I highly recommend finding a boosting partner in the Boosting Thread, or else it's going to take you forever. Although even with a boosting partner it will take some considerable time. Good news is that you should get the other online trophies along the way.

Unlock all trophies. 
Acquire all other trophies to unlock the platinum.
Warrior
Won 5 or more battles in Online Mode. (2)

These have to be done in Arcade and Online mode. If you don't have a boosting partner you may want to find one, because in order to get the platinum you will also need to play 1400 online games. Boosting may cut the time down dramatically.

Rookie
Competed in 10 or more battles in Online Mode.

Razor Edge
Executed a counter-attack at least 50 times in Versus Mode or Online Mode. 
This move is performed by doing a Heavy Punch & Heavy Kick at the same time while holding back/blocking a split second before someone attacks you. Experiment and find out which attack move is easiest for you, but I find if someone attacks from the air, it's easier to counter. Also, you may want to assign both Heavy Punch & Heavy Kick to a single shoulder button ( or ) to make it easier.

This is a good move to do if you're boosting online wins with someone.
Bull Fighter
Inflicted critical counter-attack damage at least 10 times in Versus Mode or Online Mode. 
You need to have "Critical Counter" activated and hit your opponent ten times while in that mode, doing damage to their healthbar. The best thing to do is once CC is activated, spam one of your quickest light punches or kicks as many times as you can, hopefully getting more than 10 hits.
Slow Starter
Cleared Arcade Mode within 10 minutes.

Cleared Arcade Mode within 6 minutes.

Cleared Arcade Mode in under 3 minutes and 30 seconds. 
Here's what you have to aim for:
5 Matches in 3:30
1 Match in 42 Seconds
1 Round in 14 Seconds

So try and keep your times under these:
End of Match 1: 0:42
End of Match 2: 1:24
End of Match 3: 2:06
End of Match 4: 2:48
End of Match 5: 3:30

After every match you are allowed to try it again once, so if you're not happy with your time you can take a risk and give it another go. In your first match try and defeat the other team as quickly as you can under the required time of 42 seconds. Keep trying until you're happy, the best I did was 26 seconds. Doing this gives you more overall time to spend on the next 4 matches.

If you don't like how the first match is going, press , exit back out into "Member Select" and try again. While going for this trophy it might be a good idea not to keep track of your Perfect Fighter progress because of all the restarting you might have to do.

This is not really hard, just very time consuming. You must KO every single character with every other character in Arcade mode. Remember there are 22 characters altogether and you can only fight 15 of them in one game, so you will always have 7 more you have to KO after you complete the game all the way with 1 character.

As such, this will require a minimum of 2 playthroughs with each character, which is good for the character-specific trophies, because it allows you to have 2 or more chances to nab those trophies.

Things to keep in mind for general KOs:
  • You can set the game options to Easy
  • You can use multiple characters in 1 playthrough (if you're not worried about a character-specific trophy)
  • You can quit out to the main menu, just make sure the game saves when you do
  • You can KO a character who has 1/2 energy (for example) and the KO will still count toward them
  • You must win with a KO, not through Time Over
  • You can't use a 2nd controller to boost the KOs
  • A very easy combo for every character that does a decent amount of damage is as follows: Jump in with a heavy, stand + heavy or both heavies at the same time for "E" Attack. Beware that some characters won't link certain attacks, though. For example, Duo Lon: You can jump in with your choice of punch or kick, but the standing attack must be a kick in order for the last attack to be allowed to execute.
For the character-specific trophies, please note:
  • Be sure to pick the character you want to get the trophy for as the first character on the character select screen
  • With said character you must KO every single fighter (15 in total) in Arcade mode. Which means you can't lose a round.
  • If your character loses a round you will not be able to get their trophy... however, you may want to still continue on and finish the game so you can add to the checklist for the Perfect Fighter trophy.

PLEASE NOTE:
This game can glitch and boot you to the Dashboard/XMB at random times, so be careful. A good thing to do is fill out your chart with this in mind, i.e. put a dot into the bottom left corner of every box whose character you KO'd and once the game is complete and saved, then change it to a strike thru diagonally one way. Leave the other way open in case you need to repeat the process all over again.

Conqueror
Cleared Arcade Mode without using CONTINUE. 
This trophy will pop as soon as you have completed your first character-specific trophy without using a continue.

All these matches must be done in Arcade and Online. They will not count in Player mode. Win or lose, it doesn't matter, as long as you complete each match.
