Introduction:
The Fancy Pants Adventures is a side-scrolling platformer that started out as a flash game back in 2006. Two years later, it was updated with World 2. And this year, it became a full version game with not only the first two worlds from the flash version, but it comes with a story mode, arcade mode, multiplayer online and off, unlockable accessories, and the ability to use a weapon.

Road Map:
1. Breeze through the story first.
When you start the game, the first thing you’ll need to do is finish all of the story levels first. Once you’re in level 8, you’ll be able to obtain the pencil, an item that not only serves as a weapon, but as a jump boost when you use it in the air. To make it happen, jump up and quickly tap (up) + (square). You’ll notice that Fancy Pants will gain a boost when he uses his spinning attack. Using this move is very helpful for ledges and finding collectibles. But before you have a chance to find the remaining collectible in previous stages and so on, you must defeat the boss pirate and save your sister for Big Brother and unlock Worlds 1 and 2.

2. Enter Worlds 1 and 2.
Once you finished off the final boss in Story, you’ll unlock Worlds 1 and 2. If you played the flash version of this game, you’ll recognize a few of these stages. Just complete them for Fancy Fanboy.

3. 100% all the stages.
Now that you’ve unlocked all the levels, you can go back and find the collectibles you’ve missed. Remember, with the pencil (or whatever item you’re holding), it’s a very helpful tool for an extra jump boost for those hard to reach places to collect stars and Squiggles. Once you’ve completed all of the stages with 100%, you’ve earned Obsessed.

4. Medals in all of the challenges and have every accessory for your wardrobe.
And now you’re left with the challenging trophies. You have a choice. You can go to Fancy Arcade (the blue one) and earn all 18 gold medals for Better than the developers, or you can replay any level and earn every accessory until you have all 141 and earn your Fancy Fashion trophy.

5. Clean up any missing trophies.
If you’re missing any other trophies, knock those out of that way and once you’re done, congratulations, Fancy Pants. You’ve earned 100% in the overall game.

[PS3T Would Like to Thank Techno Buu for this Roadmap]

Obsessed
Complete 100% of the Game (1)

This is where most of the trophies link together for this gold one. To obtain Obsessed you must:

Have 100% in all the stages in Story and Worlds 1 and 2. Every level requires you to collect all of the white Squiggles and collect all three stars for Paparazzi, but there are additional things for you to do to get 100%. In Story, you must complete the Micro-Trials (when you jump on a trampoline and a gold Squiggle shows up), complete all of the bonuses (doors with NPCs next to them) and find every bottle for Storyteller; in World 1, you just have to beat the Micro-Trials; and for World 2, you have to kick a shell to a hole as if you’re playing golf and find a trophy. When you’ve 100% every level in Story and Worlds 1 and 2, you’ve earned your gold trophy.

Big Brother

Better than the developers
Get a gold medal in all the Challenges

You have to get gold in all 18 challenges (11 Race, 3 Collection, 2 Combo, and 2 Golf) in Fancy Arcade. Most of these are locked when you start a new game and must be locked by playing Story and Worlds. Once you have all 18, you can proceed to earning the gold medal in all of them. You’ll be running into an amount of trial and error, but eventually, once you map out your strategy and have good use of the controls, you’ll be earning all of those gold medals in no time.

If you need tips on what to do on each challenge, check out the videos here.

Fancy Fashion
Collect all the customizable items (1)

There are a total of 141 accessories. You need to complete all of the bonuses, achieve 100%, and replay any level to earn any prize you’re rewarded with at the end (hat/hair, pants, weapon, live(s), or a random prize (?)).

When you complete a level with 100%, always go for the items and don’t go for the question mark(s). This can also be done with two players, but you’re better off doing it alone because half of the time, you’ll run into the same wardrobe you’ve already collected, making it more time consuming. I recommend playing through levels 2 to 7. Just breeze through them until you’re at level 8, so that way you’ll have 6 accessories unlocked.

Or you could repeat Pirate Cove since it’ll take you under a minute to get to the end now that you’re equipped with the pencil. Keep repeating until you’ve earned your trophy.

Squiggle Hunter
10000 Squiggles collected

As you play the game, you’ll be collecting Squiggles. Squiggles are the swirls you collect in the game. Both white circle (the ones that count for 100%) and blank squiggles give you one while the giant Squiggles give you 5. Just keep collecting them in every stage you’re in and the trophy should pop up eventually. Luckily, you can see your Squiggle total in your bedroom.

Paparazzi
Collect all 60 stars

See Obsessed.

Fancy Fanboy
Complete world 1 and 2

See Obsessed.

Storyteller
Collect all 9 Message Bottles

See Obsessed.

The Champion
Win a tournament on your home arcade machine

This can be done easily if you have an extra controller with you. Choose any game and just let one player win that game.

The Olympian
Get one gold medal

See Better than the developers.

The Newbie
Get 100% in one Level

See Obsessed.

The Juggler
Juggle a shell 10 times before it touches the ground (3)

You’re required to hacky sack a snail’s shell in the air 10 times without letting it touch the ground. It can touch the walls if you’re close to any, but NOT the ground.

Luckily, there’s an easier way to achieve this trophy. Go to Rolling Bayou, and find the challenge room (the door next to the frog in the hat). Once inside, move the shell to the trampoline and put yourself under it to make it look like your hitting it over your head.

Don’t understand how to do it? Here’s a video to show you how. Credit goes to OdyssicNG.
