| Comment #1 by XxDecieverxX Saturday, November 26, 2011 @ 11:59:37 AM A good trick to get all of the main cities quests is to save before getting a job from Delvin and Vex and if they don't give you atleast 1 job from the town you want just reload and try different jobs. | |
| Comment #2 by AbsolutePureEvil Sunday, November 27, 2011 @ 11:17:43 AM You can also just drop the quest they give you and get another one | |
| Comment #3 by TropiCoharp Saturday, December 10, 2011 @ 01:57:36 AM last one for plat... BORING GRIND! | |
| Comment #4 by BjarneBiceps Tuesday, December 20, 2011 @ 06:20:15 AM @1 yea. just save and load .. which takes like 2 minutes every time???? compared to fast traveling to anywhere on the map.. which takes the same? come on? | |
| Comment #5 by BjarneBiceps Wednesday, December 21, 2011 @ 07:35:28 AM hmm.. Am i the only one having a problem with everything going on in Markath? the guards stop me constantly. just like they did when i was to escape cichna mine,. and if i say "take me to jail". they just start over.. and it's even if i have no bounty? if i repeat the process. then eventually he'll turn around and say "alright , lets go". and he just leaves me. makes the process of doing anything in markath pretty annoying. :( | |
| Comment #6 by Mirukage Thursday, December 22, 2011 @ 08:15:44 PM BjarneBiceps, Upgrade your Speech level for 30 (upgrade with sell itens, persuade people, intimidate options). An option Bribe guards will be possible to choose | |
| Comment #7 by slade900 Friday, December 30, 2011 @ 01:43:55 AM First numbers Job is glitched can see the book but can't click it should I just give up on the platinum now guess there is. I way to fix this ? | |
| Comment #8 by ebellavita77 Friday, January 06, 2012 @ 10:04:03 AM do you need the Darkness Returns trophy for this first? Bryjolf won't give me the final quest when I finished all the other 4 radiant quests, Do you have to do a set number in Riften too? I won't be able to do the Darkness trophy unless they patch the problem with Blackbriar not giving you the quest. | |
| Comment #9 by CyanideHappiness Sunday, January 08, 2012 @ 04:26:10 PM This doesn't have to be a grind if you know the right tactic. If you match up a Sweep Job from Vex and a Bedlam Job from Delvin in the same city you'll be done in no time as you'll steal items worth well more than 500 gold. | |
| Comment #10 by coldrush Monday, January 09, 2012 @ 01:36:09 AM You need to any 5 jobs in each city to get the special quest. After you complete the quest the person will become a fence in that city allowing you to buy/sell from them. | |
| Comment #11 by NoctisFFVs13 Sunday, January 15, 2012 @ 01:41:41 AM Need a confirmation on this, but the jobs you do in Darkness Returns reset when you are on "One With The Shadows" so don't bother doing any jobs while your on "Darkness Returns". | |
| Comment #12 by wotsup41 Monday, January 23, 2012 @ 07:30:17 PM dont sell your thief armor you need it later on and wont be able to finish the quest if you do | |
| Comment #13 by Tercel Tuesday, January 24, 2012 @ 06:15:22 AM I'm not at the end of this questline yet, (still hanging onto the skeleton key)do the quests I do still count towards this trophy? Can I get the radiant quests yet, or do I have to wait til the end? | |
| Comment #14 by StrawberryMacaw Wednesday, February 01, 2012 @ 05:31:56 AM If I'm reading all the info on this correctly, I can't get this trophy in my current game now. I had stored my Thieves Guild armour in a container in Honeyside (the Riften home), and I went back to check it was still there when I read about this trophy. Imagine my surprise when the container was empty. I remember exactly which container it was (the wardrobe by the bed) so there's no chance I've misplaced it or am checking in the wrong place; it was definately in there. I remember because I tried to put the whole set on my mannequin in the basement and that glitched (the head disappeared), so I just dumped it in that wardrobe. So please BE AWARE of this if you decide to try and store your guild armour anywhere. You have to be really careful and apparently it's better to just carry the | |
| Comment #15 by StrawberryMacaw Wednesday, February 01, 2012 @ 05:33:13 AM set around with you. | |
| Comment #16 by MechaNightmare Wednesday, February 01, 2012 @ 05:45:09 PM does missing two or more quests on one city affect the trophy? | |
| Comment #17 by TheDistortedOne Monday, February 06, 2012 @ 04:24:27 PM Yay I glitched this one. New game time. Now I have to hit level fifty and get this with a whole new character. | |
| Comment #18 by Oisterboy Tuesday, February 07, 2012 @ 01:02:30 PM For the record, I just did all of these without having done the main thieves guild quest line and it didn't pop. I'll come back and let you know when it pops up as I do my main quest line quests. | |
| Comment #19 by Oisterboy Tuesday, February 07, 2012 @ 07:15:22 PM I got the trophy right after I got my guildmaster robes. So, unfortunately, you'll have to do both quests again if you screwed up. It didn't ask me to hand in my old robes, although I did upgrade my hood when I got the chance. I've also heard theres a second set of robes in the training room or something similar - try that before you give up hope! | |
| Comment #20 by kialulu Friday, February 17, 2012 @ 02:53:17 AM The Thieves Guild Armor is given to you by Tonilia, the Thieves' Guild Fence, just after receiving the Thieves Guild quest Loud and Clear. (If you sold your Thieves Guild Armor) After becoming Guild Master there is a new set of Normal Guild Armor (not master) in the Training room of the Cistern. Armor is on top of the bookshelf, boots on the shelf below the armor, hood on the table in the far left corner of the room, gloves on a table to the left of the hood. | |
| Comment #21 by MichaelF97 Saturday, March 10, 2012 @ 06:14:22 AM Can someone please help me with this. Whenever I ask Vex or Delvin for jobs I never get any jobs for windhelm I'v completed the other 3 special jobs and I only need the special job for windhelm but they wont give me jobs for it. Is it glitched or something because iv done around 75 jobs so far >:(? | |
| Comment #22 by launchpad Friday, March 16, 2012 @ 11:59:08 AM Don't we also need all of the Stones of Barenziah for this? I am missing one and have gone through each location multiple times and even Reeking Cave. | |
| Comment #23 by Kuruz Sunday, March 18, 2012 @ 04:12:58 PM The Skyrim Wiki says this: The Thieves Guild Armor is given to you by Tonilia, the Thieves' Guild Fence, just after receiving the Thieves Guild quest Loud and Clear. Another full set can be found in the training room area (on the tables and cupboards) of the Cistern, which is useful if you sold your armor (not recommended) and are stuck on the Thieves Guild quest that require you exchange armor. If you sold both sets for some reason, you can find a pair of boots, gloves, and a hood around the beds. So even if you sold the original set you should be able to get the second one, and as long as you don't sell both you're good. | |
| Comment #24 by Raversticks69 Tuesday, April 03, 2012 @ 11:10:39 AM Everyone seems to have a problem with needing the guild armor but theyve already sold it...theres a second set of guild armor in the training room with all the chests. (that reloads after i time cuz i ended up selling that too -.-') | |
| Comment #25 by Greatwhite4275 Sunday, April 22, 2012 @ 05:06:35 PM I upgraded my thieves guild armour chestpiece but sold the rest. Do I need to pick up the rest? Also why do you need the armour to complete the quest? | |
| Comment #26 by AKlRA Sunday, April 22, 2012 @ 08:53:35 PM easy way to do this, its stil boring but... what the hell, my advice: - when you finish "Darkness Returns", go to Delvin, and before tou talk to him save, next and ask for bedlam jobs. Now take job, but only for one of this city: "Whiterun", "Markereth", "Whindhel" and "Solitude". Next go to Vex and take job sweep, and it must be job in the same city. Now just go to Whiterun, take 3 things and you stole things for more than 500 gold. Go back to guild and they will pay you. I have do 2-3 times job (from Vex and Delvin) on each city, and Delvin was giving me special job. Its a little boring to save and load, but... its easier this way then doing job for Rift (this city dosent count to special jobs) or 10 times in other city where i already have special job, isnt? Ps. Sorry for my english. | |
| Comment #27 by psfanboy123 Tuesday, May 01, 2012 @ 02:01:03 PM just grind it out you get money towards the 100,000 gold if you don't have it already and if you drop the guest it shos in your journal, you don't want that now do you?:) | |
| Comment #28 by coyoteduster Thursday, May 17, 2012 @ 06:03:20 PM The thing that makes this one such a grind is all the freakin' loading screens you have to sit through. | |
| Comment #29 by T4NK XVII Tuesday, May 22, 2012 @ 03:01:20 PM This trophy was very easy for me. Just took about 6 hours. I accepted Jobs from Delvin and Vex until i completed 5 Jobs at one of the 4 Cities, then did the Special Mission for each. I kept tally of each city on paper, so i knew what i still had to do. If they don't give you a Job in a City you still need to do a job in, don't reload the game, just talk to them and cancel it. Even accepting a job in the same category is usually a different job and city. Lastly, I strongly believe this trophy should have been a gold. It took so long alone! | |
| Comment #30 by pikavader Sunday, June 10, 2012 @ 02:14:51 PM good idea to keep the skeleton key and you get to learn the lading screens off by heart doing this one | |
| Comment #31 by WickedGamer25 Friday, June 22, 2012 @ 03:55:22 AM Concerning the missable part i to sold my armor but i managed to find the pieces laying around the hangout in the cistern I found the boots and gloves next to a bed and in a room connected to the cistern rtight next to where you find those in the room are some targets and chests you will find the hood and more gloves on the table in the corner and the armor on top of the cabinet! | |

| Comment #33 by TheRussion Sunday, June 24, 2012 @ 06:47:29 PM I just kept the skeleton key , and continues with the game ... i think this will be last of the trophies i will get on skyrim . lol | |
| Comment #34 by trophy eater 1 Monday, July 30, 2012 @ 11:18:18 AM I cant get any side quests for windhelm, i was wondering if it is anything to do with my imperial guards occupying its streets?? anyone else got this problem?? | |
| Comment #35 by Strategix424 Monday, July 30, 2012 @ 02:57:07 PM I gave up on this trophy a bit ago, and skyrim all together. recently i started skyrim up and it updated, there was a glitch where i couldnt do a mission preventing this. dont know it that helps anyone who is still looking to get platinum | |
| Comment #36 by Jamiegfinch Friday, September 14, 2012 @ 09:51:38 PM Just found out. I kept looking for that second piece of armor in the training room but it wasnt there. Then i did the game update and it was there. So, Bethesda must've realized the problem and added it in with the patch. | |
| Comment #37 by YasirHimself Wednesday, September 19, 2012 @ 12:02:06 PM Can someone just tell me how to do it , what is must do. What do i must do in every city ? | |
| Comment #38 by HellfaceQC Thursday, September 27, 2012 @ 01:47:27 PM You need too do 5 thieves guild quests in each major city. You get those quests from Delvin and Vex at the thieves guild headquarters. | |
| Comment #39 by gagespoop Tuesday, October 23, 2012 @ 01:05:36 PM I did all the quests for the thieves guild quest line but i havent got this trophy yet, do i have to do a bunch of the small mundane quests from delvin and vex for it? | |
| Comment #40 by tony26 Monday, December 31, 2012 @ 12:00:06 PM Yep exactly like the other guys have been saying: Solitude, Whiterun, Markarth & Windhelm - complete 5 different quests from Delvin and Vex for each of the cities and then Delvin will give you the special quest for that city. Complete all 4 and you will get to be guild master and the trophy pops (once you get your guild masters armor from Tonilia. | |
| Comment #41 by NemoEnleft Tuesday, January 15, 2013 @ 09:38:26 AM This was such a grind | |
| Comment #42 by KillarKat1000 Thursday, January 24, 2013 @ 01:38:15 AM I agree, this one is really going to drag... | |
| Comment #43 by KillarKat1000 Saturday, January 26, 2013 @ 01:21:13 PM This trophy is a day of your life you won't get back, however the plat will be well worth the struggle... | |
| Comment #44 by Mudweiser Sunday, February 03, 2013 @ 04:12:51 PM well I dont remember selling my theives armor, but have no idea where I might have stashed it. Since I have to start a new game due to the Oblivion trophy glitch guess now is a good time. | |
