This can also be done if the enemy where the blue swirl forms and spits out red triangles that chase you (after killing the first nuke). Its a little harder then the method shown here, because they eventually catch up with you and sometimes more spawn, but if you kite them for long enough and make sure you get rid of the rocks its ok.

I did it this way coz the easier way wasnt spawning :(.
