Guide By: Conceptfly There are 51 Trophies that can be earned in this title.

![]() | Corona Obsidionalis
| Earn all available Trophies for Section 8 | |||
Unlocking all other trophies will net you this. If you have followed my guide you will get this after unlocking Top Brass.
![]() | With All Due Haste
| Capture the Missile Silo on 'Nuclear Dawn' in under 8 minutes on hard difficulty | |||
I did this one naturally during my first play-through of the campaign. As with all of the other missions, just run as soon as possible to the next place you are supposed to be without worrying about killing anyone unnecessarily. Run, hack, run, hack.
| |||
![]() | Lightning Assult
| Capture the Munitions Facility in Blackstone Marsh within 4 minutes of hacking the Heavy | |||
Difficulty does not matter, but if you do not get this on hard simply come back to it after you have completed the short campaign on easy. The key here is to not bother with killing anyone. Just keep pressing
when it becomes available and get to the munitions facility to hack it as quickly as possible.
![]() | Mission Accomplished
| Complete the campaign on any difficulty | |||
See Over Achiever.
| |||
![]() | Over Achiever | ||
| Complete the campaign on hard difficulty | |||
After you beat the eight campaign levels on hard this will unlock. I recommend starting on hard due to the relative ease of the game. You never have to worry about continuing, as you have unlimited lives. There are only two tricky parts in the game. The first is when you have to escort the tank, in which clearing the turrets ahead of time proves worthwhile. Then make sure that you have the healing wrench as an accessory. Simply follow right behind it healing it and it should make it. If you want more healing power you can always change your specialties (passive modules: See Passive Aggressive for more details) to make your healing more powerful and last longer. Aside from that the final boss can take a while. Just shoot the engineers right away before they heal him. Spawn behind a rock each time, then throw det packs (remote-control grenade) in his path towards you. Shoot him with the rocket launcher to get his attention, and explode the det packs as he passes over them. After you die, do it again until he’s dead.
| |||
![]() | To the Delphi Main
| Complete the first half of the campaign on any difficulty | |||
You will get this after beating the fourth mission on any difficulty.
![]() | First Drop | ||
| Complete the first mission of the campaign on any difficulty | |||
You will unlock this trophy after the fight against the machine. Don’t worry about dying as you have as many lives as you need on every difficulty. Rush through the level hacking each thing up to that point, while getting used to the controls. I recommend starting straight away on hard difficulty due to the unlimited lives, and the overall ease of the campaign. For the final boss fight just fly up to the ledge above where you start after the cut-scene. As he goes up the stairs after you fly back down. Change your passive module to have the repair wrench. Use the rocket launcher to kill him quickly.
| |||
![]() | You're Doing It Right
| Finish in first place on the winning team in a ranked match | |||
This will happen naturally within the boosting sessions. If for some reason one person keeps winning and you are above level 40, then just make sure he’s the first one to get set up with supply depots and a rocket turret hitting it (see Top Brass).
![]() | Badge Expert | ||
| Earn each badge in ranked matches | |||
You must earn each of the following in ranked matches (requires four human players to qualify as ranked) to earn this trophy. Just work down the list and do the next one on the list. Switch off which team is going for badges, and which one is dying for the team going for the badges. If done correctly you should be able to boost all of these along with all ranked trophies in the game in less than 8-10 hours for all four of you. For all but one of the badges you should set the custom match to medium difficulty (which makes killing VIP’s and such easier), and with no bots, 8 players. For one of the matches (total) set it to 12 players with bots balanced, and work on killing all of the bots (not each other). Once you can get the heavy do so. All four of you should be in the top two (three for the badge). You can see which badges you have earned in the dropship, however, there is a delay, and it says that I don’t have one of them even though it was the last one I needed for this trophy.
![]() | Feat Expert | ||
| Earn each feat in ranked matches | |||
Most of these will happen while going for other trophies or badges. I put a description on the few that you will need to focus on. Refer to Badge Expert description for what team A and team B refer to. These are checkable as well in your dropship:

![]() | Top Brass | ||
| Reach level 50 in ranked matches | |||
After getting all badges, feats and other trophies that can be done ranked, you will want to boost to get to level 50. The best way that my team (Half_Sober, Zaibas, and leemm… special thanks to all of you for developing this system with me) figured out how to boost was to start on a large four CP map on a dedicated server, on medium difficulty with no bots. We would all burn in at an agreed area away from the CPs and simply kill each other until we had enough money for a bunch of supply depots (9 total for your team) and one rocket turret to shoot the other team’s supply depots. It’s important to put the supply depots as close as possible together so all of them can heal the damage from the rockets. At that point you just heal manually a supply depot as well. Do this without capturing any of the CP’s. What this does is keeps giving you xp very, very quickly without gaining points that lead to the match ending. Doing this we were able to go from level 40 to level 50 in about 2 hours time. You may consider putting some AA turrets up around the area so you can’t get too surprised when a random player attempts to sabotage your set-up.
![]() | Rising Star | ||
| Reach level 25 in ranked matches | |||
You will get this while on your badge quest. Once you reach level 25 this trophy will unlock.
![]() | Ding! | ||
| Reach level 5 in ranked matches | |||
You will get this on your first boosting session round as team A, or as you reach level 5.
![]() | Instant Gratification
| Win an instant action game | |||
Start an instant action game and win. I recommend doing this along with Army of One on the map with “Skyhook” in the name. See Army of One for more details.
![]() | Plays Well with Others
| Win a ranked match | |||
Win a ranked match… | |||
![]() | Boom Goes the Dynamite
| Kill 3 players at once with explosions | |||
The easiest way to get this is using det packs. Using all five at once still counts for this. It is very easy to boost, even when you only have four total boosters. At some point there will be a random player that joins your game. When this happens simply have one person on the random’s team and all three others on the second team. Have them all stand still while you throw all five det packs on them. After that player gets it you can have the next player join the random’s team, while the original player joins the other two (by going to spectator mode, then after a few seconds join).
![]() | Bane of the Immobile
| Destroy 30 turrets | |||
This will accumulate through all types of play. Destroy a cumulative total of 30 turrets. Just use a rocket launcher to get the rest of them that you didn’t destroy in swarm. All turrets that can shoot you count, so during your Top Brass boost you can have the other team keep spawning AA turrets for you to destroy… or you could do this offline if you want it to take longer.
![]() | Blades 'n 'Nades | ||
| Kill 5 players in a row with only Grenades and Knives in a ranked match | |||
This does not have to be in one life, although it does have to be in one round. I would recommend boosting this along with the Specialist badge.
![]() | Blood Lust | ||
| Kill 100 players in ranked matches | |||
Just as it says… after 100 kills while ranked you will get this. Naturally comes while going for Badge Expert. Note: This glitched for both Half_Sober and I and unlocked after our first kill online.
![]() | Test Drive | ||
| Get a kill with every vehicle weapon | |||
Three vehicles, eight total weapons that you need to kill with. You can easily boost these kills while going for the "Impact Killer" feat with the heavy, Steam Roll trophy with the tank, and Excessive Celebration trophy with the Heavy. For the Convoy just get in during a convoy DCM and kill an enemy while in both seats. This can be done in any game mode online or offline. Press
![]() | Excessive Celebration
| Perform a fatality with the Heavy Armor | |||
While in a heavy, get close to an enemy and press
![]() | Steamroll | ||
| Kill a player by crushing them with a Tank | |||
All you have to do for this trophy is to drive a tank into an enemy to crush them against an object such as a tree or a building. You have to make sure you don’t hit them hard enough to kill them from the impact of the tank.
![]() | This Is My Rifle | ||
| Kill 30 players with an Assault Rifle | |||
This will accumulate in all game modes, and this is a good weapon to use most of the time for close combat (especially after the level 25 upgrade where the bullets will travel through the shield easier). Simply kill an accumulative of 30 players with this gun.
![]() | Ain't Got Time to Bleed
| Kill 30 players with a Machine Gun | |||
This will accumulate in all game modes, and is a good weapon to use most of the time for close combat up to level 25. Kill 30 players offline or online total (not in one session) to unlock this trophy.
![]() | Feeling Lucky? | ||
| Kill 30 players with a Pistol | |||
This will accumulate through all play modes, but the pistol is not the best weapon so boosting the kills is easiest. I got them while doing swarm missions, but would have been easier to just boost them. After 30 kills total this trophy will unlock.
![]() | Ventilator | ||
| Kill 30 players with a Shotgun | |||
This is the worst gun in the game. Although it is possible to do in other game modes (I unlocked it while doing swarm missions) I would recommend boosting this. You have to be so incredibly close to the target to even hit them. Getting 30 kills accumulative in all play modes will unlock this.
![]() | It's a Legitimate Strategy
| Kill 30 players with a Sniper rifle | |||
This is the best long range weapon in the game, and if you are following my strategies you will unlock this very quickly during a swarm mission. After 30 accumulative kills this will unlock.
![]() | Repo Man | ||
| Destroy 30 vehicles | |||
This is accumulative over all game modes, although you shouldn’t have to work for this if following my road map until the Top Brass boosts. Just have the other team spawn heavies until you get this. Destroying 30 vehicles (heavy, convoy, tank) will net you this trophy.
![]() | Improvised Orbital Cannon
| Kill an enemy player by dropping a deployable on them | |||
This can be done on any play mode, but I would recommend boosting this while going for Badge Expert. Simply have the other team member stand still while you order a deployable on them. It must be a deployable though, as vehicles do not work for this.
![]() | Silent but Deadly
| Deploy a sensor array within 50m of enemy CP | |||
Have the other team capture a CP, then destroy their AA turret and order the deployment of a sensor array as close to the CP as possible.
![]() | Drop It Like It's Hot
| Kill someone by dropping on them | |||
Look for the red up-side-down triangle on the map while burning in, and attempt to land on it. I unlocked this on accident when dropping near my captured CP when an enemy was attempting to get near it. It can be boosted very easily, however. Simply pick a spot to drop, and do not hit the air brakes at all. Have the other team kill you, then stand where you landed. Now if you don’t move your burn in spot you should land right on them.
![]() | Goal Oriented | ||
| Participate in all DCMs in the game successfully | |||
DCM’s are side quests that give you a bit of xp and extra points for the 1000 needed to win the match. For this trophy you will need to complete each DCM successfully, of you can check how many you have done (not which one you are missing) in your dropship under trophies. While in game you can actually control which DCM is going to come next by fulfilling the required actions stated on the DCM screen. To view this press
![]() | Cutting to the Chase
| Win a ranked match in under 14 minutes | |||
Very simple to boost. Do this during your ranked boosts. Simply agree on a place to meet after the team that’s going to win hacks all four CP’s, and kill the non-winning team until you have enough money to set up one AA turret each. Then have the non-winning team burn in each time on your AA turret. This method takes just over five minutes to win the match.
![]() | Adaptable | ||
| Particpate in a successful DCM | |||
This will probably pop before you realize what a DCM is during one of your swarm missions. This will happen when going for Goal Oriented. All of the DCM’s are needed as part of Badge Expert in ranked matches as well. A DCM is a side mission that gives points to the winning team during a swarm or normal ranked session. See Badge Expert for more details on DCM’s.
![]() | Swatting at Flies
| Destroy a non-friendly repair drone | |||
This trophy will come quickly, as all that is required is to shoot a flying drone that’s repairing an enemies damaged turret, supply depot, sensor array, etc.
![]() | Recession Proof | ||
| Purchase one of every vehicle and deployable | |||
Throughout your time playing Section 8 you just need to order each item possible at least once. To do this press
![]() | Passive Aggressive
| Customize passive modules for one loadout in game | |||
This can be done before spawning or at a supply depot. Go to “customize loadouts” instead of picking one of the soldier weapon types. Then click on “passive module” which will bring up the different things you can increase in power (shield, armor, repair, etc.). Change one or more of these, then use that custom loadout. This can be done at any time, during any venue.
![]() | Shop 'til You Drop
| Change loadouts 3 times | |||
This can be done before spawning or at a supply depot. Go to “customize loadouts” instead of picking one of the soldier weapon types. Change what type of weapon you have three times in a game. This can be done in a swarm or online match.
![]() | Desensitization
| Destroy 10 Sensor Arrays or Micro Sensors in ranked matches | |||
Destroy 10 accumulative in ranked matches. If boosting have the other team heal the sensor arrays quickly, and do this in combination with your Shroud, Clear Skies and Circumvent Defenses badges.
![]() | Ringleader | ||
| Invite 10 players into your squad (and have them accept) in multiplayer | |||
Start a private match with bots (non swarm is best). Press
![]() | Blitzkrieg | ||
| Capture 2 Control Points within 3 minutes in a ranked match | |||
Hack one CP successfully, then run
![]() | Mr. Fixit | ||
| Get 100 Repairs | |||
This is accumulative in all venues, and will probably unlock during your swarm missions if following my road map.
![]() | Plow the Road | ||
| Perform 5 kills in a round using overdrive | |||
Run in a direction by pressing
![]() | Revenge of the Falling
| Drop kill an enemy Anti-Air Turret | |||
Start a private match with bots (non swarm is best). Wait until the other team captures a CP. Go to and shoot an enemy anti-air turret until it is almost destroyed. Use a rocket launcher or 5 det packs to kill yourself (rocket launcher aimed at the ground, but not right next to turret). Spawn just outside the enemy’s area, and just as you hit the middle of the yellow bar with your air-brake, press
![]() | Army of One | ||
| Win a complete game of One Man Army | |||
You should note that it doesn’t ask for a specific difficulty, so doing this on trivial difficulty will be your best bet for an easy trophy. Make sure that it says “One Man Army” instead of swarm, or no bots (for instance). Use the map with “Skyhook” in the name, and capture the north eastern base. Hold it by setting det packs on the elevator (the same strategy as Super Swarm on Insane difficulty). Set up the double supply depots and the three machine guns (all as close to each other as possible so they won’t be able to destroy them). Setting up anti-air turrets to the North and East of the CP makes more of the spawning of enemies come from the south. This allows you to use your sniper rifle against them. Keep the two accessories as det packs and the healing wrench. I prefer the machine gun and sniper as the two weapons.
![]() | Insanity Defense
| Win a complete game of Super Swarm on Insane difficulty | |||
Use a co-op partner for this, as the AI is a bozo on insane difficulty. Use the map with “Skyhook” in it, and start by having both of you capture the base on the top right. Don’t ever leave this base! Have one player stay near the elevator while throwing all five det packs on it. Detonate right as they appear, killing them with just a small amount of damage to the supply depot that is there. Keep throwing the det packs out, only healing the supply depot when needed (to keep supplying you). The other player can work on using the sniper rifle against the enemies coming towards you. When you get enough money, put two supply depots next to each other by the computer, and two (2nd player) by the opening on the left (with enough room for machine guns in front of them. Put three machine guns in front of each. I would not recommend using a rocket turret here as the rockets will often hit the guard rail and blow up your other stuff. This is you two versus six good bots… well they’ll keep attempting to go up the elevator but still.
| |||
![]() | Immortal Sovereign
| Win a complete game of Swarm without dying | |||
During one of your swarm matches you just need to keep alive for the whole match. I did this numerous times during my 11 swarms, so if your strategy is good enough this won’t be an issue. Just make sure that you stay at the first base that you capture until you have a good enough defense that your mini guns do most of the killing. Using the repair tool accessory is vital. This will only work on swarm; not super swarm, but can be done on trivial difficulty if you don't pull it off on hard. If you tend to be the type of player that goes straight towards the enemy, you probably should stay at that first base with a friend at the front lines, even after you get all of your mini guns set up.
![]() | Swarming Behavior
| Win a game of Super Swarm on all maps | |||
This trophy can be done on the easiest setting (trivial), and really does not need to be boosted. It is basically 2 against 6 (you being on the two side). It will go much faster in a boost, however, and will prepare you for the one you need to do on insane difficulty. I would recommend having one person host, while starting at the top of the list of maps. You only have to do each “location” once, meaning you don’t have to do all three maps for one location. That being said, always choose the locations with the fewest bases when possible. I would suggest switching the difficulty on the map with the name “Skyhook” in it since this is the easiest map to beat on insane difficulty. See Insanity Defense for more details.
| |||
![]() | For the Swarm | ||
| Win a game of Swarm on Hard difficulty on all maps | |||
I highly recommend doing this with 2 co-op partners. All you have to do is keep one base until you have enough money to spend on two supply depots (to heal each other and everything else you put down), as well as three machine gun turrets for a defense. While two of you are holding down one base the third can go hack a second. We got good enough to generally take all of the bases available, never worrying about the DCM’s. You generally just need two CP’s to get more points than the other team, since you will get points for kills as well.
