Introduction:
They Stole Max's Brain returns to a more traditional story progression style after the movie reel swapping of Episode 2, and for that the game is fairly straightforward when it comes to trophy completion. It once again progresses through four acts, the end of each act being marked by receiving one of the four story related trophies. You should easily be able to pick them all up, along with the non-story related trophies, on one playthrough, even without the guide, just by checking over the trophy titles and descriptions before starting and keeping them in mind as you play. Furthermore, the episode itself is short, so going back for a second playthrough to mop up if necessary will not take that long. Due to this, I would recommend not using any guides on your first run, as figuring out all the puzzles on your own has always been the spirit of these kind of adventure games. This is especially true for the walkthrough I have written here, as I wrote it to get you from the start to the end with all 10 of the trophies under your belt, but you will miss a lot of funny references and dialogs if you use it.

The only thing to watch out for are the missable trophies. Aside from the four that are tied to story events, all of them can be missed. They are as follows:

Bad Cop/Sad Cop
The Grand Tour
Blimp's Eye View
Tweenage Angst
Drop a Dime
Rhinoplastastic

This is because as you complete the story, you will lose and/or use required items, characters will become unavailable, or the plot moves you along to a new location while leaving old locations inaccessible. But again, just looking at their descriptions alone and keeping them in mind should make them all quite easy to pick up, and if not, a second playthrough to mop up.

Step 1:
Play the story. You will pick up the four plot related trophies, and will probably have little trouble getting most of the rest. Again, I would recommend not using a guide for this playthrough, but if all you're looking for is a set of quick trophies, go ahead and use the guide to knock them all out in one go.

Step 2:
If you happened to miss any of the six missable trophies in your first playthrough, play the game again to mop up. If you need this step, it will not take long seeing as how you already know how to advance the plot this time. However, if you want to get through as fast as possible while picking up any trophies you missed, this is a good time to check out the walkthrough. Also, you may use to skip any dialog you don't want to hear again.

This trophy is awarded for completing Act 2. It is story related and cannot be missed. If you get stuck, see "Reunited (And it Feels So Good)".

All Hail Sammun-Mak

This trophy is awarded for completing Act 3. It is story related and cannot be missed. If you get stuck, see "Reunited (And it Feels So Good)".

Reunited (And it Feels So Good)

This trophy is awarded for completing Act 4. It is story related and cannot be missed. If you get stuck, see my walkthrough which can be found here.

Bad Cop/Sad Cop
Threaten and 'Noir' everyone you meet on the street in Act 1

There are three people on the street you will interact with in Act 1: a space ape, Frankie the rat, and a confused tourist. Simply select the "Noir" (in the upper left) and "Threaten" (bottom) dialog options with each of them as they try to tell you their stories.

You will lose your chance for this trophy once you proceed to Act 2.

The Grand Tour
Explore the museum completely

In Act 2, you will find a "tour headset" on display in the bottom right corner of the main room. Take this, and then examine tour controller in your inventory with . Sam will pull out a remote with 12 buttons on it. Select all 12 buttons to listen to the tour, and the trophy will unlock shortly after you listen to the last part of the tour. You may skip the dialog of the tour with if you wish to speed this up slightly.

You can still unlock this trophy after you have placed the tour headset on Sal, but once you proceed to Act 3 you will have lost your chance.

Blimp's Eye View
Turn into the Hindenburg in every room and get a bird's eye view of the environment

In Act 2, you will first have to find a brain to put in Max's body. After that is done, return to the main room of the museum (the one you were in when you started Act 2), and use the Rhinoplasty on the picture of the Hindenburg. You can find it on the left side of the room, it will have reddish/orange sparkles around it, making it easy to find. Then simply transform into the Hindenburg (select your Rhinoplasty and press when the Hindenburg is shown on it) in each of the three rooms: the main room where you found the picture of the Hindenburg, the Egypt exhibit room, and the office (you must teleport to reach it).

You will lose your chance for this trophy once you proceed to Act 3.

Tweenage Angst
Have Sammunmak banish every possible object in Act 3

In Act 3, travel to the museum and take a left down the isle to the buffet table. Examine the pile of corn dogs, and Sammunmak will banish a camera. From there, you need to use the Rhinoplasty to transform Max's brain into three other items, then examine the corn dog pile again to have Sammunmak banish the item Max has become. The items and their locations are as follows:

Storm Cloud: Use the Rhinoplasty on the green "big news!" display in the Gift Vault.

Credit Card: Use the Rhinoplasty on the credit card sign next to Stinky's diner on Straight & Narrow.

Toaster: Use the Rhinoplasty on the toaster sign in the shop window in the "Frankie the Rat" area.

You will lose your chance for this trophy once you proceed to Act 4.

Drop a Dime
Teleport to every phone in the museum

In Act 2, you will first have to find a brain to put in Max's body. After that, you will need to examine one of the three courtesy phones in the museum in order to obtain the phone numbers so that you may teleport. There are two in the main area of the museum: one by the information desk in the bottom right corner, and one next to the door to the planetarium. There is a third phone in the Egypt exhibit next to the exit. After you have the numbers, simply teleport all four locations and the trophy will unlock.

You will lose your chance for this trophy once you proceed to Act 3.

Rhinoplastastic
Turned into every possible object

This requires you to use the Rhinoplasty to transform into seven different items between Acts 2 and 3. There are four items in Act 2, and three items in Act 3. The items and their locations are as follows:

Act 2

Skull: In the main room of the museum, next to Sal.

Hindenburg: In the main room of the museum, on the right side of the room among the stairs.

Pyramid: In the Egypt exhibit of the museum, on the wall next to the brain jar.

City: In the office of the museum, on the desk.

Act 3

Credit Card: Use the Rhinoplasty on the credit card sign next to Stinky's diner on Straight & Narrow.

Storm Cloud: Use the Rhinoplasty on the green "big news!" display in the Gift Vault.

Toaster: Use the Rhinoplasty on the toaster sign in the shop window in the "Frankie the Rat" area.

If you miss any of the items in either chapter, you will lose your chance at this trophy.
