This is one of the harder guitarcade games, however, it's one of the few that may actually improve your skills. You can pick any scale and key you want. Special about this game is that you have four different combos that helps increasing your score; the regular mission-combo, each scale has a combo from x1-x3 based on the difficulty of the scale, your combo will increase each time you change key mid-game (drive of the highway) and you will also get more points per consecutive hit. The game is about you driving from the cops and by hitting notes in a scale of your choice, you will progress through the traffic. One mistake and you are out. Not too far into the game you have the option of changing key, these will also appear later in your run and always try to hit them as they will increase your combo and slow down the speed.

You shouldn’t attempt this until you have a "mission-combo" of x5. This is the game where playing bass helps out the most. By choosing bass, you cut off a third of the scale. I recommend choosing a scale with an x2 multiplier, these are not too hard. Personally, I picked the blues scale, but if you are familiar with any of the x3 scales, then that will definitely be the best. Simply play the scale until you have the option to change key and drive off to the new highway. You want to change key at least two times, if you have kept your combo you should get it before the third key-change opportunity.

If you have a capo, you can use it to your advantage. When playing in for example the key of A, set the capo on the 5th (A) fret and then you will have one less fret to worry about. By doing this you can also play the x3-scales and always have a finger on each fret. When you change key mid-game, you have enough time to move the capo or down, no problem. Using a capo can also confuse you. When the game tells you to play on the 5th fret (e.g "A") you must play an open string. It can either be very helpful or just confusing, it all depends on you.
