Road Map:
Resident Evil 5 has an assortment of trophies available. There are trophies for completing each section of the game, completing the whole game on the various difficulty settings, kill xx number of enemies with , and other various ones that include special actions with or without your partner. It should also be mentioned that any of these trophies can be gotten by playing solo or with someone in co-op.

There are 16 trophies you will get just by playing the game. Depending on which difficulty you complete the game on, you’ll receive an additional 1-3 trophies on your first completion. After the main game is complete, you can choose which chapter you want to play so you can complete anything you left fairly easily.

If you want the easiest method for getting all trophies, I recommend your first playthrough on Amateur or Normal. If you are pressed for time or want to get the platinum in the quickest manner, you’ll want to start on Veteran. Personally, I chose not to so I could just play the game straight through without worrying about trophies. This made it much more enjoyable for me.

Once the game is complete, I recommend replaying various chapter sections and getting your overall time for completion below 5 hours. You can see your total time and the specific chapter section time in the Chapter Select menu. Getting below 5 hours unlocks the Infinite Rocket Launcher. This makes Veteran and Professional difficulties much simpler. At the same time, you should have enough points to exchange for infinite ammo for at least one gun. I was able to get a handgun and shotgun on my first completion. Having this and rushing through to get your times down will likely give you an “S” ranking. You will need to have an “S” ranking on every chapter to unlock one of the last figurines.

You’ll have to farm money to get enough to upgrade all your weapons. This is unavoidable. There is an egg trading technique that could give you large amounts of money; however I chose to do this legitly. More details in the trophy description for “Take It to the Max.”

You’ll need exchange points to trade in for the figurines. I found no need to farm exchange points. By playing through to beat the game, lower my times for the Rocket Launcher, and get through the higher difficulties, I had more than enough points for all the figurines. You’ll likely need to farm them if you want infinite ammo for all weapons though.

Lastly, you’ll need to wrap up any random trophies you may not have. See their descriptions for tips on where to get it and how to do them. Good luck.

DLC:  Versus Pack

- Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 4/10

- Online: 7 3
- Approximate Time To Complete: 10-15 hours
- Minimum Number of Playthroughs Required: N/A
- Missable Trophies: None
- Difficulty Affects Trophies: No
- Glitched Trophies: None

All of these trophies must be earned online and you will need a partner in order to obtain four of them. Most are simply time-consuming rather than difficult however there are a few which may give you a few problems, the details of which are listed below in the trophy guide. Because this is an online DLC, there isn’t really a set way of approaching it so you can obtain these trophies in any order that you wish.

[PS3T Would like to Thank Dark_Phantom_89 for this Roadmap]

Complete all chapters on Amateur.

Soldier
Complete all chapters on Normal.

Beat the game on Normal difficulty. You can get this trophy by beating the game on a higher difficulty as well.

Veteran
Complete all chapters on Veteran. (1)

Beat the game on the Veteran difficulty. Beating the game on this mode will unlock the Professional difficulty.

Egg Hunt
Find all 4 types of eggs. (8)

There are 4 types of eggs in the game: white, brown, gold and rotten. You have to have all 4 of them in your inventory to get this trophy so do not use or sell them if you only have 1. The white, brown and gold eggs can be found on Chicken Island in Chapter 3-1. This is the island in the middle of the map at the start. Rotten eggs can be dropped by Majini or Leapers in the later half of the game.

All Dressed Up
Purchase all available alternative costumes in Bonus Features.

There are 4 total costumes to purchase: 2 for Chris and 2 for Sheva. You must complete the game on any difficulty to unlock the first 2. The last two require you to obtain 25 and 30 BSAA emblems to unlock. All costumes cost 0 exchange points.

Stockpile
Obtain all available weapons.

Some weapons can be found for free throughout the game while others have to be bought. Thanks to iron_granny69 for the list of weapon locations: Weapon and treasure locations - PS3Trophies.org. Use that thread for specifics of where in a chapter to find the weapon.

Here are the lists of what is required to have in your inventory. Included is the location (free) and price in the store:

Handguns (HG):
M92F – Given it free near beginning of game. Bought for $2,000.

Proximity Bomb – Various locations or bought for $1,500.
Hand Grenade – Various locations.
Incendiary Grenade – Various locations.
Flash Grenade – Various locations.

Take It to the Max
Completely upgrade all weapons. (4)

This trophy will take quite some time. You have to completely upgrade each and every weapon that you are able to upgrade. Every weapon can be upgraded except for the Longbow, Stun Rod, Gatling Gun, Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher and the various bombs/grenades.

You can choose to do the “egg duplication” which can be done here: Egg Duplication Thread - PS3Trophies.org.

I chose not to boost at all and found the best area to farm is the U-shaped hallway in Chapter 5-2. It takes no time to get there and once you complete the hallway, you can save and do it all over again as you will start at the beginning of the hallway. What you are doing here is killing many Lickers and you should get anywhere from 3-5 treasures from them. Each one will sell for $2,500. It should take about 1 minute to do a run so it is decent money for the time spent.

They Belong in a Museum
Obtain all treasures in the game.

There are a total of 50 treasures to be found in the game. Many of them can be found multiple places throughout the game. You also can feel free to sell off all treasures as soon as you find them as it still keeps them in your collection.

Thanks to iron_granny69 for the list (2nd half of the post): Weapon and treasure locations - PS3Trophies.org.

Badge of Honor
Find all the BSAA emblems.

There are 30 emblems in total throughout the game. In the Chapter Select you can see how many are left in each Chapter so this really isn’t that difficult to complete.

Here is a link to a photo and text walkthrough posted by iron_granny69: BSAA Emblem Guide With Pictures - PS3Trophies.org

Thanks to Gamergirlmissmir2 for this video.

They're ACTION Figures!
Collect all the figurines. (2)

First of all, to buy these figurines you’ll need to go to Bonus Features and buy them all with exchange points. Exchange points are rewarded after completing Chapters (based on rank) or by playing Mercenaries. Each figurine costs 500 points and there are a total of 46 figurines to purchase. I believe the first 2 are free so that means you’ll need a total of 22,000 exchange points.

You’ll also have to get an “S” ranking on all chapters in the game to unlock 1 figurine.

A Friend in Need
Save partner 10 times when HELP is displayed.

HELP will show up on the screen when your partner is attacked and grabbed. Quickly get to your partner and press (O). You’ll need to do this 10 times over the course of playing to get this trophy. You can take away your partners weapon to increase the likelihood of needing help.

Lifeguard
Save partner 10 times when DYING is displayed.

DYING will show up on the screen when your partner has taken a large hit or accumulated too much damage. Quickly get to your partner and press (O). You’ll need to do this 10 times over the course of playing to get this trophy. Playing on a harder difficulty and taking away your partners weapons can accelerate getting this trophy. I didn’t need to do either though as Sheva will likely get hurt enough playing normally.

Exploding Heads
Pull off 20 headshots.

No need to play specifically to get this trophy. You’ll easily get 20 headshots while playing through the game.

A Cut Above
Defeat 5 enemies with the Knife. (3)

To use the knife, hold (L2) then press (R1) to swing the knife. You’ll need to get the killing slash on 5 enemies to get this trophy. I believe that snakes and spiders on the wall count as kills with the knife as well.

Cattle Prod
Defeat 30 enemies with the Stun rod.

You can buy the Stun Rod from the shop for $3,000 after completing Chapter 2-3. You can get these 30 kills anywhere however the best place I found is Chapter 1-1 when you first face a group of Majini. This is after jumping through the window. Just stand in the alley and kill them until the trophy pops up.

Crowd Control
Defeat 30 enemies with the Gatling gun.

You can buy the Gatling Gun from the shop for $50,000 after you have fully upgraded the VZ61. Go to the same spot in Chapter 1-1 (see Cattle Prod) and get 30 kills.

Bull's-eye
Defeat 30 enemies with the Longbow. (2)

You can buy the Longbow from the shop for $50,000 after you have fully upgraded the S75. Go to the same spot in Chapter 1-1 (see Cattle Prod) and get 30 kills.

*You can only use this weapon while playing as Sheva.

Get Physical
Defeat 20 enemies with physical attacks.

After shooting an enemy in certain areas of the body, you’ll be prompted with a command by pressing the (Square) button if close enough. You have to actually defeat 20 enemies with a physical attack, not just hit them 20 times. You’ll likely get this by completing the game without trying specifically to get this. Physical attacks are useful to conserve ammo and are actually quite damaging.

The Works
Chain the maximum number of combos together in one go. (2)

This consists of shooting an enemy to make it stumble (flash grenade works too) and then hitting it with a physical attack. Sheva needs to then immediately hit the enemy with another physical attack. After she hits it, you’ll need to end the combo with one more physical attack yourself. Basically you’ll need Sheva close to you and once you hit (Square) for the physical attack, keep on hitting (Square). With any luck you’ll get it to work right. It’s much easier with another human player playing with you as Sheva however I got mine playing with the AI so it is possible.

I personally got this in Chapter 6-1 when I went up against the Fat Majini somewhat near the beginning. Here is a video from roosterteeth showing another spot to get this trophy at.

Lead Aspirin
Defeat a Majini with a headshot while it's jumping.

This can be done anywhere in the game where a majini will be jumping. The easiest place to do this may be Chapter 3-2 at the beginning. If you fail to get it, restart and try again.

Thanks to RE4freak4 for the video.

*Tip by olsen77: In Chapter 1-1 after the Executioner breaks through the gate, if you climb on top of the bus it will force the Majini to jump up to you.

Fireworks
Shoot an enemy Molotov cocktail, dynamite stick, or hand grenade.

You’ll encounter many enemies that are carrying one of these or attempting to throw one at you. I personally got it in Chapter 2-1 once you get out of the shipping container area. There will be one Majini up on a container in the area that has a Molotov cocktail. Take aim and shoot it in his hand. This is the area with a couple dogs and a Fat Majini as well.

Be the Knife
Deflect a bow gun arrow with your knife. (2)

This can be somewhat troublesome. You have to get the knife blade at just the right angle and swing the knife at the right time to hit the arrow shot at you. Take away your partners weapon as she would always kill the enemy before I could attempt the trophy. I don’t think there is any set area that’s best to attempt this. I got mine in the beginning of Chapter 2-1.

Thanks to RE4freak4 for the video.

Meat Shower
Defeat 3 Majini with one grenade or proximity bomb.

There are tons of opportunities for this trophy throughout the game. If you don’t find yourself easily getting this at any time, try Chapter 1-1. After you jump out the window you will be attacked by a group of Majini. This is the same area I suggest for the Stun Rod, Gatling Gun and Longbow kills. Just throw a hand grenade into the group and you should have the trophy.

Go into the Light
Defeat 2 enemies with one flash grenade. (2)

Go to Chapter 4-1 and continue until the cutscene that shows the (small spider-like enemies) coming up out of the ground. Throw a flash grenade and it will kill all of them.

Ride the Lightning
Defeat a Majini using the electric current from a transformer. (3)

The first chance of getting this is during the scene with the Executioner and the waves of Majini in Chapter 1-1. The transformer is up on a pole between the house you start in and the exit gate. Run past the transformer, turn around and shoot it once to knock in on the ground. You just need to wait for a Majini to be near it and then shoot it again to make it electrocute anything close.

Thanks to richbitch999 for this video.

Stop, Drop, & Roll
Defeat 3 Majini at once by setting oil canisters on fire.

These canisters look like the ones in the trophy icon. These will not explode but rather erupt with a small area of flames on the ground. There are some of these in Chapter 1-1 during the scene with the Executioner. It should be fairly easy to get a small group of enemies together and set them on fire.

Baptism by Fire
Defeat 3 Majini at once with a drum or gas tank explosion.

These drums look exactly like the trophy icon. These do not catch on fire but instead blow up immediately. There are drums like this all throughout the game but I remember getting it in Chapter 2-1 right after the truck scene. There are several drums along the bridge and many Majini are coming toward you. It’s pretty easy to set up a shot here.

Masters of Removing
Work together to save someone special.

This is done at the end of Chapter 5-3. I won’t use the name of the “someone special” in an attempt to not ruin anything. You’ll basically want to have Sheva grab her from behind while you attempt to rip the device off. I would recommend you to shoot the device at least once while she is being held to damage it some. Otherwise you could be trying to rip it off for quite some time.

There are two possibilities: rip it off while she is standing up or rip it off when she is on the ground. You have to rip it off while she is STANDING UP. It’s the only way it will count. It is this reason that I don’t recommend you shoot the device many times. Once you shoot it she will be on the ground and you do not want to rip it off at this point.

Just have Sheva restrain her over and over and each time you need to get close to prompt the button press to rip it off. It may be easier with a human player playing with you but I was able to do it with the AI without any problems.

Drive By
Stop an armored truck by taking out the driver.

This is done in Chapter 2-3. You’ll face the bike Majini as well as a few armored trucks throughout the first half of the chapter. Your aim is to shoot a driver of one of these trucks and to do that you need to shoot through the side window. I’m not sure if you can do this on every single truck so if you miss one don’t start over immediately. I got mine on the 2nd truck or so that comes up on the right hand side.

Egg on Your Face
Defeat a Majini with a rotten egg. (5)

*Be sure to not save after doing this if you only have 1 rotten egg.

The place I chose to do this was in Chapter 1-1 when the lone enemy charges you after the cutscene. I shot him one time and then threw the egg to kill him. Make sure you take away your partner’s weapons.

Here's another easy place to get this trophy.
*Tip by Webb: I think Chapter 1-2 maybe with the woman crouched over the body, one shot and then egg in the face. That's where I got it.

Heart Stopper
Defeat a certain enemy by stabbing it in the heart. (1)

The enemy that you want to stab in the heart is the Licker. You’ll first face them in Chapter 5-1 and then again in 5-2. To be able to stab it in the heart you must first knock it on its back. You must then quickly run up to it and press (Square) when prompted to perform the stab.

Thanks to RE4freak4 for the video.

Who Do You Trust?
Build up a certain level of trust with your partner. (8)

This is basically done by pressing (O) after your partner gets a head shot, gives you ammunition or heals you. Some suggest this trophy requires about 20 times doing this; however I feel like I did it many more times. I played through the game twice and still did not have this trophy. I eventually had to load up Chapter 5-2 and get to the area with the Majini with guns. I played on Veteran and purposely got shot enough to where Sheva had to heal me. I loaded her up with nothing but herbs in her inventory. After several full heals the trophy popped up.

Secret Trophies

RESIDENT EVIL 5 Platinum Trophy
Congratulations! You've overcome all your fears in RESIDENT EVIL 5! (14)

Obtain all other trophies (minus the DLC trophies) to get the Platinum.

War Hero
Complete all chapters on Professional. (3)

This mode is unlocked by beating the game on Veteran. This mode is much more difficult and you’ll find your AI partner will get into trouble more frequently if not careful. The infinite rocket launcher is vital for you to use. Also a shotgun that has infinite ammo and a handgun of some sorts is helpful for your character. I recommend giving your partner a magnum that has infinite ammo.

Bad Blood
During the first fight with Wesker, damage him a set number of times. (3)

This fight will occur at the end of Chapter 5-3. The best method consists of using a high powered magnum or using the infinite rocket launcher. For the magnum, you can try and hide and then peek around and shoot Wesker. You could also try to lure him in close to you and when he attempts a physical attack, move out of the way and shoot him then. You can get a series of button presses to do a physical combo on him to do some damage as well.

I used the rocket launcher when I got my trophy. Just be mindful of where “the other person” is at as you don’t want to hit that person. I just shot repeatedly around him and the splash damage will end it fairly quickly.

DLC: Versus Pack
Cost: 4.99 Trophies: 10

Bringing the Pain
Defeat 100 players using physical attacks in Versus.

When you deplete all of an enemies’ health, they will begin to stagger. When this happens, an option will appear allowing you to perform a finishing move. Get in close, press and your character will perform some sort of physical attack (the type varies with each character) and kill the enemy. This is another trophy which will come over time so be patient - you’ll most likely earn this whilst going for the match wins trophies.

Let's Get This Party Started!
Unlock all selectable characters in Versus. (3)

In order to unlock a character, you must purchase them using your points from the in-game Bonus Content area. There are a total of six to unlock and you can buy them in any order you wish. Points are obtained either by completing story missions in single player or by finishing online games, however I would recommend that you participate in online games as you will gain considerably more points from this as well as be working towards the other trophies.

There's no "I" in Team
Score at least 80,000 points in Team Survivors. (1)

A partner is required to earn this trophy. You score points either by shooting your opponents with various weapons or by killing them. If you can, try and perform a finishing move on a wounded enemy for bonus points. The RPG will provide you with the most points however ammo for it is scarce so I would recommend choosing a character who has a Shotgun.

Make use of your radar as it’ll show you the locations of your enemies. The Execution Ground is probably the best map for this just because it is so small and therefore easier to find the enemy. If you’re having trouble with this trophy or just can’t find a decent partner, feel free to visit the Versus Partners Thread

It's All About the Points
Score at least 40,000 points in Survivors.

See the description for There’s no "I" in Team. The only difference here is that you don’t need a partner for this.

It Takes Two to Tango
Chain a 40-defeated combo in Team Slayers. (1)

This is probably one of the most difficult trophies to obtain in the DLC set. The aim of this game mode is to build up your points by constantly killing enemies in quick succession, which in turn raises the combo meter. You are not allowed to have any breaks in the chain otherwise you’ll have to start over again.

A Shotgun or Sniper Rifle makes this much easier as it has a decent amount of firepower and ammo and will kill most of the enemies in a single shot. The best place to earn this trophy is the Temple map - make sure that both of you go all the way up to the second floor and stay around the bridge area. The enemies always spawn here so you should always be able to find some to help build your combo meter up. Make sure that you check the cave on the other side of the bridge and then the stairs leading down to the first floor. Constantly alternate between these two areas and you should be able to kill enough enemies to maintain your combo streak.

Be aware that there is also another team playing the game so be careful as they may be out to kill you and break your combo chain. If you’re having a difficult time trying to earn this trophy then you can check out the Versus Partners Thread.

If you would prefer a visual example of the strategy, then feel free to watch this video kindly provided by ZekeVIII:

Keep the Good Times Rolling
Chain a 20-defeated combo in Slayers.

When attempting this on your own, follow the guidelines in It Takes Two to Tango except make sure that you only stay around the bridge area to meet the constantly respawning enemies.

We Will Survive
Win 30 matches in Team Survivors. (5)

See the description for Eye of the Tiger. You will need a partner in order to earn this trophy.

The Team That Slays Together...
Win 30 matches in Team Slayers. (18)

See the description for Army of One. You will need a partner in order to obtain this trophy.

Eye of the Tiger
Win 30 matches in Survivors. (5)

This is not technically a difficult trophy to obtain, just a very time consuming one that will come over time. A Survivor match lasts for 5 minutes so it will take you a minimum of two and a half hours of match time to obtain it, assuming that you win every match. Seeing as this is extremely unlikely to happen (unless you’re boosting) then you’re probably looking towards the 5-10 hour mark to obtain it. Please note that there is no in-game counter showing how many wins you have so you’ll need to keep track of this yourself. If you would like to speed this process up however, then you can check out the Versus Partners Thread

Army of One
Win 30 matches in Slayers. (1)

Again, this trophy will come over time so be patient. A Slayers match lasts for 3 minutes so it won’t take as long to earn as the Eye of the Tiger trophy.

DLC: Lost in Nightmares
Cost: 4.99 Trophies: 5

Must've Got Lost
Complete 'Lost in Nightmares' on any difficulty setting.

Just Finish Lost in Nightmares, easy enough.

Submitted by Flames.

It's Just a Bad Dream!
Complete 'Lost in Nightmares' with an S rank.

For this one you have 5 things to have in mind- Aim, Enemies Routed, Damage taken, Score & Time. You need to pick every stars you can for the Score, do not get hit or die because of the Damage Taken factor & try not to miss Wesker to much. For the time & enemies routed don’t care to much.

In Normal you won’t have any trouble.

Submitted by Flames.

Night Terrors
Complete 'Lost in Nightmares' on Professional

Just as the Must’ve Got Lost Trophy but harder mostly because of Wesker.
Run from everything, protect yourself & your partner from Weskers attacks & you will be fine. Remember Weskers fight as a time limit, so just keep avoiding him.

Tip: I find Professional easier alone than with a friend/partner.

Submitted by Flames.

Kung Fu Fighting
Inflict a set amount of damage to Wesker in 'Lost in Nightmares.' (1)

Try this on Amateur difficulty because Wesker is weaker. Any chance you have to hit him with punches hit him!! Just counter his attacks & hit him with square.

On Amateur it takes 4 punches for him to fall. On Normal 6 punches i think. Here is a video to show you how it's done. Thanks to CaliGamer for the link:

Wish Upon a Star
Destroy all 18 of the Score stars found throughout 'Lost in Nightmares.'

DLC: Desperate Escape
Cost: 4.99 Trophies: 5

Getaway
Complete 'Desperate Escape' on any difficulty setting.

Simply beat the game. Obviously this is a whole lot easier on Amateur.

The Great Escape
Complete 'Desperate Escape' with an S rank.

Do this on Amateur. The ultimate goal is to obtain at least an aggregate score of 80,000. You’ll most likely get this trophy while trying to unlock “Way of the Warrior” since the 150+ kills will aid you tremendously. Other than that, fire accurately, collect all treasures whenever possible, and obviously avoid damage/death.

Run the Gauntlet
Complete 'Desperate Escape' on Professional. (2)

Without a doubt, the most challenging of the 5 trophies. While online you could join someone’s Professional game, but if that option isn’t available you must first beat the game on Veteran in order to unlock this difficulty.

I’ve read posts saying that completing the game on Professional with an AI partner is impossible, but trust me – it’s not. I was able to do it in about ninety minutes and despite a few trouble areas, it is actually a pretty fun playthrough. Luckily AI Josh is not an absolute moron like AI Sheva, so that’s a big help.

Below you will find specific tips for each area, but first here are some general rules:

- Avoid unnecessary battles and run whenever you can

- Whenever you hit a checkpoint, restart your game right away. This is a must since doing so will get rid of any enemies which were on your tail

- In the very first section, you must absolutely obtain the shotgun. If it isn’t there, restart your game

- Somewhere along the game make sure to pick up a magnum. If you don’t, the final battle will get very nasty

Now here are my quick tips for each section.
Note that I was playing as Jill along with AI Josh.

Initial Area
Make your way to the safe in the upstairs control room on the right. If the key is not in the safe, restart. If it is, avoid all enemies and quickly open the gate and keep running until you reach the checkpoint. Restart your game, then head back to the initial area to collect available weapons and ammo.

Checkpoint # 1
Nothing complicated here. Kill all enemies and open the door for Josh.

Checkpoint # 2
Now it gets a bit troublesome. Head to the middle of the area (by the bottom of the ramp) and have enemies follow you to the entrance area. Once no one else attacks, have Josh throw you up the ladder found on the right side of the map. Pick up the grenades quickly and rejoin your partner until the big machine gun guy appears. Use whatever is at your disposal, but preferably the grenades, gas canisters and shotgun. Might take a few tries, but once he’s down grab the dropped key right away and make for the exit.

Checkpoint # 3 – Turret Area
Start by taking out the three zombies who will head to the turret on the left. If you have a sniper rifle, great, but if not it’s doable with the machine gun or pistol. Make your way to the gap and have Josh toss you across. Watch out for the turret to the left of the door which you must open. Do your best to avoid its fire and wait for Josh. Head to the turret and blast the red door. If there are tons of enemies on your back, restart.

Checkpoint # 4 – Turret Area
Don’t stop, just sprint to the newly opened red door and go straight to the other door just past it. Open it with Josh and if things are hairy, restart.

Checkpoint # 5 – Turret Area
Explode the gas canisters and wait for the fire to burn out. Run past all the baddies and head up the stairs on the right to reach the turret. Quickly use it to blow up the red door in the distance. Restart your game.

Checkpoint # 6 – Turret Area
Sprint over to the demolished red door and head for the turret. Again, use it to blow up another red door found to the left. Pray that the safe next to this turret holds a magnum! Now sprint to said red door and restart your game.

Checkpoint # 7 – Turret Area
Take out as many of the zombies shooting flaming arrows at you. Eventually the game will throw a boss at you. If it’s that insect, you know how to take him out easily. If you are so fortunate to get the executioner, exit this area and head to the turret on the right. Luckily he won’t follow you all the way, but he will stay in your turret sight! Don’t forget to go to that shack in between the turrets for a bunch of ammo. Now go back to the checkpoint start and equip your shotgun for the rest of this area – it will make your life a lot easier. Climb up the stairs and take out that buddha Majini in the green tent. Stock up on ammo and grab that health can! Have Josh throw you up to the next level and simply sprint to the door which you must open for him. Head up the ramp and make sure that Josh is always right next to you as you head for the exit. Don’t go straight for the exit and wait for Josh – I guarantee you that while you wait on him a gang of zombies will kill you.

Checkpoint # 8 – Rooftop
Finally! Break all the crates which you see and stock up. Don’t forget those grenades either. If you’re lucky, you should have about 60 shotgun shells as well as the magnum. After the cut scene, head straight and go up the ladder. This is where you’ll spend the majority of this battle. Take out your shotgun and blast away. Easily defeat the big machine gun guy with 6 blasts from your magnum. Depending on which spawns for you, use your grenades on either the chainsaw guy or the insect. After the timer bumps back up to 2 ½ minutes, keep blasting with your shotgun until either the chainsaw guy or insect re-emerge. Now simply run for the rest of the battle. Head down the ladder and run behind the building all the way in the back and then return to the original area via the ladder on the opposite side. Rinse and repeat. Obviously be vigilant, but this should keep you out of harm’s way until the end!

Way of the Warrior
Defeat 150 enemies singlehandedly in one playthrough of 'Desperate Escape.'

Do this on Amateur. At the onset of the game, request Josh's weapon and make sure you are the one which inflicts all damage on the Majini. If Josh helps out in any way (via melee or knife) then that particular zombie will not count towards the goal. You can guarantee defeating the 150 if done in conjunction with “Shoot the Messenger” (see below) since that trophy requires you to hang around certain areas and continually kill enemies until the Agitator Majini shows up.

As a reference, the trophy popped for me in the area right before the final rooftop battle.

Shoot the Messenger
Defeat 3 Agitator Majini in one playthrough of 'Desperate Escape.' (3)

The Agitator Majinis' are the guys dressed in black and white with the megaphones. If done correctly, there will always be a cutscene to announce their arrival. There are only three found in the game, so if you miss one you’ll have to start all over again. Check out the video below which nicely lays out the locations and requirements to make each one appear. Note that the video describes a glitch where the trophy is obtained after only killing two of the Agitators. Unfortunately I was not so lucky and had to deal with all three for the trophy to pop.

***Much thanks to the fellas at RoosterTeeth for creating this excellent video!***
