Penny Arcade Adventures is a really fun game that has a great combat system and fantastic cartoon style graphics, and the trophies are equally fun to obtain. There are heaps of trophies that are tied to the story mode; none of these are missable as a result. However, there are also a few trophies that if you don’t know what to do could quite easily missed, but with the aid of a road map they should be a breeze. This game is, as a result, a really easy game and well worth getting if you have played the first one.

Step 1: Get your feet wet
This step is all about just getting to know the game and how it works so that you are comfortable with the game before you start going for some of the more difficult trophies. Start a game, create your character and if you feel like it, go for the trophy where at the start you have to refuse to join Gabe and Tycho 5 times (Reluctant Hero), because this is an extremely easy trophy and it is good to get it out of the way. Also try to get Pack Rat Strikes Back using the method in the trophy guide. Whether you choose to do a whole run through with this character is up to you - I personally only did one run through and found that it is pretty easy to get the hang of.

Step 2: Thorough run through
This is probably the most important step in the game because it is where you will probably get most of, if not all of the trophies. Before you start a new game have a look at the trophy list, as there are a few trophies that are easily missed. Then start the game and create your character, make sure you spend some time creating a character that you like because after that you’re stuck with it. For the Steel Cannibal and The Strength to Rule trophies, make sure to kill every enemy that you see so that you can level up your characters quickly and actively look for robots to fight as they give you bolts that you can use to upgrade your characters weapons.

Step 3: Mopping up the rest
When you get to the part where you receive a ticket to the world fair save the game and don’t continue through the story until you have all of the missable trophies, because once you finish the game you can’t continue to walk around the world and explore. This will include making sure that you have upgraded, or are close to upgrading, all of your weapons and that you have the trophy for maxing out one players hit counter (POWER SURRRGE!) as it is really hard to get with the enemies in the world fair.
