Step 1: Play the game to the end.
Nun Attack is a simple game developed by Frima, where all you will have to do is point and swipe on the touch screen to get your way through to the end and stop the one nun gone bad. No other controls are needed for this game. All missions are re-playable and your kill/coin/miracle totals are cumulative. Most of the trophies will come naturally through playing to the end, aside from maybe Miraculous which will depend on how often you need to use your miracles or Godly Powers if you ignore treasure chests or skip certain missions along the way. Play the game anyway you wish to until you defeat the final boss, then check your trophy list to see if you happen to be missing one and replay missions to finish the requirements.

|Defeat Sergeant Baz.|| |
Story Related, cannot be missed
This is the first boss you encounter in the game. I recommend being level 5 with your chosen team and having your guns upgraded as much as you can in the process of levelling to 5. Mandy's healing special power will be very helpful and save your Resurrection and Restoration miracle powers for this boss battle. If you have already used them or need to use them earlier, you can purchase more from the hub. See Miraculous on how to use/purchase miracles.
His attacks are mostly physical and he will throw out either small explosives that you can evade or a blast of ice on the ground that will slow your character down or encase you in ice. Move out of the ice trail to return to normal speed or avoid the solidifying blasts. You will lose health rather fast in this battle, so make sure to have a few of your miracle powers to stay alive and safe.
|The Curse Is Lifted|
|Defeat Ripfang the Savage,|| |
Story Related, cannot be missed
The second boss you will encounter in the game. I recommend being level 9-10 with at least 2 of your characters. Keep Mandy with you for her healing power and again, have a stock of Resurrection or Restoration powers just in case you take too much damage. This time you should have a new miracle, Rain of Divine Flames, that will help do damage.
Fire at Ripfang while he assaults you and when he moves to the corner and stops, he will turn into a whirlwind and spin around the outer edges of the screen. Keep your team in the middle of the screen to avoid getting hit. He will occasionally move diagonal across the screen but the damage is small, don’t worry about it.
While he is attacking is a good time to use Mandy's healing power. Your team will stay healed as he attacks you, then while he is in whirlwind form your charge will have time to finish refilling. Repeat this about 2-3 times and he will die.
|Lord of the Night|
|Defeat Count Viktor.|| |
Story Related, cannot be missed
The third and most annoying boss up to this point. You will have your entire team this time, so use all the powers freely. Make sure they all have at least one gun at level 4 as well.
This boss will attack mostly with bursts of lightning all over the screen. He also has the ability to heal himself, making this fight longer than the others. Like the previous boss fights it's a matter of shoot, heal and repeat.
The most dangerous attack Viktor has though is a confusion spell that causes your team to attack each other instead of him. Your team can and will slaughter each other rather quickly if they don't have high health beforehand. To stop this you need to use your miracle power Purity which will remove all negative effects on your nuns.
|Banished from Heaven|
|Defeat Mortanna, Sister of Flames.|| |
Story Related, cannot be missed
The final boss and easily most brutal of the boss fights. Take as many Resurrection miracles as you can (I needed 8 for this fight, I came in with 15) and 5-10 Shield of Faith miracles. Save as many as you can for Mortanna herself.
On the way to the final boss, there is 3 sub-battles. In each, you will have to fight one of the previous bosses again. This time a slightly stronger version of the previous. The third sub-boss, Viktor, will use his confusion spell frequently, making this battle much more dangerous than the last time you fought him. If you have trouble with him, then equip Purity as your third miracle. If not, take Restoration to make the final fight easier. You can do it without it, so the choice is yours.
Once you reach Mortanna, she will attack you relentlessly with a barrage of physical attacks and energy bolts she shoots out. Occasionally she will grow a tail that whips out and hits your characters as well. When she disappears off the screen, a rain of fireballs will come down and do a lot of damage. When this happens is when you want to use your Shield of Faith miracle to dampen the damage taken.
Keep your characters spread out so they all don't take damage at once and don’t waste any time with offensive miracles. You will need to spend all your time healing and resurrecting your characters. A lot. After each round of fire rain, Mortanna's health will restore a decent amount but if you keep all your characters alive it will only take 1-2 minutes to kill her. Other than that, just keep firing at her when she is on screen and make full use of all your characters special powers.
|Gather 1,000,000 Coins.|| |
This amount is cumulative and seems like much more than it really is. By the time you reach the fourth map you can earn roughly 75,000 per mission if you go through all the sub-battles in it. If you don't have this by the end of the game, you should be very close.
Most of your money earned will come when you kill an enemy. Make sure to tap the money pile that drops on the ground after killing an enemy to collect it or it will disappear. You will also earn a bonus money for earning a gold rating in a level. This is a one time bonus.
You can also use the Vita's Near option to send and receive cash gifts for the game to nearby players. If you're lucky and have players using this option, it can give you a nice boost when you start the game but isn't all that necessary.
|Reach level 15 with a Nun.|| |
15 is the highest you can level any of your characters to. If you keep one of your characters with you from the beginning of the game at all times you will have this by sometime in the fourth map. Only one character needs to reach level 15 to earn the trophy. Just play through missions to keep levelling your character. You will keep any progress made from sub-battles even if you fail the overall mission.
|Ready to Rock!|
|Gather your full squad.|| (1) |
Story Related but Glitched
Your squad consists of 4 characters. When you start the game you will have access to just one character to play with. You will unlock the rest as you complete the first three missions on the first map. Rosy, Olga then Mandy to be specific. The character is unlocked after defeating the final portal at the end.
*This trophy may glitch on you and for some reason the mission will be completed but your respective character for that mission will not unlock in your game. You can start a new save file and replay the first 3 levels or if that doesn't work, delete and reinstall your game data. The first 3 missions only take roughly 15 minutes to complete, so it isn't much time lost if this happens.
|Obtain a 3-bullet rating in 20 missions.|| |
To obtain a 3-bullet rating in a mission you have to complete the final battle, all the sub-battles on the way and destroy all the offensive portals on the mission map as well. Use the in-game tutorials to learn how to destroy each type of offensive portal as they appear. If you need more help on how to destroy them, refer to Deflector for more tips.
There are 40 missions in the game (10 per map) and you only need to get a gold rating in 20 to earn the trophy. If one mission is proving too hard you can move on to the next and try that one, if not you will have this at the end of the second map.
*This trophy may glitch on you and not unlock after earning a 3-bullet rating in well over 20 missions. If this happens you will have to start a new save file and start again or if that doesn't work, delete and reinstall your game data.
|Lock n' Load!|
|Upgrade a Nun's weapon to its full potential.|| |
Each character will start off with one gun and you can find 4 more for each as you progress through the game in the treasure chests. To earn this, however, you only need to fully upgrade one of any of your characters guns to its highest, which is level 4. The amount for each gun varies but all are close to 100,000.
To upgrade a weapon, touch the nun icon from the top left corner of the games hub then touch guns to bring up that menu. Touch the character and gun you wish to have upgraded then in the bottom left corner of the screen you will see the amount of money needed to upgrade the weapon and an upwards arrow in a green box to its right. Touch this arrow to upgrade the weapon.
Unless you want this trophy early, you shouldn't really need to upgrade any of the nun's first to third set of weapons past level 2. You're better off only upgrading your stronger weapons and saving that money for extra miracles later in the game.
|Open a special chest.|| |
A special chest is any gold chest you find on the mission maps. Some will require you to clear a sub-battle first to spawn a TNT plunger to clear wreckage out of the way first. Most do not require this though and you will find your first one in mission 4. Simply have your team walk in to it the same way you would a sub-battle or boss portal.
These chests are where you will find new miracles, guns and money. When you reach the chest, you will enter a new screen as if you were entering a battle. This will heal all your characters completely when exiting this treasure chest level and is helpful if your characters have taken damage from the offensive portals on the mission map.
|Back from Beyond|
|Bring a Nun back to life.|| |
Once you have the Resurrection miracle (found in mission 8) return to the hub at your leisure. When you are there touch the bible icon in the top left corner to bring up the miracle menu, then touch the miracle to equip it. You will know its equipped if there is a green check mark in the corner of the icon.
Return to any mission and when one or more of your characters dies in battle touch the bible icon which is now in the bottom left corner to bring up the miracle options. The game will freeze while you do this and a square shows up in the middle of the screen. Draw the corresponding shape under the miracle you wish to perform in the square that appeared. If you drew it properly the line you left behind will turn into the icon of the miracle you chose. In this case you have to draw a wide "U" starting from the left side.
|Deflect 100 projectiles.|| |
The projectiles mentioned are the ones that are fired from the offensive portals. The blue and purple portals are the main portals that shoot projectiles you can deflect and are used to destroy both the firing portal and others on the mission map.
To deflect a projectile, touch the screen just behind it and quickly swipe all the way towards the portal you wish to attack. Most portals will take 2-3 hits to destroy but you only need to deflect the projectiles for them to count towards the trophy, in case you miss.
The green, red and ghostly portals can't be deflected. They have to be tapped and as a result it's very hard to destroy their portals because you have to tap it pretty much on top of the portal, which isn't much time. You are better off deflecting the purple and blue ones towards the others to destroy them first. If you are having trouble defeating one of the green, red or ghostly portals you can use the Rain of Divine Flames on the mission map as it will destroy all the portals on your current section of map.
This will most likely be earned as you work on the World Peace trophy.
|Obtain all miracles.|| |
There are 7 miracles you can obtain in the game. You will unlock them by finding them in the gold treasure chests and defeating the first 3 main bosses. You can earn this by the fourth map as all can be unlocked beforehand. You don't have to use or equip them, just unlock them. A list of their exact locations is listed below.
Restoration: Found in the treasure chest during mission 5.
Resurrection: Found in the treasure chest during mission 8.
Cold Embrace: Gained after defeating the map 1 boss.
Rain of Divine Flames: Found in the treasure chest during mission 16.
Shield of Faith: Gained after defeating the map 2 boss.
Purity: Found in the treasure chest during mission 25.
Confusion: Gained after defeating the map 3 boss.
|Use 50 miracles.|| |
Upon unlocking a miracle you will be given 3 uses of it. This will allow you 21 free uses of your miracles overall. You will then have to purchase more through the hub to use the remaining 29 miracles. Touch the bible icon in the top left corner of the screen and then touch the miracle you wish to purchase more of. Touch the dollar sign in the green box in the bottom left corner of the screen to purchase one at a time. The prices for another miracle use costs $1,250 to $5,000. For $25,000 you can purchase a third miracle slot. The purchase option is found on the same page as you find the miracles on only this time the dollar sign on the lower right side is the one you want to touch.
If you are in the middle of a mission and wish to purchase more miracles without having to go back to the hub, you can purchase more from the pause menu as well. Touch the pause icon in the top right of the screen from the mission map then touch miracles to bring up a new menu. A list of the miracles you have equipped will show up. Touch the dollar sign beside it to purchase more stock of the one you want. You can only purchase more for the ones you have equipped. Miracles that aren't equipped must be purchased from the hub.
Make sure the miracles you want equipped have a small green check mark on their icons before returning to battle. Once you are back in the mission map or battle screen, touch the bible icon in the bottom left corner of the screen to pause the game action and bring up a square in the middle of the screen. Use your finger to draw the symbol shown under the icon of the miracle you wish to perform inside the square. If drawn correctly, the line you leave behind will turn into the icon's image and activate.
The total is cumulative between all miracles so simply use any one 50 times and the trophy is yours.
|Defeat 100 skeletons.|| |
Skeletons are the first enemies you will encounter in the game and come in various forms. To attack them, simply touch your character at her feet and drag your finger to the enemy you wish to attack. If the green line turns red you are on target and can let your finger go to let them start attacking. You should have this just before or after the first boss in the game. They appear throughout the entire game though, so there is ample opportunity to earn this.
*This trophy may glitch on you and not pop despite killing well over 100 skeletons. You can start a new save file and kill another 100 skeletons quickly or delete and reinstall your game data. If you don't care about replaying the game after finishing it, you can also just play until the end and hope it pops up in the meanwhile.
