I'm pretty sure you have to complete the mini-touch-game, because when I tried to do 100 without touching the back of my Vita, it didn't work. So that's why they specifically put the word "successfully" there.

The minigame consists in touch front and back screens at the same time. You can use you right rand indicator and thumb to do it!
