Guide By: ScrubsIsAwesome & Big Brother (DLC) There are 35 Trophies that can be earned in this title.
|
Show / Hide Guide Road Map Overview: - Estimated Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 - Approximate Time To Platinum: 30-35 hours - Offline: 30 (12 12 5 1 ) - Online: 0 - Missable Trophies: None - Minimum Playthroughs Needed: 1 - Difficulty Affects Trophies: No, it only affects one badge - Glitched Trophies: None as far as I am concerned - Cheats: None ROAD MAP Step 1: Career The first thing you do when you start the game is race a BMW for the NFS Live Pre-Race Event. After you complete the event you will unlock the career. You will progress among tiers as you earn stars. The first thing to do in the career is to complete EVERY event on every tier. Your goal is to get the career trophies and as much xp as possible. Getting all stars is an extremely painful task and I suggest staying away from them. During every race I suggest you make a perfect launch and try to pass your opponents with clean AND dirty take-overs. This way you can get as many badges and get as high up in the ranks as you can. The more badges you unlock and the higher you get the less work it'll be for you to do later. This is a good game but gets repetitive, so the less work you have to do in Steps 2 & 3 the better. Step 2: BadgesThere are 27 categories, but you only need to get 20 epic badges so the categories I suggest you avoid are The Star Badge, The European Corners Mastering and The Online Badges. These are the ones I suggest you aim for: Japan Clean USA Clean Europe Clean Dirty Overtake Clean Overtake Iron Man Japanese Online Endurance Mixed Event Perfect Launch Difficulty Manufacturer Japan Manufacturer USA Manufacturer Europe Series Drafting Corner Japan Corner USA Trading Paint Rivals Step 3: Leveling UpThis is an easy, but a boring step. By the time you've reached this step you should be about level 30-40. If you've played this game to death then I suggest using the method outlined in this thread. [PS3T Would Like to Thank ScrubsIsAwesome for this Roadmap] |

This is unmissable, it can be unlocked at any time. If you finish first in the event after you do the practice lap then the trophy will unlock. |

| Reach Tier 2 | |
See The Final Countdown. To reach tier 2 you must obtain 30 stars, this is easy as all of the tier 1 events are easy enough to win all of the stars. |
 | Chance of a Lifetime | |
| Reach Tier 3 | |
To unlock tier 3 you must obtain 80 stars from events you compete in; most races have a possiblitly of 6 stars to be earned. See The Final Countdown for a list of objectives. |
 | The Final Countdown | |
| Reach Tier 4 | |
For each tier you must get a certain amount of stars to unlock it. Below is a list of objectives. Each star can only be obtained once, but if you fail all of the stars on the first go, then reselect the race later on and only focus on the stars.
Finish 1st (3 stars) Finish 2nd (2 stars) Finish 3rd (1 star) Perform a clean lap (1 star) Spin out 3 opponents (1 star) Beat lap time [X] (1 star) Master all corners (1 star) |
 | NFS Live World Champion | |
| Win the NFS Live World Championship | (4) |
The NFS World Championship consists of 9 races and 3 events. It is the last trophy in the career and you need to have 280 stars to unlock it. It's the same as any other event - you need to come in 1st, 2nd or 3rd and win points. Here is a list of the races you must win (in this order).
US Series: Willow Springs GP Laguna Seca Dakota GP Road America
World Series: Autopolis GP Donington GP Silverstone GP Spa GP Nordschleife

There are 2 types of points that you can earn: Aggression points and Precision points. The more points from each type you earn depends on what type of driver you are.
Aggression Points: Drafting (driving behind an opponent) Spinning an opponent (knock someone off the track by making them spin) Blocking an opponent (moving in front of an opponent therefore stopping them from over taking you) Dirty overtaking (overtaking someone making contact in the process) Tapping out an opponent (forcing an opponent off the track by only tapping them) Trading paint (hit the side of an opponent’s car) Corner sliding (sliding around a corner)
Precision Points: Perfect launching Reaching the speed threshold (reaching a high speed) Staying on the racing line (driving on the racing line) Driving a clear sector (not making contac in a section, you'll know when you've finished a section as a time will appear in the corner) Initializing a clean takeover (overtaking someone without touching them) Mastering corners (to master a corner you must do the following things stay on the race line, avoid contact, speed through the corner and avoid sliding out the back end)

There are 4 types of badges: Bronze (1 quarter), Silver (half), Gold (3 quarters) & Epic (all). There are 27 badges in all, so you can skip 7 and still get the Platinum.
Clean Race - 3 Epic Badges One for completing a clean race on each track in Europe, Japan and the US. To get these easily, go to "Quick Race" on the menu, select the track you need to perform a clean lap on and set the AI to zero. Be careful and you should get each epic badge easily.
Corner Master - 3 Epic Badges One for mastering all corners on each track in Europe, Japan and the US. Use the same method as "Clean Race" if you're struggling. Also, there is a guide on how to master corners: Here
Trading Paint - 1 Epic Badge You must trade paint with cars 250 times.
Overtaking - 2 Epic Badges One for clean overtakes and another for dirty overtakes. To get both epic badges you must perform 500 overtakes (250 cleans and 250 dirties).
Drafting - 1 Epic Badge You must draft 250 times (see Agressive Points in Driving Legend).
Perfect Launch - 1 Epic Badge When you start a race the speedometer will have an N on it, rev the engine to make the N go green. The greener the N, the better the launch, despite being called "Perfect Launches" you only need to get a Good, Great or Perfect launch for it to count towards the epic badge.
Difficulty - 1 Epic Badge You need to win 25 races on each difficulty to win this. I suggest doing all of the easy wins in Career, then if you're decent and once you've won 25 on Easy, switch to Medium. I suggest doing the method mentioned in Clean Races for Hard.
Iron Man - 1 Epic Badge You must finish 10 consecutive races in 1st for this badge. If you haven't gotten this by the end of your Career, go to "Quick Race" and set the AI to zero and select a quick track.
Star Collector - 1 Epic Badge You must collect every single star in tier 1, 2 3 & 4. If you're going for platinum I recommend trying for a different epic badge.
Endurance, Series and Mixed - 3 Epic Badges To obtain these you must finish 1st on all the events in Endurance, Series and Mixed.
Defeat Rivals - 1 Epic Badge You must defeat every rival in the game. Note that to obtain the epic badge for this you must also win the World Series.
Manufacturer Loyalty - 3 Epic Badges You must drive 160 KMs in 3 different cars from Europe, Japan and the US.
Online Domination - 1 Epic Badge You must place 3rd or better in online events.
Online Champion - 3 Epic Badges To obtain all 3 you must win a race on all of the circuts from Europe, Japan and the US.
Online Drift Champion - 1 Epic Badge You must finish 1st on every drift track in a Drift event.
Driver Duel Championship - 1 Epic Badge You must make it to the top of the driver duel ladder and defend the top spot against multpile racers. |

| DLC: Exotic Racing Series |
| Cost: 9.99 Trophies: 5 |
| |
|
 | Hot Lap Champion | |
| Complete every event in the Hot Lap Competition in 1st position | (2) |
The Hot Lap Competition consists of 4 Time Attacks. You are on your own with a given car and you have to beat the best time. Here are the 4 times to beat on Easy:
- Alpental (Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione): 00:52.00 - Glendale West (Maserati GranTurismo S): 01:05.00 - Riviera - Monument Loop (Acura NSX): 00:50.00 - Tokyo short (McLaren MP4-12C): 00:49.00 |
 | Exotica | |
| Complete an Online Race or Time Attack in all the Exotic vehicles | (16) |
To get this trophy, all you have to do is to complete a race online with each car from the DLC. You don't need to win them. It will still count even if you can't reach the finish line within 30 seconds after the winner has finished. The cars from the DLC are:
- Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione - BMW M1 Procar - GUMPERT apollo - Acura NSX - McLaren MP4-12C - Maserati GranTurismo S - Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren Stirling Moss
This means you'll have to play at least 7 races online. |
 | Time Splitter | |
| Beat all the lap times in the Exotic Time Attack Competition | (1) |
The Exotic Time Attack Competition consists of 4 races against the AI. You have to beat the AI time to win, but in order to get this trophy, you'll have to beat a fixed record for each race. Here are the records to beat on Easy:
- Brands Hatch Indy: 00:52.000 - Silverstone National: 01:03.000 - London River: 01:30.000 - Donington National: 01:18.000
For these races, you can only use the Acura NSX, the Alfa 8C Competizione or the Maserati GranTurismo S. Don't forget that you can buy racing parts to improve these cars. This will make things much easier. |
 | Scenic Route | |
| Achieve 1st place in all Riviera Tour events | |
Riviera Tour is a 4 race championship (one race on each Riviera version). You'll have to come in first on each race to get the trophy. |
 | Exotic Tour Star | |
| Achieve all Stars in Exotic World Tour | |
Exotic World Tour is a 5 race championship. To get this trophy, you'll have to get all the stars for this championship. This means that for each race, you have to finish first, earn a fixed amount of points and complete an objective. It's not necessary to earn all the stars in one playthrough. Here are the point requirements and specific objectives for each race on Easy:
- Ambush Canyon: Earn 2400 pts and Own 75% Racing Line - Monte Grande: Earn 2960 pts and 100 Drafting Points (in one go) - London Royal Mile: Earn 2560 pts and Perform a Clean Lap - Tokyo Circuit: Earn 3040 pts and Lead for an Entire Lap - Spa GP: Earn 3280 pts and Own 75% Racing Line
If you have trouble earning points or achieving objectives, here are some tips:
- The best way I found to earn a lot of points is to trade paint as much as you can. Stay in the middle of a group of opponents and crash into them as much as you can. - To own 75% racing line, just take your time and follow it as much as you can. - Earning 100 drafting points in one go is a bit tricky. Here again, take your time and follow an opponent, staying as close as possible. Keep at it and you will get. |
