![]() | The Big Day | ||
| Get drafted in the 1st round of the NBA draft in My Player mode. | |||
This a challenging trophy for many. It does NOT matter what your in-game stats are as the only thing that matters and counts is your teammate grade. There are only three combine games and in those games have your quarter length set to 10 or 12 minutes long. Since there are only three games, you want to give yourself a better shot at getting a B+ or higher teammate grade. After each game you will see at the bottom or your My Player homepage your stock value in the draft (where you are projected of being drafted). Once all three games have been played, you will enter the NBA Draft and if you have been getting good teammate grades then you should be drafted in the 1st round.
![]() | Complete the Circuit
| Complete the Summer Circuit and make an NBA roster in My Player Mode. | |||
There are only four Summer Circuit games. Just like you did in the three games for the draft combine, the goal here is again to average a B+ or higher teammate per game to make the NBA roster of the team that drafted you, instead of being sent to the NBA D-League. Have your quarter length set to 10 or 12 minutes long as in Summer Circuit you will be subbed in and out of games, so getting a good teammate grade can be a bit more difficult. After the Summer Circuit is over, and if you made the NBA roster, the trophy will appear.
![]() | Check! | ||
| Complete all 3 in-game objectives in My Player mode. | |||
During any My Player game, you are given three in-game objectives: 1 offensive, such as shoot 70% or better from the free throw line, 1 defensive, such as hold your match up to less than 11 points, and 1 teammate grade, which is usually get a teammate grade of C+ or better. You can check during the game to see how are doing by going to the in-game menu and selecting performance to see how you are doing with your in-game objectives. Complete all three, and the trophy is yours at the end of the game.
![]() | Keep Your Friends Close
| Win a My Player Pick-Up Game. | |||
*Unattainable due to 2K Sports closing the online servers* When in My Player mode, choose to play a Pick-Up Game. This game is unranked, but if you play well you will gain experience points to help improve your player. You will be matched up against another user or users and be playing a 4 quarter, 20 minute game, and each user playing the position that they have choose for their player. Win the game, and the trophy is yours.
![]() | My Air | ||
| Create your own signature Air Jordans. | |||
When you are playing in the NBA, you need have good games both stats wise and teammate grade wise to earn an opportunity for the Jordan Brand to offer you a deal with a shot to make your own signature Air Jordan's. Before you get the opportunity to create your own signature Air Jordan's, the Jordan Brand will send you a welcome letter, put you billboard, and put you on a magazine cover. Increasing your league wide popularity is very important. In your press conferences answer with arrogance, when the questions are about your player getting an award and game play. Answer with loyalty, when the questions are your team. Answer with professionalism, when the questions seem to be a tie between arrogance and loyalty. This trophy can happen either mid-way through the season or later in your career.
![]() | My Player of the Game
| Be named Player of the Game (in an NBA game) in My Player mode. | |||
You have to be playing on a NBA team to get this trophy. To be named the Player of the Game, you need to have the best performance out of everyone on the floor and WIN the game. Normally, you will get this by scoring the most points in the game or if you achieve a double-double or a triple-double in a game. When the game is over, and you are named the Jordan Brand Player of the Game, the trophy will be yours.
![]() | My Every Day Player
| Become a starter in the NBA in My Player Mode. | |||
To become a starter in the NBA, you NEED to average an A or better teammate grade, with good numbers stat wise from points, rebounds, and assists. This can take some time depending on the position you have chosen, and the starting player you are battling with to start for your team. If you notice you are slowly gaining minutes and the starter is losing minutes, then you are on the path to becoming a starter. If you feel you will not become a starter for your team, then you can request a trade, but be careful as your current team may not send you to one your preferred destinations.
![]() | My Rookie of the Year
| Win the NBA Rookie of the Year award in My Player mode. | |||
After the Summer Circuit, go to options and set the sim quarter length to 1 minute, and in-game play at 12 minutes. This way all the other rookies will play at most is 4 minutes a game, and you will be getting 20+ minutes a game, which will give you better stats than all the other rookies making you the clear cut winner for Rookie of the Year. The trophy should appear during the end of regular season awards screen. Though with patch 1.20, the trophy requires you to play a few drills or a few playoff games for the trophy to appear.
![]() | My Big Eight-O | ||
| Earn an 80 overal rating in My Player mode. | |||
80 Overall with your My Player, this can take a season or two to achieve depending on how you made your My Player. The taller you made your My Player, the less skill points you will get per game and per accomplishment. In the games you play, you will want the have your quarter length set to 10 or 12 minutes long to help rack up points and either rebounds, blocks, steals, or assists. Also, try to always aim for a "A" or higher teammate grade and complete all three in-game objectives to increase skill points after each game. Drills are also helpful, but only do the drills you know your My Player will be good in so you can gain an extra 400 skill points and improve by 1 or 2 attributes in a category based on the drill. Once you reach 80 overall with your My Player, the trophy will appear.
![]() | My All-Star | ||
| Be named an NBA All-Star in My Player mode. | |||
To become an All-Star you need to have good stats leading up the All-Star game in February as voting starts in December, and have you league popularity up if you want to get voted to start in the All-Star game. It does help having your offense and defense awareness up to 80 or more in each category, but you can still be an All-Star even if you do not make the vote-in. If you do not get to start, you will get a notice telling you you did make the team as a bench player. You MUST play the All-Star game, and after the game the trophy will be yours.
![]() | My MVP | ||
| Win the NBA MVP award in My Player mode. | |||
After the Summer Circuit, go to options and set the sim quarter length to 1 minute, and in-game play at 12 minutes. This will take some work depending on the team you join because if you join a team like the Lakers, then it is possible that Kobe could win the MVP. Winning the MVP comes down to how long it takes you to become a starter. The quicker you become a starter, the better set you are to have good scoring, rebounding, assists, steals, and blocks average to put you in the top tier of the league. Will help if you are on a playoff bound team, but with every other team in the league playing 4 minute games the only competition you have is your fellow starters. The trophy will appear during the end of regular season awards screen.
![]() | Buzzer Beater | ||
| Make a game winning shot with no time left on the clock, in a non-simulated game. | |||
You NEED to have the ball in your possession, and in your best player's hands (unless you are using custom sliders). Shoot the ball with almost one second left on the game clock in the fourth quarter or overtime (not the 24 second shot clock) and make the basket to win the game.
![]() | Trip-Dub | ||
| Record a triple double with any player, in a non-simulated game. | |||
You can get this with either a point guard (Chris Paul) or center (Dwight Howard). All you need is to have 10+ in three statistical areas. The most common is points, rebounds, and assists. It is best to go after getting rebounds first, which you can by highlighting your player, pressing
![]() | Dub-Dub | ||
| Record two double doubles with any teammates, in a non-simulated game. | |||
You NEED two players to record a double-double. Best to use a point guard (Chris Paul) and a center (Dwight Howard). All you need is to have 10+ in two statistical areas. The most common is points, rebounds, or assists. It is best to have your center focus on rebounds and points, and your point guard focus on points and assists.
![]() | Five by Five | ||
| Record 5 or more in 5 different stats with any player in a non-simulated game. | |||
This trophy is best done with a center, such as Dwight Howard. You need to have 5+ in five statistical areas. The most common is points, rebounds, assists, steals, and blocks. Focus on getting blocks and rebounds first as they are the most challenging. To block or get a rebound use
![]() | Artillery | ||
| Make 15 or more 3-pointers with any team, in a non-simulated game. | |||
This is a cumulative team trophy for one game. It does not matter who makes the 3-point shots as long as your team makes 15 in one game. Best way is to turn up your three point shooting in options.
![]() | Block Party | ||
| Record 10 or more blocks with any team, in a non-simulated game. | |||

![]() | Wire to Wire | ||
| Do not allow your opponent to lead the game at any point with any team, in a non-simulated game. | |||
This is a rather easy trophy. Win the tip-off at the start of the game and score to take the lead. Then for the rest of the game make sure you lead the game till the end of the game. The other team can tie the game, but as long as they do not take the lead, you will still get the trophy. If you are not using custom sliders then play as the Miami Heat against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
![]() | 4-Point Line | ||
| Pull off a successful 4-point play with any player, in a non-simulated game. | |||
This can be done against the CPU with sliders adjusted. Make sure your game has at least 5 minute quarters. When using custom sliders, change USER 3 point success to 100, then change CPU shooting foul frequency to 100. When in game, get behind the 3-point line and pump fake your defender by tapping
![]() | Not Over Yet | ||
| Make a 3 pointer at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime, in a non-simulated game. | |||
You NEED to have the ball in your possession, and in your best 3-point shooter hands (unless you are using custom sliders). Shoot the ball from behind the 3-point line with almost one second left on the game clock in the fourth quarter or overtime (not the 24 second shot clock) and make the basket to send the game into overtime.
![]() | The Closer | ||
| Hold the opposing team to 0 points in the final two minutes of regulation, in a non-simulated game. | |||
In the fourth quarter, you CANNOT allow the opposing team score at all in the final 2 minutes of the game. If you are using custom sliders (CPU sliders all at zero, USER sliders all at 100), then this will be easy to attain. If you are still struggling to not allow the opposing team to score, then use the two controller method, where controller 1 does not allow controler 2 to score. You can go into overtime, and even if you lose or win the trophy will appear at the end of the game.
![]() | G Performace | ||
| Score at least 48 points with Kevin Durant to set a new career high, in a non-simulated game. | |||
In a quick game using 5 minute quarters, play as the Oklahoma City Thunder against a weak team like the Minnesota Timberwolves. In the game, get the ball as much as you can to number 35, Kevin Durant. Use custom sliders to ensure that Durant can make all his shots, and you should have this trophy before halftime.
![]() | G Dominance | ||
| Win by at least 50 points with any team, in a non-simulated game. | |||
Easiest way is to edit the game sliders, where all USER sliders are 100 and CPU sliders are 0. Now go play a quick game with 5 minute quarters, and using your custom sliders the CPU will constantly be bricking and missing shots. Be careful to not allow layups or dunks as even with custom sliders the CPU will still make layups and dunks. While holding the opposing team to under 40% field-goal percentage, simply score as much as possible to win the game by 50 points. The trophies will appear at the end of the game. You can check your in game stats by hitting

You can be playing Quick Games, Association games, My Player, Online, whatever. Just play and the shoes will come.
The shoes do not unlock in the same order for everyone, but rather in a weighted random order with respect to how scarce they are in the real world. For example, all of the shoes above with a ‘+2’ bonus will likely unlock much sooner than the shoes with the higher bonuses. The higher end shoes will definitely give you a big advantage over the competition, particularly in My Player Pick-Up games. The real prize here is obviously the Air Jordan XI, with a number of the ‘+5’ shoes hot on its heels. And remember, all you have to do to unlock these shoes is play the game!

There are a total of 10 challenges. You have to reach each requirement per challenge before you are allowed to move on to the next challenge. You do have the option of in-game saving as these games have 8 minute quarters, and in-game saving does not affect the trophy. These challenges can be difficult, and if you are struggling then edit the rosters for the opposing team and the Bulls roster in the challenge to make reaching each requirement easier. Also, you can change the difficulty from Pro to Rookie in-game by options > My NBA Settings > Gameplay.

*Unattainable due to 2K Sports closing the online servers*
This is hardest part of getting a platinum in NBA 2K11. It is at times almost impossible to boost 3 straight wins "Back to Back to Back" and 5 straight wins "You're Officially Hot" as there are so many good players online. This year though, 2K sets up ranked games based on your NAT. The best time to try to boost would be early morning hours or in the early part of the afternoon as there are way too many players online in the evenings. You do need to play the full game for the stats and wins to register to the 2K servers. If you want to boost this trophy (though boosting is virtually impossible due to the massive amount of players on the 2K servers), use the boosting thread. More clarfication on this trophy by Chairman Meow:
Basically, though, your online stats board is accurate, so if a quitter adds a win to your leaderboards then it has been officially recorded, counts towards your win streak, etc... I personally never had a problem with quitters not counting towards my win streak, but other people have said they're still breaking their streak so I can't confirm one or the other. Like I said though, after the first day when Ronnie said they fixed the servers (January 11th or so) every quitter counted towards my win total and streak.
BUT! The catch is that apparently the game only checks to see if you've met the requirements to earn a trophy after completing a full game. So, for example, if you win two games in a row, and then earn another win from a quitter, you will not get the three-game win streak trophy, even if your leaderboards say you have a W3 streak. However, if you complete and win your next game, you'll earn Back-To-Back-To-Back with a W4, and then if you complete and win your next game you'll get You're Officially Hot with a W5 like you're supposed to. The same goes for Lincoln/Hamilton/Jackson. I went like 23-4 or something to start, and at least 7 or 8 of those wins came from quitters, many of them during one long W16+ streak. My 20th recorded win came from a quitter, but when I won my 21st game with a complete game, Jackson popped up for me just like the W3/W5 streak trophies. According to someone else, though, if you earn a win streak from a quitter and then lose, the game will only recognize your L1 and you won't earn any trophies, even if you met the requirements prior to that loss.
