Note - Tutorial replacement

As of 18/12/2016, Mojang have released another update that has replaced the tutorial world for the 4th time now rendering a lot of information in the guide obsolete. A new version is currently being worked on to replace the existing one.

Credit to Superbuu3 and DrMan33 for the videos and to Terminator for information on glitches and advice about the tutorial world.

Introduction:

The original PC hit, Minecraft finally makes its debut on Playstation 4! This is the PS4 edition of the hugely popular creative game developed by Notch and ported by 4J Studios. The game works in the exact same way as the PS3 edition and includes larger worlds, addition of new items and elements such as Anvils, Emeralds and more! For those unfamiliar with Minecraft and how the game mechanics work, I suggest referring to the Minecraft wiki: LINK, it also contains very useful information such as recipe lists, where to find items and materials and so on.

Note:

Most of the trophies can obtained in the tutorial world or your own world, it is entirely up to you, however the majority of trophies are much easier to obtain in the tutorial and the guide will often refer to locations within the tutorial world.

You can also import your worlds from the PS3 and Vita versions so this will make getting a lot of trophies significantly faster, in particular On a Rail if you have a world setup for it. Note: Even on imported worlds you need to fulfil all the requirements again, even if you previously earned them on the PS3 version.

Walkthrough:

There isn't really a walkthrough for this type of game, because you can do the trophies in whichever order you want to since most just involve crafting certain items. What I would advise doing is leaving the trophies involving the Nether and entering "The End" until last when you have a Diamond Sword and some Diamond Armour as they will help a lot. You can find numerous diamond blocks at X: 4, Y: 71: Z: 329, just mine the sandstone blocks away and you will see diamond underneath.

Other than that, the trophy list and game will feel very familiar to those who have played the game on PS3 or other platforms so should have little trouble working through the trophies.

  • Offline trophies: 6 (3, 2, 1)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-3 hours (if you use the item duplication glitch)

Introduction

Expansion Pack 1 is the first that has added as a free update to the Minecraft: Playstion 4/Vita Editions which adds 6 new trophies to the game but is called Expansion Pack 4 in the PS3 version. The PS4 version is significantly less time consuming than the PS3/Vita versions, due to the "chest" based item duplication glitch so I highly recommend using this for the Beacon and Wither trophies.

Thanks to mcspotlights, KryAON and myself for the videos in the guide.

Walkthrough

You can go about unlocking these trophies in any order you wish but I highly recommend acquiring a Diamond Pickaxe using the Diamond blocks at X: 4, Y: 71: Z: 329 then immediately working towards powering up your Beacon. If you cannot get help from another player then utilise the duplication glitch, otherwise this will take several hours. See Beaconator for more details.

This Guide is assuming that you are playing in the Tutorial World and as such, some trophies will refer to locations within it.

Expansion Pack 2 DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (Personal Estimate)
  • Offline trophies: 0
  • Online trophies: 4 (3, 2, 1
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 30-45 mins
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, you can earn trophies in casual or competitive modes
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, PS3, PS4 and Vita all have separate lists.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes.

Introduction:

Expansion Pack 2 is the second set of free trophies added to the PS4/Vita versions of Minecraft that is tied to the Battle Mini Game that was recently added to the game. Thanks to a patch, all the trophies have to be obtained in public matches because the devs disabled the ability to earn them in private rooms. Due to this, all 6 trophies are now online only.

Note that is required on the PS4 version and you must create dummy accounts if you intend to use splitscreen, Because the guest accounts cannot be used online.

Walkthrough:

There is no set walkthrough for this, since you can earn the trophies in any order you want. I suggest getting as many as possible whilst going for ...has become the Master but it doesn't really matter either way.

  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Introduction:

This Minecraft DLC will have you go back to the end to re-spawn the Enderdragon, and also collect the Enderdragon's breath. As far as trophies themselves are concerned, you don't actually have to kill the re-spawned Enderdragon. If you already have a save with the End completed, this will help save a lot of time, as otherwise you will need to do a lot more prep work.

The misc trophies here involve using an Elytra to fly through a narrow hole, and drying a wet sponge.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: This is the End. My only friend, the End. Again.

Re-spawn the Enderdragon and collect some of his breath in a bottle.

Introduction:

The majority of this Minecraft DLC Expansion can be easily done in under an hour on a fresh tutorial save. Some in town, such as staying underwater near a beacon for two minutes, using a lava bucket in a furnace, taming a horse, and using an ender pearl to travel over 100 meters.

You also need to kill a mob while wearing an matching helmet, and throw a splash poison potion at a witch. Both of these are pretty straight forward in the tutorial world as well.

The more time consuming one will likely be exploring the entire world with a map, and then placing it in an item frame. If you already have a save with most or all of the map explored, this will save you lots of time!

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Tutorial Cleanup

The majority of this Minecraft DLC Expansion can be easily done in under an hour on a fresh tutorial save. Some in town, such as staying underwater near a beacon for two minutes, using a lava bucket in a furnace, taming a horse, and using an ender pearl to travel over 100 meters.

You also need to kill a mob while wearing an matching helmet, and throw a splash poison potion at a witch. Both of these are pretty straight forward in the tutorial world as well.

During this step you should unlock the following trophies:

  • Free Diver
  • Super Fuel
  • Saddle Up
  • Beam Me Up
  • Taste of Your Own Medicine
  • Camouflage

Step 2: Map it

The more time consuming trophy will likely be exploring the entire world with a map, and then placing it in an item frame. If you already have a save with most or all of the map explored, this will save you lots of time!

On the PS4, the requirements are very different than PS3/Vita, and here you will need to create nine explorer maps that each are fully explored in a different region, and place them into a 3x3 grid of item frames.

During this step you should unlock the following trophy:

  • Map Room

Expansion Pack 5 DLC:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 1/10 with two controllers or boosting.
  • Offline trophies: 0
  • Online trophies: 7 (4, 3)
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 10-30 minutes
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: A couple of matches.
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: Hotshot requires a public match despite the trophy not specifying. Also, see the note in the Introduction regarding the Bedrock Edition.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS3, PS4 and Vita versions of this DLC all have their own lists
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.

Expansion Pack 5 contains Tumble - a minigame in Minecraft where you battle opponents by destroying the floor in order to make them fall into the lava below. These trophies are similar to the Battle Trophies (in that they are fairly easily boosted) but this time, only one other controller or person is needed. LINK

NOTE: A recent patch added custom games which allows you to change a few things such as layer amount, however the game needs to be a default snowball one to unlock trophies. All trophies now have to be done in public games, because the devs have disabled the ability to earn them in private matches.

Bedrock Edition Glitch warning:

If you have the Bedrock Edition (which is PS4 only and never came to the PS3 or Vita), then all of these trophies are unobtainable for a lot of people. This is because the 1.96 patch has broken the game and removed the Editions button so the Legacy Edition of the game cannot be accessed, therefore blocking access to the MP modes which are now exclusive to the Legacy Edition of the game. A workaround that works for some people but not others, is to buy the original retail release of the game (the one with Diamond Armour Steve on the cover) and patch that one to the latest update.

Step 1: Get the trophies

You can start a game with two players and can kick randoms whilst in the lobby by pressing but once you are in a match, it's not possible to kick out any unwanted randoms. Fortunately, both of these trophies can be done in the first round so you shouldn't have too much trouble getting them. Check the Guide itself for more details. You can combine all the trophies in one game if you wish, except for possibly Overlord. See the Guide itself for more details.

Trophies earned in this step:

  • Snow Storm
  • Hotshot
  • Back from the Dead
  • S-No Throw
  • Snowplough
  • Overlord
  • Underdog

Expansion Pack 6 DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 7 (4, 3)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 5hrs+ (depends on your luck with Frost Walker) (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: Yes, 1 - The Deep End can not be done if you set the game save to Peaceful mode.
  • Glitched trophies: 0
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Yes, Feeling ill , The Deep End and Great View From Up Here cannot be done in Peaceful mode.
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS3, PS4 and Vita versions of the game have separate lists.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: There are no cheats but playing in Creative mode or messing with certain options will disable trophies.
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Introduction:

This DLC will have you do a bunch of odd and end things. You will need to kill an Evoker in the mansion, then cheat death with the totem he dropped. Go to the End world to find Shulkers and levitate fifty blocks. You will also need to get Frost Walker boots and take a stroll over a deep ocean, kill an Elder Guardian, dye a bed and lead llamas around.

GLITCH WARNING: The 1.96 Bedrock Edition Patch glitched the game for a lot of people so they don't have access to the Editions button on the main menu and therefore can't switch to the Legacy version to use the old Tutorial World and the MP modes, thus rendering some trophies unobtainable and others buggy as hell. It's currently unknown why some people are affected by this bug and others aren't.

If you own the disc version, here is a possible workaround to fix the issue: LINK

Thanks to Terminator for supplying the glitch info and link to the workaround.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Evoker

Kill an Evoker in the mansion, then cheat death with the totem he dropped.

During this step you should unlock the following trophies:

  • Feeling ill
  • Cheating Death

Step 2: This is the end, my only friend, the end

Go to the End world to find Shulkers and levitate fifty blocks.

During this step you should unlock the following trophy:

  • Great View From Up Here

Step 3: Tutorial World Cleanup

Start up new tutorial world(s) to get Frost Walker boots and take a stroll over a deep ocean, kill an Elder Guardian, dye a bed and lead llamas around. Not in that order per se.

During this step you should unlock the following trophies:

  • Let it go!
  • So I got that going for me...
  • Change of Sheets
  • The Deep End

94 trophies ( 11  32  50  )

  • All trophies have been awarded.

Simply obtain all other trophies for a shiny new Platinum!

  • Open your inventory.

This will be one of the first trophies you obtain, simply press to open the inventory.

  • Punch a tree until the block of wood pops out.

This will be one of the first trophies you obtain, simply find a tree and mine some wood from it using .

  • Craft a workbench with four blocks of wooden planks.

For this trophy you need to mine enough wood from trees, open the crafting menu and make 4 wood planks then create a Crafting Table with them.

  • Use planks and sticks to make a pickaxe.

    See MOAR Tools

  • Construct a furnace out of eight cobblestone blocks.

To obtain this trophy you must use a crafting table to create a furnace. First mine some cobblestone (8 required), this is one of the most common materials in the game and can be found almost anywhere. Use your crafting table to create a furnace.

  • Smelt an iron ingot.

For this trophy you need to first mine some iron ore and obtain one piece of coal. Coal is quite common and can be found in caves and looks similar to a regular cobblestone block, only with little brown/black dots. Once you have them, put coal in the fuel box and iron ore in the top box using a Furnace and wait until it smelts into an iron ingot.

  • Use planks and sticks to make a hoe.

    See MOAR Tools

  • Turn wheat into bread.

This is easily done in the Tutorial world. For this trophy you must farm 3 pieces of wheat, then create bread using a Crafting Table. Wheat can easily be found in a chest in the animal pens to the right of the fountain.

  • Bake a cake using wheat, sugar, milk and eggs!

This trophy is easily obtained in the Tutorial world. To bake a cake you need 3 buckets of milk, 3 pieces of wheat, 2 lots of sugar (from sugar canes which can be found on shore lines usually) and 2 eggs. Chickens in the farm will randomly lay eggs every few minutes. Rather than explain where everything is, simply follow the video below as it is much easier with everything being shown to you.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

  • Construct a better pickaxe.

To obtain this trophy you need to craft a Stone pickaxe with 3 cobblestones and 2 sticks using a Crafting Table. Note: None of the other pickaxe variants will unlock this trophy.

  • Catch and cook a fish!

Despite what the trophy description says, you do not have to actually catch your own fish. In the farm area of the Tutorial world there is a chest with Raw Fish inside, take these and cook one using a furnace to pop the trophy.

  • Travel by minecart to a point at least 500m in a single direction from where you started.

This is the most time consuming trophy in the game depending on whether you use the Tutorial world or boost it.

You must construct a Railway that extends for 500m at least in a single direction, for this you will need to mine for a lot of materials. You will need 3 Redstones, 34 sticks, 18 gold ingots and 186 iron ingots, then you need to use these to craft 18 Powered Rails and 496 Normal Rails using a crafting table. You can also join another players game and ride their railway for the trophy or importing a world from the PS3 or Vita and riding one in that.

  • Use planks and sticks to make a sword.

For this trophy you need to craft a sword using 2 wooden planks and a stick at a Crafting Table.

  • Attack and destroy a monster.

Self explanatory. At night, various hostile creatures will spawn across the wilderness. Spiders, Skeletons, Zombies and Creepers are most commonly found, simply kill one of these to pop the trophy.

  • Harvest some leather.

For this trophy you must kill a cow so it drops leather then you must pick it up, this may require a few tries as they don't always drop it. You can find some cows in the farm area to the left of the fountain in the tutorial.

  • Use a saddle to ride a pig, then have the pig get hurt from fall damage while riding it.

This trophy can be rather troublesome. First of all you must obtain a saddle, one of which can be found in the main Tutorial area in the chest by the horse pen. You now need to find a pig in the farm area and trap it in a 2x2 square so it won't jump out and run away, then you have to dig underneath the pig, making a pitfall so to speak but make it about 9-10 blocks deep. You need to dig under the pig but make sure there is a 1 block layer between the pit and the pig. Hop on the pig and dig the ground underneath so the Pig falls while you are riding it, earning the trophy!

Alternatively, see this video by Superbuu3 if you cannot get this method to work for you but it requires a bit of luck as pigs can behave erratically:

  • Befriend five wolves.

For this trophy you need to give five wolves bones to tame them. You should see some in the pen, to the right of the fountain in the main Tutorial area. Bones can be found in a chest in the same area or by killing skeletons. Save your game and use to give them a bone until the red collar appears around their neck and they sit up like a domesticated dog. Now quit the game without saving (either by disabling the Autosave then choosing the "quit without saving" option or closing the Application) then reload and tame them again. Rinse and repeat until you have the trophy.

  • Construct one type of each tool (one pickaxe, one spade, one axe and one hoe).

For this trophy you need to mine plenty of wood and create a crafting table and about 12 sticks and use this to create a Pickaxe, Shovel, Axe and a Hoe. You will also obtain the below trophies whilst doing this if you haven't done so already:

    Time To Mine!
    Time To Farm!
    Time To Strike!

Alternatively, see this video from Superbuu3 which details have to get this and several other trophies whilst doing so:

  • Construct a Dispenser.

For this trophy you need 7 cobblestones, 1 Bow, 1 Redstone and a Crafting Table. All of these materials can be found easily in the tutorial area in chests and by mining. Redstone and string can be found past the fountain, in a building with double doors a little to the north. Alternatively, see this video by Superbuu3 outlining exactly how to get this in the Tutorial world:

  • Construct a Nether Portal.

To create a Nether Portal you need Flint and Steel, which is crafted using an Iron Ingot and Flint (found by mining gravel) and at least 10 Obsidian blocks. This has to be a minimum size of 4x5 and can be a maximum of 23x23 but it must be rectangular shaped to work. If you make your portal large enough then there is a chance Ghasts will come through it, making Return to Sender slightly easier. Also ensure you craft a Diamond Pickaxe before attempting this so you can mine Obsidian.

You can find a Nether Portal in the Tutorial world at X: -265, Y: 71, Z: -368, mine one block of Obsidian from the portal then put it back and use your Flint and Steel to activate it and earn the trophy!

  • Kill a skeleton with an arrow from more than 50 meters.

I did this in the Tutorial world. Grab some string and craft a bow using sticks. There is no known set location of arrows on the tutorial, the best way is just to kill several skeletons for them instead. Now mine the cobblestone fences in the Fountain area, wait until night time and find a lone skeleton and trap using the fences it so it cannot escape/jump out, having armour and food will help as skeletons can kill you fast otherwise. Build more blocks on top of the fences in case the sun rises and leave a gap in the centre where your arrows can fire through. After this I walked just over 50 blocks back, saved my game and just kept firing until I killed the skeleton, make sure to use non elemental arrows because if fire kills the skeleton then it doesn't count. You can use a second player to watch where your arrows are landing so you can adjust your aim accordingly.

Superbuu3 shows a great method with a quick and easy setup below, it is from an old tutorial world but the same strategy still applies:

Note: There have been several reports of the trophy not unlocking in the Vita version, it is still obtainable but there seems to be no obvious cause of the glitch so keep trying and it will eventually pop.

  • Acquire diamonds with your iron tools.

This is easy to obtain in the Tutorial, use the Iron from the chest by the beacon to craft an Iron Pickaxe. Now proceed to co-ordinates X: 4, Y: 71: Z: 329 and mine the Sandstone to reveal Diamond blocks underneath, mine these and break them down in to diamonds then throw them on the floor and pick them up for the trophy. Alternatively you can have another player give you some diamonds as this will also unlock the trophy.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

  • Destroy a Ghast with a fireball.

This can be a somewhat troublesome trophy. Ghasts are the very large floating monsters in the Nether which shoot fireballs at you from a distance. To unlock this trophy you must successfully deflect a fireball by swiping at it (press ) so it kills the Ghast that fired it. This may take a few attempts to get the timing right but you only need to hit it once to kill it.

See this video by Superbuu3 (it's based on a prior Tutorial world but the principle is the same):

  • Relieve a Blaze of its rod.

For this trophy you need to kill a Blaze which are the yellow floating creatures, you may need to kill several before one drops a rod. You can find these creatures in Nether Strongholds which are large Fortress structures found in the Nether, you may need to explore for a while before you find one. The Blaze are yellow creatures which float in the air and attack with fire, usually there will be a spawn cage nearby which churns a few of these out regularly. See this video by DrMan33 around the 10:25 mark, he also shows you the correct way in to the Nether to encounter the Blaze:

  • Brew a potion.

You will unlock this trophy when going for Staying Frosty so refer to that for more information.

  • Enter an End Portal.

There is only one End Portal per world and they are found in Strongholds, in the Tutorial world it is located at co-ordinates X: 15 Y: 30 Z: 27.

In order to activate an End Portal you need 7 Eyes of Ender (the portal has 5 already inserted), which are created using Ender Pearls and Blaze Powder. Ender Pearls are dropped from killing Endermen and Blaze Power from Blaze's. If you want to farm Endermen then make sure to save the game before killing one in case you do not get a drop but you can make this easier by having a Sword enchanted with looting so you have a chance at Endermen/Blaze's dropping multiple pearls/rods at once. Endermen are easier to spot at night in desert biomes and if you wear a Pumpkin on your head they can't teleport away when you attack them. You can also build a shelter out of cobblestone 3 blocks wide, 3 blocks high and the roof 4 blocks long, lure an Endermen close and hide in the shelter and attack him without fear of being hit yourself.

An alternative method of obtaining Eyes of Ender is to mine all the emerald blocks around the beacon, and break these down in to emeralds, you will easily have 100+ emeralds and some purple robed villagers will trade these for Eyes of Ender, this is random but a far quicker way to accumulate the eyes rather than grinding monster kills.

Once you have 9 eyes, equip them and place them in the slots on the portal, press to activate it then jump in for the trophy. You can also join a friends game and jump in to their portal for the trophy.

    Glitch Warning

There is a small chance the End Portal will not spawn correctly or be partially inside a wall, meaning you cannot activate it. There is no way to repair this and the only workaround is to start a new world but fortunately this glitch is rare, though it may be worth checking the portal has spawned correctly before farming for Eyes of Ender. Thanks to Terminator for pointing this out.

  • Kill the Enderdragon.

The Enderdragon acts as an end game boss after entering the End Portal, it's not too difficult to kill but I recommend doing this in Peaceful Mode so Endermen don't spawn.

First you must make your way to the top of each tower and destroy the purple devices healing it, bring some cobblestone so you can easily scale each tower, build a few blocks behind you as well before destroying the tower so that the blast does not knock you off the platform.

Afterwards you can either shoot the dragon with lots and lots of arrows or move to the middle where he hovers over and repeatedly hack away at him with your sword (need to place a few blocks down to reach) until he flies away, he will come back to the same point over and over. Rinse and repeat until you have slain the dragon.

    Note:

You can actually unlock this trophy without killing the Ender Dragon. If you join someone else's world then you can simply jump through the Portal after the dragon has been killed to exit The End and the trophy will pop.

The Enderdragon is not very hard to kill if you are well equipped with diamond gear but here is a video by Superbuu3 showing an easy method for taking him down:

  • Construct an Enchantment Table.

To get this trophy you need to make an Enchanting Table and to do that, you need a Book, 4 Obsidian Blocks and 2 Diamonds (see DIAMONDS!). You can get a books by mining the bookshelves in the Enchanting Table room in the tutorial just North-East of the fountain, you can mine the Obsidian from the Nether Portal if you want or find some underground, usually near Lava. You can create your own by throwing a Bucket of water on lava to form Obsidian blocks (Buckets are made with 3 iron ingots). Once you have everything then you can create one at a crafting table.

DLC: Expansion Pack 1

8 trophies

  • Deal nine hearts of damage in a single hit.

For this trophy you will need a Diamond Sword (see DIAMONDS!), preferably with an enchantment such as Sharpness or Smite, then use it on an enemy or animal and you should get the trophy. As of update 1.22, this trophy is considerably more annoying to obtain because the enchanting mechanic has been completely revamped. There is now no overly simple way of doing it, because it requires enchanting a Diamond Sword and creating a potion that grants you a temporary damage bonus. The best way is to use this video from DrMan33, from around 13:30 onwards:

  • Build some bookshelves to improve your enchantment table.

In order to obtain this trophy you must acquire 6 wood planks and 3 books, you can mine the bookshelves in the Enchanting Table room for books this room is directly left from the beacon.

  • Discover 17 of 40 biomes

s of update 1.22, there are now a whopping 40 biomes but you need only discover 17 of them for the trophy, which massively increases the chances that it will unlock naturally for you whilst going for all other trophies. Biomes are the different types of environments explorable in Minecraft and you may explore most of the required biomes just by playing naturally, you can find a list of biomes here: LINK.

    Notes:

Players seem to have more difficulty getting this trophy on the Vita version for unknown reasons but this is circumvented by the increase in the number of biomes. Another thing to note is that any seeds you might find on Google or other sources for specific biomes will likely not spawn you in the correct worlds as of update 1.22.

  • Breed two cows with wheat.

This trophy can be easily obtained in the Tutorial world. From the Fountain, go to the right and you will see two cows in a pen, grab some wheat from the chest in the middle and feed them it with until they huddle together then the trophy will pop. In the Tutorial world you can sometimes encounter an issue where the game will not allow you to breed any cows, saying you have reached the breeding limit. You must kill a lot of animals in the tutorial if this happens to you.

See this video by Superbuu3 showing off this glitch and a workaround for it:

  • Throw diamonds at another player.

    (4)

This can either be obtained with an online partner or in splitscreen. To do this you must equip diamonds and press to 'throw' them at the other player. See DIAMONDS! for confirmed locations in the tutorial. It has been noted you can get this trophy solo without the need for another controller. Thanks to optimusmart for confirming the following:

Open your world with your required PSN account then hold the button, select switch user, select another user or guest on your PS4 then press to join the game of your required account you have already opened previously. The game will now be in splitscreen mode, now hold the button, switch user again, this time back to your required account. Now just throw some diamonds at your own secondary guest or user you have in your world.

Note: This trophy must be obtained with another online player on the Vita version due to the lack of a splitscreen mode, you can find a partner in the boosting thread here: LINK.

  • Cook and eat a pork chop.

This is very simple. Run around and lose some stamina then in the tutorial farm area, kill one of the pigs for a pork chop then cook it in a furnace and eat it once it's cooked. Note: You cannot easily unlock this on Peaceful difficulty so do it on Easy instead.

  • Play for 100 days.

Note - As of update 1.31 this has now been fixed, however you will need to delete ALL save files and spend another 33 hours in a new world as it is not retroactive.

This trophy requires you to play for 100 in-game days, each is a full 20 minutes, being equivalent to 33 hours play time, this will likely be the last trophy you obtain. Unfortunately there is no way to speed this up or manipulate the trophy so you must allow the full 100 days pass for it to unlock normally. You can either play naturally or leave your controller and the game idle until it pops, make sure to set the game to Peaceful Mode if leaving it idle. The tutorial starts at 12 o'clock (midday) so this trophy should pop at that time on either your 100th or 101st day.

Sleeping during the night to skip do the next day does not speed up progress toward the trophy, thanks to optimusmart for confirming this.

  • Kill a creeper with arrows.

Self explanatory. Grab the string from the chest in the building with double doors north of the fountain and craft a bow using that and some sticks, kill some skeletons to get some arrows. Now find a creeper at night and kill it with your non-elemental bow because fire kills won't count.

DLC: Expansion Pack 2

7 trophies

  • Mine or purchase 30 Emeralds.

For this trophy you must either mine or purchase 30 Emeralds. There are a few ways to do this, you can either mine away until you find 30 or you can get this in the Tutorial world by trading the paper in the chest by the Villager north of the fountain. Simply take the paper, save the game, trade the paper with the Villager, then quit without saving. Now reload your world and keep trading the paper until you have done so 30 times for the trophy, this is tedious but by far the fastest method.

You can also get this by trading books with the villagers around this area. There are an abundance of book cases to smash around in the vicinity so you can rack up Emeralds very quickly. I recommend this method since you can then trade these Emeralds with the Purple Robed Villagers for Eyes of Ender, which makes obtaining The End? a lot faster. It does seem random if a villager will offer the Eyes or ask for other items first so you may need to save and reload the game, because this sometimes causes the items they offer for trade to change.

See this video by Superbuu3 showing the same method as described above:

Do note though that you can not get this trophy by mining all the Emerald blocks surrounding the Beacon, converting them into individual Emeralds then dropping them and picking them up again.

  • Craft and place a Flower Pot.

This trophy is obtained by crafting a Flower Pot and placing it anywhere. You can find some Clay easily in the tutorial area just opposite the building with the redstone signs, north of the fountain, there is a door surrounded by clay blocks. Once you have smelted enough clay to form 3 bricks, you can craft those into a Flower Pot then place it somewhere.

  • Craft and place a sign.

To create a sign you need 6 wooden planks and a stick, then you can craft one at a Crafting Table and place it anywhere you like.

  • Stop starvation using Rotten Flesh.

For this trophy you must wait until your energy/food bar is depleted then eat some Rotten Flesh to restore it, which is obtained from killing zombies. You can quickly deplete your energy by jumping and sprinting around for the sake of the trophy but you cannot earn this on Peaceful difficulty because your stamina doesn't deplete.

  • Use Shears to obtain wool from a sheep.

Shears are made using 2 Iron Ingots at a Crafting Table, once you have a pair use them on a sheep with to get wool. You can find 5 iron ingots from the chest by the beacon and some sheep in the farm area to the right of the fountain.

  • Gather all 16 colors of wool.

For this trophy you have to gather all 16 colours of wool, in order to do this you have to find the necessary items to craft them. See below for the different colours of wool and how to acquire the materials required to create them:

White - The most common type of wool and can be found on most sheep
Red - Made from Tulips, Rose Bushes or Poppies
Yellow - Yellow flowers (found in fields)
    Green - Cactus (desert biomes)
Orange - Red & yellow dye
Blue - Lazpis Lazuli (you can find some in the chest in the room with the enchanting table)
Light Blue - Lapis Lazuli & Bone Dye (Bone dye )
Magenta - Purple & pink dye
Pink - Red dye & bone meal (bone meal acquired from skeleton bones)
Light Gray - 2 bone meal & an ink sac
    Black- Ink sac (kill squids)
Brown - Cocoa beans (found in cocoa pods in jungle biomes)
Cyan - Green dye & Lapis Lazuli (you can find a block of this in the house at X: 26, Y: 69, Z: -42)
Purple - Red dye & Lapis Lazuli (you can find a block of this in the house at X: 26, Y: 69, Z: -42)
Gray - Ink sac & bone meal
Lime - Green dye & bone dye (you can find a block of this in the house at X: 26, Y: 69, Z: -42)

Thanks to superbuu3 there is an extremely quick and easy method of obtaining this on the tutorial as one of the villagers will offer all 16 colours of wool if you trade emeralds for his sheers, see video below.

  • Swim in lava while having the Fire Resistance effect.

You get this trophy by brewing a Potion of Fire Resistance, then drinking it and standing in a pool of lava while the effect is active. This can be obtained right away in the tutorial, go directly North of the fountain then left to the potion shop. Take the Bottles, Nether Warts and Magma Cream from the chest. Now fill up the bottles with water by pressing when facing the containers and place them in the 3 lower slots on the Brewing Stand, place Nether Warts at the top and wait for it to brew. Remove the Warts and add the magma cream and when that brews you will have fire resistance potions. After all that, find some lava (there is some by the Anvil in the fountain area of the tutorial world) and drink the potion then stand in the lava and the trophy will be yours.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

DLC: Expansion Pack 3

7 trophies

  • Mine 1,728 Cobblestone and place it in a chest.

I did this in the Tutorial world in the area with the beacon to the North of the fountain. Mine until your inventory is full of Cobblestone then place all of it into a single chest and the trophy will pop. You cannot use a friend's chest full of Cobblestone to get the trophy, you must mine the Cobblestone yourself. Thanks to optimusmart for confirming this.

  • Smelt wood trunks using charcoal to make more charcoal.

To obtain this trophy you need smelt wood with charcoal in a Furnace. To get charcoal: Smelt any two different types of wood then remove the wood from the fuel box and replace it with the charcoal and when that Smelts, you will have more charcoal and the trophy.

  • Play a music disc in a Jukebox.

This is easily obtained early on in the Tutorial. Just after spawning, run forward and you will come up to the a Fountain, there is a chest right in front of it with a Jukebox and a music disc, simply place the box and play the disc for the trophy.

  • Create an Iron Golem.

Note: Ensure you are building your Golem outside with a clear view of the sky, there have been reports of it not unlocking if you make one inside of a cave or building.

This is also easily obtained early on in the Tutorial. For this trophy you need 4 blocks of iron which are crafted with 9 iron ingots, you can find some blocks at the following co-ordinates:

    X: 64, Y: 66, Z: -58
    X: 312, Y: 67, Z: 153
    X: 352, Y: 66, Z: 96
    X: 328, Y: 66, Z: 119

With your iron blocks in-hand, place one block on the bottom, one on top of that then place one on either side of the top block. Now place a Pumpkin (mine one in the farm to the left of the fountain) on top to create the Golem. You can also join a friends' game who has the body already built then all you have to do is place the head.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

  • Wear a full suit of Iron armor.

This trophy can be obtained very quickly in the Tutorial world. From the fountain, go directly North and past the merchant villager to the left and just after the building with red bricks you will see a tower to the right locked by an iron door. Simply mine the door, go up the stairs and you will find a full suit of Iron Armour. Just mine this and equip all of it to unlock the trophy.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

  • Cure a zombie villager.

This is possibly the most complex trophy in the game, because you need to cure a Zombie villager by using a Splash Potion of Weakness then feeding it a Golden Apple.

To brew a Splash Potion of Weakness you will first need to make a Mundane Potion, use a bottle of water, magma cream and then mix that with a Fermented Spider Eye for a Potion of Weakness. You then need to kill a creeper for gun power, mix that with the newly created potion in order to make it a Splash Potion of Weakness.

Now you need to make a Golden Apple, this is made from an Apple and 8 Gold Ingots. You can find apples on the oak trees in the tutorial village and for gold mine at X: 97, Y 31, Z: -120 then craft these in to ingots. Now use a crafting table to make the Golden Apple

Now you need to find a Zombie Villager, they are usually found around Villages but can be rarely found roaming around other areas. You can 'create' one yourself by setting the game to hard mode and leading a zombie to a Village area and having it attack a villager to turn him in to a zombie. You will need to trap the zombie and the villager for this to work so the he won't escape. Thanks to optimusmart for confirming this method.

Whichever method you use, throw the Splash potion at it then equip the apple and press to feed it. It used to be that the trophy popped once the potion was first applied but an unknown patch has changed all that so it pops after the effects have worn off.

    See this video by Superbuu3:

  • Tame an Ocelot.

Glitched - As of update 1.22, there have been numerous reports of this trophy being very glitchy and not unlocking. The cause of the problem is unknown but the trophy is still obtainable, just keep trying and it should eventually pop.

The recent Update 1.24 has seemingly made this problem even worse due to the breeding limit error message, all you can do is keep creating a new tutorial world and hope you do not get the error message, otherwise you may need to delete and reinstall the game refusing any updates and try to tame the ocelots on the original tutorial.

For this trophy you will need to feed an Ocelot some raw fish in order to Tame it. This can be done in the Tutorial world because there are two Ocelots in a Pen in the farm area. Be careful not to open the gates as the Ocelots will try to escape. Firstly grab the raw fish from the nearby chest, wait by the fence for one of the Ocelots to come to you, feed it a fish and with a bit of luck it will turn in to a cat and give you the trophy, try not to make eye contact as it may run away. This make take several attempts to pull off, keep trying and it will eventually work.

Here is a workaround from Terminator if you suffer from the breeding limit glitch.

1: Save your game and disable the auto save.
2: Pick up the Raw Fish from the chest near the Ocelot enclosure.
3: Let the Ocelots out of their enclosure.
4: Now the tricky part - Follow one of them until you see them stop, now you must look away slightly but keep the Raw Fish in your hand. If done correctly, the Ocelot will slowly come up to you and allow you to feed them.
5: If you pulled off step 4 correctly, then keep on feeding the Ocelot until it changes into a Cat.

If the above doesn't work for you then see the following video from Superbuu3:

DLC: Expansion Pack 4

6 trophies

  • Spawn the Wither.

Note that you can also join another player's game and use their materials to spawn the Wither if they have one setup but can also get this trophy by being in the world when someone else spawns a Wither.

For this trophy you are tasked with spawning the Wither. In order to accomplish this you will 4x Soul Sand and 3x Wither Skull, the former is found in abundance in the Nether and the latter is dropped from Wither Skeletons which are also found in the Nether. You can find a Skull in the tutorial at X: -320, Y: 122, Z: -146 and you should use the item duplication glitch method mentioned in Beaconator to get another two. Once you have the required materials then you need to place the sand in a T block fashion with 2 blocks on top of each other and 1 on either end, you then need to place the 3 skulls on top of the sand and the Wither will spawn shortly after. It should look like this:

  • Kill the Wither.

For this trophy you first need to first spawn the Wither then kill it but make sure you are doing this on Easy difficulty and, to make it easier, spawning it in the Normal world and not the Nether.

In terms of taking on the Wither I recommend using some/all of the following setup:

    • Diamond Sword - Preferably enchanted with Sharpness/Smite
    • Diamond Armour - Protection/Blast Protection enchantments
    • Bow - Power/Infinity enchantments
    • Potion of Healing
    • Potion of Strength
    • Enchanted Golden Apple (see Overpowered)

The above enchantments are not necessarily required but will help a lot.

As soon as the Wither spawns make sure you run away as it will cause a huge explosion which can easily kill you, do not try to damage it whilst it grows as it is invincible at this point. Afterwards, keep your distance and fire as many arrows at it as possible and use your potions and apples if needed. When the Wither's health is reduced to 50%, it will begin to float at player level and become immune to arrows so you will have to finish it off using your sword but use your strength potion as well and keep hacking away until it is defeated.

See the following video by mcspotlights on how to kill the Wither:

  • Create and fully power a Beacon.

Note that you can also join another player's game and place one block on their incomplete beacon to unlock the trophy or just be in the world when someone else completes it.

This is the most time consuming trophy in the set by far because you are tasked with creating a Beacon and fully powering it up. To create a Beacon you need a Nether Star which is obtained from killing the Wither, plus 3 blocks of obsidian and 5 blocks of glass.

For the sake of this trophy we will use the Tutorial World's Beacon but it is not fully powered up so take the beacon in the main village and mine all 34 of its Emerald blocks. In order to full power up a Beacon, you are going to need a whopping 164 blocks of Iron/Gold/Diamond/Emerald or any combination of them. This means you will have to mine for a staggering 1476 total ingots to make the blocks. Thankfully the tutorial at least provides you with some pre-made blocks, 34 Emerald blocks from the Beacon, 16 Gold blocks in the Cathedral just North West of the main village, and 26 Diamond blocks at X: 4, Y: 71: Z: 329 totalling 56 blocks. This is my completed beacon:

You can either mine the rest which will take several hours or use the following duplication glitch which I highly recommend. Credit to KryAON for the video:

  • Eat a Notch Apple.

For this trophy you need to make an Enchanted Golden Apple. You need will first need an Apple (which has a 5% drop chance by mining the leaves off Oak Wood trees) and 9 Gold Blocks. For the Gold Blocks simply go to the Cathedral which is to the North West of the tutorial village at X: -115, Y: 69, Z: -80 and in the back, there are 16 Gold Blocks in the floor. Simply take these to a Crafting Table and make the apple then eat it to unlock the trophy.

  • Dye all 4 unique pieces of Leather Armor.

For this trophy you need to create all 4 pieces of leather armour and then dye each piece of it with a colour of your choice. First you will need to obtain enough Leather to make the armour (24 pieces to be exact) and you can get it from killing Cows. Once you have enough, use a Crafting Table to make the armour and then grab some poppies which you can find in fields, then use the crafting menu to make it into rose red dye. In your inventory, grab the 4 pieces of dye then hover over each piece of armour and press to dye them and the trophy will pop once the last piece has been dyed.

You can also use this method courtesy of Tables:

For Tie Dye Outfit, you can use the 'quit without saving' exploit because this way you don't need to get 24 pieces of leathers, just 8. Create one type of armour, dye it then quit without saving. Now rinse and repeat for the other 3 pieces.

  • Bounce 30 blocks upward off a Slime Block.

For this trophy you need to jump from a minimum height 90 blocks on to a block of slime so that you bounce at least 30 blocks high off of it. This is very easily achieved in the Tutorial world, mine 90 blocks of cobblestone and go to X: 85, Y: 68, Z: -13 in the main village. Now place the cobblestone beneath you whilst you jump, until you have used all of and are 90 blocks high then drop off on to the slime blocks below and you will unlock the trophy. See my video for a visual walkthrough:

DLC: Expansion Pack 5

6 trophies

  • Win a public Battle mini game.

    See ...has become the Master.

  • Win 3 public Battle mini games in a row.

Setup a Public game with whatever settings you desire but I recommend short rounds and Competitive mode because it's less popular than Casual, then defeat the other players by any means necessary. Randoms can join your game and if they do, then press the , highlight the player(s) and press to kick them but as of update 1.35, only the host can kick people and even then only when in the pre-match lobby. You must win 3 consecutive rounds without quitting the game or exiting to the main menu as it will break your streak.

The Vita version can be prone to freezing in the Battle game, which is annoying but stick with it and you should be fine.

For the Vita version, please refer to the boosting thread to find other players: LINK.

  • Take 100 damage in a round of a public Battle game.

For this trophy you must have another player keep damaging you until you have taken 100 damage. Make sure the other player doesn't kill you and allows you time to recover using food or potions from chests until they damage you again. This should only take a few minutes to unlock.

This can be obtained without another players help but you will still need an extra controller or switch users on PS4 to use splitscreen, on the Vita you will still need another players help. Thanks to kankuro for highlighting the below:

Start a public Battle game and once the Battle starts, jump in to some fire and let it damage you until you're almost dead, then jump into some water and allow your health to recover using food/potions. Each time you will take around 30 damage, rinse repeat another 3 times and you will get the trophy solo without any help.

  • Kill 2 players in a round of public Battle mini game using a bow and arrow.

You need at least two other players or 3 controllers for this trophy. Simply start up a game with 3 players or more and have the player going for the trophy kill the other two using a bow and arrow. You may need to loot chests and wait until they spawn more items to get a bow and at lest 6 arrows to kill the other players.

  • Kill a player while you are starving in a Battle mini game.

You need to exhaust the stamina bar to the right of your health by either taking damage and recovering or running/jumping around. Once you begin to starve and lose health, quickly kill the other player to unlock the trophy.

  • Open every chest in a Battle mini game arena in one round.

This trophy can be a pain if you don't know where the chests are on any of the maps. Start a game then select the cavern map by using and voting for it. Now follow the below video which shows you all chest locations. Also the in game brightness isn't great, turn it up if you are having trouble with visibility. I did this in splitscreen as the second player and it pops when I open the chest at the end of the recording but you won't see the notification. I do make a couple of mistakes and open some of the chests a second time but you will be fine as long as you open the same chests I do.

DLC: Expansion Pack 6

4 trophies

  • Respawn the Enderdragon.

If you already have a save from killing the original Enderdragon and have lots of Ender Pearls, just jump down to the appropriate spot in this Guide to see where to place the end crystals. If you need more Ender Pearls, just head back to the end on Easy+ and kill some Endermen (if you build a little sun-umbrella stand with two square block space under it, the Endermen can't hit you due to their height but you can hit them).

Now if you are starting fresh in the tutorial world:

Ender pearls: Go to the villagers area, and grab some emeralds from the chest. cancel out of the tutorial, move away, come back and grab the emeralds several more times. If you collect hundreds of emeralds even better. Now walk into the house to the left of the chest and speak with the Cleric. Buy the emerald with the 10 gold ingots from the Cleric, then back out. After the cleric sparkles, buy Lapis Lazuli with the emerald then back out. After he sparkles again, buy the Ender pearl (will vary between 4 and 7 emeralds per ender pearl). You will need a bear minimum of 17 Ender pearl if you are going for this trophy and the Shulker (12 Eyes for the end portal + 4 more for the End Crystals + 1 more to enter the End World). Having a pile of extras allows you to have an easier time with the Shulker run and can also be used to help with the dragon fight if you have good aim. Also grab yourself a bed from one of the houses in the village.

Armor and weapons: Head to the beacon tutorial chest and grab all the silver. cancel out of the tutorial, move away, come back and grab the silver several more times. Alternatively, you can mine the diamond bricks that shows up in the tutorial as the giant pickaxe. Use the silver or diamond to craft a full suit of armor and some pickaxes. Also grab a trident from the trident tutorial room. You can optionally use the enchantment room and/or anvil rooms to upgrade any of the armor or weapons.

Other setup gear: Go to the potion brewing chest and grab the empty bottles, Ghast tears and blaze powders. You can repeat the tutorial glitch to collect at minimum 16 blaze powders, 4 ghast tears and a single empty bottle. You will also need 28 glass, which you can buy from the librarian with emeralds (after buying an emerald with gold, then a bookshelf) or you can mine sand and heat it in a furnace. Now find a crafting table and under Tools and Weapons, craft at minimum 16 eyes of Ender, then under mechanisms, craft 4 end crystals. Grabbing some food is also helpful, feel free to grab everything from the farming area, which has carrots, potatoes etc.

Now to find the End world in the tutorial, head out of town and dig down in the first area to the left outside of town. Please watch this video for the exact location. Credit to IamArghus for the video:

Now if this is your first time entering the End, you need to carefully place down the 12 Eyes of Ender. I also advise placing down the bed near the entrance, this is so that even if you get killed by the dragon, you will just respawn right next to the end and can easily recollect your gear and continue on with the fight no problem. Now jump into the portal and as soon as the dragon shoots down a fireball, run over with your glass bottle and collect some Dragon's Breath for the You Need a Mint trophy.

If you have good pickaxes and a stack of extra ender pearls with good aim, the dragon fight is simple. You can build up a little stack to the shortest tower and break the crystal up top. Use the ender pearl to try to teleport to the next tower, if you are good aiming with accounting for the arch in your throw (you can save and reload). After breaking all eight healing crystals, build little climbable stands for yourself on each side of the center tower using the blocks you can mine here (otherwise the dragon fire will destroy it). Whichever side doesn't have dragon breath, run up on that side and hit the dragon with the trident. Killing the Enderdragon for the first time will unlock The End. After he is dead, place the 4 End Crystals to respawn him. Credit to Kysen for the video:

  • Collect Dragon's Breath in a Glass Bottle.

See The End... Again... for info on how to respawn the Enderdragon. The Enderdragon will shoot purple fire often so run over to it with an empty bottle and press to collect this.

  • Use an Elytra to fly through a 1 by 1 gap while moving faster than 40 m/s.

In the tutorial world, just follow the signs to get the Elytra wings. Now mine a bunch of blocks and build a tower just above water as shown in the video. Don't press until you are very close to the bottom, otherwise you will start gliding to the side.

Credit to Catmanjoe for the method and video.

  • Dry a Sponge in a Furnace.

It is possible to get a Sponge that is organically generated in an ocean monument room but more directly thou, the Elder Guardian you defeat for The Deep End will 100% drop a Wet Sponge so place in a furnace with a heat source e.g. a lava bucket, coal, dried kelp block, boat etc.

DLC: Expansion Pack 7

7 trophies

  • Stay underwater for 2 minutes.

In the Tutorial World, walk straight forward and into the middle of the water area for a conduit tutorial. Simply craft the conduit, place it on the wooden block, then mine the wooden block to activate the beacon (you will also unlock Moskstraumen from DLC 7. Now just stay underwater for a couple of minutes until this pops.

  • Power a Furnace with Lava.

In the Tutorial World, walk forward till you get to the villagers area with the anvil and emerald signs. In the Anvil tutorial chest there is a lava bucket for you to take. Now head down to the aquatic area and break up some kelp blocks. In the aquatic area there is also a furnace, toss both the kelp and lava bucket in the furnace to unlock both this trophy and Alternative Fuel from DLC 7.

  • Tame a Horse.

In the Tutorial World, walk straight forward and under the giant pickaxe, then make a hard right and walk up the stairs to find the stable. There are many bales of hay which you should smash and collect some of. Now feed and tame a llama to unlock this (despite the trophy saying it's for a horse).

  • Poison a Witch with a Splash Potion.

In the Tutorial World, head to the potion tutorial room and in the chest take 3 empty bottles, 10 blaze powder and a single Ghast tear. Fill 3 empty bottles in the nearby water vats. Now use the brewing stand to place the blaze powder on the left, then quick move the water bottles and Ghast tear so it starts brewing Mundane potions. Go upstairs to the Fireworks chest and grab a single gunpowder, return to the brewing stand and replace the Ghast tears with gunpowder to create Mundane Splash Potions. Now go find/kill spiders till you get a spider eye, return to the brewing stand and replace the gunpowder with Spider Eye to create Splash Potions of Poison. Now take the three potions and you will need to start your witch hunt.

To easily find a Witch in the Tutorial World, follow the water straight out of town, make a right to go over the water fall and off to the side there is a smaller waterfall area with a witch head. On the map this is at X:-117, Y:52, Z:-17 where there is a waterfall you can jump up with a witch waiting there for you. Sometimes you will need to look in the houses to find the witch. Once you find a Witch, throw the Splash Potion of Poison at her then the trophy will pop.

  • Teleport over 100 meters from a single throw of an Ender Pearl.

In the Tutorial World, head to the beacon tutorial chest and grab at least the gold block. Press to cancel out of the tutorial, then move away, come back and grab at least one more gold block. For this trophy all you need are two gold blocks. Now head down the stairs to the crafting table and smelt your gold blocks into gold bars under decorations. Now go to the villagers area and grab some emeralds from the chest, then walk into the house to the left of the chest and speak with the Cleric. Buy the emerald with the 10 gold ingots from the Cleric then back out. After the cleric sparkles, buy Lapis Lazuli with the emerald and back out. After he sparkles again, buy the Ender Pearl (will vary between 4 and 7 emeralds per-Ender Pearl).

Now mine (or otherwise generate) 100 blocks. Keep jumping while placing the blocks under your feet so you are standing on a pile of 100 blocks, then toss the ender pearl down below to be teleported to ground and pop the trophy.

  • Place a fully explored Map into an Item Frame.

A good way to start this one off is to use the village tutorial glitch to grab a bunch of paper. One option is to craft compasses by glitch grabbing iron blocks/ingots from the beacon tutorial and redstone from the mechanism tutorial. Another option is to straight up buy the compasses from a cartographer villager.

An empty locator map requires 8 paper and a compass. You will need 9 locator maps so you need 72 paper and 9 compasses. If you are crafting the compasses, each compass requires 4 iron ingots and 1 redstone, so you need a total of 36 iron ingots and 9 redstone. To craft an item frame, you will need 8 sticks and a single piece of leather. You need 9 item frames so you will need 72 sticks and 9 pieces of leather to craft them all. You can create sticks from wooden blocks and get leather by killing cows, horses etc.

Now that you have 9 locator maps, you need to use each map in a different region of the map so that each locator map covers a distinct area of the overall world. Now place these fully explored locator maps in a 3x3 grid of items frames in the correct position so that looking at it will display the entire world map.

Here is a video by PerfectTarget07 explaining and showing the complete process:

  • Kill a Mob while wearing the same type of Mob Head.

In the Tutorial World, follow the signs to the banner tutorial room. In a chest here you will find a Wither Skeleton Skull and a Creeper Head. Take one of each, equipping one, grabbing a trident and some armor, then head out of town looking for either a Wither Skeleton or a Creeper. When you find either one, put on the matching helmet and kill the enemy. For Creepers, you have to be the one to kill, because if they suicide explode then it won't count. You can try the passive aggressive method of hitting the Creeper, moving far enough away so it stops blinking, then moving back in to hit again.

DLC: Expansion Pack 8

7 trophies

  • Win 3 rounds in a row after one of the opponents has won 2 rounds.

This is much easier if boosted with either another person or two controllers. Whoever is going for the trophy can simply jump into the lava twice in order to give the opponent a 2-0 lead. Now get the other person to jump into the lava 3 times in a row to win the game, then the trophy will pop. If you like, you can combine the rounds you win with some of the other trophies below to save time.

  • Win a single round of Snowball Tumble without throwing any Snowballs.

This is far easier to get if boosted with either one other controller or another person. Simply get your opponent to jump into the lava straight away and, providing you haven't thrown any snowballs, this will unlock.

  • Hit a single Player with 25 Snowballs in a single public round.

This is easy but has to be done in a public game. Try to be the only two people in the game to prevent others from disrupting you, then just keep hitting the other person with snowballs until this unlocks but make sure that the other person doesn't get too close to the edge and fall into the lava before the trophy pops.

  • Hit a Player with a Snowball while falling into the Lava.

Start a public match and hope for no intruders, then both of you must make your way to the bottom layer but position the opponent just on the edge. Now position yourself on the same block as them but facing away from the edge, then jump into the lava backwards and spam snowballs at your opponent. Be careful not to hit the block underneath your opponent as this won’t count. This might take a couple of tries but it's not difficult to pull off.

  • Push three Players into Lava using Snowballs in a single public round.

This trophy is misleading in a number of ways:

1: It doesn't have to be three unique players, meaning you can do this with two people total.
2: It can be done across one game, it doesn't have to be a single round.
3: It appears that they have mixed up the descriptions for both this and Hotshot.

For each round position your opponent on the bottom layer near the edge, then spam snowballs at them until they fall off the edge. Repeat for two more rounds and this will unlock.

  • Stay on the top layer while winning a round in a Snowball Tumble Mini Game.

This is a very simple trophy to get as you just have to win a round while on the top layer, which will probably via your opponent's suicide. You will probably get this at the same time as S-No Throw.

  • Win a Tumble game whilst on the lowest layer in a Snowball Tumble Mini Game.

This is the same principle as Overlord, only you have to be on the Bottom layer instead of the Top but you will get this while going for Snowplough (that is if you haven't got it already).

  • Defeat an Elder Guardian.

    MISSABLE

The Elder Guardian won't respawn if you ever set the difficulty to Peaceful mode. If you did so, you will need to make a new save.

Grab a trident/sword from in town, a pickaxe and make an iron man suit if you want some protection. It is highly suggested that you have some form of water breathing:

Option 1: If you are using a fresh tutorial map, go straight forward till you see signs for an glowing potion bottle and follow that route. In the potion room you will find a chest with 10 Water Bottles, 10 Nether Warts and at the water area in town a chest has a fishing rod that can be used to fish for a puffer fish. You can also easily find a puffer fish in a chest in the final tutorial world at the witches house: follow the water straight out of town, make a right to go over the water fall and off to the side there is a smaller waterfall area with a witch head. On the map this is at X:-117, Y:52, Z:-17 where there is a waterfall you can jump up and then look in the house. Now create a water breathing potion using the water bottles, nether warts and puffer fish.

Option 2: Find 5 Turtle Scute's (turtles drop this when they mature so if you find turtles and eggs you can camp there for a bit) and make a Turtle Shell Helmet. Better than nothing.

Option 3: If while going for Let it go! you find the vendor has the Respiration book, you can use that on a helmet!

Option 4: Rough it out. Have enough food to fill your food and health bars, then grit it out.

In the latest/final tutorial mode map, the Water Temple's location is just below X: 282, Y: 63, Z: -105 on the map. Just below those co-ordinates (that you can travel to by boat or with Frost Walker boots) there is a Water Temple, with an Elder Guardian found by mining just the top block of the roof. Also of note is that the Elder Guardian will always drop a Wet Sponge that can be used for that trophy.

  • Levitate up 50 block from the attacks of a Shulker.

To get to the Shulker, you need to get to the End world. The End world is sometimes generated after killing an Elderdragon and will be a little area in the sky with a glowing ethereal block. If it doesn't appear, you will need to kill the Elderdragon again (or just reload a save right before you killed it) for another chance of this End world generating. You then stack up a bunch of blocks and throw an Ender Pearl directly into the ethereal block to get there. I strongly suggest having a pile of Ender Pearl for this as it makes the trophy trivial.

Note that the Shulker will only shoot spikes on Easy or harder difficulty, not on peaceful. You can get to this spot on Peaceful, then save/exit and load the save on Easy.

The struggling way to get this trophy is: get hit by the Shulker's spikes repeatedly which makes you levitate a few seconds per hit, while avoiding any obstacles above you while floating up, getting hit enough times from the poorly aimed spikes so you do continually levitate, eating enough food to recover health, having enough armor so you don't die from the many required spikes and being in a corridor with over 50 blocks to go up in. No wonder this is the rarest DLC trophy with people trying that way.

Then there's the easy way, which simply requires a few Ender Pearls and some blocks. While on peaceful mode, walk up next to a Shulker and from there stack up blocks at least 50 high but go a bit higher to make it easy even if your aim isn't perfect. You can use a Map Y-axis to measure your starting point and how high you need to go. Now head back down near the Shulker and your stack of blocks, make sure you have Ender Pearls in your hand and save/exit. Reload on Easy and as you get hit by the Shulker, toss Ender Pearls at your stack to climb up fast, getting over 50 blocks high before the levitation effect wears off!

  • Dye your bed a different color.

In the area with villagers you will find a few rooms with a bed, punch one and pick it up. In both the Banner tutorial rooftop and Enchantment tutorial room (above the Potion tutorial room in a cabin) are chests with assorted dyes, grab any dye from either location. Now press to bring up the crafting menu, for dye tab on left, for Item Dye tab. If you have limited items, the left side might auto-select the bed, otherwise press / to make the left display your bed and the right have any dye color in your inventory. Now press to dye your bed and unlock this trophy.

  • Use the Totem of Undying to cheat death.

The Evoker, which spawns in the mansion, will always drop a Totem of Undying when he is killed.

The simplest way to get to the Evoker/Mansion is to create a new game with a custom seed. Go to More Options => press on Seed => enter 681712529923833977 and I also suggest checking off the Bonus Chest option (you can leave the rest of the settings as is so Survival Mode, easy, Small biome). You will find a chest right in front of you with an Axe and an apple (perhaps the contents vary but either way at least one weapon). Equip the weapon and look to the left for the mansion. Feel free to make a save here. Inside the mansion there are Vindicators (enemies with an axe), Creepers (exploding green enemies) and a Evoker (Wizard). Try to ignore the other enemies and find a room with single Evoker so you can kill it with your weapon even though you lack any armor. As you are going in ill equipped this may take a few tries so I suggest making a save before entering the mansion and again when you find a room with a solo Evoker before engaging in combat.

When you kill the Evoker, Feeling ill will unlock. The Evoker will also have dropped a Totem of Undying, walk over it to pick it up and select it from your inventory. With this in your hand, engage the other numerous enemies till they drain all your health and you will unlock Cheating Death.

  • Lead a caravan containing at least 5 Llamas.

In a fresh Tutorial world, walk straight forward and under the giant pickaxe, then make a hard right and walk up the stairs to find the stable. Directly in front of you is a chest with a Lead for the taking. There are also many bales of hay which you should smash and collect some of. Now feed and tame two of the four llamas, then feed the tamed llamas again to make them get down in love mode for your fifth llama. Now attach the lead to any of the five llamas and walk around (open the doors to any llamas if you haven't so they can follow you).

  • Walk across the surface of a deep ocean by freezing the water with Frost Walker boots.

There are a few methods for this but some people resort to AFK fishing to get it.

A direct way to get this involves starting a fresh tutorial mode game. Walk straight forward till you get to the villagers with an Emerald sign. The chest has 11 Emeralds and 32 pieces of paper. Grab them and cancel out of the tutorial. Now just walk back out of the gate (under the emerald sign) and come back to re-loot the chest; you can repeat this as often as you want to build up a hefty collection of emeralds. Also do this a few times at the beacon tutorial chest for a pile of gold/iron blocks/ingots and make yourself some silver or gold boots at a crafting table (there is a crafting table near the water area, just walk down from the beacon room, you can also smelt your iron/gold blocks into ingots here). Now directly to the left of the emerald tutorial chest is a house with a Cleric and Librarian. The Librarian has only a couple of items for sale initially including an enchanted book with Depth Strider 1 which is of no use to us. Use your paper to buy some emeralds from the Librarian, then back out of the interface. He will glow, now buy a bookshelf and back out again. Now save your game and do a good deed.

Engage with the Librarian yet again, buying glass and then backing out. When he glows again, he will offer a random enchanted book. If this is Frost Walker, skip to the next paragraph but if not, buy some more glass (I bought a few more stacks), then back out and he should glow again (this may take a moment). He will now offer his second random enchanted book. If this is Frost Walker, skip to the next paragraph. If neither random enchanted book is Frost Walker, you will need to reload your save and repeat the process described in this paragraph. Took me about 50 reloads, it's just random luck.

One of the librarian enchanted books is Frost Walker 1 or 2?? Congrats! Place the bookshelf you bought hours ago and punch it to get a book and buy the Frost Walker book from the Librarian. Head over to an anvil just across the way and put your boots on the left with the frost walker book on the right to combine them into Frost Walker boots. Now you will need to find deep water to walk over. I found this by walking out of town over the water, then making a right jumping up the waterfall, then making another right at the mushroom island and walking through a cavern. Just past the land at X:-165, Y: 64, Z:-334 I walked over the deep ocean for this trophy.

  • Defeat an Evoker.

    See Cheating Death.

DLC: Expansion Pack 10

6 trophies

  • Place four Sea Pickles in one block.

Sea Pickles can be found underwater in the Lake in the Tutorial World. It's best to activate the conduit in the middle of the lake first so you have infinite air (see Moskstraumen). Mine 4 pickles from anywhere at the bottom of the lake and place them down with / on to any single block for the trophy.

  • Use a Dried Kelp block as fuel in a furnace.

You can find kelp blocks in the lake area on the water with slime on top of them. Mine any of these and put them in the nearby furnace and use it to cook anything of your choice, such as raw fish.

  • Activate a Conduit.

This is easily achieved in the lake in the Tutorial World. Swim over to the already built Conduit in the centre of the lake and take the heart of the sea and 8 shells from the chest. Using a craft table make a conduit, this is under mechanisms below the beacon. Once you have a conduit enter the water below the chest and in the centre of the Prismarine blocks you'll find a wooden block, place the conduit here and then mine the block which will activate the conduit and give you infinite air underwater.

  • Eat nothing but Kelp for 3 days.

Kelp can be mined from the long strands of it underwater. Mine about 20-30 to be safe and cook them in a furnace, then only eat your cooked dried kelp for 3 in game days which will take an hour. It's best to do this underwater on peaceful mode and combined with Sleep with the Fishes.

  • Stay underwater for one full day without using potions.

Firstly make sure to activate the conduit in the lake, this will give you infinite breath underwater. It's best to attempt this on peaceful mode so drowned zombies won't spawn and attack you. Simply stay underwater for 20 minutes which equates to a full in game day for the trophy.

  • Bribe a Dolphin.

Dolphins can be bribed by using raw fish. Go down to the lake in the Tutorial World and grab the fishing rod from the chest on the left dock. Catch a few fish then approach any dolphin in the water and press / to feed them a fish, the trophy should then unlock.
