Introduction:
The sequel to Metro 2033, and based on the book by the same name, by author Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Last Light provides a unique blend of stealth and FPS attributes to provide a gripping story set in this post apocalyptic world. Metro: Last Light gives players the opportunity to go in guns blazing (like Call of Duty) or sneak past enemies to complete your objectives (like you're playing Splinter Cell) and all while providing you with a story similar, although better, than that of its Fallout counterparts.
Walkthrough:
Step 1: Play the game on Easy trying to achieve Shadow Ranger and Redemption and enjoy the Game.
I would suggest playing this game killing almost everything in sight while cleaning up some other trophies but since some people are having trouble unlocking Shadow Ranger I highly suggest trying for it on your first playthrough just in case it doesn't unlock. During this playthrough you also want to make sure you make the correct choices and do the right things to unlock the "good" ending, the Redemption trophy, as I feel it is the harder of the two endings to unlock. You'll also want to try and unlock as many of the stealth trophies as possible to try and avoid having to replay some of the Chapters over again later on. Whilst going for the Redemption trophy, avoid all the trophies that involve killing Humans.
Step 2: Play through the game doing the opposite of your good playthrough trying to unlock C'est la vie.
During this playthrough you can shoot and kill anything that moves to unlock the Soldier trophy as well as any of the story related trophies you may not have gotten the first time while going for the "good" ending. This is the step where you can also go for the Kill related trophies like Gunslinger and No Shooting Allowed. Steps 1 and 2 can be reversed if you choose but Step 2 is much easier and far less picky so I recommend them in this order.
Step 3: Clean-up any trophies you may have missed.
In this Step you should clean up any trophies you may have missed, like a stealth chapter or getting a kill with each weapon or if for some reason Shadow Ranger hasn't unlocked for you. By the end of this step you should have a shiny new .
Note: You can use Chapter Select for any of the trophies (excluding ones like Shadow Ranger where you must start a new game to get it) then you must continue playing from that point onwards, else the stats for the trophy you're after will reset and you'll have to start over (this does not affect the Diary trophies).

Metro: Last Light - Ranger Mode DLC:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 7/10 (Personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 2 (1 , 1 )
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 8-10hrs but this is highly dependant on skill and your luck with avoiding the many glitches that can occur.
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 if you're a Metro Veteran, 2 if you're new to the series.
- Number of missable trophies: 0
- Glitched trophies: There are no glitched trophies but this game does have some nasty glitches that can slow you down, see the Glitch Notes for details.
- Do trophies stack? Yes
- Does Difficulty Affect trophies? Yes, you must play on the Hardest Difficulty to get both trophies at once.
- Do cheat codes disable trophies? No cheats available.
Introduction:
The Ranger Mode DLC was originally only available to people who pre-ordered and/or bought the Metro: Last Light Limited Edition but was made available to everyone shortly after release. The reason I say you may have to do 2 playthroughs is if you're new to the Metro series as the game plays very differently in Ranger Mode compared to Original Mode and is harder still on Ranger Hardcore. On Ranger Hardcore difficulty:
- You have no HUD of any kind which also means no Crosshairs or Ammo Counters for your guns.
- Supplies and Military Grade Rounds are much harder to find.
- Both you and the enemies do a lot more damage but you can't take as many hits before dying.
- The A.I is smarter.
- There are no directional damage indicators so you won't know where the enemies are attacking you from.
- You can only carry 2 guns compared to 3 in Original mode.
- There are no hints or tips given.
- There is only limited Auto Aim.
- QTE prompts will no longer appear.
- The amount of ammo you can carry is reduced.
On both DLC difficulties the Firing Range training section is a lot shorter.
I must also state that this DLC is not needed for the Platinum. There was a rumour going around just prior to the launch of Metro: Last Light that you needed these 2 trophies for the but this is false! It should also be noted that this DLC is not part of the Season Pass.
Glitch Notes:
The glitches I touched upon in the Overview can be really nasty if you're not careful but I must stress that not everyone will encounter these issues:
- Trophy list deletion: This bug is relatively rare but now M: LL is available via PS+, more and more people are reporting that their Trophy list for this game gets deleted when the game crashes. The odds of hitting this bug are still low but be prepared as there is a chance you may never get some of your Trophies back. To mitigate any fallout from this bug, quit to the XMB via the :ps: button after every Checkpoint and backup your save to the PS+ Save File Cloud. If you do this DLC at the same time as attempting any of the Main Game trophies (not a good idea) then quit to the XMB after the next Checkpoint and sync your trophies.
- Random freezing: This usually happens at load screens and in the menus but can strike on the XMB seconds after exiting the game. In rare cases the freezing can cause save file corruption. Because the saves for Metro: Last Light are locked, you need either a PS+ Subscription so you can use the Save File Cloud or an external drive you can do a full Hard Drive backup to. The Cloud is the recommended option as then you only have to upload/download 1 file rather than having to backup/restore your entire Hard Drive every time. Playing offline can help ease the amount of freezing. Due to an incredibly nasty bug the Developer Pack introduces, it is now likely your save will delete itself when the game crashes so it is imperative that you make frequent backups.
If you experience any weirdness whatsoever (beyond the intentional moments I mention in the walkthrough), then immediately exit the game and turn off your PS3 as the game could be about to crash.
- A.I pathfinding errors: Very occasionally the A.I will get stuck in/on the scenery or fail to trigger an action. Sometimes you will be able to nudge them enough to correct their pathing but other times you will have to reload either the Checkpoint or in extreme cases, the entire Chapter.
- Checkpoint issues: If you get really unlucky then you can find yourself with limited supplies due to a poorly placed Checkpoint. If you get into a situation like this then use melee kills wherever possible, loot the bodies of the people you kill and pray they have either ammo or another gun. If things get really bad then you will have to decide if you want to restart the entire Chapter or restore a save file backup. If you choose to restore a backup from the Cloud then please note you can only do this once every 24hrs due to the time lock the Cloud imposes on locked saves.
Walkthrough:
Step 1:
If you have experience with this game/series then dive straight into Hardcore difficulty but as a general note I would suggest focusing only on the DLC trophies as trying to get most of the main game trophies will be extremely difficult on this difficulty (Shadow Ranger in particular is all but impossible in Ranger Mode). For the most part the overall difficulty in this DLC isn't that different than in the main game but the difficulty does spike quite badly in places (I will point those out in the accompanying walkthrough).
For newcomers to this game/series I recommend playing through the game once then starting Ranger Mode on the lowest difficulty before moving onto Hardcore.
Step 2: Cleanup
If you started on Ranger difficulty then now is the time to move onto Hardcore difficulty and get the trophy for that.

Metro: Last Light - The Faction Pack DLC:
Road Map:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 8/10 (Personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 6 (6 )
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3-5hrs, this is strongly dependant on how lucky you get with the trophies for getting 100 kills, 10 headshots and finding all 30 artifacts.
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 3, one for each Chapter.
- Number of missable trophies: Technically the 3 non-story related trophies are missable, see the Introduction for details.
- Glitched trophies: Yes, Homo Homini Lupus Est but see the Glitch Notes below for info on some other issues you may encounter.
- Do trophies stack?: No
- Does Difficulty Affect trophies?: Indirectly yes, the main game and Ranger Mode DLC difficulties feed into this DLC and can make life un-necessarily difficult.
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.
Introduction:
The Faction Pack is the first of the 4 Season Pass DLCs and sees you playing as a member of the 3 opposing Metro factions i.e the Fourth Reich, the Red Line Communists and the Polis Rangers. There are 3 Chapters in this DLC, 1 for each faction with the shortest being approx 8mins and the longest being just over an 1hr. Each Chapter is designed to provide some back story to certain events in the main game, therefore I strongly advise waiting until you have finished the main game before starting this DLC. To actually start the DLC you need to have the 1.02 patch installed and played at least the first Chapter in the main game, then go: Main Menu => Chapters => press to open the "New Missions" menu.
In the Overview I said technically all 3 non-story related trophies are missable this is because, unlike the main game, the Chapters do not follow on from each other automatically. Changing Chapters before you have the trophies for any given Chapter will wipe your progress thanks to the crappy save system (more on that below).
Glitch Notes
Unfortunately this DLC suffers from some of the same problems as the main game and the Ranger Mode DLC:
- Trophy list deletion: This bug is relatively rare but now M: LL is available via PS+, more and more people are reporting that their Trophy list for this game gets deleted when the game crashes. The odds of hitting this bug are still low but be prepared as there is a chance you may never get some of your Trophies back. To mitigate any fallout from this bug, quit to the XMB via the :ps: button after every Checkpoint and backup your save to the PS+ Save File Cloud. Also, sync your trophies the moment you get them but quit to the XMB to do so as being signed into PSN seems to make the game more unstable.
- Random freezing: Fortunately the Chronicles Pack is far less freeze prone than the other DLCs but it does still happen, albeit much less frequently. The freezing usually happens at load screens and in the menus but can strike on the XMB seconds after exiting the game.
Due to an incredibly nasty bug the Developer Pack DLC introduces, it is now likely your save will delete itself if/when the game crashes so it is imperative you make frequent backups. To reduce the chances of your game crashing and your save disappearing, I strongly recommend exiting directly to the XMB instead of the Main Menu (press the button => Quit Game) as the freezing mainly happens when you try to quit the game.
- Checkpoint issues: It's possible you may get really unlucky and find yourself with limited/no supplies due to a poorly placed Checkpoint. If you get into a situation like this then use melee and stealth moves wherever possible, loot the bodies of the people you kill/knockout and pray they have either ammo or another gun. If things get really bad then you will have to decide if you want to restart the entire Chapter or restore a save file backup. If you choose to restore a backup from the Cloud, then please note you can only do this once every 24hrs due to the time restriction the Cloud imposes on locked saves.
- Auto Save wiping: This problem is exclusive to the Season Pass DLCs. What this means is if you load a save from the main game then exit and play a DLC mission, your main game Auto Save will be wiped and replaced with the one you just created for the DLC. I don't know if this is a bug or just lousy game design but it sucks all the same so ensure you've finished the main game before starting the DLCs.
General notes:
- All the pictures used in this guide were created by myself (Terminator). The copyright on these pictures refers to our site (playstationtrophies.org) and not any others with the same or similar name.
- Even though the trophy descriptions say complete X Level, I'll be calling them Chapters as that's what they're called in-game.
- Do not attempt to play any of the DLC Chapters whilst going for the Ranger Mode DLC trophies, this is because The Faction Pack uses the difficulty from your last save in the main game to determine its own difficulty. Playing on either of the Ranger Mode difficulties will make your life considerably harder so I recommend setting the main game difficulty to Easy.
- The Abzats Heavy Automatic shotgun, RPK and AKSU assault rifle DLC weapons are not available in this DLC (nor are any of the other guns for that matter).
- Since the save system in this game is an Auto Save based one, you must finish up your current Chapter before moving on else you will lose all your progress (unless you have a backup handy).
- Loot every corpse you come across as they will likely contain vital supplies (does not apply to the (ASSAULT INFANTRY/Heavy Squad Chapter).
- Watch your step in the KSHATRIYA and SNIPER TEAM Chapters as there are lots of traps and setting them off can bring a lot of enemies to your position.
- As with the main game and the Ranger Mode DLC, your health will regenerate over time if you take damage so hide (if possible) until it recovers.
- You do not need the Season Pass to get the Faction Pack, Tower Pack, Developer Pack or Chronicles Pack DLCs but you will get a hefty discount if you do.
- You cannot get any of the main game trophies in this DLC so don't waste your time trying as it won't work (credit to DeividHasselhoff) for confirming this.
- All the controls mentioned in this guide are based on the default settings.
- The difficulty for this defaults to Normal so change it ASAP but you will have to reach a checkpoint for the change to save.
Walkthrough:
You can do these Steps in any order but the way I've set them out is, IMO, the most efficient .
Step 1: Clear the ASSAULT INFANTRY/Heavy Squad Chapter
For this step you will be going for Hail Reich! and Homo Homini Lupus Est. I say do these two now as this Chapter is the first one in the Chapter Select menu and because Homo Homini Lupus Est is the hardest trophy in the DLC.
Step 2: Clear KSHATRIYA
Here you will be getting Kshatriya and Artifact. This Step is the longest one as there is no fast way of getting to all the artifacts and some of them are fiddly/dangerous to get to. Unfortunately there is no in-game map so you will need a good memory to remember how to get back to the various buildings and basements.
Step 3: Clear SNIPER TEAM
Saboteur and Sniper are the final trophies you need to get in this DLC but unfortunately Sniper is glitched and may not unlock when it should, see the guide for advice on how to get this should it glitch.
Step 4: Clean up if necessary
You may not need this Step but if you do then use it to get any trophies you might not have unlocked.

Metro: Last Light - Tower Map Pack DLC
Road Map:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 (personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 2 (2 )
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-4hrs+ but this is highly dependant on skill and luck.
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
- Number of missable trophies: 1, Willpower
- Glitched trophies: None specifically but see the Glitch Notes for some bugs that can mess up your game.
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: Indirectly yes, the main game and Ranger Mode DLC difficulties feed into this DLC and can make life unnecessarily difficult so play on Easy.
- Do trophies stack?: No.
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: There are no cheats.
Introduction:
The Tower Pack is the second of the 4 Season Pass DLCs and sees you playing the part of an unknown soldier in an unspecified point in the Metro storyline. Your character has been given the job of trying out a new combat simulator that your superiors believe will help better train and prepare the rest of their troops. Due to the vague nature of the story and lack of any real connection to either of the Metro games, it doesn't matter when you play this as it won't spoil the story for either game. The Tower Pack DLC consists of 5 missions of increasing difficulty and has you fighting against Waves of increasingly dangerous and hostile enemies but with a little skill and luck, you can beat them. Whilst there are online leaderboards available in this DLC (press => Leaderboards), there are no online trophies. I've said 2-4hrs+ for the time to 100%, because the difficulty can go up steeply in places and the potential glitches you can run into will stretch out how long it takes to finish this DLC. The difficulty for this is a 5/10 because it can be easy but when it's hard, it gets really hard.
To actually start the DLC you need the 1.02 patch installed and have played at least the first Chapter in the main game, then go: Main Menu => Chapters => press to open the "New Missions" menu. The DLC Chapters do not automatically follow on from each other therefore changing Chapters before you have the trophies for any given Chapter, will wipe your progress thanks to the poor save system (more on that below).

- Random freezing: The freezing usually happens at load screens and in the menus but can strike on the XMB seconds after exiting the game. In rare cases the freezing can cause save file corruption. Because the saves for Metro: Last Light are locked, you need either a PS+ Subscription so you can use the Save File Cloud or an external drive you can do a full Hard Drive backup to. The Cloud is the recommended option because then you only have to upload/download 1 file, rather than having to backup/restore your entire Hard Drive every time.
Due to an incredibly nasty bug that the Developer Pack DLC introduces, it is now likely your save will delete itself if/when the game crashes so it is imperative you make frequent backups. To reduce the chances of your game crashing and your save disappearing, I strongly recommend exiting directly to the XMB instead of the Main Menu (press the button => scroll down to "Quit Game" => press => select "Yes") as the freezing mainly happens when you try to quit the game. Ideally you want to backup your save inbetween missions so you don't lose so much progress should your save get wiped.
- Checkpoint issues: Unlike the other trophy DLCs and the Main Game, in The Tower Pack you can only save between missions but having a save here will still wipe your save from the main game or the other trophy DLCs so back it up to the Cloud before starting.
I don't know if this is a bug or just lousy game design but it sucks all the same so ensure you've finished the main game before starting the story DLCs.
- Gamma (brightness) issues: The Gamma in this game is really bad at times, even with the in-game Gamma maxed out so I advise you also turn up the Gamma/Brightness of your TV to enable you to see better.
- Double shot glitch: This glitch only seems to happen in The Chronicles and Tower Pack DLCs. For some unknown reason the Revolver and sometimes the Shambler and Duplet as well, will occasionally fire 2 shots instead of 1. This can be beneficial if you're going up against a tough enemy like a Heavy Trooper but more often than not it's a hindrance as you'll burn through your ammo that bit faster.
General notes:
- Even though the trophy descriptions say complete X Level, I'll be calling them Chapters because that's what they're called in-game.
- Since the save system in this game is an Auto Save based one, you must finish your current Chapter before moving on else you will lose all your progress (unless you have a backup handy).
- As with the main game and the other trophy DLCs, your health will regenerate over time after you take damage so hide (if possible) until it recovers.
- I'm unsure if you can get any of the trophies from the main game whilst playing this DLC, if you can then please let me know.
- All the controls mentioned in this Guide are based on the default settings.
- Even with the Season Pass and every DLC installed, the only DLC Weapons you will have available are the RPK Assault Rifle and the Hellbreath Railgun.
- Unlike the main game and the other Story DLCs, in the Tower Pack your compass will not work. I don't know if this is a glitch or a weird design choice but it's still worth mentioning.
- This Guide cannot be used with the Redux version of the Tower Pack due to design differences and because the trophy list is completely different, plus there is an exploit which can only be used in that version that doesn't work on the PS3.
Walkthrough:
Step 1: Get the Willpower trophy
Willpower is the easier of the 2 Tower Pack DLC trophies but it's also missable because if you finish this DLC before getting it, then you will have to start a new game from scratch to have another go at it. There isn't much I can really say about this but the best place I've found to get it is in mission 4 where you'll only be facing humans and not mutants. You will have just 3 chances to get this trophy as only missions 2-4 and have a HUGE mission.
Step 2: Get the Test Complete trophy
Since Test Complete is story related, you can't miss it unless you get hit by one of the numerous bugs that this game unfortunately has.
Step 3: Clean up
Should anything bad happen to your save, then you can use this Step to get whichever trophy it was you were working on at the time.

Metro: Last Light - The Developer Pack DLC
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 (personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 4 (4)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 4hrs+.
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 2, one for each Chapter.
- Number of missable trophies: 2, Arachnophobia and Developer.
- Glitched trophies: Technically all of them due to the save file deletion bug but it's mainly Arachnophobia and Developer that may be a bit dodgy. Also see the Glitch Notes below for additional bugs.
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: Indirectly yes, the main game and Ranger Mode DLC difficulties feed into this DLC and can make life very difficult so play on Easy.
- Do trophies stack?: No.
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: There are no cheats.
Introduction:
The Developer Pack is the third of the 4 Season Pass DLCs and sees you playing as 2 unnamed soldiers. In the first Chapter (SPIDER LAIR) you get separated from your two team-mates and awaken sometime later hanging upside-down in an unknown part of the Metro and encased in some kind of spider's webbing. The second Chapter (Developer Pack) sees you arrive at an unnamed training facility somewhere in the Metro, here you have a standard SHOOTING RANGE with fixed and living targets along with a live fire ARENA. In both cases it's just you versus hordes of enemies and you have limited ammo. The Shooting Range isn't very hard since it's difficult for enemies to hurt you but the Arena is a whole different matter since the scenery is destructible and enemies will do anything to find and kill you.
The reason for the 4hrs+ time to 100% is that it takes roughly an hour to finish the SPIDER LAIR Chapter, you have to spend 3hrs in the Developer Pack Chapter to get the Developer trophy and there's the possibility that both it and the Arachnophobia trophies are glitched as well as being missable but I will explain more about those in the Guide under the respective trophies. I gave this a 5/10 for difficulty because when it's easy it's really easy but when it's hard, it's really hard.
The first Chapter is designed to provide some back story to certain events in the main game, therefore I strongly advise waiting until you have finished the main game before starting the SPIDER LAIR. The Developer Pack Chapter is meant more for testing your skills then telling a story so you can do it at any time without spoiling the main game. To actually start the DLC you need to have the 1.02 patch installed and played at least the first Chapter in the main game, then go: Main Menu => Chapters => press to open the "New Missions" menu. The Chapters do not automatically follow on from each other, therefore changing Chapters before you have the trophies for any given Chapter will wipe your progress thanks to the poor save system (more on that below).

- Checkpoint issues: It's possible you may get unlucky and find yourself with limited/no supplies due to a poorly placed Checkpoint. If you get into a situation like this then use melee and stealth moves wherever possible, loot the bodies you find and pray they have either filters, ammo or another gun. If things get really bad then you will have to decide if you want to restart the entire Chapter or restore a save file backup. If you choose to restore a backup from the Cloud, then please note you can only do this once every 24hrs due to the time restriction the Cloud imposes on locked saves.

I don't know if this is a bug or just lousy game design but it sucks all the same so ensure you've finished the main game before starting the DLCs.
- Gatling gun jamming: This is a highly irritating bug that can prove fatal if it happens during the later waves of the SHOOTING RANGE and ARENA. I recommend not using this weapon at all since it eats ammo for Breakfast and takes ages to spin-up, even when using the pre-spin function (press and hold ). There is no fix for this glitch other than starting restarting the Chapter from scratch because even replacing the gun then picking it up again won't fix the problem.
- Gamma (brightness) issues: The Gamma in this game is really bad at times, even with the in-game Gamma maxed out so I advise you also turn up the Gamma/Brightness of your TV to enable you to see better.

Walkthrough:
Steps 1+2 are interchangeable, I've only listed them the way I have because then they're in the same order as in the New Missions menu.
Step 1: Complete the SPIDER LAIR Chapter and get the Arachnophobia trophy as well
The SPIDER LAIR Chapter isn't hard but it's very glitchy and freeze prone so save and make backups after every couple of Auto Saves. Arachnophobia is possibly glitched as I had to kill 40+ spiders before the trophy popped but I've also been told that only certain types of spider count so any extra clarification would be appreciated.
Step 2: Get the Specialist and Developer trophies
Here is where you will be spending the majority of your time in this DLC.
The SHOOTING RANGE isn't hard but the last couple of waves can be tricky since the A.I is pretty accurate. The ARENA is much harder due to the increasingly aggressive/accurate A.I and limited ammo but is still doable providing you take your time and don't go in guns blazing. Since there is no fast way to get the Developer trophy, you will have to take your time doing the SHOOTING RANGE and ARENA Challenges but you can also pay a visit to the Museum and look at all the used and unused concepts for the game.
You can do the SHOOTING RANGE or the ARENA first as they're both unlocked from the start but I recommend doing the ARENA second so you have a chance to get used to the weapons and controls.
Step 3: Clean up
You will only need this Step if Arachnophobia and Developer glitch or something bad happens to your save.

Metro: Last Light - The Chronicles Pack DLC
Road Map:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (Personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 6 (6)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1-2hrs
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 4, 1 for each Chapter + 1 clean up if needed.
- Number of missable trophies: 3, Safe Cracker, Hunting and Eagle Eye.
- Glitched trophies: None but see the Glitch Notes for info on some game-breaking bugs that will make getting the trophies that much harder.
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: Indirectly yes, the main game and Ranger Mode DLC difficulties feed into this DLC and can make life unnecessarily difficult so play on Easy.
- Do trophies stack?: No
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: There are no cheats.
Introduction:
The Chronicles Pack is the last of the 4 Season Pass DLCs and sees you playing as Pavel, Khan, Uhlman (one of Khan's friends) and Anna in 3 Chapters set before and during certain key parts of the main game. Each Chapter is designed to provide some back story to events in the main game, therefore I strongly advise waiting until you have finished the main game before starting this DLC to avoid spoilers. To actually start the DLC you need the 1.02 patch installed and have played at least the first Chapter in the main game, then go: Main Menu => Chapters => press to open the "New Missions" menu.
In the Overview I said all 3 non-story related trophies are missable. This is because, unlike the main game, the Chapters do not follow on from each other automatically. Changing Chapters before you have the trophies for any given Chapter will wipe your progress thanks to the poor save system (more on that below). None of the the trophies in this DLC are especially hard to get, hence the 1-2hr completion time.
Glitch Notes
Unfortunately this DLC suffers from some of the same problems as the main game and the other story DLCs:
- Trophy list deletion: This bug is relatively rare but now M: LL is available via PS+, more and more people are reporting that their Trophy list for this game gets deleted when the game crashes. The odds of hitting this bug are still low but be prepared as there is a chance you may never get some of your Trophies back. To mitigate any fallout from this bug, quit to the XMB via the button after every Checkpoint and backup your save to the PS+ Save File Cloud.
- Double shot glitch: This glitch only seems to happen in The Chronicles and Tower Pack DLCs. For some unknown reason the Revolver (both silenced and unsilenced variants) will occasionally fire 2 shots instead of 1, this can be beneficial if you're going up against a tough enemy like a Heavy Trooper but more often than not it's a hindrance as you'll burn through your ammo that bit faster.
- Do not attempt to play any of the DLC Chapters whilst going for the Ranger Mode DLC trophies, this is because The Chronicles Pack uses the difficulty from your last save in the main game to determine its own difficulty. Playing on either of the Ranger Mode difficulties will make your life considerably harder so I recommend setting the main game difficulty to Easy.
- None of the DLC weapons from the other expansions nor the Heavy Automatic shotgun you get from the Season Pass are available in The Chronicles Pack.
- Since the save system in this game is an Auto Save based one, you must finish your current Chapter before moving on else you will lose all your progress (unless you have a backup handy).
- Loot every corpse you come across as they will likely contain vital supplies.
- As with the main game and the Ranger Mode DLC, your health will regenerate over time if you take damage so hide (if possible) until it recovers.
- You do not need the Season Pass to get the Faction Pack, Tower Pack, Developer Pack or Chronicles Pack DLCs but will get a hefty discount if you do and a free gun (the ABZATS Heavy Automatic shotgun).
- I'm unsure if you can get any of the trophies from the main game whilst playing this DLC, if you can then please let me know.
- All the controls mentioned in this guide are based on the default settings.
Walkthrough:
I've setup the Steps the way I have, because this way they are in the order the events happen in the story but can be done in any order you like .
Step 1: Complete the Anna Chapter
Here you will be getting The Sunset of Hope and Eagle Eye, neither are difficult but Eagle Eye may take a couple of tries to get right. The only tricky section is near the end of the Chapter but see the guide for details on that.
Step 2: Complete the Pavel Chapter
In this Chapter you will be getting Heads Up! and Safe Cracker. The only trophy in this Step you may have trouble with is Safe Cracker as some of the safes boxes and keys are in easy to miss places.
Step 3: Complete the Khan Chapter
Now you want to get No Way Out and Hunting out the way, neither are hard but the level design for the Khan Chapter is really bad which will make getting the Hunting trophy difficult.
Step 4: Clean up if necessary
Use this Step if you happen to be missing any trophies, the only one you may be missing is Safe Cracker as it's difficult to get without a guide.
