If you play as Proto Man on Easy, your shield will reflect certain attacks, which makes it a bit easier. And you can slide, which is a lifesaver. Also, if you get hit by the guys that shoot out the purple sludge stuff that slows down your movements, don't worry -- they don't do any damage, and therefore don't impede the trophy at all. I got hit three or four times on my Mr. Perfect run by the purple sludge and still got the trophy. Another good tip, if you're having trouble getting through certain levels without taking damage, is to watch some of the Time Attack videos of people who have cleared the levels in ridiculous amounts of time. At the very least you should be able to pick up some good pointers.

In my opinion it is easier to get this trophy using BASS instead of MEGA MAN or PROTO MAN since BASS can shot in any direction (especially helpful against Dr. Wily fights). Playing on EASY is a must since you may save in between stages. Good luck!

I'm still dealing with Wily Stage 1...I've finally gotten a good technique going for murdering the first 2 sets of bosses...haven't taken time with the last 3...I practiced techniques for an entire day before finally reaching them, so they can wait til I'm done my other games.
