Step 1: Stats Trophies
There are 8 trophies that can be unlocked through multiple playthroughs. These are all the stats you need to have to unlock the 8 trophies: 100 homeruns, 100 strike outs, and steal 50 bases.

A homerun is when you hit the ball passed the outfield into the stands. A strike out is when your pitcher throw pitches against the other teams batter. Then he swings and when he misses the ball 3 times, he is out. A stolen base is when you have a base runner on first or second. Then when the pitcher throws the ball they run to the next base, then that's a stolen base.

Step 2: Single Game Trophies
There are 18 trophies that can be unlocked in single games. Some of the trophies are hit 4 home runs, strike out 15 batters, score 15 runs, and steal 6 bases in one game. Play as the Yankees and they already have a really good team so it shouldn't be to hard.

Then we have Man Crush, which involves hitting a home run with Tim Lincecum. This will also get the trophy for driving in a run with a pitcher. Then we have the throw a no hitter which is not that hard. You can save after every perfect inning. Getting a no hitter will also unlock a few other trophy's with it. We then have the steal home trophy which can be easy if just edit the stats and then the catcher will almost never catch the ball.

Hitting for a cycle can be hard but if you use someone like A-Rod on the Yankees. If you don't hit a homerun try for a triple then a double then a single. To hit a walk off homerun is when its the bottom of the 9th, zero outs and the game is tied. That's when you hit a homerun. Next there is hit 3 batters in row. When you are pitching aim right at the batter and then hit him. Do that for 3 straight batters.

Step 3: Player Card Trophies
There are 9 trophies from getting player cards. Unlock all 320 player cards is not hard but it takes time. Use this guide to help unlock all the player cards. Then for the other player card trophy for creating a card team. The game starts you off with enough unlocked cards to complete a team. Go to Cards > Create A Team to select your cards.

Step 4: Online Trophies
There are 2 online mode trophies. The first online trophy is for completing a game online. Use this thread to find a boosting partner. Then the other trophy is a viral trophy. To find someone that has the trophy and can help you. Use this thread.

Step 5: Franchise Mode Trophies
There are 6 franchise mode trophies. Your going to have to actually play 20 games yourself. Make the game 3 innings long. Use a team like the Yankees then max out everyone stats. Then after 20 games are played yourself, save your season so you don't have to re play 20 games. Then simulate to the World Series. Win the World Series and most likely you will have all 6 of the trophy's. If you don't restart your save and start again.

Step 6: Create/Home Run Derby Trophies
There are 2 create trophies. The first create trophy is to create a player. To create a play go under Management, select Create Player. Just save the player and this trophy will unlock. Then you need to create a 2k beats playlist. Go to 2K Beats and edit the playlist. Either switch one song or make sure it only plays the songs you want to hear.

There are 2 Home Run Derby trophy's. The first trophy is to win the Classic Home Run Derby, which isn't too difficult. The next one is harder you have to get to the top of the best of the best ladder. To make these 2 trophy's easier create a player with maxed out stats.

The instructions given here should help you unlock 21 trophies very quickly.

First of all, pick the team you wish to use for every trophy. It's best to choose one and stick with it. Edit all the stats of Batters and Pitchers so that every player is maxed out. Then trade someone for Tim Lincecum (Giants) and max his stats. Next, choose a team to play against. Lower every player's stats to 0. You're ready for the easiest game of your life. Start a 9 inning exhibition game and go to the Options screen. Under Difficulty, max out all your stats except Field Errors and do the opposite for the CPU.

Get as many home runs, strike outs and stolen bases as you can. Use the same pitcher throughout the game and save after every perfect inning. If you allow a hit, reload the game. When you get down to the last out, save the game again. Reload the game and complete it. Reload and complete the game as many times as it takes to unlock all the home run, strike out and stolen base trophies. This method will also allow you to unlock 'Flawless', 'Unhittable' and 'Untouchable'.

Don't forget to either place Lincecum in your lineup or bring him in as a pinch hitter. You should hit a home run with him at some point in the game without a problem.

  • Create a Player

Under Management, select Create Player. Just save the player and this trophy will unlock.

  • Hit a home run with Tim Lincecum

    See 'Unhittable'.

  • Win the Classic Home Run Derby®

Go to Classic Home Run Derby and select a player with their stats maxed. Your opponent should be someone with their stats lowered to 0. They will never hit a home run this way. All you really have to do is hit one home run and miss on purpose the rest of the times. Simulate their turns and you should finish quickly.

  • Play a Ranked Game Online

Go online and join or host a 9 inning ranked game and play all the way through it.

  • Create a 2K beats Playlist

Go to 2K Beats and edit the playlist. Either switch one song or make sure it only plays te songs you want to hear.

  • Hit 40 Home Runs in a season with one player (play at least 20 games)

See 'There Can Be Only One'.

  • Win 20 Games in a season with one pitcher (play at least 20 games)

See 'There Can Be Only One'.

  • Drive in 100 runs in a season with one player (play at least 20 games)

See 'There Can Be Only One'.

  • Save 40 games in a season with one player (play at least 20 games)

See 'There Can Be Only One'.

  • Strike out 200 batters in a season with one player (play at least 20 games)

See 'There Can Be Only One'.

  • Win the World Series in Franchise mode (play at least 20 games)

Use your team with max stats. Make simulated games 9 innings and the ones you play 3 innings. In order to get this, you have to play 20 games on your own throughout the season. So play 18 games then simulate to the last game of the regular season. Play that game to make it 19. Simulate through to the World Series and then only simulate game by game until you have 3 wins. Play and win the final game for your 20th game. If everything went as planned, you should get this trophy as well as 'Absolute Power', 'May The Best Man...', 'Centennial Man', 'Show Stopper' and 'Bicentennial Man'.

The only trophy out of all of these that you most likely will not get is Show Stopper. This requires you to get 40 saves in a season with one player. You can check the leaderboards throughout the season and, with trade deadlines off, trade for the player closest to 40 and finish the saves yourself (only if the games that you play are set to 9 innings). That is the quickest way to get it. The longest way is to play 40 9 inning games yourself and bring in your selected pitcher at the start of the 9th inning in each game to finish the win. You must be up by 3 or less at the time of your final defensive stand in order to get a save.

  • Create a Card Team

The game starts you off with enough unlocked cards to complete a team. Go to Cards > Create A Team to select your cards.

  • Try all 4 Practice Modes

The practice modes are in Spring Training. They just teach you how to play the game. No trouble at all.

  • Get to the top of the Best of the Best ladder in Home Run Derby® Mode

You are going to want to use a player with maxed stats to play this. And to make it easier, lower the stats of the players you will be going up against. The following is a list of your 20 opponents (with default roster teams):

    Justin Morneau (Minnesota Twins)
    Carlos Pena (Tampa Bay Rays)
    Carlos Delgado (New York Mets)
    Chase Utley (Philadelphia Phillies)
    Evan Longoria (Tampa Bay Rays)
    Carlos Quentin (Chicago White Sox)
    David Wright (New York Mets)
    Vladimir Guerrero (Los Angeles Angels)
    Josh Hamilton (Texas Rangers)
    Grady Sizemore (Cleveland Indians)
    Mark Teixeira (New York Yankees)

    Miguel Cabrera (Detroit Tigers)
    Ryan Braun (Milwaukee Brewers)
    Adam Dunn (Free Agent)
    Prince Fielder (Milwaukee Brewers)
    Albert Pujols (St. Louis Cardinals)
    Manny Ramirez (Free Agent)
    Alex Rodriguez (New York Yankees)
    Ryan Howard (Philadelphia Phillies)

  • Win the World Series in Postseason Mode (Play Final Game)

Go to Postseason Mode and select your team with maxed stats. Simulate through the World Series game by game until you have 3 wins. Play and win the final game.

  • Beat a Team 2K member or someone that has unlocked this achievement in an online game

This is one of those trophies that is passed on from user to user until it is widespread. Find someone who has it and see if they'll allow you to win in order to obtain it. Then, if you're feeling generous, pass it along to a few people.

  • Unlock all the pitcher cards in the game

  • Unlock all the batter cards in the game

  • Unlock all nine cards for one team

  • Unlock one card on each of the 30 MLB teams

  • Unlock 10 Classic Player Cards

    See 'All The Tea...'.

  • Unlock 100 cards

    See 'All The Tea...'.

  • Unlock 200 cards

    See 'All The Tea...'.

  • Unlock all 320 Cards

Getting all of the cards will take a long time but is not difficult by any means. You can accumulate these on your own or through card battles online. If you are playing on your own, make sure you are on Pro difficulty. Use your team with maxed stats to unlock the cards for that team and others teams. The Classic Cards can be gotten through the technique discussed in 'Unhittable' as long as it's on Pro difficulty.

Although it's time consuming, I believe the best way to unlock every card is to max your stats and lower the stats to 0 for every player on every team. It takes a long time to edit the rosters, but once that's done the task becomes so much easier. If you're patient and don't want to play against another person, go for it.

NOTE: If you use the technique for reloading the game and finishing it, there is a glitch in the trading card area within the in-game menu. In Classic Cards, it will show higher numbers than what's required and won't show the next card needed. Don't worry about this, as it's cosmetic. Your cards will still unlock. For strikeouts, if you've gotten the requirement but no card is unlocking, throw a strikeout in this or any game. Same thing for home runs and stolen bases.

Secret trophies

  • Hit three batters in a row

Use the left analog stick to aim directly at the batter. Throw a simple fastball and hit him. Repeat this for the next two batters.

  • Strike out a batter and throw out a runner on the same play

Unless you're playing against another person and set this up, it's pretty difficult to be successful. One way is to max out Steal Aggression for every player on your opponent's team. Make sure their running speed is lowered in the Options menu inside the game. If you're lucky, they'll try to steal once you've pitched 2 strikes. It's a longshot but if this happens, immediately throw to the required base after pitching the final strike. You unlock this if you've struck out the batter and caught the runner stealing.

This can be done online, but I believe it cannot be done in an unranked game. I tried and it didn't unlock even though I struck out the batter and threw out the runner, who was stealing.

  • Throw a No Hitter with one pitcher in a game

    See 'Unhittable'.

  • Drive in a run with a pitcher during a game

    See 'Unhittable'.

  • Hit a home run to win a game

Make sure you are either down or tied when you are first up to bat as the Home team. Save the game if you think you will score without hitting a home run. Reload as much as necessary and try until you get one. If the home run puts you in the lead (gives you the win), this trophy is yours.

  • Sometimes this is difficult. But not if stats are maxed and lowered accordingly. They never catch the ball and you can get to home plate easily. Just like stealing any other base, when you are on third hit the steal button and you'll get it.

  • Hit a home run, triple, double and single in one game with one player

This is going to come naturally as long as you're playing with maxed stats against teams with lowered stats. The commentators will say something if a player needs a certain event to complete the cycle. Next time they're up, try to get what's required.
