Roadmap:

First off, there are 13 trophies in the base game. To get the other 5 available, you must purchase the DLC. If you believe you will eventually purchase the DLC, I strongly suggest just buying them both at the same time. There are trophies with the DLC that require completing 50 levels in a row and one that requires 2,000,000 points. You will have to replay some of the original game if you decide to get the DLC at a later date.

One major note: NEVER SELECT CONTINUE if you run out of lives! If you do, you just ruined the work you've done up to that point as your level count resets. Always choose TRY AGAIN, which is .

Start off the game by playing level 1-1. You'll need a good amount of time set aside because you will be playing through the game without quitting. If you quit before getting the trophies that require completing xx number of levels in a row then you just lost out on it. You'll have to do it all over again. If you sit and play through every level in one sitting then you'll get 11 of the trophies automatically. I include the trophy "Bonus Plan" because you should get that in a play through.

Once you've completed the game and have those trophies, you can go to any level you need and wrap up the ones you missed.

General Tips:

  • Try to get your ball up to the top of the screen and behind obstacles. This will allow it to bounce around and continually destroy items.
  • The iron ball powerup (spiky black ball) is a great powerup generally. Grab it whenever you can.
  • Keep an eye on the countdown timer for certain powerups. It appears in the top right of the screen.
  • Likewise, your weapon powerups (laser, cannon, etc.) have limited shots. Use them wisely.
  • Never choose going for a powerup if it means you die. It's never worth it.

Roadmap (for all DLC)
First off, yes, you need to own the base game in order to play the DLC. I will assume you have followed the excellent trophy guide that exists for the base game and Wicked Witches DLC. If you haven't, this is a good time to do that. This roadmap will just get right down to the additional DLC's.

There are a whopping four trophies in each DLC. I suggest just trying to complete all the levels, going for the completion trophies. Then when you are done, start a new game on the other levels that have specific trophies. If you luck out and randomly unlock the level-specific trophies along the way, even better of course.

There you have it, the most comprehensive roadmap ever ~ now even including a third paragraph!

26 trophies ( 10  15  1  )

  • Complete ‘Plundering Pirates’ Episode

This is the first episode. There are 24 levels and you should be taking this time to get to know your powerups and get a feel for when to use them. The majority of these levels are easy and should not provide any real challenge. Now you don't have to complete this episode in one sitting, however I do advise doing so to make getting other trophies a lesser task in the end. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • NI!

    Complete ‘Naughty Knights’ Episode

This is the second episode in the game. Just like the first episode, this one has 24 levels as well. It will likely test your abilities and skills in the game a bit more than the first. Just remember to play it smart and if you don't succeed at first, keep trying. You'll get different powerups or discover an easier method of attack. I'll say it again, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • Complete 10 Levels in a Row

You'll need to complete 10 levels in one sitting to earn this trophy. Simply start at level 1-1 and get ready to play. Hopefully you're following my advice to keep playing so that you get this trophy as well as the 25 and 50 level trophies. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • Complete 25 Levels in a Row

You'll have to complete 25 levels in a row to earn this trophy. If you're following my advice, you'll get this trophy on your way to earning "50 in a Row," assuming you have purchased the DLC. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • Score 500,000 points

You'll need 500,000 points to earn this trophy. If starting from 1-1, you should easily have this trophy before the episode is complete. Do your best in the bonus rounds to grab as many coins as possible. Also, try to get your ball above many obstacles and let it bounce around hitting objects like stated in the general tips section. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives. If you don't, you'll lose your points.

  • Score 1,000,000 points

You'll need 1,000,000 points to earn this trophy. You will typically get this at some point during the second episode if you start from level 1-1. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives. If you don't, you'll run out of points.

  • Gain 9 Extra Lives

You need to have a total of 9 lives at one time for this to unlock. Extra lives are pink hearts that fall down the screen as a powerup. It's possible to get this in the first playthrough if going for the 25 or 50 level trophies however I would go back for this once you've completed the game. Start on level 1-1 as it's easier and if you die, restart the level. You may choose to restart if you find no hearts on the level as well. I would try to get at least one heart on each level.

  • Collect 200 ‘Bonus Points’ power-ups

Bonus Point powerups are the gold coins that drop like powerups. The majority of your bonus points that you'll collect are in your bonus stages. Try to do your absolute best to collect as many as you can during this time. You'll be awarded a bonus level every 5 levels. To the best of my knowledge, this trophy HAS to be done in one playthrough. Go for this trophy with the 50 plays trophy and the 2,000,000 points trophy.

  • Complete a level within one minute

It is possible to complete a level in one minute or less. That is how I got my trophy. The easiest method is to beat a bonus level. After a certain amount of time, the bonus level will force you to lose. It will almost always be before a minute passes.

  • Collect all Awards in the game

This is the platinum-like trophy in this game. Once you have all the base trophies in the game, it will unlock.

  • Start a chain reaction with a bunch of cannons

I got this trophy in level 1-5. With the set up that the level begins with you should be able to shoot the cannon on the left to get the chain reaction started. You could also get a cannon weapon powerup and use that to initiate the chain reaction.

  • Seek out and aid the lone knight in his fight against the dragons.

You'll find this opportunity to get the trophy on level 2-16. This is a fairly difficult trophy and will take multiple tries to get it. Definitely go back to this level once you're done with the main game to get it. There is an armored knight in the middle surrounded by dragons. You have to destroy the dragons without destroying the knight. He can take 3 normal hits so you have a little bit of play. Use the weapon powerups to your advantage. The laser can take out 2 or more dragons in one shot but you have to be sure the knight is not in the line of fire. You can also try to open up one side of the knight and use a wind powerup and hope that he separates from the dragons. It will not always work.

Secret trophies

  • 5 Killer Skulls Collected

These killer skulls are dropped like powerups in the game. They are a gold skull and crossbones and once you touch it you will lose a life. There are some red totempoles with yellow horns that will release powerups when hit. These are typically powerups you would want to avoid. However, you're going for this trophy so you'll want to hit it as many times as you can to get the skulls to possibly drop.

DLC: Wicked Witches Pack

5 trophies

  • Complete ‘Wicked Witches’ Episode

This is the third episode in the game. It will likely give you trouble and it frustrated me. Just like the first two episodes, this one has 24 levels. The last level is very tough but you will eventually get it. There is only one way to get it cleared and that's to get the ball up the middle and through a narrow opening on either side of the fence. An iron ball works wonderfully if you're lucky enough to get one. Just keep at it.

  • Complete 50 Levels in a Row

Hopefully you purchased the DLC at the same time as the game. If not, then you'll have to replay some of the original episodes so that upon completion of the DLC episode, you will get this trophy. You'll have to complete 50 levels in a row to earn this trophy. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • You need 2,000,000 points to earn this trophy. Hopefully you're playing from level 1-1 and playing in one sitting so you knock out several trophies at once. You should not have too much concern of not getting enough points if you're playing through it at once. Remember, always hit if you run out of lives.

  • An evil witch performs dark rituals. Put an end to them by destroying her at nighttime.

You'll have to get this trophy on level 3-8. You'll see the witch in question that you must destroy. The trick here is to get her to the ground level with whatever means you find available and not destroy her until you have picked up a night pickup (crescent moon). I would suggest picking up a weapon powerup (laser would be best) and holding on to it until you get the night powerup and hit her with the weapon. This ensures you get her hit while it's night instead of having to aim the ball to hit her.

  • No one should hinder true love. Find the lovers and make those around them go away.

You'll have to get this trophy on level 3-9. I would simply go back for this trophy once you've wrapped up the story. You will see the couple on the map. Your goal is to destroy the trees and guitars around them without destroying the couple. Use your weapon powerups to your advantage but be extremely careful.

DLC: Winter Pack

4 trophies

  • Complete the 'Winter' episode

As with all episodes so far, there are 24 levels you need to complete. After completing the final level, this unlocks. You can do this in multiple sessions, just select the highest level you have unlocked.

  • Help the valient penguins fight the nasty bears!

On level 4-15, kill the terrifying bears before destroying any penguins. Use power-ups like torpedoes, cannons and guns to your advantage by aiming for those vicious polar bears ~ and don't look into their eyes, trust me. This is the easiest of this DLC. If a penguin dies, hit "Restart level" to try again.

  • Call for help by launching the fireworks! Don't let the witch notice you! Avoid hitting this elderly lady.

On level 4-17, you will notice a witch who decided to be wicked and sneak into the wrong DLC. Break all the fireworks boxes to launch them before you hit the *itch. There are fireworks boxes above her as well, and you need to bust those before hitting her. This trophy will unlock as soon as you set off the fireworks, so don't hit on her until after the trophy unlocks. If you knock her up first, hit "Restart level" to try again.

  • And finally, send that old man in a red cap off on a bif air trip

On level 4-24, Santa is standing on top of a ton of boxes and his hat is touching the top of the screen. You need to knock him off the top box with the wind power-up. If Santa falls off with anything but wind, this will not unlock.

    • If the stack of boxes Santa is on gets hit and goes down a box, this will not unlock.
    • Avoid the earthquake/hammer power-up at all costs, as this will instantly destroy your chance at this trophy.
    • Also avoid iron ball power-up, or be carefull to aim away from Santa's boxes...
    • If Santa's hat is not touching the top of the screen, you need to hit "Restart level" to try again.
    • If you see a little wind/tornado powerup, grab it and wait for the trophy to unlock!
    • The power-ups are random, so you may luck out and get the wind power-up, otherwise just keep re-starting.

DLC: Jungle Pack

4 trophies

  • Conquer the new continent's lands.

As with all episodes so far, there are 24 levels you need to complete. After completing the final level, this unlocks. You can do this in multiple sessions, just select the highest level you have unlocked.

  • The villagers have been attacked by tigers. Help them by shooting the tigers from the cannons without hitting any other objects (except for the fireworks).

On level 9, you have to hit the Right Cannon, then the Left Cannon, then the Right Cannon again and wait for the chain effects to all finish. You can hit other objects, as long as you don't destroy them.

    • To make it really easy, start a new game on [Jungle] Level 9
    • You dont want anything to move or break, don't catch any power-ups other than, say, magnet or heart/life.
    • Aim for the right cannon and don't catch the ball.
    • Wait for the chain effect to finish, then aim the next ball at the left cannon, again don't catch the ball.
    • Wait for the chain effect to finish again, then aim the next ball at the right cannon. Keep the ball in play this time while the chain effect plays out, being sure not to hit anything enough times to break (other than fireworks).

(Credit to Tparsons5150 for the solution of which cannons to hit in what order)

  • Three enchanted waterfalls maintain the shaman's force. Destroy them to defeat the shaman.

On level 17 there are three waterfalls (when hit they will turn your ball into the crazy ball for a few seconds). After you hit a waterfall several times, it will eventually be destroyed. It is a pain, but keep at it. When you get shoot-able power-ups, try to clear a path for the ball to the upper left waterfall. When you break all the waterfalls, this trophy will pop. (NOTE: I had actually killed the shaman before the third waterfall, but the voodoo guy on the upper right was still alive and it still popped. Not sure why it unlocked this time, as my first time completing the level it didn't unlock, and I do not recall if I got the "Level Clear" power-up before destroying all of them.)

  • Now the shaman is defenseless, but he's not that easy to beat! The thunderstorm will help you.

    • On [Jungle] level 24, you need to destroy the shaman.
    • SOME have said they get the trophy after killing the shaman with regular/iron/big balls, and it flat out does NOT work for others.
    • SOME have even gotten extremely lucky with two lightnings, and had the whole tribe+shaman get zapped with a thunderstorm
    • SOME have gotten the trophy without wiping out the tribe first.
    • What DOES work for everyone is wiping out the tribe, then using lightning to zap the shaman.
    • It does NOT matter if the waterfalls are destroyed or not, as this popped with one left for me
    • If the shaman dies and the trophy doesn't pop after a few seconds, hit "Restart level" to try again.

(credit to rockordie56 for saying it is level 24)
(credit to claytonhorning for saying he got it without using lightning)
(credit to C-Train for saying that it is after the tribe that matters)
