Walkthrough:
Step 1: Complete story mode & unlock red bricks when you can.
Just play through the levels. After completing Year 7 Level 2, Magic Is Might, make sure to get the "Hogwarts Has Changed" trophy before going to the next level.
Step 2: Free Play Mode
First make sure you have a dark wizard (such as Lord Voldemort or Bellatrix Lestrange), a character with a key (Mrs. Cole, Griphook, or Bogrod), and either a strong character (like Hagrid of Dudley) or the super strength red brick.
Then go through each level finding the Student in Peril, 3 character tokens, and 4 Hogwarts crests in each level. If you choose Lord Voldemort as your dark wizard, you can work toward getting the "What If?" trophy by defeating the Harry Potter variants in each level.
Step 3: Clean Up
Once you have True Wizard on all levels, Complete the bonus level. Make sure all characters and red bricks are found and purchased. Items must be purchased to count toward 100%.
Work toward any other trophies you need.
All characters can be purchased at Madam Malkin's shop once you collect the token for that character. Red bricks can be purchased at the upstairs of the Leaky Cauldron (it's the place you can choose to replay levels at). Take the first door on the left once you're upstairs.
The Character Token Detector, Gold Brick Detector, Red Brick Detector, and Hogwarts Crest Detector will help you find any items you have not collected yet.

After getting True Wizard in all levels, go to the shop at the end of knock turn alley. In the left part of the shop you will build a door. Go through the door to enter the level. You need a dark wizard and a character with a key to finish this level. |

To get 100% do the following:
- Collect 4 Hogwarts Crests in each of the 24 levels.
- Complete all 24 levels in Story Mode.
- Get True Wizard status in every level.
- Rescue 60 Students In Peril (24 in Story Mode and 36 in Free Play).
- Obtain all 20 Red Bricks.
- Unlock and purchase all 200 characters.
- Get all 200 gold bricks:
- 24 for completing each level in Story Mode.
- 24 for getting True Wizard status for each level.
- 24 for getting all 4 Hogwarts Crests in each level.
- 60 Rescue all 60 Students In Peril.
- 16 Available for purchase.
- 52 Hidden throughout the hub.
There are ghosts in each area of the hub that have icons above them indicating what items you have found. A transparent gold or red brick means you have yet to get the brick in that area. It has a blank character token along with the number of character tokens you have found in that area and the total number of tokens. There is also a face for the Student in Peril. If it is smiling, you have saved the student in that area. If there is no face, token, or brick, there isn't any of that item in that area. One note, sometimes the red brick is clear even though you have found it. In that case, as long as the owl is not on the perch, you have found the brick. You will have to collect the bricks for any you use cheat codes to unlock to get to 100%.

This trophy is earned between the levels 'Magic is Might' and 'In Grave Danger'. Use the map in the tent to travel to Hogwarts.
The tent also appears between 'In Grave Danger' and 'Sword and Locket'. After you complete year 7, Hogwars reverts back to normal. |

Quibbler dispensers are newspaper machines that appear throughout the levels and hub. The first one is in the level “Dumbledore's Army”. After crossing the bridge, it is to left beside a building. Hit  until the trophy pops.
After the spectrespecs lesson the boxes dispense them instead of newspapers.
Thanks to Thoran for confirming you can still get this trophy after the boxes start dispensing spectrespecs instead of newspapers. |

The tent also appears between 'In Grave Danger' and 'Sword and Locket'. You can go back to the tent at any time through a warp point the the restaurant to the left of the area you go down the stairs to get to the train station. In freeplay Hermoine and Harry are always available to play as. You may have to switch characters to make sure they are your active characters. |

Break everything and use cheats. The studs you have at the end of a level get added to your grand total. Purchasing characters, spells, or cheats will decrease your total. You will get the trophy once the grand total is equal to or greater than 1 billion. |

| Defeat every Harry freeplay variant as Lord Voldemort | (7) |
Only one controller is needed to get this trophy. Find an area near a cauldron. Use polyjuice potion to transform to Lord Voldemort. Switch characters and change to a variant of Harry. Switch back. Use Voldemort's green magic to defeat Harry. You can also work toward this trophy by playing as Lord Voldemort in Free Play levels.

Red Caps are red mushroom like enemies that pop out of ground. They appear randomly in areas that have mushrooms. Thanks to T_l_M_B_0 for pointing out that the level 'A Giant Virtuoso' has several Red Caps in it. You can replay this level if you are needing to defeat more to get this trophy. |
