This game is not meant to be taken seriously, if you love superheroes, lego games and have a good sense of humour then this game is for you. For the first time ever a lego game has voice acting and personally it makes the narrative much more dynamic and interesting. Now just one or two things which I need to bring to your attention before we start the guide.
Story Mode and Free Play Mode
Throughout this guide there will be a consistent reference to Free Play Mode and Story Mode. This is mainly due to some trophies and elements of the game can only be achieved through playing under one of these modes. Story Mode is where you are usually confined to playing as Batman and Robin, sometimes there may well be an additional character to play: such as Superman. But the most important thing to note about Story Mode is you don't have the choice to select what characters you play as and, the characters which you do have will always have the ability to complete the levels, but not in its full entirety. Free Play Mode is where you are at liberty to choose any character which you like to play as, this mode is unlocked after every level that you complete in Story Mode. Playing under this mode makes the levels much easier to negotiate and most importantly you can accomplish all aspects of a level, such as: Minikits and Saving Citizens.
Cheats
For some gamers using cheats is usually frowned upon, however this game embraces the idea of using cheats and you can get them by either: punching in the code in the extras option on the pause screen or by finding the Red Bricks around Gotham City. It is strongly recommended that you use all cheats in order to Platinum this game in a reasonable time. Also bear in mind that, every time you exit the game, you have to switch all the necessary cheats which you use back on. it is quite simple to do, just go into the extras option on the pause screen and toggle the off to on. For the full list of cheat codes see Extra! Extra!
Format
The Road Map and Trophy Guide both coincide with each other. I have tried to take into consideration how your steps to platinum can compliment the Trophy Guide at the same time. In other words, the trophy descriptions are chronological; the ones which you will see at the top, will be the first ones which you will get and the ones at the bottom will be the very last.

ROAD MAP
Stage 1
In your first playthrough you should be targeting 19 trophies. Essentially all you have to do is to complete all the levels under Story Mode There are 15 levels to conquer and you are awarded a trophy for each one that you complete. To start a new level you have to go to the computer terminal at the center of the Bat Cave and each level is numbered 1-15 and are scattered around the map. Throughout Story Mode you will get two or three computer terminals in each level which will enable you to save your game. If you do save your game and exit the game completely; upon returning make sure you drive or walk to the specific location in Gotham City - your current mission where you last saved is represented on the map with a Batman Logo. Do not go to the Bat Computer and select your level number, this will result in you having to start the level again
Throughout your first playthrough try to get: Super Hero, Dynamic Duo, Combo Hero and It's A Bird... It's A Plane Lastly, try to get as many studs are you can; if you are convincingly getting 'Super Hero' status for every mission and you have the Stud x2 cheat switch on. Then you should be aiming for around 2-3 million studs mark in your first playthrough. Having this kind of wealth will make it easier later on in the game, which I will touch on in Road Map Stage 2.
Stage 2
After your first playthrough you should of obtained: 19 trophies, 30 gold bricks and around 2 million studs. Now for your next part, you now need to do some work around Gotham City under Free Play Mode (which has now been unlocked). First go for Test Hero whilst in the Bat Cave and then depart and go for Subway Hero. After this you will need to unlock The Joker, Lex Luthor and Man-Bat - see Team Building for the value and whereabouts of these characters. It is fundamental that you unlock these characters in order for you to complete the next stage. If you are unfortunate enough not to have enough studs, then keep replaying the start of the first level under Free Play Mode with Flash, so you can efficiently collect more studs. Once you have obtained these characters move on to getting Red Bricks: 14, 15, 16 and 17 - see Extra! Extra! for whereabouts and value. These bricks will significantly improve and enhance your wealth of studs. Last thing to do in Gotham City is to go for Gorilla Thriller. All of the above amounts to 2,400,000 studs and you will need to get these characters and bricks before your next playthrough.
Your next playthrough of the story must be under Free Play Mode. Start from level 1 and target the House of Luthor;. also in your second playthrough make sure you rescue all citizens in peril and collect all Minikits, so you can make good inroads for Minikit Hero and My Hero
Before you start Level 3 - providing that you have had all stud multipliers turned on - you should of accumulated substantial amount of studs. Therefore, you will need to go around Gotham City again to unlock the following Characters: Poison Ivy, Penguin, Harley Quinn, The Riddler and Aquaman - see Team Building for the value and whereabouts of these characters. This will now allow you to clean up on Minikits and citizens in peril for the remainder of levels post level 3. A quick note on unlocking Aquaman, you will probably find that you are 25 gold bricks short of unlocking him. See City Slicker on how to get up to 70 gold bricks which is the required amount to unlock him.
After you have completed your final story playthrough, go to the Bat Cave and test all 15 Minkit vehicles for Minikit Hero. After this finish collecting all 20 red bricks for Extra! Extra! and then move onto collecting all 250 gold bricks for City Slicker and My Hero. Whilst getting these collectables you will automatically unlock Halfway Through. After this go to Gotham Central Park and complete the secret mission for Toy Gotham.
Now to move onto unlocking the rest of the characters. First go for all villains to unlock Super Villain. Just bear in mind that when you are encounter Sinestro, make sure you defeat him as the Green Lantern for Green Lantern's Light. Also when you unlock Brainiac take out a Lexbot for Inferior Machines. Next move onto unlocking all the heroes for Team Building, Justice League and Girl Power
Lastly, find and purchase all vehicles around Gotham City, once you have done this you will unlock The End and Complete Hero

There are a total of 250 gold bricks to collect throughout the game and there are different means of collecting them. Here is a breakdown of gold bricks:
You get one gold brick for completing each story mission, plus the bonus mission (16)
You get one gold brick for each citizen you save (50)
You get one gold brick for achieving 'superhero status' in each level (15)
You get one gold brick for collecting all 10 minikits in each level (15)
The rest of the gold bricks are scattered around Gotham City (154)
It is strongly recommended that you activate the Gold Brick Finder code - MBXW7V. this conjures up proximity arrows which alerts you to nearby gold bricks. Fly around as Superman in order to navigate your way around Gotham City. Lastly, if you press  on your map this will scan the area for all collectables, but they only appear for a split second.

All 20 red bricks are located throughout Gotham City. The benefit of collecting these bricks is that it will give you a cheat code; however if you know these codes prior to collecting them then, you can still enjoy the benefits of the cheats but you do not obtain the actual brick, you have to find them!
It is strongly recommended that you use the Red Brick Finder code - 5KKQ6G which will enable proximity arrows so you can find your own way around the map. Here is a brief overview of the whereabouts of these Red Bricks.
Red Brick 1: Go inside the Bat Cave, fly with Superman to the right-front of the cave until you discover a shiny black brick box. Use Lex Luthor’s Deconstructor gun to get the red brick out of the box, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: MNZER6. Activating this code allows you to become irresistible to Studs.
Red Brick 2: Found at the Amusement Mile. Look for a hill behind the Helter Skelter ride. You will see a Joker Box in the corner, switch to The Joker to open it and reveal the red brick, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: ZAHXFH. Activating this code will alter the sound of your horn when driving a vehicle.
Red Brick 3: Found at the Metro Station (Central Island). Switch to the Riddler and look for a Riddler's Box in the Subway tunnel and unlock it with this character at the cost of 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: TPJ37T. Activating this code will allow you to be awarded studs when defeating enemies as opposed to receiving nothing.
Red Brick 4: In the Arkham Asylum, enter the front door, but then use Superman to fly upwards and look for a bridge above the Arkham Asylum entrance. Look at where the security cameras are – which are protecting a gold brick - and you will see a Joker's Box, switch to The Joker to open it to reveal the red brick, at a cost of 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: BWQ2MS. Activating this code will put silly mask on your character's face
Red Brick 5: As the Riddler go to the City Hall doorstep and there should be a Riddler's box which will reveal a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: 4LGJ7T. Activating this code will give will give you additional hearts (Health)
Red Brick 6: Become the Riddler and go to Gotham Zoo and there is a Riddler's box on the left-hand of the main building, unlock to receive a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Code: 7TXH5K. Activating this code will allow you to upgrade the number of character's which you can switch to; from two to three in Free Play Mode.
Red Brick 7: As The Joker go to the Harbourside theatre and search around the the right-hand side for a Joker's box, which will reveal a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: TPGPG2. Activating this code will now prohibit the loss of studs when you die/respawn.
Red Brick 8: As the Riddler go to Gotham Beach and on the North Walkway, look for a Riddler's Box on a stone path which will reveal a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: MBXW7V. Activating this code will prompt proximity arrows for the location of the Gold Bricks within your vicinity.
Red Brick 9: Go to the Gotham Park North Lake and play the mini game by the water. You have to win as the RC Ship against the RC Submarines in order to reveal the Red Brick costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Code: LRJAG8. Activating this code will prompt proximity arrows for the whereabouts for minikits, within your vicinity.
Red Brick 10: As the Riddler go to the Gotham Cathedral East Side and look for a Riddler's box near the cathedral's walls, which will reveal a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Code: RYD3SJ. Activating this code will prompt proximity arrows of citizens in peril with your vicinity.
Red Brick 11: Go to Gotham City’s West Docks South Island. Look at the water where you must first play and win a RC ship battle against RC submarines to unlock this red brick, costing 50,000 studs
Cheat Code: 5KKQ6G. Activating this code will prompt proximity arrows for the location of the Red Bricks within your vicinity.
Red Brick 12: As The Riddler, on the road just before the Arkham Asylum have a look for some cliffs and near it should be a cave which has Riddler's box in it, revealing a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Code: ZXEX5D. Activating this code will allow you to slowly recover your lost hearts (Health) when sustaining damage.
Red Brick 13: Go to Gotham city Central Island Power Station and, play and win the RC Racing Game to reveal the Red Brick, costing 100,000 studs
Cheat Code: 74EZUT.. Activating this code doubles every stud you collect from now on.
Red Brick 14: Go to Gotham City South Side Power Station, next to the Police Station in the car park play and win the mini-game: RC Racing in order to reveal a Red Brick, costing 200,000 studs
Cheat Code: Is unobtainable. But upon collecting this Red Brick, you will activate the option to have the ability to quadruple every stud you collect from now on.
Red Brick 15: As Lex Luthor go to Gotham City Central Factory. Upon arrival, there should be an iron fence in front of the factory. You will need Lex Luthor’s deconstructor gun, which pulls apart the shiny Black Brick box that holds this Red Brick, costing 300,000 studs
Cheat Code: Is unobtainable. But upon collecting this Red Brick, you will activate the option to have the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 6 fold. Substantial
Red Brick 16: As Lex Luther go to Gotham City North, go to the back of the building with the water tower on the top of that tower, use the deconstructor gun on the black box to reveal the Red Brick, costing 400,000 studs.
Cheat Code: Is unobtainable. But upon collecting this Red Brick, you will activate the option to have the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 8 fold.
Red Brick 17: As Lex Luthor make your way to Gotham City South Bank, just behind the nondescript building use the deconstructor gun on the black box which will reveal the Red Brick, costing 500,000 studs.
Cheat Code: Is unobtainable. But upon collecting this Red Brick, you will activate the option to have the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 10 fold.
Red Brick 18: As the Riddler make your way to Gotham City Park Central and on the East Side near some lamps, bushes and stairs there should be a Riddler's Box, which will reveal the Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Code: JN2J6V. Activating this code will improve the time it takes for a character to build things with lego.
Red Brick 19: As Superman make your way to Gotham City Ace Chemicals Central Island. Fly and look upwards for window which has green light from it, behind the gate South Side of the building. There should be a Joker's box in the corner, which will reveal a Red Brick, costing 50,000 studs.
Cheat Codes JXN7FJ. Activating this code changes the wire to vine with the grapple gun which Batman and Robin hold in their arsenal.
Red Brick 20: As Superman fly to the top of Wayne Tower to find a Riddler's box. Switch to The Riddler and unlock the box to reveal the final Red Brick, costing 200,000 studs.
Cheat Code: Is unobtainable. But upon collecting this Red Brick, you will activate the option to have the ability to be invincible.

This trophy is only achievable under Free Play Mode. Hold down and select one of the blacked out options on either the left or right side of the character selection option. This will select an already made custom character and soon as you become this character the trophy will pop. Credit to bLaKgRaVy for pointing this method out.

In each level there are 10 Minikits to collect, before you do anything else press  and go to the extras option. Punch in the code: LRJAG8 this will activate proximity arrows which will guide you to the exact location of the minikits in each level.
For this trophy to pop, you will need to collect every Minikit in Story Mode and go back to some in Free Play Mode. For every level which you perfect, you will be awarded a vehicle. There are five land vehicles, five air vehicles and five water vehicles. You must go to correct the computer terminal in the Bat Cave, the terminal to your left is for aircraft; the one in the center is for land vehicles and the one on the right is for water vehicles. Test drive each vehicle for this trophy pop. Note that some people have had trouble with using the terminals in the Bat Cave. It could be the case that it does not record you having driven a certain vehicle. if this is the case, then seek out alternative terminals around Gotham City: for the boats Yacht Club, aircraft - Gotham Park and road vehicles - terminals where you find the Villains.

There are fifty characters to unlock in Lego Batman. Some come naturally through completing parts of the Story Mode, but most of them have to be defeated and purchased in Free Roam Mode around Gotham City. You can play Free Play Mode only when you have completed Story Mode. Gotham City is compiled of three islands: North, Central and South. Here is a complete break down of how to obtain all characters

Villains:
To unlock Villains in Gotham City, fly around the map as Superman and keep an eye out for red beams that project up into the sky. Closing in on these beams will result in a terminal being spawned. Press  on the terminal and this will liberate the particular part of the map that you are currently and most importantly, it will introduce you to the nearby villian
Heroes and Civilians:
To unlock Hereos and Civilians in Gotham City, fly around as Superman and find and build golden doors. All golden doors will require a certain number of gold bricks to construct. Then once built you will have to pay a certain amount of studs in order to unlock that character in the particular golden door. To find these golden doors, press to scan the map and look out for a 'door' icon.
Villains in Gotham North:
Poison Ivy
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Poison Ivy. Use the Robin's Hazard Suite near the entrance to clear the toxic off the front gate, then pursue Poison Ivy around the gardens, she tends to go up a level every time she loses a heart
Harley Quinn
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Harley Quinn. Stroll through funfair and the ever so charming Mrs Quinn is waiting for you just after entering the gate. In order to beat her, you need to whack her with with the batarang just like what you did at the start of level 1
Captain Boomerang
Cost: 100,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Captain Boomerang. Boomerang is located in the courtyard near the maze. To beat him, you have to fire your batarang three times to defeat him
Scarecrow
Cost: 125,000
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Scarecrow. He hides in giant pumpkin near the funfair's pier. To beat him, you have to destroy the gas pumps with your batarang, once that it is done, enter a fist fight with him, till he loses all hearts.
Lex Luthor
Cost: 250,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 15 in order to fight Lex Luthor. He hides on the yacht's main pier. Simply beat him up till he no longer has any hearts left.
Mad Hatter
Cost: 100,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Mad Hatter. He hangs around to the right of the theatre. To beat him, you have to defeat his waves of henchmen until he arrives himself, then soon as he does hit him and keep doing this process till he loses all hearts.
Ra's Al Ghul
Cost: 100,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Ra's Jan Ghul. He is on the rooftop near the Metro Station. Just enter a fist fight and beat him up till he loses all hearts

Cost: 25,000 studs and 15 gold bricks
The door can be found in the security office just outside Arkham Asylum.
Alfred
Cost: 125,000 studs and 35 gold bricks
The door can be found at the Wayne Manor, it is the front door.
Louis Lane
Cost: 125,000 studs and 25 gold bricks
The door can be found on the rooftop near the yacht club
Dick Grayson
Cost: 125,000 studs and 40 gold bricks
The door can be found on the roof of harborside theatre
Black Canary
Cost: 500,000 studs and 150 gold bricks
The door can be found on the rooftop south of the Metro Station
Huntress
Cost: 125,000 studs and 50 gold bricks
The door can be found on the rooftop in the south east of the island.
Villains in Gotham Central:
The Joker
Cost: 250,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 15 in order to fight The Joker. He is just to the right of the neon sign 'Ace Chemicals' on the the rooftop. Just beat him up till his hearts are no longer existent.
Brainiac
Cost: 500,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Brianiac. He is right near the terminal which you just activated, beat him up with Superman till his hearts are no longer prominent.
Bane
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Bane. He is on the beach, just beat him up till his hearts are no longer there.
The Penguin
Cost: 500,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight The Penguin. You will find him at the top of the inner sphere of Gotham Zoo. You want to defeat his waves of goons and then beat him up when he appears, do this process three times and he is finished.
Sinestro
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 15 in order to fight Sinestro. He hides on the rooftop near central island Metro Station. Fly up to the roof as Green Lantern and beat him up and this will also unlock Lantern's Light
Killer Croc
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Killer Croc. Make sure Robin is in his Hazard suite and cross the bridge which leads to the Water Works, then there should be an area which allows you to climb down bellow the building. To beat him, spray away the toxic with Robin's water gun, when cleared, this will make the Killer Croc appear and when he does beat him up. Repeat this process three times
Killer Moth
Cost: 100,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight killer Moth. As Superman fly up to the top of the Power Station and find the Killer Moth hovering around a light bulb. Turn of the light bulb whilst dealing with his goons, when the light goes off this stuns him therefore, this is your opportunity to attack him. Repeat this process three times

The door can be found on a rooftop near Gotham Beach
Hawkgirl
Cost: 125,000 studs and 55 gold bricks
The door can be found on a rooftop southeast of Ace Chemicals

Cost: 125,000 studs and 60 gold bricks
The door can be found just south of the bridge which leads to the north island
Martian Manhunter
Cost: 125,000 studs and 175 gold bricks
The door can be found on a rooftop of a tall building just north of Gotham Park
SuperGirl
Cost: 125,000 studs and 250 gold bricks
The door can be found on a rooftop of a very tall building just east of Gotham Park
BatGirl
Cost: 125,000 studs and 65 gold bricks
The door can be found on a rooftop just west of the power station.
Villains in Gotham South
Two-Face
Cost: 125,00 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Two-face. He awaits on the top of City Hall. Fly up and deal with his waves of goons, after they are defeated you can then attack Two-Face. Repeat this process three times
Catwoman
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Catwoman. She can be located on top of the Police Station. Just beat her up until she has no hearts left
Hush
Cost: 100,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Hush. He can be found on the top of the hospital. Like Catwoman, just beat him up until he has no hearts left
The Riddler
Cost: 125,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight The Riddler. He hags around right at the top of Wayne Tower. To beat him, first deal with his waves of goons and then after they have been dealt with, attack him when he appears. Repeat this process three times.
Man-Bat
Cost: 500,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight Man-Bat. He hides in Gotham Cathedral's Bell tower. Use Superman's laser on the bell and he will appear as a result. Beat him till he has no hearts left.
General Zod
Cost: 500,000 studs
You've got to at least beat level 4 in order to fight General Zod. He is on a rooftop near south island's Metro Station. As Superman beat him until his hearts disappear and this will also unlock Kal-El Last Son of Krypton
Clayface
Cost 100,000

Throughout the game you will hear numerous citizens shout 'Help me' this basically means that a citizen is in a compromising situation and they require saving. For your efforts you get a gold brick for each citizen which you save. It is strongly recommend that you use the cheat code - RYD3SJ this basically conjures up proximity arrows which directs you to the citizens who need saving within your vicinity. Here is a short breakdown of where these jeopardised citizens are in the game:
Story Mode:
Some citizens can be saved whilst in Story Mode, but sometimes you will have to go back and use Free Play Mode. Furthermore you can double check if you have already saved a citizen in a particular my level by actually hovering over the levels on your map and if there is a smiley face on the bottom right-hand corner then this denotes that you have already saved the citizen for that particular level. If the face is sad, then they are still in peril and need to be saved
Level 1: right at the start on the left-hand side of the theatre, beat the goon nearby to save the citizen
Level 2: right at the start to your right side, beat up the goons and the citizen will be saved
Level 3: on the right side of the maze, beat up the goons and the citizen will be saved
Level 4: Just before you have your showdown with Scarecrow, switch to Penguin and blast the silver cells before the long corridor and a citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to unlock: The Penguin
Level 5: As Superman, fly up to the balcony above the area's third x-ray wall, then use the Bat Suit's sonar gun to shatter the glass and trigger all switches simultaneously and a citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode
Level 6: after boarding Lex Luthor's truck there is a citizen which needs to be saved at the rear bumper. Beat the Lexbots to save him.
Level 7: to the left of the dinosaur exhibit, use Superman's freeze to extinguish the nearby flames and a citizen will be saved
Level 8: right at the end of the mission, switch to Cyborg and use his magnetic powers to pull a giant antenna towards you off the roof and a citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to have unlock: Cyborg.
Level 9: right at the start of the mission, switch to superman and fly all the way up to the lobby's top floor, then switch to Aquaman and spray off the toxic and a citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to unlock: Aquaman
Level 10: in the first chase, lookout for an aircraft trying to shoot down the news reporter's helicopter, blast the aircraft and a citizen will be saved
Level 11: Switch to Lex Luthor and deconstruct the black debris at the fork in the second tunnel and pull the handle. A citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to unlock: Lex Luthor
Level 12: right at the end, whilst on the rooftop fly upwards to a magnetic pole and switch to Cyborg and use his magnetic powers on the pole and a citizen will be saved. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to unlock: Cyorg.
Level 13: after the first curve look for a citizen stuck in a tree, blast the tree away to save him.
Level 14 when The Joker Robot is in his third position, switch to Green Lantern and fly up to scaffolding and deal with the goons in order to save the citizen
Level 15 at the start, to the far left is a citizen trapped in a car. Switch to the Man-Bat and shatter the glass with his powers to save the citizen. Please note that this can only be achieved in Free Play Mode and you will have to unlock: Man-Bat
Gotham City
There are 35 citizens to save in Gotham City and unlike Story Mode there are four different scenarios where a citizens has to be saved:
Venus Fly Trap
Ten citizens are stuck in these traps; in order to relieve them you need to fire your Batarang at their buds. There are usually two or three to hit, make sure you check the front and back for them
Goons
Just like the ones in Story Mode, beat up the nearby goons who have captured a citizen who are holding them against their will. There are eight of these scenarios around Gotham
Fire Hydrant
Eight citizens are comically trapped by water being blasted from a fire hydrant. Use Superman's freeze powers on the water to save them
Frozen
Nine citizens have been quarantined by a block of ice, use Superman's heat laser to liberate them.

First of all you will need 175 gold bricks to qualify for this secret level. Once you have satisfied the requirement make your way to Gotham Park, which is roughly in the centre of the map. In the park, build a gold door near the park's fountain and this will transport you to the bonus level.
In order to complete this level you need to gain 1 million studs, which is basically everything in this level. You can play as: Batman, Robin, The Penguin, Clark Kent and Superman. Also note that to play as Superman you need to be Clark kent and you need find a telephone booth which is just before you walk along the bridge and you will become Superman. When you have completed the level's objective you will be awarded a gold brick.

In order to do a finishing move you need it to accumulate up to x4, which usually amounts to defeating around 5 goons in quick succession. Furthermore, all playable characters have finishing moves.

Throughout free roam of Gotham city and story mode, there are silver, bronze, blue and purple coloured studs. You get these by breaking furniture and fixtures and sometimes there is just a trail of them. Your need to reach to 10,100,000,000 for this trophy to pop.
At first this may sound daunting, but if you use the stud multiplier cheat then you will get this in no time. Make sure you turn on all these cheats:

Furthermore find Red Brick numbers 14, 15, 16, 17 this will give you the option to have x4, x6,x8 and x10 stud multiplier. Make sure you have all multipliers switched on and you will gain 3840 for every single stud you collect from now on. Also note that when you exit the game, the cheats will switch off when you come back, so make sure you switch them back on when you return for another sitting.
Red Brick 14: Go to Gotham City South Side Power Station, next to the Police Station in the car park play and win the mini-game: RC Racing in order to reveal a Red Brick, costing 200,000 studs. This will give you the ability to quadruple every stud you collect from now on.
Red Brick 15: As Lex Luthor go to Gotham city Central Factory. Upon arrival there should be an iron fence in front of the factory. You will need Lex Luthor’s deconstructor gun, which pulls apart the shiny Black Brick box that holds this Red Brick, costing 300,000 studs. This will give you the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 6 fold.
Red Brick 16: As Lex Luthor go to Gotham city North, go to the back of the building with the water tower on the top of that tower, use the deconstructor gun on the black box to reveal the Red Brick, costing 400,000 studs. This will give you the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 8 fold.
Red Brick 17: As Lex Luthor make your way to Gotham City South Bank, just behind the nondescript building use the deconstructor gun on the black box which will reveal the Red Brick, costing 500,000 studs. This will give you the ability to increase every stud you collect from now on by 10 fold.

Firstly Brainiac can be found and purchased for 500,000 studs in the middle of Gotham City, just look for the red beam of light which shoots up into the sky in order to locate him. Once you have Brianiac you need find a LexBot, there are loads in the story levels and they also tend roam the streets of Gotham City.
But for me, the easiest way to do this is to unlock the Lexbot via a cheat code - W49CSJ. Have one character as Brianiac and the other Lexbot. Then playing as Brianiac beat up your partner - LexBot

Sinestro can be found and purchased next to the Central Metro Station. First you have look for a red beam that projects up into the sky; go to the little computer terminal and this will locate him. Once you have found him switch to Green Lantern and defeat Sinestro and the trophy will pop. If you already have Sinestro, you can select him by pressing and then alternate to the other player and make him the Green Lantern, then beat him up that way.

Zod can be found and purchased right at the the bottom of the map next to the Metro Station. First you have to look for a red beam that projects up into the sky; go to the little computer terminal and this will locate him. Simply fly up onto the building where he is. Make sure you are are superman when defeating him and the trophy will pop. If you already have Zod, you can select him by holding down and then alternate to the other player and make him Superman then beat him up that way.

| Climb to the top of Wayne tower while riding a Gorilla and playing as a female character. | (11) |
An intertextual reference to King Kong. All you need to do is climb the Wayne Tower with a female character whilst riding a gorilla. After completing the story mode you will have Wonder Woman at your disposal. Switch to her and make your way to Gotham Zoo where you can find a gorilla. You need to press a switch to open a gate and they should spawn. Sometimes they don't, if that is the case then exit the zoo and go back in and try again. Once you have got your gorilla make your way south towards Wayne Tower. Soon as you are there search around the area and there will be blue strip which will allow you to climb up the tower. Also be careful of enemies chucking pies at you when you approach Wayne Tower, this may destroy your Gorilla and you will have to make another trip back to the zoo. Once you reach the top of Wayne Tower the trophy will pop.
