I found doing challenges, faction missions and going to cities, military bases, airports and harbours was the easiest way although still very time consuming took me over 50 hours to do it...

Wow, this is nuts... I just now got the trophy for 50% completion, and I've logged 150 hours! At this rate of 3 hours per 1%, it will take me another 75 hours to complete. Granted, I've been going slow and enjoying the game, and been getting killed a lot, but still.... I don't see how anyone could do this in less than 75 hours, probably most will take 100+ hours to get this trophy. |

Personally I think this game is fun enough that it's well worth getting to 75%. But for those of you who don't, come on, there are games way worse than this. If you save this one for last, you should be able to get up to about 50-60%, at LEAST, just by going for the other trophies, leaving you with just a little to get yourself. I don't see why #3 calls it the "grind of a lifetime". Most games that involve grinding are a lot worse than that. If anyone is even slightly daunted by this, then I strongly recommend you stay away from Far Cry 2. |

this is a bit of a grind but i found putting some music on helps me it makes things seem a little less slow |

Just got it, total time: 53:00hr. I did a lot of the collecting in-between faction missions and messing about. And like TheNBGteam said, music really helps. |

And at 46 hours got 75%. Complete all the missions, kill all the generals, do all the races. Then just buy the small and fast helicopter and get a hell of a lot of the faction items (you should be doing this all throughout the game). After that you should be around 60-70% then you just have to go military base to military base and call it a day. Happy Hunting. Great Platinum. |
