I can't say for certain since there's the delay on the trophy, but I'm 99% sure I obtained this on a whiff, and only a half charge.
So maybe call this confirmation on only needing to perform 100 finishers, not actually connect them with enemies.
Didn't go too far out of my way for this, probably a little over half way done with the game, a good time to farm this is when you're getting your 50 kills for "Knockout in the Blackout" |

You can just get this while going through the game. Also note that you don't have to melee enemies for "Knockout in the blackout" |

Confirming that it works on civilians. Got my last 10 kills in free roam on regular civilians (not even street performers) |

i am sure that i would have got this trophy by now. already beat it on good havent done most of the sidemissions. do i have to purchase the upgrade? |

@ #5 I don't think so. I found a UGC mission where it was infinite enemies, life and energy, and kept meleeing and finishing them but no trophy. think you have to get that legit. |
