| Comment #2 by Darth_Krid Wednesday, November 21, 2012 @ 05:46:00 AM Dumb? In what possible way? Do you understand the relevance of the number 47 in this game? | |
| Comment #3 by CheeksMcAllister Friday, November 23, 2012 @ 09:33:56 AM 8BitArtist has a point. You can play the game however you see fit to finish the contract, but Silent Assassin is the best rank for professionalism. The fact that this seems to be a gold trophy for simply going for the Mass Murderer rank (I believe that's what you'd get for a run like this) and getting this exact amount of kills because "his name is Agent 47, let's kill 47 people for a trophy!" is actually pretty uninspired. I suppose it's better than something like 'shoot 47 bullets into a wall and spelling out 47' Better trophies wouldn't have been too difficult to come up with. | |
| Comment #4 by de_pol Tuesday, December 11, 2012 @ 09:21:03 AM Maybe the description is a bit off, you can interpret it in 2 ways, I think: * kill 47 people in a mission * a mission has been completed using only '47 kills'. A 47 kill can be for example: fiberwire, headshot using the silverballers, ... ? | |
| Comment #5 by Spraragen88 Wednesday, January 30, 2013 @ 08:37:48 AM @4 ...Really? I mean... REALLY?! You sir should never take an academic test like that SAT's because the score would be so low they would have to invent a new number. | |
| Comment #6 by Kevdelonge26 Saturday, February 02, 2013 @ 08:42:05 AM Whats the best level to get this on? | |
| Comment #7 by RubyKnight Saturday, February 02, 2013 @ 09:10:24 AM I read that the level "Basement Killing" is the best level for this trophy since there's more than people on it. | |
| Comment #8 by RubyKnight Saturday, February 02, 2013 @ 09:11:42 AM I read that the level "Basement Killing" is the best level for this trophy since there's more than enough people on it | |
| Comment #9 by gtafreaksydney Saturday, February 16, 2013 @ 05:34:59 AM @ #3 The relevance would be that this was an Acheivment for the 360 Version of Blood Money back in the day (the Trophy List for BM is just that same Acheivment list FYI) and they wanted a throw back I guess (since most Hitman fans will play this game first, plus the collection is on 360 as well, so 360 Hitman fans will be like "alright Hitman 2, Lets look at the Acheivments, 47 Kills.... I remember that from Blood Money"). | |
| Comment #10 by Ajent Sunday, February 17, 2013 @ 10:13:53 AM @3 I find your argument lacking. You infer that you would rather trophies reward you for playing the game the way you are supposed to. I prefer trophies that force you to play the game differently to how you normally would. If the object of the game is to kill the target and leave as little collateral damage as possible, then playing the game as an all out shooter would obviously provide a bit of variety that you wouldn't otherwise consider. And the number 47 is obviously the most relevant number of kills to assign to such a challenge. Also, "Basement Killing" is OK for this trophy. | |
| Comment #11 by BjarneBiceps Sunday, February 17, 2013 @ 10:51:19 AM you will, most likely, if you play this game without silent assassin walkthrough help, end up in situations where you will have to kill all enemies to survive and win in at least one level. and silent assassin is not the "highest" level you can achieve, there is no point in achieving either rank what so ever, apart from the 5 silent assassin trophy. so having a trophy which pops if you complete a level with 47 kills is not unlikely to come by naturally if playing the game normally. not that dumb a trophy. | |
| Comment #12 by BjarneBiceps Sunday, February 17, 2013 @ 10:53:03 AM and who cares if it's a gold or bronze trophy anyway. on the way to the plat, I can't see why anyone would care.. there could be 50 bronze or 10 gold trophies on the way, doesn't make a difference to me. | |

| Comment #14 by DeMz Tuesday, March 19, 2013 @ 04:39:46 PM #12, every trophy (bronze, silver, gold, platinum) gives you different number of points in order to level up on PSN. Some people care, because that's the purpose of trophies - to get as more as you can and level up as high as you can and go up in the rankings. You can find rankings on PSNProfiles. | |
