| Comment #1 by CapnChristof Wednesday, July 06, 2011 @ 05:10:44 PM I think its worth emphasising here that Ethan needs to make it to the Old Warehouse chapter, and rescue Shaun, which means you need to complete enough of the trials for him to either get the address, or work it out. First time I tried to get this trophy, I only completed two of the trials, and all I got was a scene of Ethan in his car swearing cos he couldn't figure out where to go! All the requirements of the trophy were still met (although Jayden got killed after reviving Shaun, not on the conveyor belt), but the trophy still didn't pop. It doesn't make much sense, as if Ethan makes it to the warehouse the OK gets identified in the ending, where as if he doesn't then the OK is still unknown, but its worth noting to save yourself a good few hours of another part-playthrough. To complete it's requirements Jayden HAVE to reach warehouse. Unfortunately for me when i was playing trough I wanted to do it quickly so I skipped all ARI parts (I was not looking for all clues). I didn't found Scott's DNA in Paco office witch leaded to failing "Solving the Puzzle" chapter (I wasn't able to combine "killer is a cop" clue with anything). When I figured this out I killed Jayden using ARI (leave game for ~5 minutes when he is using it and he will eventually stroke to death), but unfortunately trophy didn't pop up. So I'm guessing you HAVE to kill the guy on conveyor belt to get it. There's my advice, please add those two points to this trophy guide so people won't have t | |

Got all the way to Manfred's shop and was trying to clean the prints off of the "window in the office" as the guide says. Went to every freakin piece of glass I could find anywhere near the office and no prompts to clean anything appeared. Didn't know the scene was timed (as guide does NOT specify) and time ran out before I could get finished. FAIL. Now, since autosave was enabled (also as the guide advises), I have to start all freakin over at Hassan's shop. So much time wasted because THE GUIDE ISN'T CLEAR! I'm going to turn auto save off and save only at the beginning of the key scenes so I can reload the game and try again if something goes wrong. Grrr......... Love the site but g*ddamn, | |

Got Ethan arrested in On the Loose, and made him escape in the next chapter with the help of Norman. He had already finished 3 out of 4 trials successfully by then. 4. Had Madison die in Killer's Place. 5. Had Norman die on the conveyor belt. 6. Ethan saves Shaun, after guessing the right address. The Perfect Crime trophy popped with the first epilogue, but then in the news report they mentioned Scott has been identified as the Origami Killer and a manhunt is underway for him. I do not understand how is that a perfect crime. Weird. | |

I used another website for all endings, they gave a better detailed desciption. if I find the site I'll post it on here for.those who need it. it.describes perfect crime in full detail and the rest too. | |

Just to be totally clear with everyone, as I can see everybody still has questions, this is what you have to do (WARNING: SPOILERS/CLUES): -Kill Hassan, Lauren and Kramer -Clean every print at Manfred's (**Be sure to clean the front door and the glass case in front of the counter where Scott answers the phone**) -Kill Madison at the doctor's home -Kill Jayden at Mad Jack's garage -Allow Ethan to be arrested at the motel rooftop ('On the Loose' chapter) You should be rewarded at the end of the game. You then need to kill off Madison and Jayden as stated and have Ethan be arrested the second time in which he will be placed under arrest. Just complete this list and you will get the trophy. | |

I just played through the chapter again making no mistakes at all on both Easy and Hard, but there is no DNA to be found. But you need to rip the gas station receipts from his cloak after he throws you into the fish tank, to narrow down the area where the killer lives. There lives only one cop in the area. And with the DNA he wouldn't need the cop clue, would he? This supposed DNA has never been mentioned before, not on any guide I know. | |

I mean you go from having 4 people survive and only needing to intentionally fail the last part to get "So Close", to having no one alive. Wouldn't it be better to do all the endings where you don't intentionally screw things up before tackling one that requires you to screw up at nearly every turn? The guide pretty much says to play through the game 3 times (with a few modifications) when you could realistically do it 2 times (with a few modifications). | |

It's precisely so you don't have to replay the whole game, that you should follow this guide to get Perfect Crime on the first playthrough. Then you'll only have to replay the very last chapters a couple of times to get all other trophies/endings. See the All Endings Trophy for the exact details. Of course you may like to play the whole game 2-3 times. That's certainly tempting. | |

And Ethan should succeed at at least 3 trials and guess the right address of the warehouse after the The Rat. This is missing from the description for this playthrough, to get Pefect Crime. In fact you should also try to get Nerd, Trial Master and Clever Dad all with the first playthrough, to avoid another. | |

Also the bathroom door if you used it. Then do all the other ones. Make sure you do this before the cops arrive. If done correctly you will see the old man lying on the floor as soon as you leave. If you don't it means you failed, if so QUICKLY exit the game and reload before the next autosave kicks in. | |
