For the Realm Trophy in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn
For the Realm
Complete 100 guildhests.
How to unlock For the Realm
Upon completing your first levequest, the NPC will direct you to the “Battlewarden” and Guildhests will become unlocked.
Guildhests are short team battles meant to teach you the different fighting mechanics within the game. There are a total of 14 unique guildhests, two quests every five levels after level 10 up to level 40. There is no real benefit to completing any guildhest more than once, for the initial bonus, unless you are unsure of your mastery of the mechanic itself. First time bonuses include +200% EXP and Gil.
For the purposes of this trophy, I recommend “Basic Training: Enemy Parties” or “Hero on the Halfshell” as they are generally the quickest to complete. Because of the lack of incentive for the general community to repeat these repeatedly, enlisting in the Duty Finder for five at once will ensure the lowest wait time between duties.
The guildhests are as follows:
Level 10
Basic Training: Enemy Parties
Under the Armor
Level 15
Basic Training: Enemy Strongholds
Hero on the Halfshell
Level 20
Pulling Poison Posies
Stinging Back
Level 25
All’s Well that Ends in the Well
Flicking Sticks and Taking Names
Level 30
More than a Feeler
Annoy the Void
Level 35
Shadow and Claw
Long Live the Queen
Level 40
Ward Up
Solemn Trinity
The trophy will unlock upon the completion of your 100th Guildhest.
Patch 2.1 made this trophy a lot easier. Instead of signing up for individual Guildhests, you can join Guildhest roulette and participate in one at random. Is has made the trophy a lot quicker for most all class. Note that roulette can only be used for solo queuing. You can not queue via roulette with a party.
