Got this one without trying on "Quantum leap". The final big asteroid has some strong enemies/defenses, I didn't knew it so I just sent my whole army of 1200 seedlings, it was the last one so I already had conquered the rest and upgraded the seedling production. I lost around 400 in less than 5 seconds but the number was overwelming and I captured it.

If you even have trouble producing 300+ seedlings since each asteroid only holds 40, place beacons on some small asteroids which you use for defenses and send your seedlings there from the nearby ones, this way the production line never stop and you can amass thousands.
