And welcome to Hell! Trophy in DmC: Devil May Cry

  • And welcome to Hell!

Complete all missions on the Hell and Hell difficulty

How to unlock And welcome to Hell!

This difficulty mode is unlocked after completing the game on Heaven or Hell.

Hell and Hell is the highest difficulty in the game. Enemies have full health and you die in one hit. Your gold orbs will refill automatically at every checkpoint and they don't cost money. You have three lives per checkpoint. During fights always use your "Super Dante" (infinite devil trigger) ability that you got for beating the game on Dante Must Die. After activating devil trigger, enemies will be floating in the air and you can finish them off with air combos or keep shooting them for a while. Also activate devil trigger during boss fights. You will deal a lot more damage and the fights become a lot easier.

  • Challenge accepted with shiny brass bells on
  • Aw hell naw!!!
  • I have never played a single Devil May Cry game; however, I have to say that this looks pretty damn hard.
  • Goddamn. This is really going to be a pain. One hit, were Dante's dead. Enemies have regular life. Challenge accepted as well w/ #1
  • This isnt really a new difficulty it was in dmc 4 it was really tough but with gold orbs you were able to get hit like 4 times technically before you failed and had to restart that was a b*tch to beat but if I could do that I figure this one is possible better prepare for lots of cursing and rage quits
  • Score don't matter and DmC has checkpoints...
  • This one is going to be the trophy that separates the men from the boys, the hardcore gamers from the casual players, the obsessive compulsive masochists from the regular folk. lol JvK B)
  • This really trophy that i afraid it will come Now the worst nightmare it will stand between you and Platinum Trophy or maybe there more hell!!!
  • You are fighting the enemies on normal difficulty and you have checkpoints. The great thing is that you have the bloody palace mode to hone your skills. Some of the boss fights are going to be a real pain in the ass, especially Mundus.
  • this game isnt that hard actually, just beat it on dante must die so you get the super dante perk so you have unlimited trigger and then run through and activate whenever you see enemies
  • Im Only 91% on dmc devil may cry the only problem is Jackpot! trophy can you still go on higher rank such as son of sparda or higher one? or is it have to be just nephilum difficulty? Add Nexuds121
  • looking forward to the challenge
  • The only reason this will suck for me is doing the story over and over and over and over again about 4-5 times.
  • yea to get the platinum i had to beat the story around 7 times, and some levels at least 7-8
  • @Ashleigh: It has to be done on the "nephilum" difficulty. If you check your trophy progress under the extra settings, you'll see a counter (X out of 20) next to the "Jackpot" trophy. Your counter goes up by 1 only if you got an SSS on a nephilum mission.
  • As Jmlucas18 wrote: "just beat it on dante must die so you get the super dante perk so you have unlimited trigger and then run through and activate whenever you see enemies." The only difficult mission is #20. During phase 1, kick the sword back to Vergil - if you fail: restart the mission, if you're successful you'll get the "Epic Party" bonus and may beat Vergil directly into Phase 2 of the fight. From now on, use the Revenant only - since you're in devil mode permanently it's - in my opinion - the safest way but still doing enough damage. During the last phase (Doppelganger) wait a sec, then activate devil mode again - the Doppelganger is now flying in mid-air. Just avoid getting hit by Vergil until the Doppelganger disappears (after Vergil has recovered), then continue by using the Rev
  • enant only. I've used several dozen tries to beat Vergil otherwise but this way worked best for me finally.
  • Beating Vergil was the WORST part. I wanted to throw my controller at the tv. On the third day of trying finally got lucky. Score: me-1 Vergil-100+ Try it yourself and you'll see.
  • For somebody else this trophy will be a great challenge, but for the people like me it's just bullshit.
  • Did it, but for some reason I had 3 gold orbs for whole mission, no refill at checkpoints as it mentioned in guide...but that was allright, if you die, you start at last checkpoint, just causes your rating suffer, which doesn't matter really...and I died in every mission, hate this jumpig stuff, missing platforms :))
  • Dmc devil may cry cant be considered challenging. Just play devil may cry 3 and you will see what does challenge means guys
  • #21 i got dmc3 platinum but this trophy looks hard
  • @20 Yeah, I also got 3 gold orbs for the whole mission...it's probably a patch or less likely the region...I'm from the US...or less likely either that the digital version has that set up...Anyway, game is very laggy so you fall down a lot...but at least Super Dante is allowed which makes things extremely easier.
