As of February 12, 2020, the online servers have been shut down making a number of trophies, including the platinum, unobtainable.

Step 1: Complete the Tutorial

The tutorial will give you a basic rundown on how to play DJ Hero and utilize the turntable properly. You will be shown all the different type of scratches along with how to crossfade, use Effects Zones, Freestyle Sample Zones, Euphoria and Rewinds. Euphoria and Rewinds are key to achieving 5-stars. When you complete the tutorial, you will get Graduation.

Step 2: Watch the Credits

Let's just get this easy trophy out of the way! This will unlock Props!

Step 3: Start Playing Setlists

Start playing all the setlists using whatever difficulty you are used to. Ultimately, you want to have 5 stars on every song with Expert Difficulty. This will take a lot of practice and patience, but you can do it! The difficulty awards do stack, so if you 5 star all songs on hard, you will get the difficulty trophy for both medium and hard. Just by playing the setlists, you will unlock most of the trophies.

Step 4: Online Matches

You need to host and complete at least one online game. You have to join 3 separate games and complete a mix. You also need to win 10 separate games. See the trophy description below for more tips. Matchmaking may take a while and sometimes it will find no one. Use the boosting thread to find yourself a partner to trade wins with. See The New Style, Hello World, Win Online, Headliner, and Supporting Act.

As of February 12, 2020, the online servers have been shut down making these trophies unobtainable.

Step 5: Grab your Peripherals

You will need (1) a Guitar Hero or a Rock Band guitar, (2) another DJ Hero turntable, and (3) a microphone or headset to unlock three of the trophies.
See Double Trouble, Shout Out, The Power of Two and Guitar and DJ for details.

Step 6: Fix Up, Look Sharp (Clean Up)

Check the trophies you have missed and get those. Using quickplay an easy way to see how many stars you have on each difficulty for each song. Don't forget to check the Guitar Quickplay too! They separated the straight up DJ mixes and the DJ vs Guitar mixes. You need 5 stars with the Guitar songs as well (although you don't need a Guitar to get it).

Step 7: PLATINUM

*PING* Congrats! You're a DJ Hero!

As of February 12, 2020, the online servers have been shut down making this platinum unobtainable.

[PST Would Like To Thank Slamma for this Roadmap]

51 trophies ( 41  )

  • Collect all other Trophies.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Earn all the other trophies, to get this one.

  • Complete a setlist on any difficulty setting.

After you complete the tutorial which covers the bases you can play through your first set list (Scratching the surface) or go to the advanced tutorial, it really doesnt matter as you will also get a trophy for doing the advanced tutorial.

Scratching the Surface has a total of 3 mixes but you can edit them and reduce the amount of mixes . This trophy is really easy and you should get it with no problems at all.

  • Complete all mixes at any difficulty setting.

You must complete the 93 mixes that are included in the game and the DLC you buy (if you do so) a really easy trophy but time consuming to know if you have done all the mixes click a setlist and see if the mix has stars and a punctuation. If you are missing (lets say) mix number 5 click triangle and use square to delete the mixes you don't want to do.

Underneath you can see all the setlists and the number of songs in each one:

    1. Scratchin' The Surface 3
    2. Party Rockin' 4
    3. Digging Deeper 4
    4. On The Wheels of Steel 4
    5. Thrashed and Mashed 5
    6. Cut and Paste 4
    7. Grandmaster Flash Presents... 3
    8. Jay-Z Mixtape 4
    9. In the Groove 4
    10. Revenge of the Boom Bap 4
    11. Extended Play 4
    12. Dj Jazzy Jeff Presents... 3
    13. Dj Yoda Presents... 3
    14. Daft Punk Record Bag 8
    15. Born to Rock 5
    16. Breaking Needles 4
    17. DJ A M Presents... 3
    18. DJ Shadow Presents... 4
    19. DJ Period Presents... 2
    20. DJ Z-Trip Presents... 3
    21. Tearing Up Wax 4
    22. Scratch Perverts Presents... 5
    23. The Vinyl Cut 5

  • Successfully perform 10,000 scratches.

A scratch is when you move your hand up or down and press one of the buttons of the LP (which must be either green or blue) at the same time. This is acumulative and you will shurely get it if you are going for the platinum. It's easier to acumulate scratches if they are not directional because you can do more by going faster and they are harder to miss making it harder to fail. If you want to boost this go to the "Scratch Perverts" setlist and mix "Beats and Pieces", which has lots of scratches.

  • Successfully perform 5,000 crossfader moves.

Another acumulative trophy. The crossfader is the thing which you can move from right to left or keep in the middle. Just keep playing and this should come.

If you want to boost this trophy go to "The Vinyl Cut" and select "Groundhog". Dont worry about anything else than crossfader moves but if you want to boost "Super scratchin'" you can also scratch. Note that in beginner and easy difficulties the crossfader isnt used at all

Tip: When you move the crossfader to the middle position you just have to separate it from the side, this makes it alot easier.
Tip: When you use euphoria the crossfader works by itself, but make shure it is in the position at the end so that you dont lose your combo.

  • Turn the effects dial during every Effects Zone, and trigger a sample in every Freestyle Sample Zone in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

This may sound a little hard but it actually is really easy. The effect dial zone is when there is an orange thing which you can move with the dial (the thing next to the euphoria button and the crossfader. And a Freestyle Sample Zones are the red lines which you can tap the red button and a noise is produced (you can change the noise with the dial. This must be done on hard difficulty or above but if we take into account that in DJ hero you can't fail a song you can just turn a bit the dial in every zone and hit the red at least once when indicated. Probably the easiest song to do is the first one: "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" but if you use the method I indicated you should have no problem. However you must move the crosfader to the right place for the dial to work but that isnt hard at all.

Tip: If you just can't do this you can ask someone you turn the dial for you or to hit the red button.

  • Turn the effects dial during every Effects Zone in any mix at any difficulty (not in the tutorial).

You will get this trophy if you are going for freestyle DJ, just play a song and forget about notes, scratches etc. Just turn the dial. However, you must use the crossfader because if the music isnt playing you cant use the dial. So get your left hand into the crossfader and your right hand to the dial. You also need to turn the dial in every red effect zone to use a sampler but this time you must turn it so another sound is pruduced. I recommend doing this at one of the songs of the begging setlist (Scratching the surface) or in the "Boom" vs "Tap" mix by Grandmaster flash where there is no crosfading and you can concentrate on the dial.

  • Successfully perform all scratches in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

As I mentioned before to scratch you must press down either the green or the blue button and move the turnable at the same time. Its indicated with a long line which may have arrows or just some icons. The last mentioned is easier to scratch because you can scratch up and down however you want. You can just concentrate on the crossfader (so the music plays) and on the scratch notes. I recommend doing this on hard at the first set list (Scratching the surface) in the first song ("Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them") because it doesn't have many hard scratches. If you do it on expert it will have directional scratches so go on hard.

  • Successfully press the platter button(s) for all tap icons in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

Another simple trophy. The platter buttons are the three buttons on top of your LP which are of three colors. (Green, Red and Blue) In evey color line a sort of rounded note may appear coming towards you. When it crosses the line where the 3 circles are you must tap the button corresponding to the color. They may come in groups of two or three and you just would need to press them at the same time. If you want to make it easy you can go to the first song ("Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them") and concentrate on the crossfader (so that you can play the notes) and in the notes. The notes are probably the easiest thing out of all the thing you may find in a mix. This must be done in hard or expert but it is really easy if you do it on a simple song.

  • Successfully perform all crossfades and crossfade spikes (if present) in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

To perform a crossfade you must switch the thing which is underneath the euphoria botton and the dial to one of the three positions it has (Left, Middle and right) To get this trophy you must do every crossfade in a song. I recommend that you do it in an easy song such as "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" in which there arent much crossfade moves. If you decide to do it in another song make sure it hasnt got spikes as those are harder. This trophy must be obtained in hard or expert but it still is easy if you concentrate just in the crossfade moves.

Tip: When you move the crossfader to the middle position you just have to separate it from the side, this makes it alot easier.
Tip: When you use euphoria the crossfader works by itself, but make sure it is in the position at the end so that you dont lose your combo.

  • Get a 100% Hits in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

Once you can pass songs on hard difficulty this is going to be easy. You must perform correctly every Sratch, Crossfader move and note of a song in hard or expert dificulty. This trophy requieres 100% so if you over hit a note or something similar and lose you multiplier but still perform everything correctly you will get this. I recommend doing this on hard at the first set list (Scratching the surface) in the first song ("Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them") if you want to go for an easy trophy but if you want to make it fast and you are good taping notes go for "Boom" vs "Tap" mix by Grandmaster flash. There is only tap notes and effects zone (which are optional) so you wont have a really big problem with this trophy.

If you get this trophy you will also get "Fantastic Fader", "Tap King" and "No mistakes allowed". Four trophies in a row can be really sweet.

  • Earn 10 stars by playing any of the mixes in the Grandmaster Flash Presents setlist.

The Grandmaster flash setlist is the eight setlist. It has 2 main mixes and when you earn atleast 3 stars on each one of them you will unlock the third extra/bonus mix ("Boom" vs "Tap") which comes out to be a really easy mix on any difficulty. Once you unlock that mix you will have for sure a total of 6 stars and you will only need 4 more, (which can be easily attained in the third song) theres no difficulty restriction for this trophy so feel free to go on easy but you will need to get 5 stars on every song if you are going for the platinum anyway.

  • Achieve an 8X multiplier during any mix (not in the tutorial).

Another really simple trophy that will be attained very easily. To achieve a multiplier you must complete a streak of notes, crossfade moves, scratches etc. If you streak through 8 notes you get an X2 if you do 16 notes you get an X3 and if you do 24 notes you get an X4. Getting an X4 is easy and once you have the X4 multiplier (or before having it) you must hit the euphoria sections. (The ones that are colored in a light blue) Once you complete one of those section you can tap the euphoria button (which will flash in a red light if its available) and double you multiplier. (1X=2X, 2X=4X, 3X=6X, 4X=8X) The other two ways of doing it are either turning the effects dial in the specific zone when you have an X4 or using rewind when you have an X4.

Here is a simple table to show how it goes:

1X - You will have it at the begging of the song, when you fail and when your streak is lower than 8 notes.

2X - You will get it with a streak of 8-15, if you use rewind or if you use the dial or euphoria having an 1X multiplier.

3X - You will get it having a streak of 16-23.

4X you will get it if you have a streak of 24 or over or if you use the dial, rewind or euphoria having an X2 multiplier.

6X - You will get this if you use euphoria, rewind or turn the dial when you have X3. (streak of 16-23)

8X - You will get this if you use the dial, rewind or use euphoria having a multiplier of X4. (streak of 24 or more)

  • Perform 4 rewinds without missing any icons in any mix on any difficulty.

To rewind you must complete a certain streak of notes which varies on difficulty. Once you complete that streak some letters will pop up saying "Rewind ready" and you will see two green triangles on top of the multiplier pointing to the left. Now is when you have to turn your turnable 360 degrees anticlockwise. You must do this 4 times (at different moments) for the trophy to pop up and that will requiere you to attain the streak at least four times. In beginner you dont need a really big streak but there are not as many notes.

Note that the notes you streak while you do the section you "rewinded" dont count as a streak and your streak number will not move until that section is finished.

Underneath is a table that shows the note streak needed in each difficulty:

Beginner - 20 note streak, a total of 80 for the trophy.
Easy - 30 note streak, a total of 120 for the trophy.
Medium - 40 note streak, a total of 160 for the trophy.
Hard - 50 note streak, a total of 200 for the trophy.
Expert - 60 note streak, a total of 240 for the trophy.

  • Complete the tutorial Learn to DJ - Advanced Techniques.

Once you open the game and insert it into your Playstation the only thing you will be able to do is the "Learn to DJ: The Basics" tutorial, which consists of 5 easy tutorials:

    1.Welcome to DJ Hero
    2.Taps
    3.Scratches
    4.Crossfader
    5.Stars

Once you've completed this you will be asked if you want to do the advanced tutorial, which consists of 6 tutorials which are a little bit harder than the ones you did before. Continue with the next tutorial, "Learn to DJ: Advanced Techniques" which is formed by the following 6 short tutorials:

    Learn to DJ: Advanced Techniques
    1.Directional scratch
    2.Scratch sequences
    3.Crossfade spikes
    4.Euphoria
    5.Rewinds
    6.Freestyling

You dont have to complete them correctly but I recommend you do because if you don't know this techniques you wont have chances of getting much of the trophies in this game.

  • Complete a 2 player one on one local game (DJ v DJ only).

This trophy must be the most expensive bronze you will see. It's a really easy trophy but you will need another DJ controller. There is nothing that can be used as one so you need to buy or borrow of someone. Once you have the two turnable go to any setlist and when the two squares appear and in the left one there is a DJ tap the green button and you will just have to complete a mix.

  • Join 3 online games, completing at least one mix in each game.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Go to the "Online" feature at the left of the menu. Then you must search for online players. If you do not find players change the difficulty level you are playing in and try again. "Quick play" isn't really good at finding players so if you go to the other "Quick play" at the left of the menu there are more chances of finding someone. Once you are with someone mix a setlist. Do this 3 times and the trophy should pop up.

You do not need to win these matches but if you do it will count forward to the "Win Online" trophy.

You can use the boosting herehere if you really can't find anyone.

  • Host and complete an online game.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

This trophy is really easy but if you have a slow connection you may have problems. I did have problems with my connection but I did this trophy in the house of a friend with a faster connection.

You will have to go to the second option at the left of the menu and then click on "Create Match", then you must choose a setlist, being quickplay the one that people most decide to play. If you have problems with that change the difficulty level and maybe other people will be playing in that level. Alternatively you can invite a friend by clicking in "Create Private match".

You do not need to win these matches but if you do it will count towards the "Win Online" trophy.

You can use the boosting threadhere if you really can't find anyone.

  • Win 10 online games.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

You must go to the "Play online" option in the menu and once there you can create a match or join one, it really doesnt matter but if you create it you can choose the songs you are better at. I can't really help you with this trophy but my only advice is choosing another difficulty level that is easier than yours so you can do even better and win.

If you make setlist of one song and you win it, it willl make the trophy go faster

You can use the boosting thread here to help you if you can't win or find someone.

  • Complete your first mix (not in a tutorial).

Once you finish your Basics tutorial on how to be a DJ you will be able to choose a setlist called "Scratching the surface". It is formed by three songs but just by mixing one you will get this trophy. It doesn't matter how well you do, you will get this trophy anyway.

  • Earn 4 stars in any mix on hard difficulty.

*See "Turnable Perfection" for more information*

If you are not going for "Four in Twenty" do "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" as it is easy to 4/5 star. This must be done on hard.

  • Earn 5 stars in any mix on expert difficulty.

*See "Turnable perfection" for more information*

If you are not going for turnable perfection play "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" as it is easy to 5 star. This must be done on expert.

  • Unlock a bonus mix on any set list (where available).

Some of the setlist, more precisely the ones that have as a tittle "Dj Something", have a locked mix underneath the first unlocked ones, this are extra/bonus mixes that you will unlock if you get a certain number of stars in the unlocked mixes. You can do this at the "Grandmaster Flash" setlist which requires you to get 3 or more stars in the mixes available, which are 2. You can do this on any difficulty you wish so this is a rather easy trophy.

This trophy only requires you to unlock one bonus mix.

  • Have your score posted to the online leaderboard.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

When you play an online match, either creating or joining one, you will need to play at least one mix, when you do that your score will automatically be posted on the online leaderboard. It doesn't matter at all if you win or not, you just have to complete it. If you are going for any online trophy you will get this one for sure with no trouble.

  • Attain a 50 streak in any mix on hard difficulty or above using a DJ Hero™ Turntable Controller.

    *See "200 Deep"*

  • Attain a 300 streak in any mix on expert difficulty using a DJ Hero™ Turntable Controller.

To get a streak you must tap, scratch and do every crossfade move so you don't fail anything. (even over scratching or over tapping will reset your streak) I would recommend you did this trophy on the first mix but it doesn't have 300 notes. The first mix that has over 300 notes is "I found that the Masta Ace"/"Jean Knight", which has slightly over. (335 notes) You must do this on expert, in this song there are no spikes and there are directional scratches but they are not complicated and follow the rythm so simply observe how the scratch starts and when it finishes, the rest is rythm. If you can do this trophy you surely can go for hard trophies in this game.

This must be done in DJ and not in the guitar controller.

  • Attain a 200 streak in any mix on hard difficulty or above using a DJ Hero™ Turntable Controller.

To get a streak you must tap, scratch and do every crossfade move so you don't fail anything (even over scratching or over taping will stop your streak. This trophy must be done on hard or expert but if you want to go easy select the first song of "Scratching the surface", "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them", on hard difficulty and you will not have problems with directional scratches. This song has over 200 notes overall so don't worry about that. At the right, where the multiplier you can see your streak if you get over a certain number first.

When you rewind the notes that you play it won't count as a streak until you finish the rewinded section so I wouldn't recommend using it as you may lose your streak in the act.

  • Complete a mix in every venue.

To unlock venues you must get a certain number of stars. The stars are shown if you go to the unlocked ones. Once you have them all you just have to mix one song in each of the seven venues.

To unlock the venues you can play on any difficulty so this may just take some time.

Here is a list of venues:

    1. The Krunk House
    2. Block Party
    3. Rise
    4. The Wrecking Ball
    5. The Mansion
    6. The Main Stage
    7. Day of the Dead
    8. Times Square
    9. Logic

  • Earn 5 Stars in any 10 mixes on medium difficulty or above.

*See "Turnable perfection" for more information*

This one is a easier than "Five star" but it may take more time because you need to five star 10 songs/mixes. It can be done on medium or above, being easier to do it in medium. If you want easy songs go to quickplay and sort them by intensity, then chose the first 10 songs that appear.

You must 5 star 10 different mixes.

  • Earn 4 Stars in any 20 mixes on medium difficulty or above.

*See "Turnable perfection" for more information*

This trophy will come in some time. Getting four stars in a song isn't much of a challenge. 20 may sound hard if you are not really good at this game but it isn't hard as it can be done on medium difficulty, it is just more time consuming than hard. If you want easy songs go to quick play and sort song by intensity, then chose the first 20 songs.

    You can't 4 star a mix 20 times.

  • Earn 5 Stars in any 20 mixes on medium difficulty or above.

*See "Turnable perfection" for more information*

This one is a easier than "Five in Ten" but just requires you to 5 star 10 more songs/mixes. It can be done on medium or above, being easier to do it in medium. If you want easy songs go to quickplay and sort them by intensity, then chose the first 20 songs that appear.

You must 5 star 20 different mixes.

  • Watch the entire credits.

A very simple trophy. Once in the menu click select and you will be directed to the options menu, there you must select credits and wait for the 13 minutes it lasts for. It's the easiest trophy in the game and you shouldn't have any problems with it.

  • Earn 5 stars in every mix on hard difficulty or above.

*See "Turnable Perfection" for more information*

Same as "Turntable Perfection" but in hard. If you get "Turnable Perfection" before this you will unlock this one aswell as the "Grandmaster" trophy.

  • Earn 5 stars in every mix on medium difficulty or above.

*See "Turnable perfection" for more information*

One of the hardest trophies in the game but attainable with some time. This trophy is nothing compared to "Turnable perfection" and if you get "Turnable perfection" you will get this. If you do them separately it can be time consuming.

  • Perform a 360 degree rewind in any mix without missing any icons on hard or expert difficulty.

*See "720 Degrees" for more imformation*
*See "REEEWIINNNNDD!!!" for more information about streaks needed*

Same as "720 Degrees" but just one whole turn. You can do this trophy on hard difficulty, select an easy song such as "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" or any song of "Scratching the surface" and get the streak needed. Check "720 Degrees" for more tips and information.

  • Perform a 720 degree rewind in any mix without missing any icons on expert difficulty.

Probably the easiest silver of the game. To get the ability to rewind you must do a certain streak and a message will pop up saying "Rewind ready". Once you have it ready I highly recomend you wait for a pause and a moment when there aren't many hard bits, (you could newly use "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" for this trophy) when you find the moment and have the rewind ready turn the platter 2 full ways (a total of 720 degrees) in a short period of time, then make sure not to miss any note which may not be an issue if you select an easy part. This technique can be used to get more points.

This must be done on expert so you must attain atleast a 60 note streak.

  • Construct and play all the mixes in a quicklist online with another player.

    UNOBTAINABLE, DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

In the main menu go to the "Play Online" option and then select create a match. After that go to the left were it says "Quick Play", wait till someone joins and then use the square botton () to add atleast one song. Once this is done you and your "opponent" must finish the song and the trophy will pop up.

If you don't find an opponent you can invite a friend and create the Set list as mentioned above.

If you don't have any friends use the boosting thread here.

  • Play the Guitar DJ mode with one player as the DJ and the other as the Guitarist.

A very simple trophy but expensive. You will need one Dj hero controller and a guitar/band hero guitar. Every guitar that works in your PS3 should work for this trophy. Make sure you have the two receivers plugged into the USB slots and turn on both instruments then go to "Guitar setlist" and select one song. There are only a few songs for guitar and DJs but you only need 1.

There are two setlist which you can do on Guitar and Dj which are:

    - Thrashed and Mashed
    - Born to Rock

  • Perform 20 rewinds.

    *See "REEEWIINNNNDD!!!" for more information*

The technique is explained in the trophy mentioned, this is a cumulative and you will get it in no time.

Here I will repeat the streak needed in each difficulty:

    Beginner - 20 note streak.
    Easy - 30 note streak.
    Medium - 40 note streak.
    Hard - 50 note streak.
    Expert - 60 note streak.

  • Complete any 10 mixes in 10 different outfits.

When you reach a certain number of stars you will unlock a DJ. You must use 10 of them in 10 different mixes. Pretty straight forward, use the last one you unlock all the time and the trophy will come.

  • Earn 20 stars by playing any of the mixes in The Vinyl Cut setlist.

The Vinyl Cut is the last setlist for which you will need the most stars to unlock. It has 5 of the hardest mixes of the game, such as "Groundhog" from "Noisa". This trophy would be a problems if it wasn't for one fact... that you can do it on any level. So feel free to go on the easiest level as there will be no restrictions. "Groundhog" is a lot easier on easy because the hardest part of this song is the crossfader and in easy there is no crossfader so that makes it even easier. There are a total of 5 songs in which you can score a maximun of 25 stars so 4 straring every song will be enough. If you get 5 star in one song you will be able to get 3 stars in one and still get 20 stars. So do as best as you can or go on easy for this trophy.

  • Earn 15 stars by playing any of the mixes in the DJ Shadow Presents setlist.

The "DJ Shadow Presents..." setlist is about the 20th you will unlock, it has a total of 4 songs and you can score a maximum of 20 stars. you can easily get 4 stars in every song on beginner difficulty if needed and you will be one star over, it is an advanced setlist and may be a little hard but you can do it on any level so this trophy will be no problem at all.

  • Unlock all available bonus mixes from all setlists.

Some setlists have a locked song that requieres you to do something. (mostly get 3 stars or more on each song of the setlist) You will know which setlist do have an unlockable song because it says "Extra rythmn" and what you must do to unlock it. You can unlock this on any level you want.

If you want to know which setlist have bonus mixes they are the ones that are from famous real DJs, such as Grandmaster Flash and Daft Punk.

  • Earn 5 stars in every mix on expert difficulty.

I can't really help you with this trophy. This one is based on skill and patience and if you get this one you will get all the other "Five star every song on X difficulty"

This trophy will probably keep people away from the platinum and if you get this one you are ridiculously good at DJ hero.

If you have bought DLC you must 5 star it aswell.

    Some general tips and advice:

-Use euphoria in sections were the are lots of crossfader moves and spikes because when you are using euphoria they go automatically.
-Use euphoria when you have (and you know you will mantain) X4. This will boost it to X8 and that give lots of points
-If you are waiting for a section with crossfader or for an X4 and neither some use euphoria if you think the song is about to finish.
-Don't use euphoria in rewinds or in section were you can turn the dial as those thing will double your multiplier aswell and you don't wan't to waste euphoria.
-When you have the chance to turn the dial do it as it will double your multiplier.
-When you turn the dial do it as fast as you posibly can to gain more points.
-Rewind as soon as you can because if you have one rewind available you can't get another.
-Rewind in sections with lots of notes etc.
-Rewind when you have and X4 if it is posible.
-Streak is more important than percentage, it will give you more points.
-The character, deck and headphones you use don't influnce gamplay.
When using the crossfader don't change it to the exact middle position, if you just separate it a bit from the edge it will work the same.
-When using euphoria, start to use the crossfader when you have just a bit of it left so your crossfader ends in the right postion.
-If you see that the crossfade line moves somewhere that is not the middle, move it until it can't go further.
-If you are in an edge and the crossfader goes to the middle separate it and don't go to far from the edge you were in.
-Use the same technique mentioned above in spikes
-For directional scratches see were it starts and ends, then just try to follow a rythem
-To practice directional scratches mix "Beats and pieces" on expert.
-To practice crossfader moves mix "Groundhog"
-To practice taping notes mix "Boom"/"Tap"
-Cover the Playstation buttons so when using euphoria you don't confuse.

  • Earn 50 Hot Starts in any complete mixes.

To get a Hot Start you must 100% the beginning section of a mix. This trophy can be done on any difficulty level and it is accumulative so you can repeat a certain song over and over if you want to boost it. If not just play the normal way and if you go for platinum you will surely get it. Boosting this trophy may result extremely boring.

  • Complete any mix using a microphone or headset in a single player game.

The third simple, but expensive trophy. This one is cheaper than "Double trouble" and "Guitar and DJ" because you can use lots of microphones and headsets. The Singstar mics will work so if you have one go ahead, if you play on-line games it's possible that you have a headset, plug it into the USB and the trophy will pop up. The Playstation Eye camera will also work as it has a little mic.

If it's an official Sony mic/headset it may sync automatically with your PS3 but if its not and you think it will not work try to sync it.

Once you have everything ready, simply complete any mix.

  • Complete all the Perfect Regions and activate Euphoria in any mix on hard difficulty or above.

This trophy requires you to 100% every euphoria section, which are the one colored in a light blue, and then to deploy the euphoria by hitting the red flashing button. You must use all of the euphoria you receive so my only advice is to go on an easy song, such as "Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" and concentrate only on the euphoria regions. When you mix one section correctly deploy the euphoria, now you won't have to worry about not mixing the note. This must be done on hard or expert.

Make sure that when you are going to go for the euphoria section the crossfader is on the right place to start, you may also use euphoria on euphoria section so that crossfade moves are done automatically.

You can use the "Boom"/"Tap" mix by Grandmaster Flash which is really short and there are a few euphoria sections.

  • Successfully play all the Perfect Regions in any mix on hard difficulty or above, without activating Euphoria.

See "Euphoria DJ" for more information

Same as "Euphoria DJ" but don't deploy euphoria. You can do it easily on Ain't no love in the heart of the city"/"Fuzz and them" or in the "Boom"/"Tap" mix by Grandmaster Flash which is really short and there are a few euphoria sections.

  • Both players activate Euphoria and Star Power simultaneously in Guitar DJ Mode.

See "Guitar and DJ" for more information

If you did the "Guitar and DJ" trophy you should have a guitar. Once you enter the song wait until both of you and star power and Euphoria ready. To have enough euphoria you must mix correctly one section atleast but in guitar you must play correctly atleast 2 starpower phrases. Once the two instruments are ready hit the euphoria button and either the select/star power button on your guitar or tilt it.

  • Complete an 8 mix custom setlist on medium difficulty or above and get at least 3 stars on all mixes.

Go to the "Custom DJ setlist" feature at the main menu and there you must add (By clicking the square button) 8 different mixes. Feel free to go on medium, then you must get at least 3 stars in every song you added. You can arrange songs by intensity and chose the easiest ones if you find trouble. Is an easy trophy but hard compared to the other DJ-hero bronze trophies.

  • Complete a setlist using the Ghetto Blaster deck.

This deck is the last one you will unlock. It will requiere a total of 468 stars and that isn't easy at all but you can do it at any difficulty level you want. You will get two gold trophies for 5 staring every song on hard and expert and a silver trophy for doing it on medium so you can unlock the deck while going for those trophies. Once you unlock it just select it simply comlete any song and the trophy will pop up.
