| Comment #2 by Draco416 Tuesday, October 02, 2012 @ 08:53:21 PM Rejected. I couldn't stand that about Deus Ex: They implement all these awesome weapons and killing mechanics, then tell you not to kill anyone. I'll pass on the Platinum this time around. | |
| Comment #3 by Drowzee7 Wednesday, October 03, 2012 @ 05:17:27 AM I'll try for this but for me it'll be a challenege | |
| Comment #4 by U2_2009 Wednesday, October 03, 2012 @ 10:33:28 AM @2 well if the game is really good, why not play it again to get this trophy. | |
| Comment #5 by ChaosD Tuesday, October 09, 2012 @ 06:43:45 AM @#2 My thoughts exactly. I'm currently playing Deus Ex and nearing the end. It's kind of frustrating at times to have that inventory full of guns only for the purpose of fighting bosses. Though I agree with #4. I hope they implement some sort of statistics like in Metal Gear where you can check whether you accidently killed someone or not. This constant fear in Deus Ex not to know whether you're still in or not is really annoying. | |
| Comment #6 by Cornagandarub Friday, October 12, 2012 @ 03:54:44 PM @2 So you're only going to play the game once using one play style? Why even spend $60 on the game? | |
| Comment #7 by W1CK3DD3M0N Saturday, October 13, 2012 @ 11:27:12 PM got a quick question, when they state that you cant be seen or kill anyone throughout a mission, what consists of a mission? i've been doing well without any kills or being seen, got up to the section where you find an audio card for slackjaw and return it to him, the minute i walk into the distillery section some guy cuts the head off another guy and then sees me and attacks me, is this a glitch or has this happened to any of you as well? seems like this trophy is gonna be near impossible to do | |
| Comment #8 by tony26 Sunday, October 14, 2012 @ 06:07:44 AM does this include not killing weepers and those clam annoying things? | |
| Comment #9 by xXHeadsh0tAssassinXx Monday, October 15, 2012 @ 01:17:46 AM @#7 Haven't had that happen to me but you could always try blinking up to the pipe system as soon as you enter. @#8 you cant kill any humanoid targets to get the trophy. In other words you can kill rats, river krust, the fish or any other types of creatures. Weepers are still humans, just with the plague. | |
| Comment #10 by godofwar Saturday, October 20, 2012 @ 04:47:23 PM Do weepers count as being alerted if they see you? | |
| Comment #11 by JMo Sunday, October 21, 2012 @ 05:58:15 AM I completed the game without alerting or killing anyone, but this trophy (and the clean hands one) never popped for me. Even if I go to the main menu and look at the mission stats, it says "no kills, no alerts" etc etc. The only thing I can think of is that I killed one dog. Maybe it doesn't register on the missions stats page, but counts against this trophy. It sucks. | |
| Comment #12 by NachtKaiser Friday, October 26, 2012 @ 12:43:01 PM #11 it includes the assassins in the Prologue. Just keep blocking and they'll leave after a while. Annoying, but this can screw your trophy up. I have a question about this one though: Can you get both Clean Hands and Ghost in one playthrough? | |
| Comment #13 by Endarspire Saturday, November 03, 2012 @ 09:53:43 PM #10 Yes they do count towards alerts #12 yeah you can i got ghost when i went for the clean hands trophy | |
| Comment #14 by bode95 Tuesday, December 04, 2012 @ 08:05:13 PM #12 Are you sure that it includes the assassins in the Prologue? In the trophy description it says "after the Prologue". | |
| Comment #15 by OddAttachment Tuesday, December 18, 2012 @ 08:14:14 AM Yeah this all sounds like 'The foxiest of the hounds' and 'Pacifist' trophies from Deus Ex. Bit of a pain but ultimately very rewarding once done. Does anyone know if there are any indicators throughout the game that inform you whether or not you've either killed or alerted anyone? Cheers. | |
| Comment #16 by Tacanacy Monday, December 24, 2012 @ 02:53:26 PM @6 What do you think of paying 100 bucks for a game? That's the price in my country! @2 is absolutely right, but on the other hand, it's a optional challenge, but still, I'm darn sick of the moral in this game or other games for that matter. Regardless of what you're paying, you're logically enough going to play how you like it and not how you're told to play it, but unfortunately in my case, I care too much about trophies, therefore I don't look at the trophies after first playthrough, otherwise it would ruin the joy- cuz I don't play games where I don't kill. | |
| Comment #17 by Tacanacy Tuesday, December 25, 2012 @ 11:58:18 AM Does it mean all the missions in the game?? | |
| Comment #18 by Aboelsas Sunday, January 20, 2013 @ 03:07:12 PM this trophy sucks i finished the game without killing anyone and i still didn't get the trophy i am sure i haven't killed anything so pissed atm !! | |
| Comment #19 by rharris27 Friday, January 25, 2013 @ 06:02:00 PM I have played through the game, not killed anyone, and not been seen... when I look at the mission stats for every single mission it is perfect, no alerts, no bodies found, no kills.... yet I have not received the trophy, really annoyed!! Any ideas as to why, or how I can get the trophy to "re-load", I've had similar problems on other games, and usually the trick is to just simply replay the last mission and the trophy appears, but not for this game, Help would be much appreciated! | |
| Comment #20 by HollowHeart Wednesday, January 30, 2013 @ 03:44:36 PM @rharris27, wel it says "You completed all missions after the prologue, alerting or killing no one but key targets" so you have, so you have to be alerted bij key targets, of kill them, i think you know who those people are?, Like Daud at the end, the pendletons brothers, for example. you have to do it in one playtrough, if you've succeeded in every mission except one, you cant go to mission select, and do it over that way. It won't work | |
| Comment #21 by DontBlastME Thursday, February 07, 2013 @ 07:38:58 PM @16 really then just dont buy the game if you only want to play through a game one and platinum it whats the point, trophy hunting is all about taking on challenges if you want to plat a game in one playthrough your not going to find many. And does anybody know if bodies being discovered counts for this? | |
| Comment #22 by rangerfan7187 Monday, February 18, 2013 @ 01:45:32 PM Bodies don't count. I would finish a mission with 3 bodies found and I was still never detected. This wasn't terribly hard with a walkthrough. I had trouble with mission 2 and 9 but other than that it was easy. I got this, shadow, clean hands, poetic justice, and mostly flesh and steel in about six hours. I checked out a lot of walkthroughs and this is the best one I found: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_kSqektq3EE He does each mission in about 10 minutes. | |
| Comment #23 by Tacanacy Friday, March 22, 2013 @ 02:03:54 AM When it says not to alert anyone, what exactly does that mean? Do you alert a guard when white markers appear over his head or when they turn yellow, or red? | |
| Comment #24 by AppleStache Tuesday, March 26, 2013 @ 05:19:54 PM @23 If the detection meter's three bars get full then disappear and they say something like, "Aha!" or "Gotcha now!" and some music starts playing, that means you are detected. | |
| Comment #25 by AppleStache Tuesday, March 26, 2013 @ 05:26:38 PM Also, can you use the pacifist ways like the heritics brand or slackjaw and things like that? | |
