Best part was i had to start from the beggining all over again cause i delete the game data. | |

Lots and lots and lots of sand. I rubberbanded the controller with a slight sideways tilt and War has been going in circles for a while now :p | |
| Comment #10 by WallCrawlingHero Friday, February 01, 2013 @ 07:31:18 PM I just did a quick study for this. Ruin runs at about .67 miles a minute, or 40.2 miles per hour. If you haven't used him at all this averages out to just under 2.5 hours of riding to hit 100 miles. This doesn't factor in his boost ability which will speed up the process, but requires you to be controlling him. If you're planning on leaving him running on autopilot it shouldn't take more than two and a half hours to get this trophy. | |
| Comment #11 by WallCrawlingHero Monday, February 04, 2013 @ 05:14:30 PM I just ran a few more tests because I got really bored doing this trophy. I tried a number of different combinations using the boost button and running in tight circles vs. more elongated paths around larger areas. My general conclusion is that the fastest way to finish this is to just mash the hell out of the boost button until you're out of boosts, then repeat as soon as they fill back up. This worked slightly better than trying to time them out or only doing one boost then letting it refill. The path doesn't seem to matter as long as you're not stopping or slowing down to turn. I averaged about .95 miles per minute/57 mph (some runs were in the .8's and I had one as high as 1.2) which would get you to 100 miles in about 1 hour 45 minutes. This post has no advice, just my experience with gameplay (potential spoiler) People following the easy, one play through trophy will not get this as quick as expected. I gotta a lot of miles my first play through from mashing the *ell of the boost because I was tired of walking and I didn't know what to do on that dang worm fight (1st one). The second worm fight, again plenty miles, I was lost because it had a metal muzzle on its mouth; mind you, i just ran like *hell all day a d shot a never upgrade pistol (sometimes shooting the wrong way) I didn't use any of the walkthroughs or this guide till I got to the collectible items needed, because like God of War, it's a straight walkthrough with no real missable trophies (except the helicopter).. If you insist you will ride enough to get this trophy without farming it, i doubt it... So save yourself some time and farm this as soon as possible when you go to bathroom, take a shower, eat or whathever... Do not leave this to the last one like i did... You eill not save time riding like a crazy during your game play. I ender the game with 370 miles, just after unlock this one. | |
