This Glitch happens at least 20 times in my entire playthrough. Last time I have play a game like this was Ninja Gaiden 3 and my PS3 die a few days later. The same Glitch happen on my 2 PS3. Really sad for you cause the Glitch will not let you pass in your case. | |

I've restarted my game a dozen times, I got the book to work once after the very first time this happened but after that I haven't had any luck | |
| Comment #4 by TehMasian Saturday, August 18, 2012 @ 02:35:31 PM @ShadowDraygon The same thing happened to me, the freezing at the exact location, and I tried your advice which was to reload and I'll admit it did work, the first time. However that's the only time that it worked. I only hope that other players experience this glitch so that there might be the chance that it can be "patched," because at this point I am getting thoroughly annoyed with the amount of freezing that occurs. | |

I did it 3 times, then on the 4th try, I tried fast traveling out and back and it still didn't work. I've given up and I'm gonna do Sleeping Dogs until it gets patched, because this seriously has to get patched. | |

| Comment #9 by TehMasian Sunday, August 19, 2012 @ 11:42:56 AM A buddy of mine froze after he beat the Deposed King and collected all of the loot/gear and so he rebooted and the game glitched on him. He doesn't have to quest for the Deposed King, the loot/gear, and the Deposed King is no long in the area in which he's fought. | |

They better fix it soon cause I only have four trophies left for platinum and two of them I need the maze for. The Secondary Quest trophy and All you can eat buffet cause there is a stone in the maze after one of the levels. | |

There's a thread on the game forums (and on the Darksiders II official forums, I believe) which has a pretty high chance of success. I had it freeze up on me a couple of times so I checked the interwebs for a solution. It's a simple fix and worked perfectly for me, hasn't broken again despite using the book multiple times. | |
| Comment #14 by Mnemic1987 Tuesday, September 04, 2012 @ 03:59:58 AM the gamma think didn't worked for me! this technique worked just fine: approach the book till the "O" prompt is on screen, then change something on the options (for me it was the vibration) so the game saves that way (DO NOT SAVE MANUALLY), resume and click the book! hope this helps :) thanks to "hawknz" for the solution! | |
