The Platinum unlocks when you have all the other trophies.

In the game there are secret areas. They usually aren't hard to find and you should find all while you are exploring looking for all the Mugics and Battlegears. Make sure you find all the secret areas in each area before you move to the next story area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing Select then viewing the logbook.

If you have scanned all different types of creatures you will get this trophy after the first fight with Takinom at the same time you get the "Defeated Shadow Takinom" trophy. You need to scan each creature you come across at least once to 100% and win the battle. It is best to scan them the first battle you encounter them since some only appear in 1 or 2 battles.

You will need to win every battle in the game. Make sure you win all battles before leaving the area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing Select then viewing the logbook. If you have defeated every creature the trophy unlocks after the credits have finished.

Story related. This unlocks after you win the last battle in Gothos Tower.

You must have scanned at least one creature from each tribe in the game and refined at least one from each tribe. Creatues in the game are sorted into tribes and there are four tribes: OverWorld, Mipedian, Danian and UnderWorld.

About halfway through the game you will get the ability to refine creatures. You need refine points to do this and the points will then start falling as red orbs from bugs you defeat in the game world.

In order to refine a creature you will need three scans of the same creature and the scans need to be the same level (you can tell what level a creature is by how many stars are on the card). You get scans by scanning in battle (hold L2 when the creature attacks and follow the on screen circle with the left analog stick) until it reaches 100%. You need to do that three times for the same creature so you have three cards. If they aren't the same level you will have to keep scanning when you come across that creature in later battles.

To refine press Select to go to logbook, and go to Army Editor. The top spot tells you how many scans you have of the creature and that scans level. Press Square to go to the refining screen and move three scans into the spots on the left and press Square. Once you have done this for a creature from each of the four tribes the trophy will unlock.

Battlegear hideouts are blue symbols on walls that you have to scan (press square). You also get battlegears from winning battles so make sure you win every possible battle and explore everywhere. Make sure you find all the battlegear hideouts in each area before you move to the next story area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing Select then viewing the logbook.

Throughout the game you will earn Mugic by winning battles and by finding it lying on the ground. You need to find at least one of all the types of Mugic in the game. Make sure you win every battle and explore everywhere to find all the Mugics. Make sure you find all the Mugics in each area before you move to the next story area. You can check to see your progress in each area by pressing Select then viewing the logbook.

Story related. After the battle with Takinom you will be in an area with large steps going up. At the top is a battle. Once you win it head the way your supposed to and make your way over the jumps. Once you are heading down winding stairs the game will load and the trophy will unlock.

Story related. After you find the 6th Mugic fragment you will see a cut scene with Chaor for the first time and you will be spotted by Takinom and a battle with her will happen. This trophy unlocks after you win that battle.

Story related. There is a cut scene with a character named Wallash in the prison cell. Following the cut scene you fight him. This trophy unlocks after you win the battle.

Story related. In Gigantempopolis Maxxor is the second fight you have to complete in this area, and after winning the fight you will get this trophy.
