For killing Gremlins with Silver daggers you can actually use Explosive daggers (Dark + Dagger) it is a 1 hit kill move and it is actually the most effective way of taking care of those pests on Paladin, lure them to spawn and then run back the chain and from a safe distance kill one by one, before the chain is a magic fountain so you can recharge once you are done to face the Swordsmasters up ahead.
