Introduction
Call of Duty World at War is a fun game at start, with a decent storyline and the same gameplay style as previous titles. In my opinion I found it quite difficult to platinum because it in veteran mode you seem to always get grenade spams. On veteran you may possibly feel like giving up but DON'T, the veteran missions can be done you just need either a lucky run, a hell of a lot of skill or to hope for the best. The trophies themselves are mostly campaign based with the exception of the coop trophies. You may struggle too. This game is possible to be done in one playthrough because veteran is unlocked right at the start. Saying this, I'd recommend that you play on an easier difficulty if you have never played a COD game before.

How to do it in one playthrough
Basically run through the missions but be aware of the mission specific trophies that you can get on that mission and then try to get them as well. You will get stuck but if you have played COD before its the same story. Finish the story then go onto the coop trophies and get them.

How to get in two playthroughs
This is the runthrough that I decided to opt for. I was never really that good at COD:MW mostly played online but this one had trophies so I did the campaign this time.
First you should start the campaign and play on regular, this way you will be able to get used to the controls and hopefully learn the best and safe route for when you play it on veteran. It is possible to complete the campaign on regular in one sitting as it is about 5-6 hours long and isn't that hard to do on easier difficulties. I would recommend you get the mission specific trophies playing on the easier difficulty as it means that you can just focus on getting through the missions on veteran.
Okay once this is out of the way start on veteran. The difference of veteran and hardened isn't that bad and isn't impossible. Just aim to get through the mission and it may take a few tries but don't worry you'll eventually learn the area and how to get past it. Checkpoints feel like saviours now, dont they?

[PS3T would like to thank Dagger471 for this Road Map]

Introduction
This map DLC for Call of Duty: World at War for zombies is known to be one of the hardest maps to achieve much on and that's the reason I am creating this Trophy Guide and Road Map. Hopefully this Trophy Guide will help you out in the easiest way possible to get a hold of these 10 trophies.

I don't really have steps for you to achieve these trophies, but I do have a few tips that you can read down below in the trophy guide. Some trophies may be easier to get when solo and some are easier when you're playing with others.

Glitches
Here are some glitches that may help you get the trophies

(Credit to DeckedOutProductions for the video.)
NOTE: This glitch works best in the Fishing Hut and the Doctor's Quarters, since the boxes are near the Perk-A-Cola machines.

(Credit to chaksince77 for the video)
NOTE: This glitch is mainly used for Round skipping, but also used for getting massive points.

[PS3T Would Like to Thank [PS3T]Kira for this Roadmap]

***Veteran Tips***

1. Cover is your God in this game, use it to its maximum. Veteran requires you to be good at covering yourself. Remember, you can get killed by three shots anywhere. Most of the cover you find is simply not suited to you standing up, so press when at cover, it also makes you a smaller target. Sometimes prone can help a lot, even though you are on the ground you may be able to see your enemy.

2. The most common problem is grenades. Watch your grenade indicator at all times. In Veteran, enemies spam grenades like crazy and with pinpoint accuracy; so you sometimes get the feeling that it's impossible. The best way to avoid grenades is to throw them straight back if you can, if you can't though simply run into the nearest cover or at least get out of the grenades range, but watch for enemies shooting. You don't want to run into their bullets now, do ya?

3. Checkpoints, these damn things are ill-placed and so random. If you played through on a lower difficulty, try to remember where you got your last checkpoint on whatever mission you are doing. Try thinking about how you got to it and you might have a useful tactic.

4. Patience is the key on Veteran; if you don't have it then simply don't play Veteran. The grenades and endless enemies may make you want to go all Rambo-esque and run out, but you'll die more than likely within a second or two, so watch out.

5. Your teammates, they are a godsend at times and incredibly stupid at others. They are helpful, so use them closely. You have to push yourself into the enemies to get your teammates to move up, unless you want them to stand there shooting the sky? They are also handy for ammo if you need it, simply kill one of the privates by 'accident' and retrieve his ammo, but don't kill anyone past the rank of private, or else it will restart from the last checkpoint.

6. Smoke grenades are key to getting along in the American missions, they really do help a lot. So if you have them, use them to distract enemy MG nests or even to hide the enemies view so you can kill them.

Carlson's Raiders
Complete 'Semper Fi' on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Finish Sempre Fi on any difficulty.

Stormed Peleliu
Establish a beachhead at Peleliu Island on any difficulty. (Solo only) (1)

Finish all missions up until, and including, Relentless.

The Last Stand
Survive the conflict in Okinawa on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Finish all missions up until, and including, Breaking Point.

Stabbed in the Heart
Complete all missions on the Eastern Front on any difficulty. (Solo only)

Finish all missions up until, and including, Downfall.

Hardened War Hero
Complete the game on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. (Solo only) (14)

Finish up to, and including, Downfall on Hardened or Veteran. Also refer to Bearing the Burden for veteran tips. Congratulations on finishing on Hardened/Veteran.

This trophy is glitched and this is what legndorock has to say about it:

"To unlock Hardened War Hero you must have beaten the game on Hardened or Veteran difficulty. Be aware though that even if you've completed the game on Veteran and even have all the trophies to prove it there must be a Hardened or Veteran level skull under the level when you go into the mission select screen. A glitch occurs that erases all of your story progress when you do things like buy the map packs for the game. If this has happened to you just go back and complete the levels on Hardened difficulty to get this trophy. the levels will seem almost too easy compared to Veteran so don't worry about it".

War Hero
Complete the game on any difficulty. (Solo only) (1)

Finish up to, and including, Downfall on any difficulty. Well done for finishing CoD:WaW.

Saved Private Ryan
Save the soldier before he burns to death. (1)

This trophy is unlocked in the first mission, Sempre Fi. After crossing the bridge or making your way around from the right, at the start of the mission (after the release), you will have to go up a platform/runway. Pvt. Ryan goes ahead first. As he goes past the door on the right a flaming Jap bursts out - at this point you should kill the Jap before Ryan dies.

Weapon of Mass Destruction
Radio in a naval bombardment that kills at least 4 Japanese soldiers.

Found on the second mission, Little Resistance. You acquire the use of an air strike, you can use this by pressing on the d-pad. Simply kill four enemies with one strike and trophy unlocked. The easiest part for this however, is at the very end, when you have to call in a strike on the two tanks. Instead of targeting the tanks, target the bunker below instead, this should get you the trophy as there are plenty of Japs in the bunker.

The Professional
Shoot all of Amsel's henchmen, including their attack dog, without reloading. (Solo only) (4)

At the start of the mission Vendetta, Reznov hands you his sniper rifle and tells you to take out the guards and their dog, but can you do it without reloading? The key is to shoot two sets of soldiers with one bullet, another two with two bullets, wait until the dog jumps you, then knife it and shoot the remaining soldier with your last bullet. A video for this troublesome trophy:

Gunslinger
Assassinate General Amsel with a pistol shot. (Solo only) (17)

The hardest trophy in my opinion, but it can be done. I'm not even gonna try to explain this one, so a video should suffice. To get a pistol first, after you take out Amsels men and Reznov brings you into the bar, make your way up the stairs and in the room where you face off against the sniper, you should see a desk with a pistol on it. Pick it up, waste all the ammo, then it should reload with 80 rounds in it, a nice glitch.

Lights Out!
In 'Black Cats', blast out all of the spot lights in the Japanese cargo convoy. (Solo only)

The eleventh mission, Black Cats, is where this trophy is found. At the start of this mission you have to intercept a Japanese shipping convoy. You should notice two large spotlights on either end of these three ships. Try shoot to them immediately with either bullets or rockets. You'll know you have broken them when they explode and go out. You get another chance to take them out when your plane glides over the ships, going from one end to another. A video of it should help, so here it is.

Rough Economy
Kill 3 enemies with a single round.

This can be gotten in any mission, as long as you're a good enough shot. The easiest mission to do it in, however, is Vendetta, right at the start. A video is included to help.

Another way to get it is in Nazi Zombies, simply line three zombies up and hope you kill three with one shot, use a PTRS-41 or magnum if you're unsure.

Guardian Angel
In the final battle for Okinawa, save Sergeant Roebuck.

This trophy is found in Breaking Point, the thirteenth mission. As you make your way out of the castle and into the courtyard, a cut scene triggers and you can't use your weapon. Sgt. Roebuck is the guy on the right making his way to the Japs that seem to be surrendering. The Japs are suicide bombers though, so when they scream and you get your gun back, shoot the two guys that attack Roebuck and *bing* trophy.

Close Shave
Survive a banzai attack. (Solo only)

This one is fairly simple, and can be found in any American mission. Banzai attackers are Japs that come running at you screaming...wait for it...Banzaiiiiiii (who knew). Allow one to push you down, as soon as you see the sign to get him off, hit and you stab him in the neck.

Snake in the Grass
Take out a Japanese soldier lying in wait in the grass.

Again, this trophy can be done in almost all American missions. A 'snake in the grass' is a Jap lying there waiting for you, but hidden in the grass, most likely a banzai. Simply throw a grenade into any tall grass you see, theres a chance there's a Jap lying in wait. An easy part to do this is on Little Resistance, the second mission. Right at the start, after you clear out the two MG nests with your air strikes you have to make your way down a little path; there will be a tree in among some tall grass, lob a grenade in the grass, and one or two should die. A video to help those unclear of it:

Grave Robber
Collect all Death Cards in the game. (Solo only) (1)

This description is annoying as you can get the death cards in co-op if you like. A video of all death cards in the game for help.

No Safe Place
Burn an enemy out of a tree with the flamethrower in 'Hard Landing'.

In the mission 'Hard Landing' (Who would have thought?) you get an M2 Flamethrower. As you get it you go through a field, in this field you should see 3 threes all beside each other, run to the nearest one and blast it with fire, a man should fall out scorched. Easy trophy. A video though, in case:

Throw a Six and a Half
On Hardened or Veteran difficulty, complete a level without dying. (Solo only) (3)

As the description suggests, you need to finish a mission on Hardened or Veteran without dying once. Hard... or so it sounds. *NOTE* - You can use grenades and your knife. If you play and finish the game on Veteran you will be more than ready to get this done. Simply start up Sempre Fi and try your hardest to not die, or any mission you are good at. Easy missions for this are Blood And Iron and Black Cats. Refer to Bearing the Burden for Veteran tips also.

Purple Heart
When staring into the face of adversity, show courage and persevere. (5)

On veteran, die 20 times, simply done by running into enemies and letting them kill you.

Firestarter
Complete a level using only the flamethrower. Melee, grenades & explosives are OK. (6)

As the description says, finish a mission using only a regulation M2 (flamethrower to me 'n you), grenades and melee. Can only be done on Burn Em Out, or if you want to risk it, try Hard Landing, but it takes a while to get the flamethrower.

Kamikaze
Complete a level on Regular difficulty or higher using only melee or grenades. (Solo only)

Sempre Fi on regular, pretty much run up to an enemy and knife them, or grenades, do not shoot a single bullet or else you lose this chance at the trophy.

Iron Fist
Destroy all towers and bunkers in 'Blood and Iron'.

*Credit goes to Eternal at Xbox360Achievements for this description.*

On 'Blood and Iron', there are bunkers and towers scattered around the level. This should be done on Recruit. Using your tank, clear out every enemy soldier and tank to make your task easier. Now search around the entire level for towers and bunkers to destroy. Note that water towers also count. You should slowly go through every single area on the mission to make sure you have not missed any. Here is a step by step guide on how to get the achievement:

Towers:
1. Red water tower just after you turn the first corner.
2. Red water tower directly behind the first water tower.
3. To the left of the far-left artillery gun.
4. To the right of the far-right artillery gun, in between the two bunkers.
5. Behind the right bunker.
6. To the far right, you will see it to the left of a tank sitting on the hill.
7. Before you turn right to destroy the Radio Tower you will see some Russian soldiers running across a field, look into the distance and you will see a red water tower.
8. To the left of the Radio Tower.
9. To the right of the Radio Tower.
10. Behind the left side of the big bunker.
11. To the east of the big bunker.
12. As you come over the hill you will see it to the left of the trenches with a tank in the middle.
13. To the right of the previously mentioned tank.
14. As the planes fly over they destroy this one but just check they do.
15. The furthest right you can go, north on your compass, next to some concrete blocks.
16. Follow the concrete blocks down to the left, you should see it as you drive into the train station.

Bunkers:
1. To the right of the far-right artillery gun.
2. To the right of Tower #4.
3. As you turn right in to the field with the Radio Tower look to the left a little bit, there is a bunker slightly hidden in the trees. You will see rockets fly at you from the bunker.
4. You can't miss it as you come up the hill. There are two parts to it, left and right, make sure you destroy both!

Thanks to Cookieboy for the guide on GameSpot:

Ruthless
Kill 15 enemies while mounted on a tank in 'Ring of Steel'. (1)

When you jump down from the building at the end of Ring of Steel, you are met with several tanks, hop onto the back of one of them and you get placed onto the turret. Shoot and kill 15 enemies, easier said than done, so put your sensitivity to LOW and it should be easier.

Mortar-dom
Kill 8 Japanese with thrown mortars in 'Breaking Point.

In the mission 'Breaking Point' you will come to a point where you have to use hand-held mortars, simply kill 8 enemies with them. A video for those unsure.

Shot in the Dark
Kill 10 enemies while the lights are out in the subway in 'Eviction'.

At the end of the mission Eviction, you have to make your way through an underground metro tunnel. At random intervals, I think, the lights malfunction and go off. At this point Sgt. Reznov tells you to watch out for Germans. While the lights are out try and shoot as many Germans as possible, even though you only need ten. A video yet again:

Sum of All Zeros
Down 45 Japanese Zeros in 'Black Cats'. (Solo only) (30)

For this trophy you have to shoot down 45 enemy zeros (the Jap planes). The planes literally only need to be hit once or twice for them to crash, you dont have to make them explode. A good tip is to turn your sensitivity to LOW. You dont need to save any survivors and take out any PT boats as quick as you can or when no zeros are flying around.

Blue Ribbon
Complete a 4-player Competitive Co-Op match in 1st place. (Online co-op Only) (23)

For this trophy you need to go into a 4-player COMPETITIVE match. You need to get the HIGHEST score in the match.

For co-op partners see this boosting thread:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/call-duty-world-war/2632-trophy-boosting-coop-partners.html

Get Your Left Foot Wet
Complete a match in Campaign Co-Op mode. (Online co-op only)

Simply play a campaign co-op session to completion, and this trophy pops up.

For a partner see this thread:

http://www.ps3trophies.org/forum/call-duty-world-war/2632-trophy-boosting-coop-partners.html

Get Your Right Foot Wet
Complete a match in Competitive Co-Op mode. (Online co-op only)

Same as above except play a competitive session.

Secret Trophies

DLC: Map Pack 2
Cost: 9.99 Trophies: 10

Hammer Time
Repair 200 window boards in a single game. (Map Pack 2 only)

This isn't that hard, though there isn't a counter for boards repaired in game. This is one of the trophies that is easier in multiplayer (Split-screen) mainly because Player 1 doesn't have to be the one who repairs the 200 boards. As long as you get a crawler every round and replace all the boards that have been destroyed, you should get it around round 10 or 12. An easy way to get more boards broken is by running to different rooms so the zombies can spawn through those windows.

It's a trap!
Kill at least one zombie with three different traps in a single round. (Map Pack 2 only) (1)

For this, I suggest doing it in the earlier rounds when not too many zombies are coming. I did this in round 8, but you will need money to open 3 of the other rooms. There is an electrical fence in each of the 4 outside areas (Doctor's Quarters, Storage, Comm. Room, and Fishing Hut) . You will need to kill at least one zombie with each fence. I suggest staying in one of the areas when the round starts and flip on the trap when the zombies start coming. Then run your way to another area and repeat step 1.

NOTE: The Flogger DOES NOT count as a trap. You must use the electrical fences in the outside areas.

Weapon of Minor Destruction
Kill no more than one zombie with a nuke. (Map Pack 2 only)

This one basically comes down to luck. If you get a Nuke power up and you feel like it's close to the end of the round, keep it as long as you can. Kill all the zombies left except one and then hit the nuke.

NOTE 1: You will know when the nuke is starting to go away when it starts flashing. When it starts flashing fast, it only has a second or two before it disappears.

NOTE 2: During the later round levels (starting after round 5), you will know when it's the last zombie because if it's walking, it will start running at you.

Perk-a-Holic
Have all four perks simultaneously active in a game of Nazi Zombies. (Map Pack 2 only)

For this, you will need quite a lot of points to buy everything needed. There are 2 doors for each outside area and then the perks. Below is a list of the points needed to buy everything. You need to have all 4 perks active in one game. You do not have to buy everything in one round, just as long as you have all 4 perks active at the same time, the trophy will pop. Check the glitches area of the Road Map to see some glitches that may help you with this trophy.

Door 1 - 1000
Door 2 - 750
Quick Revive - 1500
Jugger-nog - 2500
Double Tap Rootbeer - 2000
Speed Cola - 3000
TOTAL - 16000

Fertilizer Man
Kill 200 zombies in a single game. (Map Pack 2 only)

This is one of the trophies that is easier with 2 people (Split-Screen). Player 1 doesn't have to be the one who has to get 200 kills. Just one of the two players have to get 200 kills. A strategy you could use is someone who gets a LMG (Naming player 1) watches down below the stairs (Staircase that leads to zipline) and kills the zombies who come from all the other windows while someone with another gun (Naming player 2) watches the two windows upstairs so no zombies kill player 1. Check the glitches area of the Road Map to see some glitches that may help you with this trophy. Here is a map showing the strategy.

Deadhead
Get 150 zombie headshots in a single game. (Map Pack 2 only)

I'd suggest using the same method I put down for Fertilizer Man. Player 1 should aim a bit higher when killing the zombies to increase the chance for headshots. Also, if Player 1 goes to the top of the staircase and shoots down at the incoming zombies, they will get a better chance at headshots. You can keep count by pressing . Check the glitches area of the Road Map to see some glitches that may help you with this trophy.

Big Baller
Earn 75,000 points in a single Nazi Zombies game. (Map Pack 2 only) (11)

This is the longest and most annoying trophy to get in this DLC pack. You have to achieve an overall score of 75,000 points in a single game. I suggest using the same method I put down for Fertilizer Man because Player 1 will be racking up a very high score. Just have Player 1 going for headshots and getting as much points as they can for killing the zombies. The best LMG to have for points is the MG42, as it has less power than the browning and a faster fire rate. Check the glitches area of the Road Map to see some glitches that may help you with this trophy.

NOTE: Buying things will not lower your overall score. Your overall score will show when the game is over.

SOLO STRATEGY:

(Credit to oph5pr1n6 for video)

Big Brawler
Get 10 consecutive zombie melee kills before Insta-Kill expires. (Map Pack 2 only) (2)

This is another based on luck. If a zombie drops insta-kill, go and knife every one you see and keep count while doing so. A lot easier to do if you have Juggernaut. Makes the risk of getting downed lower.

Soul Survivor
Reach round 15 in Nazi Zombies without getting revived. (Map Pack 2 only) (2)

This trophy may be a lot easier in Solo, as there isn't as many zombies coming for you. A good strategy to use would be the alternate strategy for Big Baller. Check the glitches area of the Road Map to see some glitches that may help you with this trophy.

Secret Trophies
Dead Air
Must have been a wrong number. (3)
This one is very, very easy to achieve. All you have to do is activate the music easter egg. To do that, go to the Comm. Room and after entering the door to the Comm. Room building, go right and look left. You will see a phone with the receiver off the hook. Press on it every half a second and you will hear the ring on the phone spinning. Then you will hear a voice say 'I know when you're sleeping...', then the music will start and the trophy will pop.

This video shows it being done in Black Ops, but it's done the same way in World at War.

DLC: Map Pack 3
Cost: 9.99 Trophies: 10

Elevate Your Senses!
Activate the Fly Trap. (Map Pack 3 only)

For this you need to get any weapon, then go to the Pack-A-Punch machine, and upgrade it. Then when you do that, facing the Pack-A-Punch machine, turn right, go through the door then to the left and to the fence, then follow the video:

Locksmith!
Open all doors in the map. (Map Pack 3 only)

Well, what more can be said, but you need 9,250 to open all doors. There are 9 doors/blockages. From the right side, facing where the power is, you have a door/750, door/1,250, blockage/1,000. From the left side, you have a door/750, door/1,250, door/1,250, blockage/1,000. At the power you have another door going to the transporter at 1,250.

40 Knives!
Kill 40 zombies with the bowie knife. (Map Pack 3 only)

The bowie knife is located through the door, going to the furthest away transporter, at the power machine, as soon as you open it it's right in front of you on the wall. It costs 3,000 points to buy, and is a one hit kill to all zombies up to round 20 or so. Over as many rounds, in one game, as you like kill 40 zombies with it. Easy enough, considering.

Der Electrician!
Link all teleport pads before round 7. (Map Pack 3 only)

This one is pretty easy, save up around 5,000-6,000 points then open both doors at the starting courtyard. Starting on the left one round: As soon as you open the door, go straight until you hit the wall, and open the door on the right, then continue straight and turn left after the fence, and open the door straight on, there's the first teleporter. From the right: Open the first door, naturally, then open the next one and continue up the stairs, removing the blockage, then turn right, open the next door for 750 points, then the transporter is inside. From the wreckage after the right door: Turn left and drop off the platform that leads to the power, then walk straight past the power and open the door for 1,250, the transporter is huge, right in front of you.

Now remember, you can only activate one transporter, and you have 30 seconds to link it to the mainframe, so grab a partner from The Trophy Boosting Thread:Co-op Partners Thread, leave one of you in the courtyard while the other activates the transporters. Remember it costs 1,500 for each transporter, then once they are activated the player in the courtyard has to hold on the platform in front of the Pack-A-Punch Machine to link it.

Frequent Flyer!
Use the teleporter 8 times. (Map Pack 3 only)

Use any of the 3 teleporters a total of 8 times in one game, after you unlock them, obviously.

Perkaholics Anonymous!
Survive until round 20 without buying a single Perk. (Map Pack 3 only) (9)

As the trophy says, nothing more can be said really.

Wacker Packer!
Upgrade any weapon in Pack A Punch. (Map Pack 3 only) (2)

After following the guide to link all teleporters, grab any weapon, 5,000 points and throw it into the Pack-A-Punch machine, located right where you started. This upgrades your weapons accuracy, clip size, ammo size, camo and strength.

Acquire Waffle Weapons!
Obtain the Ray Gun, DG-2, and the Monkey Bomb at the same time in a game. (Map Pack 3 only) (6)

All three of these must be obtained from the mystery box. Both the Ray Gun and Wunderwaffe DG-2 are weapons, while the Monkey Bomb is a secondary grenade. If you're lucky you can get all three, hang on to them until you get the rest, and pop, trophy unlocked. This is probably the hardest trophy to get, it's based on pure luck.

Pack Addict!
Upgrade 5 weapons at the Pack A Punch Machine. (Map Pack 3 only) (6)

Follow Wacker Packer, just do it 5 times.

A list of all 25 weapons that are upgradeable:
