You unlock the trophy animals by completing Story Mode. For all of these Trophy Chase hunts, make the animal as big as you can, Monster and Albino. You'll know exactly which one to go after and have a big target. The mountain goat is already white, so make it a different color and you'll easily spot your target.

Big game animals are the deer, moose, goats, bears, etc. This is actually simple to pull off. When you're focusing on an animal and they're close enough, VITALS will be triggered, allowing you to view the weak spots (Lungs, Heart, Spine). Hit a vital organ and they'll be killed with one shot. If you do not get this in Story Mode, it can be done in Trophy Chase Mode.

The guide will want you to call an animal during the game. You will unlock Call Novice at that point. You can then either spam the calls until this unlocks or you can play through Story Mode and get the remaining calls in Trophy Chase Mode.

If you examine tracks, droppings and saplings whenever you come across them in Story Mode, you will get this by the end. It can only be done in Story Mode, so make sure you pay attention to the guide and the ground.

This is the hardest trophy in the game. It can only be done in Story Mode. When you reach a good fishing spot, press R2 to place a buoy. Move the boat away from that spot and try to cast as close as you can to the buoy. The guide will say something if it's a good cast. If you fail your objective, the good casts you got within that attempt no longer count.

This can be gotten in two simple ways:
1. Each time you fish, get a few good casts and complete your objective. The amount of time to complete your objective goes up as you progress in Story Mode, so try for 5 or more in the later challenges. If you spread them out instead of going for them all at once, you can make it add up to 20 with no problem.
2. If you want to attempt to get 20 in one challenge, there is a fishing challenge towards the end of the game that has a 10 minute timer. That is plenty of time to get all 20 if you have the technique down.

The trophy animals are your main targets for each section of Story Mode. When you retrieve your trophy in Story Mode or Trophy Chase Mode, you will see a percentage under Integrity. For 10 TROPHY animals, you must have 100%. You must use the recommended weapon for the animal or, the easiest way, use the Bow. If you do not have this trophy by the end of Story Mode, it can be done in Trophy Chase Mode. Just start a Caribou hunt and kill your target with the bow. Keep playing the same hunt until the trophy unlocks.

Explore and complete all the opportunity hunts
Unless you want to play Story Mode more than once, I recommend you explore every chance you get. For example, wander around or go the opposite way when the guide gives you an objective. There are 2 opportunity hunts in each location, although I can only recall one in Alaska. Keep track of how many you've done in each location and if the trophy does not unlock after one opportunity hunt in Alaska, keep looking for a second.

You can shoot your targets or squirrels and raccoons with the bow. If you don't get this in Story Mode, it can be done in Trophy Chase Mode.

You unlock weapons as you progress in Story Mode. It's best to just play through the Story and save this for Trophy Chase Mode if you haven't gotten it yet. Just cycle through your 12 weapons until it unlocks. You have to kill your target for the use of the weapon to count.

This means you have to kill any big game (deer, goats, moose, etc.) without the scope. Equip your weapon and press the left directional button. You will remove the scope and be free to get this trophy. Save this for when you clean up your remaining trophies and get it in Trophy Chase Mode. You can complete a Caribou hunt 10 times to get this.

You can get this in Story Mode or Trophy Chase Mode. Whenever you come across a raccoon or squirrel, don't aim with the scope. Shoot and kill the animal and continue to do this to others until you get the trophy.

This trophy will come while playing Story Mode. You will have this trophy after your second bird hunt in the first section of Kansas.

You get this in the first section of Story Mode. Just make sure you look around for opportunity hunts. Take a left when you have to examine Whitetail tracks in the second area in Kansas and you will reach the final Pheasant hunt.

You will miss this trophy if you do not go out of your way to complete opportunity hunts. If you are exploring as I recommended, this will not be an issue. It unlocks while you're in Idaho.

These trophies are unlocked after completing each section of Story Mode. Just listen to the guide and learn how to do everything throughout Story Mode and it's very easy.

You get trophy points for completing objectives in Story Mode. Examining animal marks also gives you trophy points. If you do just about everything through Kansas and Idaho, this will come by the middle of the game.

Awarded when all other trophies have been unlocked.
