Assassin's Creed 3 is one of the most highly anticipated sequels of the year. The latest title by Ubisoft features the new protagonist, Connor Kenway, a half-English and half-Native American. The game itself is set and based on the American Revolution, which took place from 1753 to 1783. Like the previous games in the series, you will also follow the journey of Desmond Miles in the present day, as he continues to relive the memories of his ancestors through the Animus.

There are various new features in this instalment, including hunting, naval warfare and crafting. Integral to the latter is Assassin's Creed III's answer to the Villa and town-building of the previous games; the Homestead. This substantial mechanic sees you start off with a derelict manor, but then by recruiting various professionals to your cause, it develops into a fully-fledged Homestead. These recruits in turn provide you with items relevant to their skill-set. Completing subsequent missions for each person grants you higher quality items to craft better weaponry and accessories, as well as more expensive luxuries which you can sell to shops around the map to gain cash.

The game is a largely straightforward Platinum, with a few tough mission objectives required for 100% sync. Bear in mind that there are two glitched trophies to look out for, and we strongly recommend that you do not work towards them until Step 3 (see below and the individual trophy descriptions for more details). Ubisoft released a large Thanksgiving Day Patch to fix these issues which worked for some, but many users have still reported problems.

RsMOr5l.png

Step 1 - Play through the main story and complete DNA sequences with 100% Sync.

The first step is to simply play through the main story in the game, completing all the DNA sequences with 100% Sync. You can revisit any of the missions within sequences at any time, but it is recommended that you try your best to achieve 100% in your first play-through, so you don't have to replay lots of missions at the end. All of the other trophies can be obtained after you've finished the main story as the game remains in a free roam state after finishing the final sequence and mission. Some miscellaneous trophies may come naturally during this first step, but it's recommended that you focus on these during Step 2.

One thing we would suggest is to keep an eye on the challenges for the four societies. Try to work towards as many of them as you can during your first run to save you time, rather than farming them at the end of the game. For a list of these, see the "In Good Standing" description in the trophy guide.

By the end of Step 1, you should have the following trophies:

- Rude Awakening
- Mystery Guest
- How D'ya Like Them Apples
- Heroes are Born
- Criss Cross ()
- The Day the Templars Cried
- Tea is for Englishmen
- The Whites of Their Eyes
- Caged Wolf
- Daddy Dearest ()
- Two if by Sea
- Grim Expectations
- The End is Nigh ()
- Difficult End
- The Sum Of Truth
- No Good Deed Goes Unpunished
- Perfectionist
- Fin (This should be your last trophy before moving onto the next step)

Step 2 - Clean up the remaining miscellaneous trophies in Free Roam.

The next step is to focus on obtaining the collectables and completing any necessary side quests/missions. This will reward you with the remaining miscellaneous single-player trophies for the game. Remember, you can use the DNA Tracker to revisit any sequences or missions where you feel you can attempt a particular trophy. To access this feature, press to open the pause menu, then go to the Animus DNA Tracker tab.

You probably won't get all of the combat trophies naturally, so you can either farm them as you go along, or complete them at the end of the game. Luckily, they can all be done quickly by reloading certain missions which provide handy scenarios for the trophies. Again, see the relevant descriptions for details on each of these trophies.

By the end of this step, you should have the following trophies:

- House Party
- A Complete Set
- Patent Not Pending
- Original Gamer
- Bring Down The House
- Kidd Gloves
- All Washed Up
- Entrepreneur, not Pirate!
- Tumblehome
- By Invitation Only
- In Good Standing
- Man of the People
- Monopoly Man
- Blowing in the Wind
- Spit Roast
- Circus Act
- Predator
- Prince of Thieves
- Whit's fur ye'll no go by ye!
- Jager Bomb
- Magna cum Laude
- Coureur des Bois
- Eye Witness
- Multitasking
- Completionist (This is likely to be your final trophy to complete Step 2)

Step 3 - "An Extraordinary Man" and "Head in the Cloud"

These are the two trophies that many have been having trouble with and are considered glitched. The earliest you can start scanning people on your Homestead for "An Extraordinary Man" is Sequence 6, and you can only find pivots in the world for "Head in the Cloud" after the Epilogue Missions.

We strongly recommend that you do not do anything towards these two trophies until you have every other single player trophy (listed in Steps 1 and 2 above). Then, back up your save file so that if you have problems with the trophies, you can either try again by reverting to your old save, or wait until further patches are released which fix the issue. Please see the descriptions of these trophies for details about the glitches and how to overcome them.

Just to clarify, when we state "don't do anything towards these trophies", you can still accept the Encyclopedia mission from Achilles, however we advise that you do not begin scanning any of the workers/residents prior to this step.

By the end of this step you should have the following trophies and every single-player trophy:

- An Extraordinary Man
- Head in the Cloud ()

Step 4 - Online Multiplayer

The final step of the walkthough is online multiplayer. It has been confirmed that you don't need to redeem an online pass to access the multiplayer features of this game.

As you play through the multiplayer, you need to be mindful of the specific requirements for each of the trophies, whilst focusing on ranking up to Level 20 for the "Abstergo Entertainment" trophy. There are a total of 5 online trophies to be earned in this title.

If you wish to find a boosting partner for the multiplayer trophies, please click here to visit the dedicated boosting thread for this game.

You should receive the following trophies from this final step:

- Personalized
- Hunter/Killer
- Winning Team
- The Truth Will Out
- Abstergo Entertainment
- Master Assassin

Battle Hardened Pack DLC
Overview:
  • Estimated 100% difficulty: 2/10 (Wolfpack skill dependant)
  • Offline trophies: 3 (3trophy_silver.png)
  • Online trophies: 1 (
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 1 hour (if boosting), 2 hours (without)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 Wolfpack, 1 Manhunt (+1 more of any match type for A New Challenger Appears)
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: 0
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies: No cheats available
Introduction:

The Battle Hardened Pack is the first piece of DLC available for Assassin’s Creed III. It can be bought off the Playstation Store for £7.99/$9.99 or downloaded for free if you have the Season Pass (£23.99/$29.99). The DLC gives you access to three new characters (the Governor, Highlander and Coyote Man) and three new maps (Saint Pierre, Fort St-Mathieu and Charlestown).

The four trophies available in this pack are the four silver trophies that were part of the trophy list initially released with the game. All four trophies can be easily boosted in Private matches. You will need a group of 4 boosters, as One for All is unobtainable for one player if you only have 3. If you wish to find a boosting partner, please post in the Boosting Thread here.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 - "A New Challenger Appears" and "Wolves for Lambs":

These two trophies can be earned solo in Wolfpack mode (choose "Wolfpack (Invite Only) - Standard - Extra Content Maps” in the Wolfpack Menu). You must complete a Wolfpack game on one of the 3 new maps by reaching and finishing Sequence 25. If you do this on your first or second try, start a new Wolfpack game with the other additional characters you haven’t yet used and let the time run out, which will count as finishing a multiplayer session with an additional character. This step will earn both these trophies:
A New Challenger Appears
Wolves for Lambs
Step 2 - "One for All" and "Stubborn Stunner":

These two trophies can be earned in either Public or Private matches in team-based games such as Manhunt. If you wish to boost the trophies, you will need 4 people, which can be arranged in the Official Boosting Thread here. Then, in the first 5-minute round, have the players on the attacking team earn the One for All trophy, and the defending team earn Stubborn Stunner, and earn the opposite trophy in the second 5-minute round. This step will earn you the last two trophies:
One for All
Stubborn Stunner

Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy DLC

  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1

Introduction:
The second Assassin's Creed III DLC pack comes in the form of The Infamy, the first episode of the Tyranny of King Washington trilogy. This single-player add-on is set in an alternative history where Connor is still living in his native village under his birth name "Ratonhnhaké:ton". He awakens from a dream to find that George Washington has claimed an Apple of Eden and has begun a reign of terror under its corruption. Ratonhnhaké:ton again sets out from his village to seek answers and to put an end to this new tyranny.

The trophies for this DLC pack are incredibly easy. There are 6 missions included in the main story, which require bonus objectives be completed for 100% sync. However, unlike the main game, these are never challenging and often the game guides your hand towards accomplishing them anyway. The DLC also adds 3 types of radiant citizen side-missions that are very short and easy to accomplish. Finally, this portion of the DLC grants you two new abilities: "Wolf Cloak": Which grants you invisibility at the cost of a rapidly-decreasing health bar and "Call Wolf Pack": Which is exactly the same as calling assassins in the main game, except wolves come to your aid. The former acts as equipment so can be equipped to your quick select menu as such, whilst the latter is assigned to the button just like the assassins in the main game.

Note on the Season Pass: If you already bought the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass for the Battle Hardened Pack or you have bought it in anticipation of this DLC, please be aware that you must access the additional content from the in-game menu. If you go straight to the Playstation Store from the XMB you will only get the option to purchase the DLC for its full price, even if you have downloaded the Season Pass previously. To redeem the DLC with your Season Pass, boot up Assassin's Creed III and at the main menu go to "Extras" and then "Additional Content". From here select "The Infamy" from the list and it will not charge you.

Note on accessing DLC: Once you have downloaded and installed the DLC, you can access it from the main menu by selecting "The Tyranny of King Washington". The DLC is a completely separate entity from the main game, so you can start it even if you haven't begun the main game (although I would advise not to due to numerous spoilers). With that in mind, none of your accumulated weapons, equipment and items will be transferred over. There is no currency in this DLC so you will not need to worry about that. Finally, the version of the Frontier in this DLC is slightly different and about half the size of the main game. For the Frontiersman trophy getting 100% sync in the Frontier refers only to the missions and events in this DLC, not your progress in the main game.

Walkthrough:
Step 1 - Complete the main story with 100% sync

There are six main story missions included in The Infamy:
  • Awaken
  • Warn The Village
  • Sky World Journey
  • One-Man Wolf Pack
  • Path Of Revenge
  • Justice Served
All the missions are fairly short and each mission except "Warn The Village" contains bonus objectives which you need to fulfil for 100% sync. They are all simple to accomplish, but if you need help see the 100% sync guide below to see how to complete the bonus objectives. Note that if you fail an objective, pause the game with and select "Reload from Checkpoint" on the menu (not "Restart Memory") to be reset to the point just before the objective, giving you another try.

By completing all six missions, you will earn the two story-related trophies. Uniquely Familiar will unlock halfway through "Warn The Village", whilst West Point Payback will unlock at the end of "Justice Served" upon completion of the story.

One thing I would strongly advise during this step is to run everywhere in the Frontier rather than fast-travel to the mission objective. On your travels, you are highly likely to run into the three different types of random events required for Frontiersman. These take less than a minute to beat, so do as many as you can now to avoid excessive grinding during Step 2. Finally, once you complete Mission 3: "Sky World Journey", you will have access to your Wolf Cloak ability. When you are travelling between missions and come across a group of guards, activate it and kill as many guards as you can with your hidden blade. You should easily have killed 25 before you even finish the story. See the A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing trophy description for more details.

By the end of this step, you will definitely have achieved the following two trophies:
Uniquely Familiar
West Point Payback

Step 2 : Clean Up and "Frontiersman"

Once you have completed the story, it’s time to finish up the side-missions for 100% in the Frontier. There are four parts to this:
  • 5 Attack Convoy missions
  • 5 Help the Hungry missions
  • 5 Wolf Rescue missions
  • Collect 3 Memory Artifacts
If you followed my advice in Step 1 you should have done most of these already. If you are missing any, I would suggest travelling between the 3 towns in the middle of the Frontier Map (one on the western edge, one right in the middle and one on the eastern edge) either on foot or by horse, as these missions pop up frequently along the way. If you haven’t killed 25 enemies with the Wolf Cloak yet, the "Attack Convoy" missions are a perfect opportunity to achieve a bunch of these. Finally, you need to collect the 3 Memory Artifacts. These are marked clearly on your map and are miscellaneous objects in plain sight.

If you need advice on how to complete these side-missions, please see my 100% sync guide. At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies and your 100%:
A Wolf In Sheep's Clothing
Frontiersman

The Tyranny of King Washington: The Betrayal DLC
Roadmap

Overview:
  • Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 3/10
  • Offline trophies: 3 (3)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 0 (Mission replay/free-roam available)
  • Glitched trophies: 0
  • Does difficulty affect any trophies: No difficulty settings available

Introduction:

The second episode of The Tyranny of King Washington is here! Titled The Betrayal, this next portion of single-player DLC takes Connor to Boston as he continues his hunt for King Washington to put an end to the reign of terror that has claimed the lives of many that Connor holds dear. This DLC is included either as a standalone purchase or as part of the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass. Note that you must have completed the story of Episode 1: The Infamy (you can find the Trophy/100% Sync Guide here: Assassin's Creed III - Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy Trophy Guide & Roadmap) before you can initiate Episode 2: The Betrayal.

There are only 3 trophies for this DLC. One is story-related and cannot be missed, whilst another requires you to travel a certain distance using the new "Eagle Flight" power (the requirement of which is very small, rendering this trophy also practically unmissable). The final trophy for 100% Sync will require a little more effort but should cause no trouble for experienced Assassin’s Creed players.

Note on the Season Pass: If you have already bought the Assassin's Creed III Season Pass, I would strongly advise you to access the additional content from the in-game menu. Many users (including myself) encountered a bug with the first episode of this DLC, whereby purchasing straight from the Playstation Store via XMB only gave the option to purchase the DLC for its full price even though the Season Pass was downloaded previously. To redeem the DLC with your Season Pass, boot up Assassin’s Creed III and at the main menu go to Extras and then Additional Content. From here, select The Betrayal from the list, and it will not charge you additionally.

Note on accessing DLC: Once you have downloaded and installed the DLC, you can access it from the main menu by selecting The Tyranny of King Washington. The DLC is a completely separate entity from the main game so you can start it even if you haven't begun the main game (although I would advise not to due to numerous spoilers). With that in mind, none of your accumulated weapons, equipment and items will be transferred over. There is no currency in this DLC so you will not need to worry about that. You will, however, have to have completed Episode 1: The Infamy before you can initiate this episode. If you have installed Episode 2 and have not installed Episode 1, you will be told to do so upon trying to initiate the DLC.
Walkthrough:

Step 1 - Complete the main story with 100% sync

There are 9 missions to complete in Episode 2: The Betrayal:
  • Prison Break
  • Sky World Journey
  • Dive Bomb
  • Consequences
  • Return To Sender
  • Man Of Mettle
  • Pieces In Motion
  • Aquila Unchained
  • Escape To New York
All of these missions except "Consequences" have bonus objectives which need completing for 100% Sync. These bonus objectives are notably tougher than they were in the first episode so if you need to, please refer to Darth Mader's 100% Sync Guide to help you out. I recommend getting 100% Sync in each missions as you go along, choosing the "Reload Checkpoint" option from the Pause Menu if you fail an objective. This will reset you to the point immediately where the bonus objective starts, thus giving you infinite retries and saving you from having to replay whole missions later.

Whilst travelling around Boston between missions, feel free to complete any of the side-missions you come across. However, unlike the previous episode, these always appear in specific places on the map, so you don't have to worry about them until Step 2. It is almost guaranteed that you will have travelled 1 km with Eagle Flight during the story (particularly if you are going for 100% Sync, where it must be used for some bonus objectives) so by the end of this step you will have the following trophies:
Frequent Flyer
Blindsided

Step 2 - Clean-up for 100%

Once the story is completed, you will still have some side-missions to complete and 3 Memory Artefacts to collect. These missions are exactly the same as the ones encountered in the first episode (only with one new addition), though the number of times each mission must be completed is slightly different. See the trophy description for further details and a guide for each side-mission.

At the end of this step, you will have unlocked the following trophy and achieved 100% for this portion of DLC:
The New Tea Party

The Tyranny of King Washington: The Redemption DLC
Overview:

  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 0 (Mission replay/free-roam available)
  • Glitched trophies: 0
  • Does difficulty affect any trophies: No difficulty settings available
Introduction:
The third and final episode of The Tyranny of King Washington has arrived! The Redemption sees the conclusion to this alternate timeline, where Connor has tracked King Washington to New York and launches a final attempt to bring the dictator to justice before his full tyrannical schemes can come to fruition. This DLC is included either as a standalone purchase or as part of the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass. Note that you must have completed the story of Episode 1: The Infamy (you can find the Trophy Guide here: Assassin's Creed III - Tyranny of King Washington: The Infamy Trophy Guide & Roadmap) and Episode 2: The Betrayal (you can find the Trophy Guide here: Assassin's Creed III - Tyranny of King Washington: The Betrayal Trophy Guide & Roadmap) before you can initiate Episode 3: The Redemption.

Note on Season Pass: If you already bought the Assassin’s Creed III Season Pass, I would strongly advise you to access the additional content from the in-game menu. Many users (including myself) encountered a bug with the first episode of this DLC, whereby purchasing straight from the Playstation Store via XMB only gave the option to purchase the DLC for its full price, even though the Season Pass was downloaded previously. To redeem the DLC with your Season Pass, boot up Assassin’s Creed III and at the main menu go to Extras and then Additional Content. You will, however, have to have completed Episode 1: The Infamy and Episode 2: The Betrayal before you can initiate this episode.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 - Complete the main story with 100% sync

There are 8 Main Missions to complete in Episode 3: The Redemption:
  • Dark Waters
  • Sky World Journey
  • The Parting Of The Blue Sea
  • Feeding The Masses
  • One Step At A Time
  • The Signal
  • Halls Of Injustice
  • Inevitable Confrontation
All of these missions except “One Step At A Time” and “Inevitable Confrontation” have bonus objectives which need completing for 100% Sync. These bonus objectives should cause you little worry, but if you need any tips please refer to the 100% Sync Guide below to help you out. I recommend getting 100% Sync in each Mission as you go along, choosing the “Reload Checkpoint” option from the Pause Menu if you fail an objective. This will reset you to the point immediately where the bonus objective starts, giving you infinite retries and saving you from having to replay whole missions later.

Whilst travelling around New York between missions, feel free to travel on foot and complete any of the side-missions you come across rather than fast-travelling. This will save you from having to grind them out post-game. It is almost guaranteed that you will have defeated 125 enemies with “Bear Might” during the story (particularly if you are going for 100% Sync, where it must be used for some bonus objectives), so by the end of this step you will have the following trophies:
First in the Hearts
Aftershock

Step 2 - Clean-up for 100%

Once the story is completed, you will likely still have some side-missions to complete and 3 Lucid Memory Artefacts to collect. These missions are practically the same as the ones encountered in the previous episodes, although the number of times each mission must be completed is slightly different. See the trophy description for further details and the 100% Sync Guide for tips for each side-mission.

At the end of this step, you will have unlocked the following trophy and achieved 100% for this final portion of DLC:

    • Laid to Rest

For this trophy, you will need to achieve 100% sync in every main mission in the game. This trophy is solely for the 12 main DNA sequences, which includes all the missions listed in the spoiler tags above. No side-missions are required for this trophy. 100% sync means not just completing the mission, but achieving all optional objectives which pop up on-screen at different stages of the mission. To further complicate matters, all extra objectives must be done in one playthrough of that mission.

Do not worry if you miss one though, as every mission is replayable. Furthermore, the checkpoint system in this game is very friendly in this regard. If you see the red notification that you have failed an objective, pause the game and select "Reload Checkpoint" (not "Restart Memory") and you will be able to re-attempt the objective(s) until you complete them all.

There are only a couple of missions that are likely to cause a bit of trouble, particularly the chase scenes where you are not allowed to shove anyone in your path. Thankfully, these have been made easier with a patch which reduces the number of NPC's in your way.

Once you've have achieved 100% for all the sequences and missions, the trophy will pop.
  • Complete the Encyclopedia of the Common Man.

First you must complete all of the Homestead missions in order to recruit every available worker for your Homestead. To complete this trophy, you will need to reach at least Sequence 6, where Achilles gives you a quest to “scan” the workers whilst they perform three various activities related to their profession. Simply target them with for a couple of seconds and the entry for that particular activity should be added to the Encyclopedia. Below is a complete list of Homestead residents, designated by their jobs and in-game icon initials, and the tasks you need to record each one doing.

Glitch Warning - Many users have reported glitches/bugs with some workers registering as 3/3 completed, but the logbook hasn't updated and thus no trophy. Luckily, most of the workers have more than 3 activities to be scanned for, so try leaving the area and scanning the other activities.

See here for more details on the glitch.

    Blacksmith (Da):
    • Sharpening an axe on a grindstone
    • Fitting horseshoes
    • Using the furnace
    • Repairing a wagon wheel
    Doctor (Ly):

    • Reading on a tree stump
    • Playing bowls with one of the lumberers
    Farmers (Pr & Wa):

    • Milking a cow
    • Cutting wheat
    • Pouring grain
    Huntress (My):

    Innkeepers (Ol & Co):

    • Lighting a lamp at the mine entrance
    • Mining with a pickaxe inside the mine
    • Panning for gold in the river
    Tailor (El):
    • Examining a chair
    • Washing clothes
    • Taking a dress measurement
    • Sewing in a chair
    Woodworker (La):
    • Checking the fence
    • Sanding a plank of wood
    • Sanding a chair
    • Writing in the logbook while doing an audit
You can always check in the logbook to see which activities you have already scanned. If you are missing any by the end of the game, visit a city or ride around the frontier on your horse for a few minutes and return to the Homestead to see if the residents you need are performing any other activities.
  • Craft one of Franklin's inventions to decorate your Manor.

There are two stages to this trophy. Firstly, you need to unlock a recipe for an invention by collecting all 4 pages of one Almanac volume. There are 36 pages in total, 20 in Boston and 16 in New York. To collect a page, you will need to chase after it by free-running when it blows away.

Secondly, you must have the supplies and the appropriate artisan to craft the recipe. Artisans can be recruited via the Homestead missions. This trophy is much easier when the Homestead residents are levelled up (by completing various side-missions for them) and have access to better materials.

Finally, go to either the Accounting Logbook in the Manor or any book in a General Store and craft the item. It will automatically be added to your Manor and the trophy will unlock.
  • Recruit any of the Artisans and see them settled on the Homestead.

Before you can attempt to earn this trophy, you first have to complete the mission "River Rescue" in DNA Sequence 5. Once you reach this part of the story, you will have access to "Homestead Missions" which involve influencing and recruiting settlers in the area. You can identify them by an icon on the map titled "Homestead Mission".

One of first missions will involve helping a woodworker called Lance who is in danger. In order to complete this side mission, you must simply kill the people who are harassing him up on cliff overlooking the Manor. Upon saving him and completing the side mission, the artisan will now join your Homestead, and be at your disposal to craft woodwork items. The trophy will pop shortly after completing the side mission.
  • See all the optional characters settled at the Homestead.

For this trophy you need to have the following characters settled on your Homestead. Their job title and where they can be initially recruited are also noted below.
    • Blacksmith (Dave - Frontier)
    • Doctor (Lyle - Boston, during the farmers' third side-mission)
    • Farmers (Warren & Prudence - Frontier)
    • Huntress (Myriam - Homestead)
    • Inn-keepers (Oliver & Corrine - Homestead)
    • Lumberers (Godfrey & Terry - Homestead/story-related)
    • Miner (Norris - Boston)
    • Tailor (Ellen - New York)
    • Woodworker (Lance - Homestead)
    • Priest (Father Thomas - Homestead)
You are only required to complete each characters initial mission denoted by the “Homestead Mission” icon on the map. You do not need to finish each of the characters individual side quests for this trophy.

Note - Please see "Completionist" for an in-depth guide of all the Homestead Missions (required for 100% Sync)

  • Win a game of Fanorona, Morris and Bowls on the Homestead.

For this trophy, you must win each of the three games mentioned above. Please note that winning Fanorona and Morris on the ship in Sequence 1 and then winning Bowls on the Homestead will not count.

All three games must be won on the Homestead. You must initiate and win each of the three games outside of a mission for it to count towards the trophy.

Also please be aware that winning Bowls at the harbour will not count towards this trophy. You must win a game of Bowls at the main Homestead.

Note - You will need to complete the Level 3 mission for the lumberers before you can play Bowls, as this particular mission is basically an introduction to the game.

Remember that winning a game of Bowls within this mission will not count towards the trophy. You must initiate another game outside of the mission for it to count.

Here is a summary of the rules and aim of each of the games.

    Fanorona
    • 9 row by 5 column board game. Each player places 22 black or white pieces on the board.
    • The aim of the game is try to capture the opponent's pieces by moving his own pieces either toward or away from them.
    • When a piece is taken, all consecutive opponent's pieces standing behind that piece, will also be taken/captured.
    • One piece cannot move to the same slot two times in one turn.
If you are having difficulty beating your opponent at Fanorona, please refer to the link below.Morris
    • Each player has 9 stones. Players take it in turns to places stones.
    • Obtaining three stones in a row gives the player the right to remove an opponent's stone.
    • The aim of the game is to leave the opponent with less than 3 pieces or block all of his moves.
    • Mill - When 3 of your stones are placed in a straight line. Allows player to take an opponent's piece, which isn't part of the mill.
    • When a player is left with only 3 pieces, he can move them to any empty slot on the board.
For more tips and help with this game, please refer to the free online java program which can be used to help you win the game. In order to beat your opponent every time in Nine Men's Morris, you will need to perform the following steps:

Step 1 - Load up the java program on your PC and set the difficulty to VII.
Step 2 - Start a new game of Morris on the PS3 and make the NPC/AI player make the first move.
Step 3 - Then simply replicate the moves made on the PC into game you are playing on the PS3.

    Bowls
    • To begin, a player will throw a red glowing ball.
    • The aim of the game is to land the other balls as close as possible to the red glowing ball.
    • Players will take turns to throw their balls. The closer to the red ball, the more points you will receive.
    • If one player doesn't manage to land the ball closer than their opponent, then they will be granted another turn.
    • Each player has a total of 4 normal balls to throw.
    • The game will end when one player reaches 5 points in total.
The key to getting this trophy is practice and learning your opponent’s moves. As every game plays differently, there is no step-by-step guide. However if you make use of the java programs stated above and/or take a look at the video below, you shouldn't have any problems obtaining this trophy.

  • Explore Fort Wolcott.

Fort Wolcott is an off-map area in the game, as you won't explore the area during the the main story.

In order to gain access to the fort, you first must complete the initial mission aboard the Aquila ("The Hard Way"). This is the last mission in Sequence 5, so it will actually be during Sequence 6 when you can first attempt this trophy. In addition you must have collected at least one Peg Leg Trinket (which is marked by a goblet icon on the map) and returned it to Peg Leg, who is sat in a chair in front of the pier in the Homestead (where the anchor icon is). Once you have spoken to Peg Leg and he has revealed Fort Wolcott as a location, you can use your ship to reach Fort Wolcott by selecting it from the location map when you speak to any Harbourmaster. The trophy will pop upon completing the mission in the fort.

  • Uncover the mystery of Oak Island.

This trophy is similar to "Bring Down the House", except that you must find all of the 24 Peg Leg Trinkets and have completed the four previous missions associated with this side-quest. This can only be achieved after Sequence 8, as there are Trinkets to be found in New York.

Once you have returned all Trinkets to Peg Leg at the Homestead and completed all 4 previous missions, you will have access to an area known as Oak Island. You must complete the main objectives in the mission and find Captain Kidd's Treasure to earn the trophy.

  • Complete all Naval Missions aboard the Aquila.

Once you have completed the main story mission aboard the Aquila in Sequence 5, you will unlock Naval Missions. There are 4 of these to complete ("The Chase", "The Rescue", "French Involvement" and "Biddle's Hideout") and they must be done in sequence, although they can be replayed later if you fail to get 100% sync. To initiate them you will need to talk to any Harbourmaster, labelled by the anchor symbol on the map.

The basic premise of these missions is to destroy the enemy ships, before they sink you.

Please see below a list of the fundamental controls you need to be aware of when sailing the ship:

    Steers the rudder.
    Camera.
Increase speed but decrease manoeuvrability by opening sails.
Decrease speed but increase manoeuvrability by taking down sails.
Brace to reduce damage from incoming fire and tidal waves.
Fire deck-mounted swivel guns. Hold down the button until the target goes red, then release.
Fire a broadside cannon volley. Hold down until ships pass along the side of your boat, then fire.
    Select primary cannon ammo type.

  • Complete all 12 Privateer Contracts.

These missions, like the Naval Missions, can be found by going to the Harbourmaster (shown by the anchor map icon). They are shorter than the Naval Missions, and have the purpose of eliminating piracy on your trade routes to reduce the risk of sending convoys to the main cities.
  • Upgrade the Aquila.

Upon unlocking the Naval Missions in Sequence 5 after you first use the Aquila, go to a Harbourmaster and look at the book to the left of him. The book lets you purchase upgrades. The majority are quite expensive, but by Sequence 5 you should have enough money to purchase the “Extra Cannon”, which costs £2500.

Please refer to the video below for assistance on how to earn this trophy.

Note - Upgrading the Aquila also counts towards the 100% Data Sync. Therefore you must fully upgrade the vessel by purchasing all available upgrades. See below for a full list of upgrades.

All Aquila Upgrades (Total = £104,500)
    • Wooden Hull Reinforcement - £13,000
    • Iron Hull Reinforcement - £25,000
    • Extra Cannon - £2,500
    • Heat Shot - £19,000
    • Grapeshot - £17,000
    • Improved Rudder - £11,000
    • Piercing Round - £9,000
    • Naval Ram - £8,000
  • Be invited to join a Club.

To unlock this trophy, you need to be invited to join one of the four clubs in the game. To obtain an invite, you need to perform an activity related to that club:
    • Boston Brawlers - Defeat one enemy with your fists.
    • Frontiersmen - Find a trading post in the Frontier.
    • Hunting Society - Kill and skin one animal.
    • Thieves - Pickpocket £100.
This trophy is practically unmissable and you should get it at the start of Sequence 5, when you first encounter a cougar in the Frontier. This is a scripted event that requires a simple QTE to kill it. Skin it, and you will receive an invitation to the join the Hunting Society.
  • Complete all challenges for any of the Clubs.

This trophy is likely to be time-consuming. There are 4 Clubs in the game: Boston Brawlers, Frontiersmen, Hunting Soceity and the Thieves. You must finish all levels of challenges and complete the side-missions associated with one particular Club. To check which challenges are available and those you have completed, access the “DNA Progress Tracker” and look them up under the individual Club DNA strand. All Clubs must be completed 100% for the "Completionist" trophy anyway, so you will get this trophy on the way to achieving that.

Note - There are no side-missions for the Thieves Club.

Note - It seems that if you talk to Washington before unlocking the second tier of Frontiersmen challenges, then the game will bug on you. However, there is a fix, which is to reload Sequence 9 Memory 1 ("Missing Supplies") and talk to Washington twice there.

Thanks to Zanish09 for bringing this bug to our attention, and to jamesdevil for providing the fix.

For more information on this issue, see the original thread here:

Beware completionists: Washington glitch (stuck at 99%)

  • Liberate all districts in Boston OR New York.

This trophy has a number of steps to it. Firstly, you need to liberate all 3 Districts in either New York or Boston. This is done by first completing 6 quests in all areas of Boston and West New York, and 9 in North and East New York. These quests are in sets of 3, and usually involve menial tasks and killing guards.

Once all 6 missions are completed, visit the Liberation Contact in the area and he will provide you with a short mission which involves you killing a Templar using a new Assassin ability. Once you do this, the District will be liberated and the contact will join you as an Assassin.

Then, once all 3 Districts are liberated, you unlock the final Liberation Mission for the whole city, which involves assassinating a target in a restricted area. Once the job is done, you will earn this trophy and prices in shops across the area will be considerably cheaper.
  • Send a convoy to Boston, New York and the Frontier.

Sending convoys to different areas and trading is one of the games key money-making mechanics. For this trophy, you must first reach New York in Sequence 8, and then unlock at least one General Store in New York, Boston and the Frontier before anything else. Then, go to the Accounting Book at the Homestead and open the trading menu. Choose to send a convoy to a store in each area (remember to press to choose different areas) and place an apple in each convoy.

Note - The convoys don’t actually have to reach the cities for the trophy to unlock, as it will do so as soon as you press to confirm the convoy.
  • Retrieve every page for one of Ben Franklin's Almanacs.

This trophy requires you to only complete one chapter of Franklin’s Almanacs. This means that you only need to find the 4 pages in one District of either New York or Boston.

To retrieve a page, you need to do a small bit of free-running to catch up to a page, as they blow away once you approach. If you synchronise at the viewpoints, the map icons showing the Almanac pages will appear on the mini-map. To make this even easier, purchase a map of any District at a General Store and collect all the Almanac Pages in that area.

Note - Please see "Completionist" below for locations of all the Almanac pages (required for 100% sync)
  • Complete ALL progress tracker grid entries.

This is by far the most time-consuming trophy and probably the last one you will unlock before the Platinum. Aside from needing 100% sync on every main story mission, you will need 100% sync on EVERY side mission and obtain every collectable.

Note - In order to achieve 100% sync, you must complete all of the main and optional objectives for any given sequence or mission.

To check your progress, press and go to the Animus DNA Tracker tab. At the top you will see your current sync score out of 17070. Evidently, you will need 17070/17070 for this trophy. The following list details everything you need to 100% for this trophy:

    Missions
    • Main Story Missions (Sequences 1-12)
    • Epilogue Missions (3)
    • Homestead Missions (Encyclopedia of the Common Man not required)
    • Naval Missions (4)
    • Privateer Contracts (12)
    • Courier Missions (3, one in each city)
    • Liberation Missions (3 tasks in each District, then short Assassination mission for each contact)
    • Peg Leg Missions (collect 24 trinkets, plus 5 missions)
    • Templar Fort Liberation Missions (7)
    • Assassination Contracts (3, one in each city and Frontier)

  • Complete 50% of the Progress Tracker entries.

    See "Completionist".

You'll need to reach 8535/17070 (50%) sync score to unlock this trophy.
  • Perform a double assassination using a musket.

This trophy is very simple. All you need to do is find a musket, equip the weapon and ensure it is loaded. Then approach a group of two of more guards from behind, and make sure one is in front of the other, not side by side. Pick your moment to assassinate the one at the back with the button. An animation should play which shows the guard at the back getting stabbed and the one in front of him getting shot at the same time.

Thanks to sum1_worsethan_u for confirming that you only have to press the button once. See the video walkthrough below.

  • Kill 15 guards with a single cannon shot.

This one can be done in Sequence 10, in the mission "Battle of Monmouth" It is relatively straightforward, and shouldn't cause you any problems. Just make sure that you let the enemy platoons build up and congregate before firing the cannon. If for any reason you don't kill the required amount of soldiers on your first attempt, simply restart the checkpoint and have another go.

Here is short clip of how to earn the trophy.

  • Hang 5 enemies by using rope darts.

In order to earn this trophy, you must purchase rope darts from any one of the general stores in the game. Next you need to climb up to high area such as a beam up on a roof. Once there, equip a rope dart and press to throw it whilst aiming downward with the analog stick at your enemy.

Note - There will a short pause between hanging an enemy and them being killed by it, so just wait until they die before moving on to another area. This trophy can be done at any time during a mission or in Free Roam.

Here is clip showing the best method and location to obtain this trophy.

It has been confirmed that hanging civilians will also count towards this trophy. Thanks to Harry94 for the tip.

  • Loot a convoy without killing any of its guards.

This trophy can be unlocked in Sequence 6 or later.

A convoy is a moving carriage that is guided by horses, and guarded by soldiers. Convoys will appear randomly at any time during the game, but they can only be found in the Frontier region. Once you find a carriage, you must attack and loot the convoy without killing anyone. Therefore you can only use your fists to knock out the guards. It is recommended that you lure the guards out into the open and away from any obstacles, to prevent your character from performing any lethal attacks or combinations. Also, you can afford to take a hit sometimes and wait for the right moment, rather than just countering their attack each time.

Once the area is clear from guards, you must head on over to the back of the carriage/convoy and loot the goods. Here is a video on how to earn this trophy.

"One of these convoys has a 50% spawn chance in front of the Templar Fort that is located in the south-western corner of the map. There is a harbor nearby that can be used as a fast travel station. If the convoy doesn't spawn you can travel to another map and return later."
Thanks to PowerPyx for the tip.
  • Block a firing line 5 times by using a human shield.

This trophy can be obtained at the end of Sequence 2 (Memory 5) where you will be required to complete a tutorial for the move. You will notice when enemies take up the "firing line" formation as they will all stand together in a line, and yellow indicators will appear above them. You can grab a nearby enemy by pressing to defend yourself from this form of attack. To make things easier, it is recommended that you restart this particular checkpoint after successfully performing the move. Alternatively, you can replay this mission at any time by selecting the DNA Tracker on the pause menu.

  • After becoming fully Notorious, kill 10 Jagers before losing your notoriety.

You will be able to distinguish a "Jager" from a normal solider, as they are usually wearing flat black hats with a feather in the center, carrying a pistol and sword. You will find that they are much more skilled and tougher than the regular soldiers in the game. They will repel virtually all of your attacks. The only sure-fire way of defeating them is to equip your fists and counter their attacks with quickly followed by to break their defence/disarm, before finishing them off with whilst holding their weapon.

One of the requirements for this trophy is to become fully notorious before engaging them. One of the easiest places to get this trophy is in DNA Sequence 5 - Memory 2 ("A Trip To Boston"). During one of the missions, you will become fully notorious after climbing up on a roof and watching the cut-scene. You must kill 10 of these soldiers whilst still maintaining the full level of notoriety.

Here is a video on how to achieve this trophy.

  • Have a Trainee reach the Assassin Rank.

The first thing that you need to do for this trophy is to recruit a Trainee. See "Man of the People" for more details on how to do that.

Anyone who has played previous games in the series such as Brotherhood or Revelations should know how the following steps work. Once you acquire an assassin, hold to bring up the Assassin Mission Map/Menu and press to access the different states and missions that are available. Then, you must assign your recruit to a contract/mission. Try to pick missions which are relatively easy and have a high chance of success. Your assassin will then be dispatched in an attempt to complete the mission. They will return after the real-life time stated in the contract has elapsed.

Simply do this periodically every time they have completed/finished a particular mission and they will earn XP. Your assassin will need to earn 1100 XP to reach Level 11 (Assassin Rank). The trophy will pop when your first assassin reaches this rank/level.

Note - If your assassin fails a mission, they will not be lost forever like in previous games. They will simply be unavailable for five minutes before they recover.
  • Exchange undamaged pelts at all different general stores.

To earn this trophy you must exchange/sell at least one undamaged animal pelt to every general store in the game. The only way you can acquire undamaged pelts is by killing an animal with your hidden blade. There are a total of 9 different general stores which are scattered across different regions in the game. There are 3 stores in Boston, 3 in the Frontier and a further 3 in New York. If you are having difficulty locating any of the stores, please refer to the list and video guide below.

    Boston
    • Child's Still House of Dry Goods
    • Elizabeth Murray's Fineries
    • Hancock's Store No. 5
    Frontier Stores
    • Murdoch's Barter
    • The Milliner's Wares
    • The Walking Haberdashery
    New York
    • De Lancey's Imports & Goods
    • Rhinelander's Sugars
    • Van Brugh's Spices
Note - There is no way of checking which general stores you have traded at in-game, so feel free to use this list to track your progress.

  • Witness a predator killing an enemy.

There are a number of predators which can be found in the rural parts of the game. Some examples include wolves, foxes, bears and cougars. It is paramount that you remain hidden during the conflict involving one or more predators. Do not approach or interact with them, or the trophy will not unlock. Just simply observe the kill from a distance.

Here is an example of how you can earn this trophy.

  • Fin

Complete each of the epilogue missions unlocked after the credits roll.

This is story-related and can not be missed. After sitting through the credits (which are unskippable), there are 3 short Epilogue "missions" to play, one in each area. It would be more accurate to describe them as cut-scenes rather than missions. Once you've watched all 3, the trophy will unlock.
  • Reach level 20 in the multiplayer mode.

Reaching Level 20 online should take far less time than in the previous games. This is due to the brand new multiplayer mode for Assassin’s Creed III called Wolfpack. This mode can be played solo by choosing "Wolfpack (Invite Only) - Standard” and booting up the game, thus negating the need to organise boosting groups.

By playing on “Standard” difficulty, you should be able to reach at least Sequence 15 on every match without much effort, as most targets are stationary and alone. After this, the time limit becomes a little tighter due to the increase in points needed, and the more intelligent behaviour of the targets. Nevertheless, it is still possible to reach Sequence 20 and beyond solo, which will reward you around 6-8000 XP per match. If you complete Sequence 25, you will receive 9000 XP, which is the maximum in a Standard Wolfpack game.

A tip for reaching the higher rounds in Wolfpack Mode is to make the bonus targets your priority (when they appear) as they will give you a time boost. Furthermore, the “Fort Wolcott” map is one of the easiest maps for this mode, due to it's small size and lots of open space.

In addition, it is important that you are aware of the challenges which reward you with bonus XP. These particular challenges can be found on the Multiplayer Main Menu by pressing twice to get to the “Progression” tab, then selecting “Game Progression” and then “Challenges”. Playing through and completing these challenges will make the ranking up process much faster for you. It is possible to reach Level 20 in a matter of 4 or 5 hours by using the Wolfpack only method. In addition it only took me a total of 12 Wolfpack matches to reach Level 20.

The total amount of XP needed to reach Level 20 is 127,300 XP.

If you wish to find a boosting partner to play Wolfpack and any other online mode, you can find the dedicated boosting thread here.

Note - You will not receive XP in any of the private modes or matches in multiplayer.
  • Reach sequence 10 in a map on Wolfpack multiplayer mode.

The basic premise of Wolfpack Mode is to rack up a certain amount of points within the time limit by assassinating targets. Every time the points target is reached, you advance onto the next sequence. If you play solo on “Standard” mode, you should have no difficulty at all in reaching Sequence 10 on your first try. See "Abstergo Entertainment" for more details on this method.
  • Be on the winning team at the end of a multiplayer game session.

This is the only online trophy that can not be achieved in Wolfpack mode. However, it is very easy to obtain by simply choosing “Custom Match” and then “Team Objectives” and playing either Domination, Manhunt (recommended, as this is the most popular) or Artifact Assault. Then all you need to do is simply finish the match on the winning team. You shouldn't have any problem getting this trophy. It will most likely pop naturally whilst working towards reaching Level 20. However, if you have difficulty winning with your team, you can boost this trophy in a private match/mode. Click here to find boosting partners for this trophy.
  • Customize your multiplayer Profile and Character.

This trophy can be earned once you reach Level 3 in Multiplayer. You will then be able to edit your Player Profile by pressing on the main menu and selecting the “Customization” tab. Then choose “Edit Player Profile” and change any one of the options, be it Patron Picture, Emblem or Title.

To edit a character, you must be Level 3 as this is when the first items become unlocked. Select the “Characters” option under the “Customization” tab, then select the character you want to edit. For example you could go down to “Edit Face” and then select “War Paint 1”. This is the cheapest item you can purchase at 150 Abstergo Credits, and once unlocked you will receive the trophy.
  • Unlock a hacked version of one of the Abstergo videos in the story quest.

This trophy requires you to complete certain challenges, in order to unlock a hacked version of the Abstergo Development Diaries. You will need to go into Wolfpack Online, and select an option called "The Abstergo Story". The easiest challenge to unlock/complete is the first one, which is available at Level 1. You will need to meet the following two conditions:

    • The Enduring - Earn 25 cumulative Multi-Kill bonuses in any team mode or Wolfpack
    • The Bird of Prey - Perform 20 cumulative Aerials Kills in any online match/mode.
The 20 Aerials Kills should come naturally whilst playing online. There are plenty of opportunities for these, particularly against the static targets in the earlier rounds of Wolfpack mode.

The 25 Multi-Kills can be earned in various ways. You can earn them solo in Wolfpack Mode by killing two targets within a few seconds of each other. However you will find that this will be quite hard to do as the second target will usually stun you or escape. I had only obtained 9 of these by the time I reached Level 20.

You can also get the Multi-Kill bonus by assassinating targets at the same time in a public Wolfpack match, or in Team Objective games. However, you will find that the easiest way to obtain them is to work with a boosting partner or friend in private Wolfpack matches.

Secret trophies

  • Complete Present - Stadium.

Story related and can not be missed. You will unlock this trophy after completing the short Desmond mission, which takes place upon completion of Sequence 8.
  • Complete Present - Skyscraper.

Story related and can not be missed. You will unlock this trophy after completing the short Desmond mission, which takes place upon completion of Sequence 5.
  • Complete Present - Abstergo.

Story related and can not be missed. You will unlock this trophy after completing the short Desmond mission, which takes place upon completion of Sequence 10.
  • Find all pivots and sync the Animus to the Cloud.

Note - This trophy requires an Internet connection, due to the pivots being linked to and controlled by the Ubisoft servers. As a result they will spawn in random locations which will be different for everyone.

You must complete the main story and all of the epilogue missions before you can attempt this trophy. After completing the game, a new option will appear on your menu called "Animus Syncing". This is an additional challenge or mini-game in which you have to locate items known as "Pivots". There are total of 12 Pivots to find. Please note that Pivots do not have set positions and will appear at random. In addition a new Pivot will appear every 15 minutes (in-game time).

Each time you find one, a small message will appear in the top right hand corner of the screen saying Animus Hack Unlocked. Once you have collected all of the pivots, go into the menu and click Pivots Info. The trophy will unlock after the animated log feature on the menu has finished loading.

Unfortunately, many users have been experiencing problems with getting the pivots to appear, and therefore this trophy can be considered glitched. However, there does appear to be a workaround, which has been discovered by ferryjan.

See the video guide below, for further clarification of what is required for this trophy.

DLC: Battle Hardened Pack

4 trophies

  • With any of the additional characters, perform 20 ‘Revive’ actions.

To earn this trophy, you must perform 20 Revives with any of the three new characters. To revive a teammate, you must be on the attacking team in a team-based game such as Manhunt. Then, when a teammate is stunned by the defending team, you must approach them and press to revive them before they get back up of their own accord.

This trophy is much easier to boost in Private mode. However, you will need 4 people instead of 3, as if you only have 3, the highest-levelled player will always be placed on his own in a team due to balancing. Therefore, this player will not have a partner to revive.

This trophy is cumulative in two aspects: all 20 Revives don’t have to be earned in one match, and all 20 don’t have to be done with the same DLC character. Obviously though, they must all ultimately be done with the three DLC characters.
There is actually a way for just two players to earn this trophy. It takes a lot longer, but is perhaps less of a hassle since you only need to find one partner and not three. Thanks to Muthafodder for the method:

The 20+ Revives can be done in a private Wolfpack game with a minimum of 2 players, this was also done on Hardcore to maximize the chances of getting stunned.
After Sequence 1, the enemies will begin to stun you, and you always have two targets.
One person will run into the two targets and kill one of them while the other player stands back at a distance and preferably out of the line of sight of the targets to better the chance the stun. The player that killed one of the targets will get stunned and the other player can then approach and revive.
The player performing the Revives can get in about three to four stuns before the time runs out, it's the average with this method.
  • Finish a multiplayer game session with each of the additional characters.

This trophy is very easy. Simply start a Solo Wolfpack game as either the Governor, Highlander or Coyote Man. It is best to do it in this mode as you can choose the characters yourself without having to worry about another member of your team choosing a different one. Once the game starts, simply let the time run out (it should be one minute). Once you’ve done that, choose one of the other two characters and do the same again. Do this a third time with the last additional character and the trophy will pop. You can also earn this trophy quickly by completing the Multiplayer tutorial with each of the three new characters (thanks to TigerLust for confirming).

Confusingly, when you are selecting your character, the game does not tell you the name of the character, which means that it is quite possible for you to select a non-DLC character. Therefore, the following images show the 3 DLC characters that you should use:

    The Coyote Man

    The Highlander

    The Governor
  • Stun 3 pursuers without dying, playing with any of the additional characters.

This trophy is extremely easy when boosted in Private mode. Firstly, you must choose any of the 3 DLC characters and be on the defending team in any team-based match (such as Manhunt) to be able to stun. Then, have players from both teams meet in the middle of the map and let each player on the defending team stun the attacking team three times each. This is done by approaching an enemy and pressing .

This trophy should be done in conjunction with One for All, so that when an enemy is stunned, he is revived by a member of his own team to count towards that trophy.

This trophy can also be earned in Training Mode. Choose Introductory Session 3 and stun the 3 pursuers that the tutorial gives you. Thanks to DeepEyes for bringing this method to my attention and to ExodusAoA for the following video which shows this method:

  • Complete a Wolfpack multiplayer session on any of the additional maps.

Depending on your skill at Wolfpack, this may be the most difficult trophy in the DLC. The description says you must “complete” a Wolfpack game, which means reaching and finishing Sequence 25. I personally found this much easier to do solo, as the number of targets and points threshold per sequence is less than with 2 players. However, this is just as feasible with a partner as long as you both understand the mechanics of Wolfpack and preferably have a mic to communicate. Do not forget that this must be done on one of the Extra Content Maps, which are Saint Pierre, Fort St-Mathieu and Charlestown.

As always with Wolfpack, maximising your score-per-kill is essential. Always look to fulfil the bonus objective for each kill, and aim to get a Focus, Incognito and Hidden bonus every time. You should also make the bonus targets that give you extra time your priority at all times.

DLC: The Tyranny of King Washington Episode 1: The Infamy

4 trophies

  • Receive an unexpected gift.

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed. You will receive this trophy halfway through Mission 2: "Warn The Village".
At the beginning of the mission, you will need to follow your mother back to your village. Once you reach there, a cutscene will play and she will reward Ratonhnhaké:ton with the hidden blades. Once the cutscene is over, you will have to defend your village from attack with your new weapons. This trophy will unlock as soon as this battle starts.
  • Kill 25 enemies while staying cloaked.

During Mission 3: "Sky World Journey", you will unlock the "Wolf Cloak" ability. When activated this will turn the player invisible and cause you to be able to walk much faster, but will drain your health at the same time. Wolf Cloak can be assigned to your Quick Select menu on the by holding , selecting the Wolf icon with and then pressing any of the four directions. Once you've done that, select it with the corresponding button on the and press to activate it.

There are a few things to bear in mind when you are using the Wolf Cloak:

1: You must use the Hidden Blades to kill enemies without being detected. If you use the tomahawk you will be discovered.

2: At no point press whilst the cloak is equipped as you will start running and this will deactivate the ability, making you visible.

3: Bear in mind that your health will deteriorate surprisingly fast. To recover it, hide in long grass or a haystack and deactivate Wolf Cloak with . Your health will regenerate equally as quickly. If you are in an area surrounded by enemies, press when hidden to automatically exit your hiding spot with your Wolf Cloak on, thus remaining undetected.

You will need to kill 25 enemies whilst invisible. This will come very quickly as you can easily kill quite a few guards in the last three missions with the Cloak, and also there are many enemies to kill whilst travelling between missions. Attack Convoy missions are also great for this, as you can sneak up behind the guards at the back of the convoy and kill them without being detected. Once you have killed all the guards walking behind the convoy, deactivate Wolf Cloak to get your health back (you won't be seen as the cage is in the way) then activate it again and kill the guards in between the two cages. Replenish your health again and then activate the Cloak and kill the guards walking in front of the convoy.

Note that if you attack a group of guards and are detected, none of your kills in that group will be counted, even if you killed a couple of guards. You must either kill the whole group without being detected or just kill a couple and run off without being chased. If you wish to kill a whole group but find your health running out, kill as many as you can then run and hide to recover your health before heading back to finish them off.
  • Reach 100% synchronization in the Frontier.

In order to achieve 100% synchronization and unlock this trophy, you will need to accomplish the following:
    • Complete all 6 main story missions with 100% sync
    • Complete 5 Attack Convoy missions
    • Complete 5 Help the Hungry missions
    • Complete 5 Wolf Rescue missions
    • Collect 3 Memory Artifacts
Nothing in this list is challenging at all, so you should have no problems. The side-missions are in abundance in the Frontier and randomly generate as you travel. As mentioned in the Roadmap, travelling between the 3 towns in the middle of the Frontier Map either on foot or by horse seems to generate more side-missions than other areas. There are an infinite amount of these side-missions, but you will only need to complete 5 of each for the trophy. Note that opening all Treasure Chests is not required for this or any other trophy. Similarly, progress in the main game's version of the Frontier does not count towards this trophy; it's a completely separate entity.

You can check how many of each type of mission you have completed, as well as your total sync %, in the DNA Tracker in the Pause menu (press and then twice). You can see your overall sync value out of 1000, as well as a breakdown of all the missions.

If you require any help or tips about accomplishing 100% sync, please see my 100% sync guide.

Secret trophies

  • Defeat Benedict Arnold.

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed. You will receive this trophy upon completion of Mission 6: "Justice Served" and thus the end of the story.
After freeing the bear from captivity, you will need to use your Wolf Cloak to sneak into the fort. Once you do so, go to the orange circle on your map and go up the ramp in the area. Scan the surroundings with Eagle Vision () and you will see a gold target walking round. This is Benedict Arnold. Simply run up to him with your Wolf Cloak activated and your Hidden Blades equipped. Press to assassinate him and earn this trophy.

DLC: The Tyranny of King Washington Episode 2: The Betrayal

3 trophies

  • Use Eagle Flight to travel 1 km.

During Mission 2: "Sky World Journey", you will obtain the "Eagle Flight" ability. This ability allows you to aim at ledges and buildings with the and press to transform into an eagle and quickly fly up or across to the area you selected. If you aim at another platform before you land and press again, you can immediately "chain" your flight to avoid stopping. This allows you to traverse the environment much quicker than by normal Free Running, although beware that every time you press and fly to a new ledge, your health will deteriorate slightly. Eagle Flight can be assigned to your Quick Select menu on the by holding , selecting the Eagle icon with and then pressing any of the four directions. Once you’ve done that, select it with the corresponding button on the and press to activate it.

You will almost certainly earn this trophy without even trying, as 1 km really isn't that far. I got this trophy during Mission 3 whilst playing naturally, as most of the distance is already covered in the ability's tutorial in Mission 2. If for some strange reason you haven't unlocked this by the end of the story, you are free to roam around in Boston post-game. You will get this in a matter of seconds using the ability to fly across the rooftops.
  • Reach 100% synchronization in Boston.

In order to reach 100% synchronization in Boston, you will need to complete all of the following:
    • Complete all 9 main story missions with 100% sync
    • Complete 4 Attack Convoy missions
    • Complete 5 Help the Hungry missions
    • Complete 4 Rescue Civilian missions
    • Complete 2 Wolf Rescue missions
    • Collect 3 Memory Artefacts
None of these side-missions are particularly challenging in their own right but be prepared to fight many guards at once. Unlike the sparsely-populated Frontier of the first episode, Boston is densely-packed with guards. If they so much as see you running around, you will be attacked. Therefore, during the vast majority of these missions, you will have to kill many more guards than originally shown to complete these missions, particularly during the "Attack Convoy" scenarios. There are far fewer hiding places, so even Wolf Cloak cannot help you much as there is nowhere to hide and regain your health.

Fortunately, unlike in Episode 1, these side-missions spawn in the same location every time. Once you complete one, simply leave the immediate vicinity before returning by which time the mission scenario will have regenerated.

You can check how many of each type of mission you have completed, as well as your total sync %, in the DNA Tracker in the Pause menu (press and then twice). You can see your overall sync value out of 1125, as well as a breakdown of all the missions.

If you require any help or tips about accomplishing 100% sync in the main missions, please see Darth Mader's excellent 100% Sync Guide here: 100% Sync Guide.

If you require any help or tips about accomplishing 100% sync in the side-missions, please see below:
    4 Attack Convoys

When you are running round the map you will get a notification informing you that an enemy convoy is nearby, these are displayed as a small red rectangle on the map. Run over to it and there will be 10 Bluecoats guarding the two cages - three each marching in front and behind and 4 in the middle between the cages. The best tactic to start you off is to employ one of your Animal Powers. If you choose to use the Wolf Cloak, activate it and take out as many as you can before your health deteriorates. If you use Eagle Assassinate, perch yourself on a ledge above the convoy and take out a group of two Bluecoats to thin the number of guards. Either way, a load of other guards are going to join in, meaning you will have to defeat all of them before you lose your notoriety. Once you do, free the prisoners from the two cages by going up to each one and pressing .

See the map below for a guaranteed spawn point of this mission.

    5 Help The Hungry

To "feed" a citizen you will need to have Raw Meat in your inventory. These can be obtained either by looting chests. pickpocketing from the people around Boston or from your time in the Frontier. I already had the maximum of 10 in my inventory from Episode 1 and they carry over here.

When you are notified of a starving citizen nearby, locate him on your Map and then approach him and press . One "Raw Meat" will be taken from your inventory and this mission will be complete.

See the map below for a guaranteed spawn point of this mission.

    4 Rescue Civilian

When running around Boston, you will be informed that Bluecoats are about to execute a civilian. Get there as quickly as you can and take out the guards surrounding the citizen. There are usually only 2 or 3 that need to be killed for the mission to count as completed, but it is extremely likely that a bunch of other guards will see you and come rushing to attack you. Either fight them off or run away and become anonymous again.

See the map below for a guaranteed spawn point of this mission.

    2 Wolf Rescue

The Wolf Rescue missions involve you defending a citizen from three wolves. To defeat them, run up to the citizen and stab as many of the wolves with your hidden blades as you can before they attack you. You can also just stand there and let all the wolves attack you anyway. Either way, you will need to engage in a QTE, whereby you need to press two buttons to defeat each wolf. You have plenty of time to press the buttons and the first button is always , followed by another of the 3 face buttons i.e. .

The following map shows a guaranteed spawn point of all four types of side-mission in Boston (thanks to The BiggD from xbox360achievements.org):

    3 Memory Artefacts

There are three "Lucid Memory Artefacts" to find around Boston. The first one is available right after Sequence 4, whilst the last two are only available at the end of the story. When you get within their general vicinity, the symbol for the artefact will appear on your Map. When you find the artefact, interact with it by pressing . You will be shown a holographic image which indicates that fragment has been found. The locations for the three are as follows:

    1. After Sequence 3 ends you will be on a rooftop. Directly on your route to the mission marker for Mission 4, this fragment will be in your path in the form of a musket on a rooftop. See the map below for the precise location of this fragment (it is the South-Easterly one).

    2. Located in the far north of Boston, this artefact will be in the form of a hat on a wooden table underneath an awning. See the map below for the precise location of this fragment (it is the one in the north).

    3. The final fragment is located in the Mid-Western part of Boston and takes the form of a crate in the middle of a huge group of guards. Your best bet is to sneak past them with your Wolf Cloak ability and interact with the artefact, otherwise you face a massive fight before you can become anonymous. See the map below for the precise location of this fragment (it is the one in the South-West).

(Map courtesy of The BiggD from xbox360achievements.org):

When all three are collected, a symbol on your map will appear in the North-East of Boston, out to sea on the Aquila. This is the location for a video which sheds some light on the fragments, however, it is not required to watch this video for the trophy.

Secret trophies

  • Defeat Putnam.

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed. You will earn this trophy upon completion of Mission 9: "Escape To New York" at the end of the story.
After you have defended your fellow soldiers from the waves of enemies and they have boarded the Aquila, Putnam will appear holding your friend Kanen'tó:kon hostage at knife-point. You will have to use one of your Animal Powers to kill Putnam. Either use your Wolf Cloak ability to become invisible and then run to him and stab him or, even easier, use Eagle Assassinate. This is done by equipping your Eagle power, holding and aiming towards Putnam with the and then releasing . You will fly over to him and assassinate him thus earning you this trophy.

DLC: The Tyranny of King Washington Episode 3: The Redemption

3 trophies

  • Kill 125 enemies using Bear Might.

During Mission 2: “Sky World Journey”, you will obtain the “Bear Might” ability. This ability allows you to pound the ground by pressing , causing a shockwave which knocks down and kills all enemies within its substantial blast radius. It also allows you to destroy gates and other breakable objects. Bear Might can be assigned to your Quick Select menu on the by holding , selecting the Bear icon with and then pressing any of the four directions. Once you’ve done that, select it with the corresponding button on the and press to activate it. Be careful not to use it too much and leave yourself vulnerable though, as using this power drains away a significant portion of your health bar compared with the other powers. You will only get 3 uses before your health becomes critical.

You will almost certainly earn this trophy without even trying, as you get to try out the power during the tutorial in Mission 2, and then on a couple of further occasions in the story. You will also encounter a large number of guards in New York who will attack you. Every time you get a few bunched together, use this power to clear them out and work towards this trophy.

If you want to get this trophy as quickly as possible, you can do so in Mission 2: “Sky World Journey”. As soon as you obtain the ability, you will come to a section where Washington sends a huge number of guards running towards you. Kill all of them with Bear Might, then pause the game and select “Reload Checkpoint”. Kill all of them again, and it should be enough to earn you this trophy.
  • Reach 100% synchronization in New York.

In order to reach 100% synchronization in New York, you will need to complete all of the following:
    • Complete all 8 main story missions with 100% Sync
    • Complete 3 Attack Convoy missions
    • Complete 3 Defend Civilian missions
    • Complete 6 Help the Hungry missions
    • Complete 3 Rescue Civilian missions
    • Collect 3 Lucid Memory Artefacts
None of these side-missions are particularly challenging in their own right, but be prepared to fight many guards at once, as often when trying to clear out the enemies needed for the mission, many more join the fray. Bear Might comes in extremely handy here, as it can wipe out large groups of enemies at once.

Fortunately, side-missions spawn in the same location every time. Once you complete one, simply leave the immediate vicinity before returning, by which time the mission scenario will have regenerated.

You can check how many of each type of mission you have completed, as well as your total Sync %, in the DNA Tracker in the Pause menu (press and then twice). You can see your overall sync value out of 3000 (which should be at 2125 at the beginning of this DLC if you obtained 100% in the previous episodes, meaning that The Redemption is out of 875), as well as a breakdown of all the missions.

If you require any help or tips about accomplishing 100% Sync in either the main missions or side-missions, please see my 100% Sync Guide below.

Secret trophies

  • Defeat George Washington

This trophy is story-related and cannot be missed. You will earn this trophy upon completion of Mission 8: “Inevitable Confrontation” at the end of the story.
Once the cutscene on top of the pyramid finishes, the boss battle will commence. Defeating Washington via conventional purposes won’t work, so you will need to use your Animal Powers here. Washington will stand in the middle of the area with golden spheres moving slowly around him. If you approach him normally, he will knock you back with his sceptre. Therefore, equip your Wolf Cloak with to become invisible, and dodge the spheres whilst moving towards him. If a sphere touches you, you will lose your invisibility and Washington will knock you back. If you dodge them and reach him, press to attack him and deal damage. Repeat this process another couple of times, dodging the increasing number of spheres, until you come to a phase where the spheres move much quicker around the circle in groups of two and three. Washington will also intermittently perform a ground attack at this point, which sends out a shockwave to knock you back. This means you can’t approach with your Wolf Cloak, so use Eagle Assassination (hold and aim towards him with the with the Eagle power equipped) on him when his protective barrier disappears and the spheres aren’t in your way. You will knock him to the ground and attack him during a small scene.

Once he knocks you back, you must repeat the above process again. Eventually, a small scene with some dialogue will play. You are then told to use your Bear Might power on the corners of the stained glass floor. Once you have used Bear Might on three corners, a cutscene will initiate, during which this trophy will pop.
