Congratulations on your Platinum trophy!
![]() | Master of the Blade
| Successfully complete all of the batting lessons and challenges. | |||
This is a pretty easy trophy. All you need to do is complete the batting lessons and challenges, some are tricky and may take longer than others, but you should get this trophy pretty easily. There are 6 challenges: the only one that will give you any trouble is challenge #6 because of the tight field but you should achieve it within a couple of goes.
![]() | Master with the Ball
| Successfully complete all of the bowling lessons and challenges. | |||
The bowling lessons are very simple, you just need to listen to exactly what the guys tell you and remember to press the correct button to bowl the correct delivery. The bowling challenges are pretty easy, the only one that will take time is possibly challenge no5, you have ten overs to remove the remaining 5 batsmen with Flintoff & Panesar (pace & spin), I only managed to do this with 3 overs to spare, but again practice makes perfect and if you are good at bowling it will probably be done in your first try.
![]() | Dynamite in the Field
| Successfully complete all of the fielding lessons. | |||
Probably the easiest trophy on the game, there are only a few challenges & lessons which are all very simple, fielding for me is the easiest part of the game so this shouldn't take very long.

![]() | The Triple Ton | ||
| Score 300 runs in an innings with a single batsman in single player or ranked online match. | |||
You need to score 300 runs in one innings with a batsman, this is a pretty difficult trophy and may take some time. Firstly I'd recommend starting a test match, as 50 overs may not be enough to get this and in a test match you have a lot more time. Put the difficulty to easy as well.
![]() | Ashes King with the Bat
| Score 500 runs in an Ashes Series with a single batsman in single player. | |||
This is quite a tricky trophy, you need 500 runs in the series with one batsman. Use the batsman you used to get the run trophies, you will only need about 200 runs and if you got 'The Triple Ton' in the 1st innings of the 1st test at Cardiff you will have 9 innings remaining to do this, which should be enough time to get the remaining runs you need for this trophy. Just take your time, use the tips stated in the description for 'The Triple Ton' and you will get this trophy in no time at all.
![]() | Power Hitting | ||
| Hit 6 fours in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This generally is a difficult trophy, mainly because of the field, the first over or two will be the best chance to get this as the field will be at default, remember if you are struggling you do not have to do this in one over, just 6 consecutive deliveries. An important tip is don't slog it! As this way you might get a 6.
![]() | The Blazing Blade
| Hit 6 sixes in 6 consecutive deliveries in an innings in single player or ranked online match. | |||
Similar to 'Power Hitting', this time you need to hit 6 sixes in a row, again you don't need to do this in one over, just in 6 consecutive deliveries. Put the difficulty to easy and press
![]() | The Hat Trick | ||
| Take 3 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This can be quite tricky for most people, but it is quite simple if you use the following tips:
![]() | The Top Hat Trick | ||
| Take 4 wickets in a row from one bowler in a match in single player or ranked online match. | |||

![]() | If You Want Something Done Right
| Take 10 wickets in an innings with a single bowler in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This is a pretty hard trophy, this will take some time, probably about 20/30 overs to get. You will want to use a spinner, as with these bowlers there is more chance of you getting an edge off the bat which then in turn goes straight to the wicket keeper. You could use the method stated in 'The Hat Trick' trophy description, which will get you a few wickets quite fast. Some tips:
![]() | Nought and Nought
| Dismiss a batsman for a duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This is a pretty simple trophy, you just need to bowl a batsman out for 0 runs in both innings of a Test Match. Choose a tail end batsman for this, and save before you bowl to him in the 2nd innings.
![]() | King Pair | ||
| Dismiss a batsman for a golden duck twice in a Test Match in single player or ranked online match. | |||
A golden duck is where a batsman is dismissed on his first ball for a duck. This makes this trophy a lot harder than 'Nought and Nought', but like that trophy you need to dismiss the batsman for a golden duck in both innings. Use the methods stated for the other bowling trophies for this to get the first wicket, then like 'Nought and Nought', save just before you bowl to the batsman in the 2nd innings. Then reload if you don't get him out for a golden duck first time.
![]() | Ashes Destroyer | ||
| Take 40 wickets in an Ashes series with a single bowler in single player. | |||
You need to get 40 wickets with one bowler in an Ashes series, which at first sounds like a daunting task but if you make sure the opponent bats first every match, you will have 100 wickets available. Choose two bowlers, one bowler will automatically get 40 wickets, unlocking this trophy. It pops as soon as one of your bowlers gets 40 wickets, I got it in the 2nd innings of the 3rd test at Edgbaston.
![]() | Demolition with the Ball
| Bowl the opponent out in 10 overs or less in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This is a difficult trophy, probably one of the hardest in the game if bowling is not your strength. Select a strong team like England and the opponent Zimbabwe or Kenya. Now use the custom player or any bowler you prefer/is easy to take wickets with and take all 10 wickets in less than 10 overs. If you can get 3 or 4 wickets in the opening 2 or 3 overs save the match and reload later if you don't think you can get all 10 wickets in the 10 overs allotted.
![]() | ODI Domination | ||
| Score 300 runs or more in an innings of an ODI Match in single player or ranked online match. | |||
See 'Test Match Domination'. This trophy requires you to play an ODI and get 300 runs.
![]() | Test Match Domination
| Score 600 runs or more in an innings of a Test Match in single player or ranked online match. | |||
You need to score 600 runs in one innings, which as you can imagine which take some time. You have 10 wickets at your disposal, so play ground shots which get you fours until you hit 200, then you can slog it, but be careful not to lose too many wickets. If you have lost half of your wickets before you reach 300, keep playing ground shots, and aim for perfect timing, if timing is poor you may get an inside or outside edge which could lead to the batsman's dismissal. You don't need to score 600 runs with one batsman, 600 has to be the team's total, so you can pick a good team like England or Australia, or you could create your own team using custom players; remember to max out their batting skills to help you. (The latter way was how I earned this trophy)
![]() | 10 Wicket Defeat | ||
| Win a Test Match by 10 wickets in single player or ranked online match. | |||
This is a pretty easy trophy, but one that requires both good batting & bowling. Pick a weak team as your opponent, and pick a good team to play as such as England or Australia. Make sure you field first, and just bowl the opponent out, it doesn't matter what score they get at this point. If they score 50/60, make sure to hit about 70 with your batsman, then bowl them out again. If they get 50 again (like the 1st innings) you will need 31 to win (one more than their total over both innings in the Test Match). To get this trophy, you need to win by 10 wickets, which means you cannot lose a wicket while chasing their total. Bat carefully, play ground shots, don't take any risks. Win the match without losing a wicket in your 2nd innings and this trophy will unlock.
![]() | Innings Defeat | ||
| Win a Test Match by an innings or more in single player or ranked online match. | |||
You need to win by an innings, this basically means you must bat first. Set a very high total (400/450), just slog it really, though don't slog it too much if you are losing wickets. If you are, resort to ground shots, finding gaps in the field. Declare at about 450, and bowl the opponent (select a weak team again) out for a small score, say 30. The game will ask you if you want to enforce the follow-on, this means making the opponent bat again, select yes. Just bowl them out again, making sure they don't surpass your total of 450. If their added total from both innings is less than 449, the match will end, you winning by an innings, and this trophy will unlock.
![]() | ODI Champions | ||
| Win a full-length ODI Tournament in single player. | |||
This trophy is actually fairly easy, the description says you need to win an ODI tournament (ODI's are 50 overs in real life unless rain affected) but you can actually choose how many overs you want to play. Select 5 as this is the lowest you can have, then select 'Tournament', then 'Quarter Final'. Then when it comes to selecting teams, select the worst teams. These are:
![]() | 20 Over Champions
| Win a full-length 20 Over Tournament in single player. | |||
This is the same as 'ODI Champions', except this time it's 20 Overs. You cannot change the amount of overs you play in this mode. Again, select 'Tournament', and then 'Quarter Final' and win it. The structure is the same as the ODI tournament, this will take longer, but using the method for 'The Hat Trick' earlier on in this guide you can still bowl out the opponent in less than 10 overs (this will also unlock 'Demolition with the Ball' if you haven't already). Their total will be small again, more like 50 this time, but you have 20 overs to beat it so there's plenty of time, remember a couple of tips: Play carefully and when you get a bad delivery hit it, for six, Win the quarter final, semi final and final to unlock this trophy.
![]() | Ashes Champions | ||
| Win an Ashes series in single player. | |||
You need to win the Ashes series in single player, it doesn't matter if you are England or Australia for this. Remember to select easy difficulty. You can use a team of custom players with their bowling skills maxed out, it doesn't matter about batting because easy A.I are pretty terrible at batting, you can bowl them out for next to nothing. The Ashes is a 5 match series but unfortunately the trophy only pops at the end of the series. If you have won the Ashes by the end of the 3rd test at Edgbaston, you will have to play through the 4th and 5th tests for this trophy to pop, it will pop at the end of the 5th test.
