Heralder No More
Destroy a Heralder aircraft on any difficulty

One of the objectives in the very first mission is to destroy a Heralder. The difficulty here comes from the limited time you have to destroy it when it's moving from island to island. A common strategy is to go ahead to the next docking point when the ship stops and destroy the ships and ground structures first. Then, come back and get the ship on the move again and just lay into it. After it leaves the third base, you only have a short amount of time to destroy it. If you fail, pause and restart.

Broken Falchion
Shoot down a Falchion aircraft on any difficulty

The first Falchion is on the second stage and is also part of an objective. When it appears, fly away from the island so you're not being fired at by ground lasers. This shouldn't be a difficult fight; try sticking to the flanks and rear and running off to kill other ships if you're bothered.

Champion of Praxor
Finish the second stage on any difficulty

Simple enough - finish the second stage. Strategy for defeating the Falchion above. You can ignore some of the objectives as well. You'll fail the objective but you'll still advance to the next stage.

Destroyer
Destroy 500 aerial opponents on any difficulty

This should occur during your first playthrough. Don't bee-line through it and you'll get it within the first few stages.

Defender of Khara
Finish the fourth stage on any difficulty

Sounds simple, but there's a lot going on is this stage and it can become overwhelming. Visit this thread for discussion. In it, Lieu10ant provides this strategy:

Fly northeast to the island that is directly above the red arrows when the level starts and start attacking the island from the LEFT side. There are less enemies that can hurt you. You should be done with this island before you fail the first objective; if you don't, you might want to restart the stage.

On the 2nd island, attack from the SOUTH and SOUTH only. Plant mines near the generator and keep using the vulcan cannon and the regular ol' ground weapon. Use the R3 stick attack to kill enemies that fly around.

For the 3rd island, fly directly SOUTH from the previous island. Now when you get pretty close to it, STAY 2 Kilometers AWAY from the island and fly AROUND IT to the south (from the right side). Now, when you are on the south side of the island, just kill off the generator again.

When you are done with this island, the aggravators (suicide bombers) should be launching. Before you fly to the 4th island, kill those off immediately. Don't waste all the time you've worked for to be killed by these. Now just attack the 4th island from the RIGHT side (you don't have to kill any ground enemies because they wont affect you. Make sure you use your mines.

Now go to the portal and the big ship should be arriving; kill it first and then finish the level off by destroying the 4 'legs' attached to it.

Ground Sweeper
Destroy 200 Draelus ground structures on any difficulty

Like the 'Destroyer' trophy, this should be accomplished before finishing the game. Just make sure to hit all turrets, bases, etc. while playing through - it'll make things easier anyway. You cannot start a new game or change difficulties while going for this achievement.

Searer Extinguished
Destroy the Searer on Tolak on any difficulty

The Searer is the last objective on stage 5. Several strategies are suggested in this thread including dumping your most powerful weapons into it without holding back and destroying the ship one side at a time in order to avoid the weapons on the other.

Master of Arms
Unlock the final ship on any difficulty

This occurs when you upgrade all of your weapons to maximum.

Savior of Tolak
Finish the sixth stage on any difficulty

There's a lot of discussion going on here and the major strategy that seems to work is to destroy the enemies around the portal when the stage starts so it's easier for the transports to make it through when they get close.

Challenger
Defeat the game on RECRUIT difficulty or higher

See"Legendary"

Reckoning Force
Defeat the game on SOLDIER difficulty or higher

See "Legendary"

Unstoppable
Defeat the game on VETERAN difficulty or higher

See "Legendary"

Legendary
Defeat the game on HARDCORE difficulty

These trophies are all attainable at once if played on hardcore. An overall strategy for the game is to ignore any objective you don't actually have to finish. You'll fail the objective but the game will still progress to the next stage. Each stage will still have objectives that you can't ignore so make sure to follow the strategies above and in the forums for the tough parts.

Secret Trophies

Don't You Die On Me
The friendly rebel Heralder must survive through the end of Khara (Stage 3)

A few points of focus - Make sure to run ahead whenever possible and take care of the ground enemies and the larger ships. Don't let the kamikaze ships hit the Heralder. You can do this on any difficulty so if you're having trouble, go back to recruit.

Abrupt Ending
Prevent the Harbinger from reaching its final destination

Here's the full strategy, copied straight from Pooshonmyshoos thread:

1. Start off right away by unloading the Disperser and Heavy Rockets into its outer component that’s facing you while it’s on the way to the first stop

2. Keep using the electro-mines and beam to wipe out the Daggers the Harbinger launches to get more megapacks (and more Disperser and Heavy Rocket ammo) – this way you can keep attacking the Harbinger with the heavier weaponry. Also, it can be useful to drop mines in the path of the Harbinger not just to kill the Daggers but to damage the outer components as it passes

3. When the Harbinger reaches the first stopping point don’t kill off the shield conduits right away – instead use electro-mines to farm the Daggers some (so they drop megapacks) to get your Disperser and Heavy Rocket ammunition filled back up

4. After you’ve gotten ammunition again you can kill the shield conduits so that it starts moving toward the second stop – again, unload the Disperser and Heavy Rocket on the Harbinger’s outer component that’s facing you. Try to make sure Daggers won’t intercept projectiles (especially heavy rockets) – the goal here is to try to take out the weapon components (at least three of them – potentially four) before it reaches the second stop

5. Once it reaches the second stop go ahead and repeat step 3 – don’t wipe out all of the shield conduits until you’re refilled you Disperser and Heavy Rocket ammunition, then finish off the shield conduits so the Harbinger begins its journey to stop #3

6. While the Harbinger is on the way to stop #3 keep attacking the outer components with the heavy weaponry. If you can wipe out all the weapon bays and one hangar (so five of the eight outer components destroyed) then you can basically do an outer circle that in the same direction that the Harbinger is rotating – using your afterburner you can get it so you can afterburn along with it, then turn and face it and attack it with the Disperser and Heavy Rocket (where it’s exposed), then continue doing this more. You’ll need to keep picking up megapacks to replenish your heavier weaponry, of course.

7. Even if step 6 doesn’t finish it off before it reaches stop #3, you can then replenish your heavy ammunition weaponry again, then once again let the Harbinger loose by destroying the remaining shield conduits. Now it’s headed toward the final destination so you need to kill it before it reaches the last stop. Repeat circling it with the afterburn to attack its exposed spot – if this proves difficult then you can try killing another hangar off (so six of its eight outer components destroyed) that’s facing you giving a bigger exposed area to target.

Note that you can also use the beam and electro-mine when you’re circling around it to further damage it.

Perfectionist
Defeat the game on any difficulty without failing any objectives

You might as well try this on the easiest difficulty since you can't miss anything throughout the entire game. If you fail an objective by mistake, just pause and restart the mission. At least it's not the whole game.
