Achievements vs Trophies

This should be a poll even thought it would be quite biased seeing as though this is a PS3 trophy forum. But personally i have both consoles and prefer trophies due to the fact that they offer a Platinum for completing games

Nope not for me. For example, I 1000/1000 Dantes Inferno, prior to the DLC and its on my completed list.

There is this thing on xbox that counts the achievements and achievements are better

he also said that trophies are boring and achievments are fun to get, but i didn't believe him.

On the 360 when dlc comes out, you're game magically becomes "incomplete", your 1000g doesn't mean shit.

That's why I like the Platinum, it doesn't get taken away once dlc comes out.

Trophies started with them and well I barely play anything on the X-Box much less go for the achievements.

another thread thats been done to death. Both systems have there own merits, however there is something special about earning that platinum that the 360 will never have
