Damn Sentinel Freefall

Alright, this is really getting on my nerves now but during the Sentinel Freefall part of the game I'm being driven insane by the button bashing section where you have to open his chest.

I'm playing through on Hard mode and this was the most difficult part for me on Normal difficulty too. No matter how hard and fast I hit the O button I always get hit by the lazers.

Any tips would be most welcome as it's really hampering the game for me.

There really is no tip there man, just hammer away on Circle and the chest plate should open up just fine

Try placing your controller flat on the ground, then hammer away with your thumb. Always works.

I tried five times without success but then my sister came and got it with first try!?! How is it possible???

I played Quantum of Solace for a few hours, came back to Wolverine and got it first time.

There's something not right about all of this...

I remember the first time I did it.
I couldn't do it right because every time Wolverine groans like an animal, I just lose it and laugh.

That damn thing was holding me back so much... I just completed the game on Hard mode. It was just the damn Sentinel chest that stopped me from progressing any further but I'll be avoiding that from now on

You're probably hitting the button too fast. Timing is the key, not speed.
