I've got this trophy and my platinum last night, i was trying a theory and it seems it works. A few days ago i was trying to get this trophy in multiple sessions and no success. Then i try in a session in multiple matches and no success. i ve always used my caw. Then i had read a post of a guy that said something that i was thinking: the problem with this game is SAVING. So i start again in a ladder match with my caw and started to do special moves and finishers out of the ring (i ve entered in WWE universe and create a ladder match against the world wide punching bagman santino marella), and i done more than 400 moves, then it got late for me and had to go to bed; but before i quit the game, i manually saved the game in the main menu. Yesterday, before i start, i load manually the saved data on the main menu, enter in wwe universe, create a ladder match against santino, and repeted the way, out of the ring. After 565 moves, the trophy poped, so it seems that the guy was right, try this method, it worked for me. Hope this could be the answer to the riddle of this trophy.

I just got the trophy using the sheamus method. I had well over the amount needed for the trophy if you combined all wrestlers used. I tried it in one match and it finally popped after about 1 hr. 40 min. Thank ya JESUS! lol

Game options:
Difficulty: Easy;
Camera Cuts: Off;
Momentum Bar: Fast;
Reversal AI: OFF

Character: Sheamus
Match: Ladder
Opponent: Rey Mysterio
(I removed allies and enemies from both Rey & Sheamus so no one would jump in)

Altered Sheamus moves as follows:
Ground: Grapple Moves Face Up: Upper is KNEE DROP 3
Signature: Boxing Ground Punch
Finishers: Face Stretch 2

Once you wear down Rey enough, you'll basically only have to do Knee drop, sig, finish, knee drop, sig finish, repeat repeat repeat. (You'll probably start off having to do Knee drop, stomp square button, signature, finisher)

Got 1004 right on the nose in under 2 hours.

How do you remove enemies and allies? I've clicked myself through everything in this game and can't seem to find it. Also how do I turn the Reversal AI off? I managed to turn everything low and yet I still get reversed at every friggin attemp.
Honestly, I'm beginning to hate this game very much. Never knew how crappy it was if you're not playing against your friends locally. Will never EVER by a THQ Wrestling game again.

can this trophy be done in an online match against a buddy?

if you wanted to get this platinum at the same time as one of your buddies could you do the exact same thing suggested for the man of... trophy but instead do it online and in a tornado tag tlc match or whatever?

that way, if you both only need that trophy left you just each take a guy with the settings on reversals appropriate and eventually you both will get the trophy then the plat.. maybe not EXACTLY the same time but reletivly close.

If i play a fatal 4 way TLC will that be any better than a single ladder match? Just more people to hit with moves i was thinking! Attempting it now with my CAW must have already done 200 odd finishers with him ill keep count

EDIT: After 840 the trophy unlocked, so it clearly saves some amount of finishers i had previously done during the game... PS took me like 5 Hours...

AT LAST, I got the platinum, this is my last trophy...pain in the ass really. My advice is..change your sig and finishers to knocking ground boxing or whatever. do it on WWE Universe, with 1 wrestler only, and 1 match if possible. I did it on 1.5 hours to get the trophy. I did a lot of sig and fin before that, so it should be accumulative.
