Sol 2 barrel roll?

Finally managed to unlock event 6 but i cant do the time trial on sol 2 becuase i cant figure out whereto boost,barrell roll.Can anyone help me please.

I have all medals and i can confirm that it doesn't need to barrel roll anywhere to get a medal. I use Icarus ship which is the fastest, just remember on some 180 to turn first THEN
hit HARD the airbrakes until the end of turn. If you airbrake first, then turn, you'll hit the wall. Same applies to Secumba(or sth) Climb
