Im not voting yet but as of right now i will be going with a 6, its not too bad at all! Ive Elite passed all the solo stuff and just need to complete the online campaign for my platinum. The only events that are frustrating are the Zones. No challenge took me more than 5 tries and im a WipEout noob + a novice at racers in general! Zico was easy, 4 barrel rolls and job done. I even missed quite a few pads but still got it.

The online is a boring grind, i just hit level 10 and already im sick off it.. Still the solo campaign was tons of fun and i eagerly await DLC.

The only trophy that I dont have yet are: Online Campaign (Just because im lazy to do it) and Elite Pass on all A+ Events (they are not hard, as far as you dont crash, you can lead with 4.0s or over from abouth the 3rd/5th lap -> Depends on the track)

Without online is a 3 and 4 max, but try online and then vote. It is much longer the SP campaign. DONT VOTEEEE.

I also voted a 9. I found this to be just as frustrating as wipeout HD, albeit for different reasons. They definitely toned down the AI so that was awesome, but I struggled with a number of the other trophies and had to practice quite a bit. The online campaign requires you to get first many times and that in itself to me makes this a 9. I imagine eventually they will let you set up rooms with friends and then that will make the online way easier. I think anyone who says this is cake compared to wipeout HD is delusional... I agree that it is slightly easier, but keeping my vita from flying across the room was definitely challenging at times so I wouldn't call this cake... Perhaps those of you who thought it was easy just got really good after playing wipeout HD.

my point of view:

the online is very easy, except if you don't know how to play WIPEOUT. For my wife WIPEOUT2048 should be a 10. For me it's a 3. As you said the online campaign is much longer than the offline campaign. But it's not important to rate the difficulty of the game...as "time consuming" does not mean "hard". (and the online campaign is not THAT long, it's not RESISTANCE 2 platinum we're talking about here)

There is no way the offline difficulty is a 3 for this game... I get so frustrated when people exaggerate just to try to look cool. I don't even know why I respond honestly, it just proves that your comments are effective. At any rate, I seriously wish that people would try to stop showing off and vote honestly. By voting a 3, you're saying that the offline for this game is twice as easy as getting platinum for Little Big Planet which is rated 6.5! I promise you that most people will NOT get most of the offline trophies, and definitely not the online ones.

As far as the online goes, I don't think it is simply time consuming... Getting first place upwards of 50 times in specific events is VERY difficult unless you are a wipeout legend... it's not just about time. I don't think there is any need to quote the guidelines here. I'm sure your response will be something like "I was voting honestly, it was easy for me", but frankly reviews like that are very misleading and unhelpful. Reviews like that are what caused me to buy this game thinking it was going to be easy, but it was far from that for me! So thanks for being so cocky...

I'm no Wipeout legend, but i seem to have won atleast 50 if not 60% of my races online. (100% at Subway, but thats not the point) and about 40% of the other game type (completely forgot its name )

The online campaign to me is just a matter of time. I will do it, as long as i can get online which i cant atm. I voted a 4/5 because its not hard, the hardest trophy is to win an A+ class race. Everything else is either easy or long.

Personally, I struggled quite a bit with winning an A+ race, the unlucky 7, getting a perfect lap with the piranha prototype, a bit on mach 1.5, and even beating zico... And of course online! Am I the only one? lol Perhaps I really do just suck and I should find myself a cave to go hide in...
