I'll just end it there, most playing alone won't make it to at-least the GR9 "weedout group" we used to call them. Save yourself the trouble and get online. |

Great guide I've just new game+ and started the quest grinding, lvl34 gr4. S leveling 50 quests I can imagine doing but 450 unique bindings ? surely that's beyond possible its not as if binding produces great results either because most the items can be bought or found in chests easily.

Hey I was thinking of starting this game again during the summer after I finish with Warhawk, and I was wondering if it would still be platinumable then for a relatively new player. Do people still play online now that the sequel is out?
Also this may be kind of a noobish question, but is story hard on your 1st playthrough?

I know that the campaign is single player. However, I am wondering if I can jump into online mode from the start without having to go through the campaign first. If it is possible, can I switch back and forth between campaign mode and online mode anytime? Will that affect any trophy?

In order to access the online you need to progress a bit in the story mode and talk to a certain individual, who will set you up with your georama. from then you can go online and access the story whenever, but you'll be limited on how much of the world map, and therefore which quests, you can access by how far you've progresses in the story. If a map isn't unlocked in story mode you can't access it online. Once you start increasing in GR through geonet, you'll also have to pick up quests at the adventurer's market to unlock some.
Also, be forewarned, if you play a new game + in order to get the bonus chests and gear, it resets your map back to the beginning of story mode, so you'll lose access to those areas until you unlock them again. |

I started the game, and I have one question. Should I just play the first playthrough without reading guide/wiki? I remember that I had to spend an extra 50h in Star Ocean because I didn't read anything on the first playthrough. Will that be the case with WKC?

So, 4 months later and GR11 now, I still have 1 question. Trophy-wise, is there any reason to purely farm guild rank points after I hit GR12? Most people I saw that have platinum are either GR14 or GR15. I still don't know why would they get that high just for platinum.
