Yea, all I can say is wow. So much hate for the game yet everyone on here played it a substantial amount of time. Here is a clue. If they make a sequel, you DONT BUY IT! Who cares if they make a sequel. I mean no one gripes when they make Hannah Montana.

As for Hannah Montana... thats because its, Hannah Montana. We're talking about Bethesda which also made Fallout 3 probably one of the best games for the PS3. Last edited by daneo1989; 02-11-2011 at 12:34 PM. |

Wet sequel? HELLS YESSES
i just dont understand why people don't like this game!!! I thought it was great. Sure the story was stupid (in the crappy action movie way the developers were going for) but the gameplay was fun as hell. Ive been excited for this game since i played the demo, and was extremely happy with my purchase (I got it for $11) and to everyone crying about the boneyard, go plat mirrors edge and talk to me about frustrating. My theory is your kinda not any good, because i breezed through the boneyard w no guides or assistance of any sort. The golden bullets mode was the most difficult for me, and i had to look up a video for a couple of the levels in points count mode, but nothing about this game was punch-a-baby-in-the-face infuriating. I'm lookin at my game collection and im seeing several games that were waaaaaaaaaaaay more frustrating. i just dont get it i guess. Its not like ppl are saying they didnt care for this game, its that they HATE it with a passion! I do not understand that. This game was cool. I would love a wet 2, especially if they were able to refine the various engines (combat, platform, etc.) and expand on some of the cooler aspects of the original. Ya'll are some haters. Brush up on your dual analog skills and maybe the game wouldn't be so hard? |

I Agree With Most Of What The People Are Saying Here. The Graphics Of WET Were Mediocre; They Tried To Hide How Below-Average They Were With The 70s Film-Feel. The Graphics Are Practically On Par With A PS2 Game. The Shoot-Outs (Although Unique In Their Way) Can Get Repetitive And Frustrating At Times. The Story Is The Worst Part Of The Game As It's Not Original And Has Many Loose Ends. Especially The Ending;
Anyone Who Was Considering Getting The Game, Do Not Be Turned Off It Completely. Who Knows? It Might Be Your Kind Of Game. Some Pros Of The Game Are That The Fighting Style Is Stylised, Unique, And Different To Most Third-Person Shooters Out There. The Platinum Is One Of Those Games That Is Challenging But Very Well Achievable. Overall, I'd Give The Game A 76%, Enjoyable (Most Of The Time) Although Unfinished.

the game was different. i'll gave it that as well as being challenging - my poor, poor ottoman was punched many a time due to this game. the crazy amount of playthrus and then MORE playthrus make me think i'd probably not touch part 2 if it came out unless it was drastically different...
i liked the challenge of this game, but, after a while it became work instead of fun and being a bit OCD about trophies, it takes a lot for me to not get 100% or at least platinum on a game when i'm close. |

I would love to see a WET 2. This game was far from perfect, but I think that's why I enjoyed it so much. It was different: a nice change from the same old military shooters and the same old sci-fi/fantasy RPGs. I really hope one day someone decides to make another one.
