True Triple Attack canceling

Hi guys,

I get to cancel TTA from a jump strong attack (jumping from a horse) at times, but those times I failed, it switches to my character, and sometimes it depletes a bit of the original character's musuo.

This is annoying because of that, I get to fail some missions (those that disallow the use of musou).

am I doing this correctly? and can this be done? I don't think its my fingers coordination issue.. (pressing both and at the same time)

It is not really a pressing issue, as I could work around with that, just wanting a confirmation on this, thanks!
