Am I making ranked matches right?

Hey guys, I am aiming towards some of the medal's now, such as "Team Death Match," and so on... But since nobody makes them I know that I have to host my own TDM's... So for making a ranked match all I need to do is put a checkmark in the "Ranked" box while creating it and everything counts?

That is correct. None of your pre-game stats will count. Game will have to fill up with at least 8 and then it'll start and the points etc will count.

edit: you can try for those medals in the official servers also

Also, one more question; to filter only the matches that are ranked I make my match making selection option as: Player Ranked. Correct?

Player Ranked will be the only ranked game you can create and play in. Dedicated ranked will make a ranked room but you won't be able to play in it; you can only host.

When people are looking for matches they'll find your room under Player Ranked options and then whatever mode you're playing. So if I'm looking for a player ranked TDM your room should be in the list.
