I hadn't played in so long, I still had my Brigadier General ranking from when the game was having ranking issues at release. I had the award requirement, but only 14k points lol. But at least they're legit points.

I downloaded the expansions and logged in, and was rewarded with a demotion to Wing Leader lol

But, I still have the chief sergeant, commander, and lt. colonel trophies so I guess its a wash

You only had 14000 points but at brigadier general?

Yeah, the game had terrible online issues when first released. People couldn't connect, points didn't register right, rankings didn't work, and when they tried to fix it people started ranking up way higher than they should have. Some people ranked up to General but they eventually fixed it, obviously.
