ROADMAP

Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10
- Offline: 43 (35 / 6 / 2 )
- Online: 5 (3 / 1 / 1 ) +1
- Approximate amount of time to : 30 – 40+ Hours. (10 - 15 Offline & 20+ Online)
- Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 3+ World Tour / 1 Arcade Singles / 1 Arcade Doubles.
- Does difficulty affect Trophies? : No. (“Great King” has reportedly been obtained on Easy)
- Missable achievements : "Famous", "Accomplished", & "Ultimate Star".
- Glitched Trophies: None.
- Do cheat codes disable Trophies?: No Cheat Codes available.

OFFLINE:
Step 1. Play Practice Mode and pop 30 balloons for "Balloon Popper".

Step 2. WORLD TOUR - FIRST PLAYTHROUGH:

• Start the World Tour on Casual difficulty to get "World Debut". During your first playthrough focus on getting used to the layout and how to complete the levels.
• Collect as many Stars as possible for “100 Stars” and you’ll most likely obtain “Famous” (350) & “Accomplished” (550), Don’t worry if you do not get enough for “Legend” (750), as we’ll leave that for the next playthrough. These Trophies are ***Missable*** , but you’ll have two tries at them.
• During this playthrough you should also have in mind the Trophies attached to the Mini-Games. These are available from the Main-Menu Party Mode, so again it’s no big deal if you do not get them.
  They are:
  -“Great Sniper”
  -“Mother Hen”
  -“Hat Tricker”
  -“Bomb Fiend”
  -“Wind Master”
  -“Wall Wiz”
• Whilst playing the Mini-Games you’ll get Stars & Money to help contribute. You’ll also rank up your abilities which leads to “My Style”. This can be obtained when you’ve reached level 10 on one of the four abilities. This will come naturally.
• The following will also come naturally as you progress through your first playthrough:- “10 Wins”, “Loving It”, “Endless Rally”, “Crowd Pleaser”, “All-Out Player” & “Rocker Server”.
• “Best Stroker” & “Volley Master” should also come during your first playthrough; however should they not give them a little more concentration during playthrough two.
  At the end you’ll receive “World Tour Cleared!”.

Step 3. WORLD TOUR - SECOND PLAYTHROUGH:

• This time concentrate on getting all the Stars possible. You should be able to make all the little tournaments that you failed to reach on your first playthrough.
• By the end of you second tour you should have around 300 Stars to be on track. Hire as many Agents as possible to get more Stars during this playthrough (They’ll be available in your second tour). This is the time to go for “Ultimate Star”. This Trophy is also ***Missable***
• “20 Awards” should also come during this playthrough.

Step 3a. WORLD TOUR – THIRD PLAYTHROUGH:

• This will be just in case you missed any of the above, but is mainly for “Good Partner”. This should come within your first tour of this playthrough.
• You should also make sure that you have “Shopaholic”, “Marathon Runner” & “Swing Machine” before finishing this one.
• You may also need to use this one in order to boost your earnings. Just play this playthrough until you get your third partner and then leave a saved game so you can come back to it if you do not achieve enough earning whilst on your way to "Online Master".

Step 4. ARCADE - DOUBLES:

• Play the Arcade Doubles on any difficulty to earn "Doubles Beginner" and "Doubles Grand Slammer".

Step 5. ARCADE - SINGLES:

• Play the Singles Arcade Mode on any difficulty and do not lose a single set. Your opponents will get harder as you progress, so use your first opponent to get your Drop Shots Points that count for “Medal Collector”. To get this you’ll need to vary your winning shots. For an easy way to get “Arcade Hero” & “Arcade Star” take your first service match to Deuce. Keep gaining advantage then loose the next point.... Continue to do this for 20 times and you’ll rack up the points. I finished my first match with 3,500,000 points..Which set me up good for achieving them both.
• I also took this time to go for “Pushing it to the MAX!”.
• You'll earn "Arcade Beginner" after beating your first opponent and "Great King" & “Grand Slammer” after beating King. Remember do not lose a set on the way to King, or you’ll not face him.
• During your matches, try to hit as many Volleys, Smashes & Supershots as possible and you should also obtain the "Power Smash", "Super Player" & “Big Hitter” Trophies.

Step 6. Miscellaneous:

• Play 10 Exhibition Matches for “Exhibitionist” and use the Party Mode from the Main Menu to get “Moneybags” & “Poker Face”.

Step 7. ONLINE:

• Play Online to get "Online Debut" & "First Online Victory".
• "Online Veteran" can be boosted easily, however you may wish to work towards it whilst trying for "Online Streak" & "Online Master". I had 23 Hrs of Online play when this Trophy popped for me.... This involved a LOT of boosting. Thanks simboes

• You will also gain money for playing Ranked Matches to work towards “Tycoon”. Should you not get it this way remember the save game you kept....?

Clear a stage in Singles Arcade Mode.

Clear a stage in Doubles Arcade Mode.

Difficulty doesn't matter.

Doubles Grand Slammer
Clear Doubles Arcade Mode.

Arcade Star
Achieve a player score of 5,000,000 points.
See Arcade Hero.

Arcade Hero
Achieve a player score of 7,770,000 points.
After each match you get bronze, silver, or gold medals that give you points depending on the winning shots you made. You need 10 of each for a Gold Medal (Volleys, Smashes, Lobs/Dropshots, Groundstrokes, Supershots & Max Serves). As posted in the Roadmap use your first opponent as you “Guiney Pig”, and keep it at “Deuce” for approx 20 occasions.
I played on normal and I finished my first match with 3,500,000 points this way and put me well on the way to earning the trophy.

Medal Collector
Earn 3 Points Won medals.
As said in Arcade Hero; after each match on Arcade Mode you earn medals related to the number of shots you made in the following categories:

• Volleys
• Smashes
• Lobs/Dropshots
• Groundstrokes
• Supershots
• Max Serves

Balloon Popper
Pop 30 balloons in Practice Mode.
Self Explanatory - Select PRACTICE from the main menu and pop 30 balloons.

Exhibitionist
Play 10 Exhibition Matches.
Self Explanatory - Play 10 Exhibition Matches. Set it to one match games to speed it up.

Great Sniper
Achieve a 5x Combo in Clay Shooting.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode - You’ll probably get it without even trying; as long as you don’t use the Button.
A tip for this is not to use the direction controller when hitting the ball and just simply keep pressing and holding .

Mother Hen
Deliver at least 10 chicks simultaneously to their mother in Egg Collector.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory – It’s easier on Level One as the balls are hit at you slower - Just remember to stay away from the gates until you have the 10.

Hat Tricker
Score 3 goals in a row in Ace Striker.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory – It’s easier on Level One as the goalie is slower and there’s no defenders.

Bomb Fiend
Detonate 20 bombs in the opponent's court in Bomb Match.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory – Use the for better control - You don't need to detonate them all on the same game session.

Wind Master
Pop 3 balloons in one Wind Match.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory – Aim for the middle of the court with the .

Wall Whiz
Hit a wall 5 times with the ball in one Wall Match.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory – Use the for better control – Try to keep at least two walls up. This is not accumulative.

World Debut
Participate in the World Tour.
Self Explanatory – Start World Tour and the Trophy will popup.

World Tour Cleared!
Clear the game.
Clear the World Tour and the Trophy will popup no matter how many stars you have.
This will take you through four seasons to participate in the continents biggest events. It does not matter how good or bad you are at this, as you’ll still get it.

Famous
Become: Famous.
********** Missable **********
Get 340 stars in the World Tour.
See Ultimate Star.

Good Partner
Acquire 3 doubles partners.
In the World Tour, a famous player will sometimes challenge you to a Vs Mini-Game. Just beat him and he'll become your doubles partner.
If you miss one, don't worry, your partners carry over across playthroughs – Usually gained at a rate of 1 per Tour.

My Style
Acquire a play style.
Whilst playing the Mini-Games you’ll rank up your abilities. This can be obtained when you’ve reached level 10 on one of the four abilities. This will come naturally.

100 Stars!
Earn 100 stars.
In the World Tour you gain stars doing various activities or taking part in the tournaments. This will come naturally.

20 Awards!
Earn 20 awards.
SPT Awards carry over across playthroughs and will be obtained when you clear a the continent that you’re playing on.
SPT Awards are obtained by being the following through that continent:

• Season MVP
• Spedy Finish Award
• MAX Serve Award
• Smash Point Award
• Super Shot Point Award
• Charity Event Award

Tycoon
Earn 1,000,000 in total prize money.
Money is accumulative. You do not have to have $1.000.000 available. You just need to have earned it through your whole career.
Money is gained whilst playing Ranked Matches online, so do not worry too much as “Online Master” will probably take you longer.
This can be grinded out later by playing another World Tour should you need too.

Shopaholic
Purchase 50 types of items in the Kit Catalogue.
Bought items carry over across playthroughs. You will need less than $300,000 to buy 50 items (depending on their price). Feel free to spend all your cash, this trophy doesn't conflict with "Tycoon" as explained above.

Online Debut
Play online with a customised character.
Self Explanatory – Just create someone and play an online game with him/her.

First Online Victory
Win an online ranked match.
See Online Streak.

Online Streak
Win three consecutive Ranked Matches.
Self Explanatory – Can be difficult and take a long time to obtain due to the Network Issues. Your streak will be restarted should the Network crash, or you pull out of the game. If you pull out before selecting a character it will not reset.
The best way I have found to play this game is to quick serve right across court and then run to the net for a smash.

10 Wins!
Win 10 matches.
Self Explanatory – This can be obtained through any of your playthroughs. It will come naturally.

Loving It!
Win 10 Love games.
Self Explanatory – You have to win the match without losing a point. Can be done in any play mode.

Pushing it to the MAX!
Hit four consecutive MAX serves.
Some people have found this quite difficult to get as the online serving is somewhat differently timed to the offline. I got it as described in the Roadmap whilst racking up the points on the first Arcade Mode character. Tips can be found HERE.

Endless Rally!
Sustain a rally for 30 shots.
Play an exhibition match on easy mode and just keep pressing without touching the dpad. The computer won't even try to make a winner, so can be easily earned in a couple of minutes. You may even get this naturally against a tougher opponent.

Crowd Pleaser
Hit a running shot.
Run and hit the ball - You should get this without trying.

All-Out Player
Hit a diving shot.
Hit the ball from far away - You should get this without trying.

Rocket Server
Hit a serve at 200km/h (124.3mph) or faster.
A MAX Serve triggers this.

Marathon Runner
Run 42km (26mi).
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Swing Machine
Swing 5000 times.
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Best Stroker
Win 100 points with ground strokes.
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Volley Master
Win 100 points with volleys.
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Great King
Defeat the King in Arcade Mode Singles.
To get King as an opponent you need to not lose a single set on your way to him. People have reported that you can not allow any match to go to Deuce and that you have to get 5 out of 6 Gold Medals. King shows up as the 5th opponent and he's tough. The tactic most used was to be very aggressive, serve in the angle to push him as far as possible and follow to the net with a Volley/Smash. Avoid staying on the baseline because he can hit the ball really hard or make some Dropshots. Slice as much you can by using to prevent him from attacking, and rush to the net. The return games are much more difficult but fortunately you don't need to win by a break, so focus on your 2 service games. The game allows you to restart the match as many times as you want

Poker Face
Get 10 royal straight flushes in Royal Poker.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode. Much easier than it seems, it's just a bit more time consuming than the other mini-games as you need to be on level 4 to even get the right cards to appear.
You don't need to get the 10 Royal Flushes on the same game session as it accumulative. For people who do not know what a Royal Flush is; it is a Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten of the same suit.
If they are not the same suit then it is classed as a straight, so will not count.

Moneybags
Collect 1000 coins in Coin Match.
This mini-game can be played in the World Tour or Party mode.
Self Explanatory & Accumulative – It just takes a while to get that many coins.

Accomplished
Become: Accomplished.

Get 550 stars in the World Tour.
See Ultimate Star.

Online Veteran
Log 10 hours of online play time.
Self Explanatory – Very time consuming, but can be boosted.
Boosting Partners can be found HERE.

Big Hitter
Hit 250 MAX Serves.
To hit a max serve to need to wait until your serve power meter is at its maximum. Use or whilst doing this.
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Super Player
Hit 100 super shots.
To make a Super Shot fill your power bar full by doing the shots that your player is known for, and then press the .
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Ultimate Star
Become: Ultimate Star.

Get 750 stars in the World Tour
As in the Roadmap, use the second season to really go for it. This way you’ll understand the mechanisms of the game and how to gain the most stars.
Don’t worry about money whilst going for this and focus on the activities that give stars; hire as many Agents as possible (they're available from season 2) and they’ll give you bonus stars for 7 days. There are two different types of Agents available and also cost different. Try to always have a RED agent as they give you a better bonus.
If you get 750+ Stars by the end of basically the US Open, there will be a 5th season where you can get even more stars and dollars. Your final opponent is King.
You can view your status by selecting "SPT Rating".

Online Master
Reach Rank A.
The most time consuming Trophy of all - You will start your online career at XP level G5 and you will need to work your way up the alphabet and take the numbers from 5 down to 1. When you get to level A5 the Trophy will pop.
It’s literally just a matter of time before you get this Trophy as all online gaming will give you some sort of XP, even if you lose. You will need a total of 8050xp in order to reach rank A5 - credit stuart1044.
A way of not even trying, but will take you ages, is to get onto the Network screen and just keep pressing . This will take you in and out of games and play, without you getting kicked. This will take a long time however, so be prepared to do this every evening for a week or two.....

Here's how you progress through the rankings: G5, G4, G3, G2, G1, F5, F4, F3, F2, F1, ... ... ... A5, A4, A3, A2, A1 (A5 is enough for Rank A ). You gain XP whether you win or lose a game: Friendly match: 6xp per won game and 5xp per lost game (tx dudevid) Ranked game: 7xp per won game and 6xp per lost game (tx boris) So make a Friendly match of 5 sets & 6 games without tie-breaker and conclude with a score of 6-5/5-6/6-5/5-6/6-5. Both of you will get over 300 points. The match lasts at least 50 minutes so it may be wise to play only 2 or 3 sets instead, in case you lose your connection (tx nsync). You can grind either actively or passively (credits Dudevid). 1/ Passive grinding (the match lasts around 1hr 50m but you do not have to do anything): Don't do anything. The players will serve automatically after 10 seconds and the match will end in 1hr 50m (approx). Each set lasts around 22m with auto serve. 2/ Active grinding - 1st method (lasts less than 1hr): Just throw aces. 3/ Active grinding - 2nd method (lasts less than 50m): Speed things up by skipping the "replay" video after each point. To do this, instead of making aces, let your opponent win the point. Why? Because if you make an ace, it triggers the replay. If your opponent wins the point by just pressing , there's no replay. A 5-Set match goes down from over an hour to less than 50m. Again boosting partners can be found HERE

To hit a smash try and get your opponent to attempt a lob and then press - This is usually done by net play.
Accumulative Offline – You'll get this eventually whilst aiming for other Trophies. DO NOT GRIND

Collect every trophy.
Platinum – As always, will be obtained once all others are achieved.

You can actually do this on Easy, I did. And you didn't mention that you're not guaranteed to meet him by just not dropping a game, that will likely get you Duke. It seems the way to get King is to not drop a game, never go to Deuce and get 5 out of the 6 medals.

If you get 750+ Stars by the end of basically Wimbledon, there will be a 5th season where you can get even more stars and dollars.

Wimbledon is the 3rd season, the 4th season ends with the US Open.

is the worst online game for the ps3 to date. Thats why. One you get error keep trying you will get a game eventually
